Yay for updates! yay for disclaimers! yay for...yays!

-I'm sorry about this Sky but you're going to have to tell me about the incident in detail. – The office felt stuffy despite the fact that it had large windows with breezes of fresh air coming through them, the older man arranged a tablet in front of them and Sky noticed a voice recording app appear on its screen as he placed it between them – You know restraining orders also have expiration dates and she's doing her homework. – A cold look from the teen and he immediately went silent, after a brief and very uncomfortable moment she talked.

-I want this to be private, my uncles and I have suffered enough while in the public eye. – And then she tapped the record button on the app, gave her statement without a hitch and at the end she stared him square in the eyes. –Did I miss anything?

-I believe you conveyed everything quite well. – Tapping the stop button he continued. – I'll make sure this is as private as possible Sky, have nice day.

-You too sir – But when she said that the pale color her skin acquired while she gave her statement still hadn't returned.

Exiting trough another door he found Jack leaning against a door frame with a deep scowl on his face. – Worrying too much again, are we? – And Jack shot up his face in amazement.

-Sorry I didn't notice you were there I'll...uh, escort you to the door. - As they walked together the older man turned to look at Jack Jameson, face of S.H Records and the current head in management of the partnership that controlled the label. While Jack had been a musician the lawyer had the joy of legally representing the band and as time passed he became acquainted with the child that had somehow become a daughter to the three remaining band mates ; He tried to talk but a small chuckle came out instead and Jack looked quizzically at him.

– Sorry...It's just that – he wheezed a bit trying to contain the laughter – She's so much like him, isn't she?

A gray expression formed on his face, and then it became a confusing mixture of joy and sadness – She-you have no idea… – and then all the joy faded away slowly as they reached the last door down the hall, the one that exited the place through a discreet street where no one would spot him. – So did-did she…uh…what did she say? – And the older man knew that Jack, always so timid and taciturn, had been holding in that question since he had come out of the office Sky was in. He chuckled again as he touched the door handle.

- Don't worry. – He was about to turn but the insistence in Jack's voice made him stay in his spot.

-But she didn't tell me Elle went to visit her, I'm not even supposed to know.

-She wouldn't have given me a statement for the order if she wanted to go back with her. - Jack stepped closer.

-She would do anything Cam asked her to, she trusts him completely…even something she didn't want to do. – And the older man couldn't help but chuckle as he calmly opened the door and turned to face Jack one final time.

-She's so much like her father that I doubt that's possible.

Dear Sky:

I'll definitely protect you when I come back, I'm growing…in the literal sense of the word! Isn't that cool? I had to order some new pants because my old ones are starting to make me look like a dork (lol)...seriously though I don't think you'll be able to recognize me anymore!

XOXOXO Your Ken

P.s I was joking please don't forget me!

Jack was supposed to be working on paperwork that had been waiting to be finished all morning but he was just staring at the screen, Sky's presence was all to distinct to him as she paced around the room and into the kitchenette on his left side. Picking up his week old dirty plates and take out trash around the office.

-Seriously Gigi, how in the world can you hold meetings in here? – He could see her picking up the old smelly paper bags with grease stains on them with two fingers as she cringed a bit.

-It's just Cam and Dom, they know what goes on in here – He shrugged trying to ignore the uneasy feeling in his gut and the question that was burning a hole in his consciousness. She turned again to the small kitchen and opened a door which hid a trashcan; she sighed and complained about him not letting the cleaning ladies in his office. –You know I don't like strange people touching my things! – and she giggled a bit, in a strange girly way that resembled her father's laugh in nothing and yet everything at the same time, walking around and dusting off his cabinets she looked around his office and nodded looking very pleased.

-Now – She looked directly at him and caught his stare. – I'm going to make you some food and you can eat it and save the leftovers, all that take out is going to be bad for you – she crossed her arms and made a triumphant expression when he smiled at her.

-You shouldn't be the one telling me that miss "I can eat 3 large combos at burger queen". - Of course she laughed and just excused herself with being a teen who faithfully followed his example and it made him miss her too much, he almost blurted out the one thing he would definitely take to his grave, that he loved her as if she was his own daughter and wanted her to stay.

Eventually Cameron and Dominic burst in at the smell of Sky's cooking and they sat down and ate at the tiny coffee table like the improvised family that they were, they laughed and talked and enjoyed the moment because Sky felt like she was further away from them than ever.

Dear Sky:

Something just feels different when I hang out with the guys her, it's not quite like when we spent time together…it's not that you're not cool or anything of the sort, it's just… I never really had lots of friends; it's always just been you.

Love, Your Ken

The pungent smell of antiseptics was surrounding her and would have triggered frantic responses if it wasn't for the calming presence in front of her, blocking her way to the door of course, but somehow the rough fingers placing the gauze on her cheek and adjusting it soothed her.

-You really have to stop attracting disasters Sky. – She smirked up at him and his golden eyes and he returned a strange gaze, or at least she suspected he did since he quickly returned his eyes to the task at hand, Sky's scraped face.

-Oh wow, thanks Nath! I hadn't thought of that before. – Even though her words were sarcastic her tone was amiable and filled with contained laughter so he released a smile as he hunched over to apply some ointment on her chin.

-I meant you have to start being extra careful…especially around stairs, seriously this is the fifth time this week you slip there. – And her mood soured, he could tell by her very presence that shifted the air around the room.

