Upon opening his eyes, Issei noticed several things.

The first thing he had noticed was that he wasn't alone on his bed.

The second thing he had noticed was that there was something on top of him.

The third thing he had noticed was that thing on top of him was a woman.

The fourth thing, and probably the most important thing that he noticed was that the woman who was sleeping on top of him, and breathing onto his neck was naked.

How he could tell they were naked, and that they were a woman was because he could feel two mounds pressed against his chest, and the two small nubs, aka nipples, protruding from the said mounds.

Slowly diverting his attention from the ceiling to the person who was on top of him, Issei was able to recognize the girl on top of him immediately, for the person had black hair and cat ears.

"What is she doing here and why is she naked?" He asked himself as his eyes shifted back to the ceiling. A part of him was excited that there was a pretty girl on top of him, but there was also a part of him that was annoyed.

The reason why this part of him was annoyed, was because last night after talking with Tobio, he had spent the night trying to tell the difference between humans and supernatural creatures.

He was exhausted, and had told Kuroka and Vali that if they entered his room, he would burn their hair to a crisp, so why the hell was she in his room?

Deciding that he needed to find out why she was in his room, and more importantly why she was naked, Issei looked back down at her, and said to her. "Hey, get up."

Kuroka in response released a cute moan, which did make Issei blush, but he quickly steeled himself. He wasn't going to let her cuteness stop him from finding out about the cause of her nudeness and why she was in his room.

"Hey, get up." He repeated, this time gently shaking her.

"Mmm, but Vali..." She moaned as she nuzzled her face deeper into the crick of his chin.

At first, a smile formed across his face. The feeling of a woman's touch was warm.

However, after a few seconds of processing what she said, the pleasant smile that appeared on his face became sour.

"Vali... Does she think I'm that faggot?" He asked himself as a tic mark appeared on his forehead. "Did she come into my room thinking it's his room!?"

Needing to know the truth, Issei shook her, violently while saying to her. "Get up!"

"Nya~!" Kuroka yelped in surprise right before her head slammed into his chin which caused the two of them to release a painfilled groan. Issei's grunt wasn't because of her skull hitting his chin, it was because he bit the tip of his tongue on accident.

"Ouch." Kuroka said as she rubbed her forehead with her eyes closed. Upon opening them, she saw that person she was laying with was Issei. "Nya? What are you doing here?"

"After rubbing his chin a little, Issei looked at her and said, "What do you mean? You're in my bedroom."

"Nya~? No this is Vali's bedroom." Kuroka replied with a look that was asking if he was crazy.

"No, Vali's bedroom is across the hall." Issei declared, traces of irritation in his voice. "This is my bedroom, the one that I said don't enter unless you want to lose your hair, remember?"

At this Kuroka frowned. She could have sworn this was his bedroom.

"Huh, I guess I did enter the wrong room, my bad nya~." Kuroka said after a couple of seconds of thinking.

"I should burn your hair because you thought I was that guy." Issei stated with anger in his voice. He wouldn't have admitted it because it would be embarrassing, but he would have been happy if she wanted to sleep with him.

"Buuuuuuttttttt." Kuroka said, drawing out the word.

"But nothing, I'm simply saying that I'm thinking about it." Issei replied with a snort. If she was expecting praise from him, then she would sadly be mistaken, for he had no kind words to say to her. At least not anymore.

"Nya, we both know you wouldn't do that." Kuroka affirmed as she lowered herself back down to where their faces weren't that far apart. She had been sitting on top of him, and would have gotten off of him, but seeing that he wasn't in a good mood and contemplating burning her hair, she decided to work her magic on him.

"Try me bitch." Issei stated in a curt tone. "You mistook me for the bum that's leeching off of me."

"But are you really wanting to set my hair on fire, nya~?" Kuroka questioned as she began to draw circles on his chest with her index finger. "Over something like this?"

"You mistook me for another guy," Issei dryly said. "I think most guys would be upset if they were in my position."

"Nya~ and I'm willing to atone for the mistake," Kuroka said in a somewhat lustful tone as her hand moved up his chest to his face. Grabbing ahold of his chin, she continued to speak. "that is if you're willing to let me."

Issei showed no reaction, but in reality, he was blushing crazily.

Right when he opened his mouth to respond, his phone began to ring.

Looking to his left, Issei saw his phone on the edge of the bed about to fall off. Deciding not to waste any time, Issei grabbed it and checked to see who was calling.

It was Tobio.

Before he answered his phone, Issei sent Kuroka a look that told her to be quiet.

Taking this opportunity to get out of the mess she had acidentally got herself in, Kuroka got up off of him and climbed up out of the bed, allowing Issei to find out that she wasn't wearing any underwear.

