Tsuki: Well, I don't know what to say for this chapter...

Romano: How about...'Geez, I sure am giving those two a hard time. Maybe I should give them a break'

Tsuki: Not gonna happen. Oh, and the reason I was delayed was cause it was freaking storming at home and my stupid power went out, by the time my power came back I had a hundred e-mails from my friend who thought I died, thanks a lot...but she's threatened me about my new and better profile picture! So I'm writing now...

Elli: Tsuki-chan has much planned for this fanfiction

Tsuki: Yep, it'd be nice to have a Beta for once, I've done these past eleven chapters on my own.

Spain: Then Chi-chan did her stories on her own too...

Tsuki: I don't care about her stories.

Roamno: Just shut up and start this damn chapter!

Tsuki: Fine...

Disclaimer: Wishing to own Hetalia doesn't mean it'll happen.

Antonio stood in his place, staring at this Frenchman with a unclear stare. Who was this strange man? Was this the doctor Lovi told him about that would have treated him two months ago...? The alien just didn't know, but this man held a strange air around him. So when the man walked over to the brunette and guided him to sit on a slant of wood Antonio just limply did as he was guided.

"Now Mr. Carriedo..." Francis began,

"Just call me Antonio..." the blond man tilted his head in thought before nodding slowly.

"Ok, Antonio..I bet you have some questions about this situation.-"

"No kidding."

"-So what would be the first and I'll start it off..." completed the doctor while smiling proudly. Antonio glanced at the blond and wondered what to ask before sighing and looking down at his axe.

"How do you know Lovi and Feli?" he asked simply, looking up to see the Frenchman looking at the dark clouds in the sky.

"I knew their grandfather years ago, and...you know what? You won't get this unless I tell you the whole story..." he laughed and rubbed his temple. Antonio sat up straight and nodded.

"Please tell me! I want to know!" he literally begged as he grabbed the blond man's sleeve tightly, "Lovi...is important to me.."

Francis smiled before rubbing the Spaniard's shoulder and sighing.

"Well, It all started a few years ago..."

Francis nodded as he watched the Italian drink away heavily, Romulus always did when he had bad news. The Frenchman remebered the last few times he was here. The first being that his son and his daughter-in-law divorcing. The second being that his son cheated on his wife and had affairs with another who had twin boys, but that quickly was healed as the boys first showed up. The third was when the boys' were handed to his care cause his son couldn't afford to keep them. The fourth was his son and the boys' mother dying from a shoot-out in Sicily, the boys only five years old. For a while it was all good past then, the boys going to school and making good grades. But now that they graduated Romulus was faced with another problem.

"Romulus...What's wrong this time?" Francis asked as he poored another glass for the man. The tall man only stared ahead before speaking in a raspy voice.

"I did something terrible...Romano will hate me forever..." Francis perked his ears and turned his head.

"What did you do?"

Lovino groaned in slight pain as the soles of his feet ached harshly. All of them were forced out of the shop and have been walking all night and morning to who knows where. The men had a car and followed them, their bodyguards switching shifts. Except for them though. The Italian could tell Feliciano was struggling and Elizabeta was shaking from fear, no matter how brave she was. This was all his fault...if only he stayed away. Away from his fratello and the damn bastard...

Romulus smiled sadly and looked down. "I got a loan from the mafia...for Feliciano to go to that college he always wanted to go..." Francis widened his own eyes and leaned over the counter.

"And Lovino...?" he said in a rush, worried about the other's safety. The tall Italian only closed his eyes.

"I told them the loan was for Lovino instead of Feliciano...so if I'm ever...past due to pay..." he started. Francis closed his eyes and looked away.

"Lovino has to pay...or else..." Romulus nodded sadly.

"I was so stupid..." he started drinking his alcohol again. Francis only watched, his eyes shining with an unknown emotion.

Lovino closed his eyes as he brainstormed, trying not to panic. He noticed the crop field not far from them and suddenly shifted to the side to hit the potato bastard.

