Thank you to everyone who wanted me to update this story and has waited patiently for this chapter. I only hope I didn't let you all down with it since it's kind of short.

Some characters will be OOC and this story is set somewhat in an AU.

Coltea Hospital

After a few hours of waiting for news about Jesse's condition, Jaden had started to get tired but he kept himself awake so he wouldn't miss when the doctor came out. Yugi had tried various attempts to get him to sleep, assuring that he would wake him up when the doctor came, but Jaden refused. So he had to resort to letting Yami use his dark magic to cast a sleeping spell on Jaden, who is now resting his head comfortably on Yugi's shoulder.

Yami and Yugi could only hope the doctor comes out before Jaden wakes up. But first, they have a call to make, so gently slipping Jaden's head from his shoulder and laying him down on the bench they are sitting on, Yugi manages to get up and walk to the payphone just outside the hospital.

Picking up the phone, Yugi dials a certain person's cellphone number. He's not stupid. He knows without a doubt that his friends and Jaden's followed them here and must be somewhere in the city by now thanks to the help of Ishizu and her Millennium Necklace.

With the Gang

"Ughh we asked all around this town and no one has seen hide or hare of Yugi or Jaden. I mean come on! Yugi stands out in crowds like a sore thumb, and not because of his height, but his crazy hair! So how come no one saw them!?" Malik whined, tired out from searching the city.

"Calm down Malik. It's possible that they didn't escape. After all, Ishizu did only see a portion of a vision, so they could have been talking about someone else." Duke says calmly.

"I believe that is a possibility." Bastion nods, about to continue on with Duke's theory but the sound of a cellphone ringing interrupts him.

Everyone turns and looks at Kaiba, who had already answered his phone. A frown is marring his face. Whoever's on the other end of the line must not have good news. They lean closer to try and listen, but they can't make out anything the mysterious caller is saying. All they know is that the voice sounds familiar.

Once Kaiba hangs up, they all pounce, asking him question after question until he finally has enough and glares at them. Everyone instantly shuts up. They know not to test Kaiba's patience, even the Duel Academy students who had only just met him in person.

"That was Yugi. He says Jaden and him are at Coltea Hospital and Jesse is injured."

"WHAT!? HOW!?"

Kaiba glares again, making everyone back away in fright.

"I was getting there before you all interrupted me. Anyway, Yugi says that some woman with short blonde hair and red eyes stabbed Jesse with a scythe and somehow Jaden was able to transport them off the island they were on and to the city where they got directions to the hospital. There's no word on how Jesse is doing, but Yugi did say that this foe is not an ordinary one. She's more powerful than any enemy we have faced and that besides Malik and Ryou, he wants us all to go back home and he will keep us updated."

"How can he expect that we'll just leave aniki to fight this battle alone!?" Tyranno shouts.

"Yeah! Jaden helped me when I needed it so now it's my chance to return the favor." Atticus says.

All of Jaden's friends nodded in agreement. They couldn't just abandon him to face a powerful enemy alone after all he's done for them. Plus, they're worried about Jesse.

"I know how you all feel, but I think we should let the professionals handle this. They know what they're doing. Trust me. If Yugi says to leave, then you know you're no match for whatever's coming." Joey says, clasping Kaiba's hand for comfort. He doesn't like the thought of leaving Yugi out there alone to defend himself, but he knows when Yugi is serious.

"But..."

"No buts! You heard Joey. Yugi has always had good intuition, so if he says we'll just be liabilities, then we need to help him out by leaving. We can contact them by phone or have Ishizu see how they're doing." Mai says firmly, having heard the whole conversation.

Standing behind her is Ishizu, who looks way better than she did before. Malik and Odion are at her side in an instant.

"Sister! Are you okay?" Malik asks.

"I'm fine. No need to worry. You just concentrate on helping Yugi."

"What about you?"

"I have Odion to help me if I need it." Ishizu says, looking up at Odion who nods at both of them.

"Alright...but be careful."

"We should be the ones saying that to you." Serenity says, looking upset at the thought of her friends in danger.

"They'll get through this somehow. I just know it." Tristan says, trying to cheer his best friends sister up. It seems to work a little as Serenity smiles slightly.

"All right then. Now that most of us agree, let's get packing while Malik and Ryou make their way to Coltea Hospital."

"Right..." Everyone says, their moods a bit down. They're reluctant to leave their friends behind, but they know that if the King of Games is worried, then this woman is out of their league.

