Chapter Eleven: The Road Trip Part Three: New York & Elijah

Damon's P.O.V

It's our last day at the beach house and I feel a little sad that I can't stay here with Elena because this week has been all fun and love. I never felt like this in my entire life and I just never want it to stop before I acted all bad ass vampire all the time, but now I don't even know the guy anymore.

I lie in the big bed in the master bedroom with a sleeping Elena in my arms and I couldn't be happier I just love being close to her. When I feel her awakening I slowly caress her cheek as she turns around looking me in the eyes. I'm completely under her spell when she looks at me with her beautiful doe brown eyes, every time I look at her I just know that I love her.

"Good morning, Damon." She says kissing me passionately and I kiss her back.

"Good morning, Elena." I say pulling her closer to me until I feel her body against mine. "So how do you want to spend our last day here at the beach house?" I ask her since this trip is about her.

"Hmm, I don't know, Damon. How about a few hours right here in bed? Then we can go to the beach again and go to dinner together after?" She says seductively while kissing my lips softly leaving me wanting her even more.

"That sounds like a plan a good one, but wait! What are we gonna do in this bed for a few hours?" I tease her with a smirk.

"Glad you asked." She says seductively rolling on top of me then continues. "We could do this." She says kissing me passionately on my lips. "And this." She says continuing kissing me on my cheek and down my jaw continuing to my neck.

"I like that idea, but I need to grab a blood bag first." I say trying to get up, but she holds me tight.

"You don't have to, Damon. You can feed from me? You haven't wanted to the last few days so please just feed on me, Damon." She says kissing me with lust.

"Elena! I could end up hurting you!" I say horrified knowing what she'll suggest next.

"We can feed from each other then?" She asks innocently and I know she isn't gonna stop.

"Elena! It's not healthy for you." I say concerned and she looks at me with her beautiful brown eyes.

"Please Damon, let me do this for you." She says and I give in knowing that I want to feel the connection again as much as she does. I grab the needle that I placed on the nightstand to make a wound in my neck and she slowly brings her mouth to it then starts to drink from it and I kiss her neck for a while before I drink from her.

I feel us being connected like last time like we're one and she drinks willingly while I do the same not wanting to stop I just wanting us to stay connected, but I feel her getting weaker so I unwillingly stop drinking from her and letting her drink a little longer before she stops.

She looks at me with her beautiful eyes before leaning back down to kiss me passionately and I kiss her back with all I have before I roll on top of her starting to kiss her neck. She moan loudly before she places her hands softly on my cheeks uniting our lips.

After we finally get out of bed we take a hot bath together and the back of her head is resting on my shoulder and we stay there for about an hour. When we get back out I get dressed for the beach before I walk downstairs to make her some breakfast because blood isn't good enough for her, at least not yet.

After breakfast Elena and I walk to the beach to spend our last day there because Elena really wants to and I like making her happy, but it's nice that she likes to do fun stuff like going to the beach. As we get there we put the towel on the ground and I get an idea so I left her up.

"Damon! What are you doing." She laugh as I walk towards the water.

"I'm going into the water." I say innocently and she knows what I'm about to do.

"No Damon, it cold." She begs laughing, but it's no use. "Please put me down." She says not realizing that we're already in the water.

"Okay." I say slowly putting her down, but then she feel the water.

"No Damon. I didn't mean in the water." She laugh as she's down in the water.

"You didn't say that." I tease her laughing at her expression.

"Oh, I'm gonna get you for that." She says pushing me under the water and I decide to let her since I can easily get up if I wanted to. We fool around in the water for a while before we go back on shore because Elena wants to sunbathe and I lie down beside her just enjoying her company.

When it's getting dark we walk home hand-in-hand to change clothes so that it's suitable for the place I picked for dinner. We get to the restaurant and walk in a waiter comes over to us showing us to a table. I made sure to choose a romantic place for dinner just for Elena and the waiter hands us a menu.

Elena gasps at the price, but I quickly tell her not to worry about that and we both order the 'daily special' so we could be surprised. The food was amazing and I could see that Elena enjoyed it and that means that I succeeded in finding a good place for dinner.

After dinner I ask her to dance with me since I picked a place where it was a possibility and she looks at me happily as I bow for her and reach my hand out for her to take it. She takes my hand as I lead her out on the dancing floor pulling her closer as we start to move slowly to the beat of the music.

All in all this day was perfect when we got home she kissed me passionately while wrapping her hand around my neck and I lift her up and she locked her legs around my waist as she begged me to take her to bed so of cause I did because there's no way I can resist her.

*The Next Day - Leaving For New York*

I wake up with my beautiful girlfriend in my arms making me the happiest vampire on earth just wishing that we didn't have to leave today, but it's time to go to New York for some blood bags and then after sleeping there over night we have to go back home to our real lives.