-What I need is for you to control that sister of yours. – And he looked up at her from his curved position with confusion in his tone.

-Amber? Did she push you?

-All you have to do is turn a blind eye when she comes home without eyebrows – changing the topic she made calming gestures on his shoulder with her right hand, and that almost made him laugh, almost.

-You have to tell me immediately when she starts trying to pull this kind of sh- He interrupted himself when he noticed he was looking down at her. Hovering over her as she sat on the nurses table calmly with furrowed brows; he took in a deep breath with his hand rubbing his forehead. – I'm sorry, but you have to tell me, I'm her brother and who else can try to bring her to the "good side" if It's not me? - He emphasized the air comas with his fingers doing shadow bunnies on the wall next to them. Her frown did not lessen and it only lifted his mood to see this extremely short girl with a sour expression and a scrapped face, the word cute drifted in a part of his mind that he locked up and ignored, deciding to snigger at the girl in front of him instead.

-I don't understand your enthusiasm – and her tone made him burst into full laughter as he leaned the palms of his hands on either side of her body and hung his head laughing. – Seriously why – and her flat tone had him wheezing, when he finally calmed down and looked up she had the same expression and he smiled widely at her as he reflexively tried to smooth out the crease with a thumb.

-You're going to age faster if you keep doing that.

-Liar.

-Seriously you'll look like you're fifty when you turn twenty. – He saw her contain a smile and swat his hand away.

-You're so bipolar! And stop laughing at me. – She complained but the corners of her mouth insisted on curling up.

-I just know I shouldn't waste my time stressing over Ambers antics, just let Miss Shermansky deal with her. – And Sky looked up at him with a confused look on her face

-But you almost cursed a few minutes ago! And I've never heard you curse, not even when you're fighting with Castiel, your archenemy.

- She does get tend to get the best of me, but that doesn't mean I let her win. – She stared at him as he turned and saved the medical supplies they had borrowed. – Now come on! We should get to class. – She smiled politely and jumped off the table and walked after him and trough the hallway, they talked a bit before they arrived at classroom B and Sky took her regular seat between Mary Jane and Taini.

As class drawled on Alexy kept turning around in his seat to look at sky who sat behind him. -What is it? – She inched forward expecting some random piece of gossip or a good joke from her friend.

-It's just that…you're so cute, even with those scratches on your face – The shocked tone his voice carried earned him a sight rarely seen before, a blushing and stammering Sky. He contained his gasp and kept on flattering his pocket sized friend. – I mean, Rosa could totally use you as a model the next time she goes to a fashion contest.

-Totally! – Rosa's warm smile and friendly expression made their appearance at the precise moment. – I was actually going to ask you if you wanted to help me model some of my most recent creations.

-You should make a campaign Rosa! – Sky's blush spread further as her friends gossiped and Taini and Mary Jane suddenly started weighing in about the modeling business, her embarrassment halted when Armin cut in.

-You should call it "falling in fashion" – he spread his arms and made a square shape around Sky's face as he announced it and Sky burst out laughing calling him and idiot, in the good sense of course. Although Mister Faraiaze was not pleased about them gossiping all through the cold war so they ended up with extra homework to reflect upon the dangers of planning catwalks during class.

Spread through the courtyard at lunchtime the group of friends continued on with jokes and insults that weren't quite offensive when Iris and Kim walked up to them, as they joined the group Iris began pitching her idea, a school concert that would make enough money and by defect would make their principal happy and lenient, but of course the initial excitement died down when Taini discovered she'd be the one chosen to try and convince Castiel, apparently he liked her or something but by the way he acted she felt nothing close to being liked by him. Alexy offered to go with her but she insisted he go instead with Mary Jane who would have to face off against Lysander to get him to sing. – I can get my little brother to lend me his guitar and I can play too, if that helps – Iris added as they tried practicing arguments against the boys.

-And I have a friend who is selling his drum set, might lend it to me if I ask – Kim crossed her arms as the question hung in the air like flatulence in the middle of a religious ceremony, where would they find a drummer willing to play for free?, the group stayed still in an uncomfortable silence and their expressions said everything. All of a sudden Sky's face brightened and Taini who was sitting next to her was almost blinded by the sheer radiance of her excited expression.

-You got an idea? – She asked half sarcastically and half serious. She still held a doubt very deep inside of her that Sky would, good naturedly, propose her as drummer and blow their cover.

-Not at all – She turned and her face was still bright even if it looked a slightly empty, and at Tainis expression Sky pointed at the school building and made a square with her index fingers in front of her and stood up, shook the dust off her rear and walked on towards the building.

-Hey! Be careful of the perv! – She yelled after her and attracted the attention of the teens sitting with them. In the distance Sky turned to face her friends and gave them two thumbs up and proceeded to her destiny, Kim was about to turn to Taini and question her when Alexy placed his hand on her shoulder.

-That's how Thumbelina and Taini communicate, don't question it.

-Oh come on! Even Rosa could tell she's going to ask "square" over there in his council dungeon about getting permission to pull this off. – When Alexy turned to his white haired friend she shrugged and nodded.

Sky:

I thought that not being with you was the worst thing that could happen to me, but sadly…it isn't and I never thought I could feel so at ease without being close to you, physically and emotionally…but I never felt so…at peace? I'm not sure it's so…weird.

Your Ken