With Nobaru

Inhaling the air of Bucharest, Nobaru tries to locate Jaden's scent, but comes up with nothing.

"Arghh! Why did they have to be so smart and choose and big city!? There's way to many scents here it's hard to pin-point the one I'm looking for." Nobaru yells to himself, causing people to look at him strangely.

"Excuse me young man, are you lost?" The same woman who helped Yugi and Jaden locate Coltea Hospital asks.

"No, I'm looking for someone." Nobaru replies gruffly, annoyed by this human being who dares speak to him.

"Oh, maybe if you give me a description of the person, I can help."

Nobaru tosses the idea around in his head for a bit. On one hand, this lady may have seen Jaden, but does he really want to stoop so low to ask a human for help? He's the greatest hunter on earth. He should have already tracked the kid by now but noooo, human civilization just had to advance and create crowded cities with lots of different smells, so scowling in frustration, Nobaru begins to describe Jaden.

"Alright. You've forced me hand. I'm looking for a teenager who appears to be around 17 with brown hair that's spiked in the back and is wearing a red and white coat. That's all I know."

"Oh! Well isn't it lucky we ran into each other then because I just saw him with another boy that had unusual hair. There blue-haired friend was injured so they asked me for direction to a hospital."

Nobaru grins. "Oh really? I guess it is lucky then that we ran into each other. Which hospital did you suggest?"

"Coltea Hospital which is straight down this road. You can actually see it from here." The lady points down the long road bustling with cars at a giant building that most definitely screams hospital.

Nobaru smirks, turning back to the woman. "Thank you ma'am. You have been helpful. Really helpful."

"No problem dear. I suppose you must be a friend so you should go see how he's doing."

"You could say that." Nobaru starts walking away from the woman. When he's out of hearing range, he laughs manically.

"Well that was just too easy. Gullible humans."

Nobaru starts walking towards Coltea Hospital.

Coltea Hospital

After Kaiba had confirmed that Malik and Ryou were on their way and everyone else was leaving, Yugi made his way back into the hospital, finding Jaden awake and sitting up on the bench, head staring down at his hands.

Yugi quietly approaches him, gently touching him on the shoulder so as not to startle him.

Jaden looks up at Yugi. "Oh, Yugi. I thought you might have went to get something to eat or go to the bathroom since you were gone when I woke up. Sorry about that. I didn't mean to fall asleep on you."

"It's perfectly all right. You needed the rest. You were so stressed out. Anyway, the doctor didn't come out while you were sleeping and I assume by the frown on your face he still hasn't come out?"

"No..." As if by magic, the doctor comes walking up to them with a neutral face.

Jaden quickly stands up. "Is Jesse alright!?"

The doctor nods. "He lost quite a bit of blood, but it was nothing a few blood transfusions couldn't help. He's resting now if you want to go in and see him."

Unfortunately for the doctor, Jaden had rushed passed him, knocking him over in his haste to see with his own eyes that Jesse is alright.

Yugi helped the doctor up, smiling sheepishly at him.

"Sorry about him. It's just...Jesse is his best friend."

The doctor smiles. "I get it. When you work in a hospital, you see numerous reactions."

Yugi bows. "Thank you sir." He says, then walks off at a slower pace towards Jesse's room than Jaden had.

Jesse's Hospital Room

Jaden bursts into the room to see Jesse sleeping peacefully in bed, looking much less pale then he had before.

"Jesse..." Jaden says, walking towards the bed and picking up Jesse's slightly larger hand in his own. Tears start welling up in his eyes as he looks at his friend, relieved that he's alive and okay.

"I'm so glad you're okay" Jaden says, holding Jesse's hand up to his face.

"He might be fine, but you won't be once I'm done with you. But don't worry, I won't hurt you to badly. After all, I have strict orders to bring you back alive. Maybe if you be a good little boy and come with me, I won't have to hurt you."

Jaden whips around but before he can get a good glance at the person who just spoke, the man is already in front of him. Jaden screams in fright as the man grins the most evil smile besides that blonde haired woman who hurt Jesse But that's all he can make out before he feels a hand hit him on the back of his neck, knocking him out.

"This was just too easy. What a waste of my talent."

Phew. Sorry it took a very long time to update this story, but I had writer's block. Also, I'm sorry if this chapter is not the greatest. It's been a while since I've written a chapter.