"Hey, listen. Don't talk back." he whispered harshly to the taller German. Ludwig made the response of tilting his head to the side, just the slightest. "As soon as the mafia freaks switch out again, I want you to grab Feli and Lizzy and run like hell. To the crops, it'll hide you guys good enough for you to get away. Don't screw this up or you'll never have my consolence to marry my idiot brother. Capace?" The Italian's only answer was a nod of the head before he looked on again, walking endlessly.

He needed to protect Feli...like his nonno wanted him to do...

Hours later Francis was forced to help Romulus out of the bar and to head home, the man too drunk to see what was infront of him. It was a sad thing, telling your older grandson's name so the younger could pay off. It was clearly seen that Romulus liked Feliciano better, but he still tried with Lovino...

He called him Romano so they could sound closer. Romulus and Romano, sounds nice correct?

Francis sighed as the tall Italian was trying to stand on his own. "I canph stands ons mia ownsa!" the man slurred. The blond struggled to keep him still as he swung around the Frenchman."M-Mr. Vargas! P-Please stop moving!" he ordered to deaf ears as he lost hold of the man and fell on his ass in a puddle. The Italian laughed before stumbling back his hands in the air.

"Let the mighty God strike me! For I have sacrificed my own flesh and blood to the sinners of the greedy! Let me be punish-" a loud honk on a horn sounded off before Francis's eyes were blocked by a sea of red. He shook dramatically as red liquid dripped and slides down his own body.

"Romulus..." Francis whispered. "This isn't how it's suppose to end..."

Lovino watched and waited carefully, he could feel that Ludwig was too. It wouldn't be long before the switch out, Ludwig was already behind Feliciano and Lizzy. Gilbert didn't know but hopefully he'll follow his little brother instead of standing beside the Italian. Lovino swallowed harshly, sweat dripping down his neck. The sun was now fully up and at full blast, it wasn't bad walking at night or early morning. But now it was hell. Lovino looked back again to see the car pulling up and stopping to open it's door.

Now!

Just as the members were entering the car Ludwig made quick work of grabbing Feliciano and Elizabeta by the waist and hoisting them on his broad shoulders before he dashed to the crops. There was much commotion as the mafia men tried to get their guns and such and chase after them, shooting blindly. Lovino thought this was the perfect time to run himself, but for some reason...his legs wouldn't move. His world around him was dull and muted, gunshots and screams from Feliciano were deaf to his ears as he looked ahead.

Maybe it would be better if he was taken care of? Feliciano wouldn't have to worry about him anymore and he could finally move to America. It would make nonno proud up in heaven...

As the gunshots stopped anf the screams faded Lovino took a sweet breath of relief. They were safe now...it felt like a heavy burden was taken off his shoulders, even if the mafia told him to keep moving with the hit of a gun barrel. But tha feeling of relief was instantly shattered as he felt a tug on the arm and a head of white by his side.

"Potato bastard 2! You were suppose to run with them!" he hissed lowly. The albino only smirked.

"I have to keep Toni's little love safe till he gets here." he informed irrationally. Lovino tsked and looked away while clenching his fists.

"He's not coming, to save me of all people..." he said slowly, the albino only smiled and nudged the small Italian with his shoulder.

"Just trust me on this one!" he laughed quietly before looking ahead. "Mein gott...your so hard headed."

Lovino tsked again and decided to ignore the Prussian before looking up at the dark sky.

Francis stood in the hospital, watching as two Italian teens to ran though the hospital doors. One was covered in tears while the other was trying to hold them back. Francis sighed as they spotted him and rushed over to him.

"Big Brother!" cried Felicano as he crashed into the blond and cried harshly into his shirt. Lovino only stood and looked away, biting his lip like it was his only support.

Francis sighed, "I'm sorry...I-I wasn't carefully watching him. I tried to stop the bleeding but I didn't know how and-"

"Shut up...It wasn't your fault..." Lovino growled lowly. Francis looked down at his borrowed clothes from the hospital and sighed.