I get up packing our stuff and putting it in the car before I make breakfast for Elena once I'm done packing the car and in the kitchen making breakfast Elena appears walking down the stairs. I walk towards her and she walks into my embrace and I kiss her passionately after she's done eating we get into the car driving to New York.

We have been driving for 3 and a half hour when we arrive in New York where we spend the day sightseeing because I really wanted to show Elena New York and because I can't go to a hospital to get blood bags in daylight because there would be too many witnesses to get away with it.

I take her to see Time Square and Lady Liberty, she was amazed not just about the places, but also the city itself. We spend the whole day walking around the streets and seeing a lot of different things and when the darkness fell over the city I when to a random hospital to get a lot of blood bags to bring home and surprisingly it went down without and trouble at all.

I decided to take Elena another nice place for dinner before showing her where I spend the 70'ies we walked to what I called 'the underground of the underground' and as I remember the party there is wild and the music is amazing.

Elena and I stayed there listening to music, drinking and partying. It really seems like she's enjoying New York it's just too bad that we have to continue driving tomorrow, but it's risky to stay after stealing the blood bags.

When it's about 5am we check into a hotel to get some sleep before we drive home again and I decided to get us a really big and beautiful room with a great view. If it had been a cartoon then I would literally have seen Elena jaw drop to the floor when she saw the room I picked for us and let just say we didn't get much sleep before a couple hours later not the I mind - not at all.

*"The Next Morning" - Time To Go All The Way Home*

I wake up in the delicious hotel room with Elena in my arms and all I can think is that 'I can get used to this' because I already did. She wakes up when I caress her cheek slowly and we decide to call for room service for breakfast so we can stay in bed a little longer.

We eat our breakfast in bed together just enjoying to be there together alone in the quiet, we also decided to blood share every day in case something should happen to her that none of us could predict because she wants to be a vampire and I don't want to lose her.

We finally get out of the hotel and to the car where we have seven hours of driving to do before we're back home. After five and a half hours of drive the car has a flat tire and I forgot to bring an extra one so we're stuck near Richmond.

"How are we gonna get home, Damon?" Elena asks clearly not happy about it.

"I don't know yet, Elena, but I'm calling for help now." I say walking a few steps before calling when I get off the phone I walk over to her. "You're not gonna like this, but we're stuck here until tomorrow because no one will drive here now." I say annoyed by it.

"That sucks." She says as we get back in the car to at least keep her warm after an hour someone stops behind us and I get out of the car to see who it is.

"Hi, do you guys need help?" A guy asks sweetly.

"Yeah we do, but we were told we couldn't get help until tomorrow." I say politely.

"What's the problem?" He asks sweetly.

"We have a flat tire and I forgot an extra one." I say feeling stupid for forgetting something important like that on a road trip.

"I have an extra one in the back of the car so I can change yours if you like." He says sweetly.

"That would be awesome, then we can get home today and that would be nice." I say thinking that this guy is nice and I walk to Elena. "Hey Elena, can you come out here while this nice man changes our tire?" I say opening the door for her and he changes the tire in under five minutes then he comes over to us.

"It should be okay now." He says with a smile.

"Thank you so much for your help." Elena says sweetly.

"By the way I'm Elijah, Elijah Mikaelson." He says shaking hands with Elena and I already feel jealous.

"I'm Elena Gilbert and this is my boyfriend Damon Salvatore." She says softly.

"Nice to meet you Damon and Elena, so where are you heading?" Elijah asks sweetly.

"We're heading to Mystic Falls, Virginia." She says sweetly.

"Wow small world so am I, but I can't find it." Elijah says amazed and all I can think is 'of cause he's going to Mystic Falls and of cause he can't find it'.

"You can just follow us then." She says sweetly as we walk to the car.

"Thanks Elena." Elijah says getting in his car while we get in mine and drives back to Mystic Falls. When we get back to Mystic Falls Elena gets out of the car to tell Elijah that we're there and because I'm a vampire I'm able to hear everything they're saying and I wish I wasn't.

"We're in Mystic Falls now and I hope you can find the place your looking for." She says sweetly.

"Thank you so much, Elena. I was wondering if maybe you could show me around town?" Elijah asks politely.

"Sure of cause." She says innocently.

"Thanks Elena, here's my number text or call whenever you have time." Elijah says flirty handing her a piece of paper and she walks back to my car as Elijah drives by us.

"Elena, please tell me you aren't gonna meet with him." I say hoping she'll throw his number away.

"What? Why not? He helped us get home, so I should help him in return." She says not really getting that he was flirting with her.

"Elena, he's into you that's why he gave you his number." I say not happy that she doesn't even see it.

"Even if he is it doesn't matter because I'm with you, Damon. I love you." She says kissing me passionately and I feel calmer for a while. "Can I sleep at you place tonight? I need to show you again that I only love you." She says seductively.

"Of cause, that sounds like an intriguing idea." I say driving to the boarding house and leads her to my room and we barely make it in there before her lips is on mine and I give into her right away.
