-"Spencer? Spencer, can you hear me? Come on wake up."Spencer groggily turned her head and faced the person looking at her. A young woman with short hair dressed in a period dress smiled at her. Spencer turned her head around. They were in an empty room inside what appeared to be an abandoned house. "I know everything seems and sounds confusing to you right now, but you have got to get yourself together. You need to help Caleb find me."
-"Caleb? What does he have to do with all of this? Who are you? And why does my b... Caleb need to find you?" Spencer stopped herself as she realized what she almost said. She had almost referred to Caleb as something else, not just her friend or her best friend's boyfriend. "Scratch that where the hell am I?" .
-"You are in the scariest place on Earth, your mind, and you can't stay much longer. I came to you to get you to deliver this message to Caleb. I promise that in time everything will become clear." The young woman raised a pendant that she had around her neck. "This pendant is the way to find me. The only one that can do so is the person that saw the phone booth weeks ago. Tell Caleb this. He will know what to do. Now you must go. Do not worry after this conversation. Your nightmares will end for you have fulfilled your destiny."
The girl moved and hugged Spencer, kissing her cheek. Spencer felt her eyes close as darkness surrounded them. When she opened her eyes she saw Caleb and Hanna studying her worriedly. Hanna had woken up an hour before and Caleb had told her of the conversation he had with Original Caleb. They had then resumed keeping an eye out on Spencer's sleeping form.
-"So did you haveany more nightmares? Are you ok?" Spencer nodded her head, her hand going up and rubbing her forehead. Caleb headed to the counter and poured her a cup of coffee before returning to the bed and handing it to Spencer.
-"I had a weird dream instead. I was inside an old room with the girl I sawdying on the boat. She told me that you had to find her, that the only way to do so is to use a pendant and that the only one capable of using it is the person that saw the phone booth. I think all the A stuff going on in Rosewood finally did its number on my brain and I've completely lost it."
Spencer stood up, failing to notice the quick looks Caleb and Hanna gave each other once they heard her story. She then raised her hands above her head and turning to face her friends she smiled at them. She seemed to finally be in a better state of mind.
-"I'm going to head back to Rosewood now. Toby's probably going to send a search party after me. Thank you guys for helping me out." She gave them both a small kiss on their cheeks before heading out the door, leaving the pair staring after her.
-"What just happened? That did not sound like Spencer at all." Caleb turned his head to look at Hanna, but she just shrugged her shoulders at him, shaking her head slightly.
-"I don't know. As long as she's not here asking questions about her dreams and what they mean I don't care. You might have been able to lie to her about what's going on in this town, but I stand no chance. She's my freaking best friend. She can tell when I'm lying."
-"I'm tired of all this shit. It's like our whole lives are nothing but one question mark after another. Phone booth? Pendant? It's like we get one answer and a thousand questions for each new answer." Caleb sighed, frustrated, as Hanna lowered herself behind him on the bed and started rubbing his shoulders. She pushed him to lie on the bed, face down, while she straddled his hips, working off the tension in his back muscles.
-"Caleb, we'll get through this. We didn't come this far not to have a happy ending." Hanna whispered into his ear, her lips touching his ear before her teeth grabbed his earlobe. Caleb moaned, shifting his body so that he was laying beneath her, facing her.
-"Get above me." Hanna raised an eyebrow at him before understanding dawned on her face. Raising herself from his bed she removed her underwear before returning to her position. Caleb's hands however grabbed her and brought her forth so that her crotch was positioned right above his open mouth.
He placed his hands on her hips, keeping her in a still position while Hanna steadied herself, using the bed's headboard. Caleb latched his lips onto her nether ones. Hanna threw her head backwards, letting a moan escape her lips as Caleb ate her.
As an orgasm washed over Hanna, she screamed. Caleb smiled against her body before pulling her to sit on his lap. Hanna could barely move because of the intensity of her orgasm. She bent over and kissed Caleb, tasting herself on his lips. She grinded her body against his before finally trying to remove herself from his embrace.
-"I think we're late for meeting with you friends. We should call them and let them know we're on our way." As she extended her hand to grab his phone, Caleb stopped her.