"They want you two to stay with me...since you have no other relatives..." he said quietly, the boys looked at him, their eyes shadowed in doubt and fear. Francis vowed he never wanted to see those two with those eyes again.

"Ok Big Brother, we'll stay with you!" Feliciano choked and hid his face again.

Francis sighed queitly and patted the Italian's head. Lovino only watched before he looked down.

"I'm going to keep him safe...nonno would want me to.."

Antonio looked down silently, his gren eyes hooded with and unknown emotion.

"So Lovi was forced to pay the debt?" he asked slowly. The blond nodded.

"Oui, but he couldn't get money with the mafia running down his neck so he constantly ran all over Italy to find work. Feliciano stayed with me so he could be in college. And then soon enough I went to get a medical degree. This went on for about...four years...before the mafia started after Lovino. So we left the country, to Germany first. Feli started a little business with his degree in business and art, that's where we met Ludwig. It was all nice until the mafia found us again, so we country hopped, and Ludwig followed us. Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, then in France we split up, the boys and Ludwig went down to Spain while I stayed in France. I made friends with Gilbert, who I didn't know at the time was Ludwig's brother, and told him my problem. He told me he would take care of it before he dissapeared for a few days then called me to say he was with them now...and it was all quiet and humble until now..." Francis slowly looked down fiddling with Antonio's sleeve.

Antonio sighed and looked down at the axe, now he wanted to protect Lovino more..but how could he if he didn't know where they took to him or what they did too him? He didn't even know about this damn earth and he was being sucked into human relations! But his heart...it was wreching and pulling...just like a human's. Would that mean...he was human now? Was two simple months living with an Italian and having a place where he belonged really affecting him that much?

"What can I do now, Francis?" Antonio asked, "Cause I don't know anymore.." the blond only smiled sadly.

"Go save them..."

"How am suppose to do that? I don't even know where they could be-"

"WAAHH! FRATELLO! Ludwig put me down!" a wail from afar screeched, both men turned their heads to see what they never expected to spot.

It was Ludwig, carrying on his shoulders a weeping Feliciano and still Elizabeta, he himself looked worn and tired. His hair was a mess and his clothes were dirtied. Antonio immediately stood along with Francis.

"Ludwig!" Antonio yelled before running at them, his axe trailing. Ludwig froze but relaxed just slightly.

"Antonio...your here..." he said slowly and lowered both his carries down. Elizabeta stayed where she stood, distant and still; but Feliciano rushed forward and held Antonio in a vice grip.

"Antonio! I knew you'd come back! Lovino, Lovino..." he wailed loudly as he buried his face in the Spaniard's shirt. "Go save Lovino.."

Francis moved closer and nodded and Ludwig before seeing the distressed woman. "Ludwig, who's that?" he whispered.

Ludwig sighed, "That's Elizabeta, we met her before in Austria and Gilbert seemed to be close friends with her. She didn't know a lot about the situation..." Francis nodded slightly before walking towards the woman.

"Miss Elizabeta...? Are you okay..?" the blond asked slowly. Elizabeta only turned her head back and shook.

"Gilbert...he stayed behind...with Lovino.." she whispered, Ludwig jumped and turned around back to the field.

"That's impossible! I was sure he knew he was suppose to follow me!"

Antonio looked towards the field and then back at Feli, he frowned.

"He's staying with Lovi...cause he thinks I'll show up.." he said slowly. Everyone loooked at the Spanaird to see his tense stance, "Ludwig...which way were they going?" he asked. Ludwig sighed and looked towards the field.

Gilbert and Lovino walked for what seeemd like ages, but it was only an hour before they finally saw something other than crop fields. Gilbert gaped, his red eyes widening.

"Mein gott...why would they take us here?" he asked queitly, Lovino was at a loss also. Why take them here when they could have easily finished them off miles away?

Not far from where they were walking was a lone white church building with a little cross at the top, around the building were high and heavy gray stones and monuments that seemed to shadow the grass and make the area seem more morbid.

A graveyard.