-"Wait, wait, wait. Can we call them in like half an hour?" The look he gave her melted her heart so Hanna agreed to the idea.
-"Half an hour it is. We better make the most of it." She kissed him once more, their hands working together quickly to remove unnecessary obstacles. Half an hour later, they managed to straighten their clothes and to leave Caleb's loft, heading for Hanna's place. She had suggested meeting there because they would have enough space and privacy from prying eyes.
Hanna let Caleb drive through the town before reaching her house. It only took one glance at them for Olivia and Miranda to grin excitedly while Luke groaned. Remy gave him a small kiss on the lips as they entered Hanna's house. Miranda had told them of Spencer's visit and Original Caleb's reaction to it.
Even more questions were raised as Hanna and Caleb explained what they had learned from Spencer's visit. However, before any of them could think of a way to use the information they had received, the fireplace suddenly filled with fire. The lights started going on and off and all the doors closed while the windows shut.
Fear and panic went through everyone's core as they watched Max descend the stairs, an evil grin on her face. Caleb moved in front of Hanna as Olivia and Remy gathered near Luke. Miranda moved towards Max, but she just laughed at her.
-"Your friend should not have told you about the pendant. But rest assure, it won't matter. Soon all of you will be dead just like Dillon and everything will return to normal. And there's nothing you can do, there's nothing you can do." Max sung her last few words before disappearing from the room. Caleb gathered Hanna in his arms as she placed her head on his shoulder.
The temperature in the room, which had previously dropped, eventually returned to normal as the teens remained silent. None of them knew how to react to Max's words. Hanna broke the silence by asking the question most of them were thinking.
-"So given what Max just said then we can assume that Dillon is dead and that that's why no one has found him yet?" Olivia shook. The stress and pressure of the past few days' events finally took a toll on her and she snapped, silent tears coming down her face. She had wanted to see Dillon dead, to see him pay for her father's death, but deep down inside of her there would always be a part that loved him, the same part that knew he had cared about her as well.
Luke must have sensed her distress because he wrapped his arms around her body, letting her cry out her pain away. He lowered them on Hanna's couch while Remy sat next to them on an armchair. Miranda left the room, saying she wanted to check on their families while Hanna headed to the kitchen to makes some coffee and tea, Caleb following closely behind her.
-"When you said I didn't want to know anything about Max I thought you were kidding. Caleb, that girl is the scariest thing I have ever seen in my life. I've never been as terrified of any of A's actions as I was to see her here in this house."
-"I know. Believe me, I know exactly how you feel. This is why I wanted to keep you away from this place. I wanted to protect you from all this shit. Hanna, you can't stay here in this house all by yourself. It's not safe for you to be alone, not with Abbadon or Max lurking around."
-"Then why don't you move in with me? It's not like we haven't lived together before. Plus there's plenty of rooms available here."
-"I think that's a good idea. There's strength in numbers." Remy's voice coming from the door surprised them both. She had left Luke to try and calm Olivia down and had come to see if she could help them out in the kitchen. "Especially since the two of you have a bond so strong. I'm sure Miranda and Original Caleb could work out a way of being around Hanna until she enlists in Ravenswood High. You are enrolling there aren't you?"
-"Actually I don't have to. I had enough credits to finish high schoolearly and I have already been accepted into college." Remy and Caleb looked at her, surprised, while Hanna busied herself with the tea and coffee.
-"When were you going to tell me this?" Caleb sounded dumbfounded as Remy retired from the kitchen. Hanna watched her go before she turned her head to face Caleb.
-"It's one of the reasons my mom agreed to let me leave Rosewood. I'm 18 and going to college next fall, but with the way things were going in Rosewood staying meant only trouble so I took this as a way out of A's radar. So are you moving in with me or not?"
-"I will, but we're staying in separate bedrooms. I don't want your mom to kill me if she decides to visit and finds me living here." Caleb chuckled as he thought about the wrath such an event would bring out of one Ashley Marin.
-"You underestimate both yourself and her. She's team Caleb. But you can ask her more about this next time she decides to drop by for a visit. Now help me carry these to the living, ok?" Caleb pressed a slow kiss to her lips before they made their way back to their friends.