"H-Hello," Issei said while answering it, his attention was on Kuroka's nude figure.

"... Issei, what are you doing right now?" Tobio questioned as Kuroka bent down to pick up her clothes.

"Watching something..." Issei replied, his face becoming slightly red after Kuroka sent him a smirk. He didn't realize it earlier due to him being annoyed that he had another person staying at house, but Kuroka was really pretty and really sexy.

"... I need you to stop what you're doing and head to this place that I'm sending you, immediately." Tobio ordered causing Issei to frown slightly.

"Why? What's going on?" Issei asked as he shifted his attention away from the cat girl who was slowly getting dressed.

"... A group of Fallen Angels and Devils are fighting there." Tobio stated causing Issei's eyes to widen a bit. "I would go myself, but I'm preoccupied with something, so I'm giving you this job."

"I understand, I'll get dressed and head out immediately" Issei affirmed with a nod of his head.

"... Good, and thank you." With that said, Tobio hung up on Issei.

Not long after he did this did his boss send him a text of the location.

However, upon seeing the text, Issei couldn't help from groaning and saying out loud. "You gotta be kidding me!"

The place where the fight was happening was at the school he dropped out of.

Upon arriving the school, Issei sensed a barrier and couldn't help from sighing a little.

There were two types of barriers that he needed to know about, at least from what Lavinia had told him, and those were shield barriers and bubble barriers. Shield barriers were more barriers that you would use to protect yourself and possibly others if you were strong enough, and then there were bubble barriers which would be placed to contain people.

There were different types of bubble barriers, but they were pretty basic. The only problem most people had to face was entering and exiting the bubble barrier. The reason why was because if the person was very strong, then it would be nearly impossible for people who are equivalent to two winged and four winged fallen angels to get in and out of.

"This is going to be a little annoying." Issei said aloud before looking around to make sure that no one was around. It may have been Saturday, but that didn't mean he could be careless, there was always the chance someone could be around watching him.

Once he was sure no one was around, purple flames began to coat his entire body.

"Please still be there clothes when I'm done with this. please still be there clothes when I'm done with this." Issei begged as his body was engulfed by purple flames. It may have been a while since he reduced a set of clothes to nothing but cinder, but that didn't stop him from fearing for them. After all, if he burned them, then he was going to need to get a new suit.

Now being completely covered with purple flames, Issei rubbed his hands together before placing his hands in front of him and onto the barrier.

Pouring more magic into his hands, Issei was able to see the barrier flicker. It was a gold one, and held some traces of holiness in it, which made Issei believe that it was a Fallen Angel who placed it.

It took him a few seconds, but eventually, he was able to create a hole in it large enough for him to walk through.

After stepping into the barrier, the gap that he created was closed making it look like he never entered it. He didn't want to destroy the barrier, for he didn't know the situation inside of it, and because he didn't want the chance of stray magic to hit anyone or building.

"Alright, now that I'm in here, I should probably go find the fallen-" Issei started his flames disappeared only to stop in mid-sentence due to him seeing a large crest appear in the sky above the school. It was a dark purple color, which made Issei believe that it belonged to the devils.

After a few seconds of staring at it, Issei was able to witness a massive beam come forth from it.

"That looked pretty badass." Issei confessed with a slightly awed expression. He was still new to all of this, so he couldn't help from looking at things like that.

However, he didn't stand there long. His objective was to stop the two groups from killing each other, but if it came down to it, then he was supposed to aid the group of Fallen Angels and take down the Devils. Tobio would prefer if he didn't kill them, but understood that sometimes things happen.

Placing his hands at his sides, Issei blasted off of the ground like Iron Man, and propelled himself towards where the crest in the sky had been.

Upon reaching it, Issei was greeted by the sight of several people. Three Fallen Angels who looked like they were exhausted and about to collapse any second now, and four Devils who were definitely in a better position than the fallen.

The one that he assumed to be the leader of the Fallen Angels was a male who had three pairs of angel wings. He had jet black hair and was wearing a black suit, or the remains of a suit. The right arm of his jacket was gone, which revealed his flesh, and there were a few holes in his pants. On his arm was a tattoo, a tattoo of the Grigori crest.

His two companions were both females, and had only two pairs of wings. One of them had dark purple hair, and the other one had dark blue hair. The one with purple hair wore a BDSM outfit, which was very revealing, while the one with blue hair wore a black dress. However, that dress was for sure ruined.

As for the Devil's leader, Issei believed it to be a woman who was standing in the back of the group. The reason why he believed it was her wasn't just because she was in the back. No, it was because of her outfit, and because out of the four of them she looked to be in the best condition.

She was the first one to notice him, and he couldn't help from feeling a chill go down his spine upon their eyes meeting. She was beautiful and tall, but she had pale skin, long black hair with a lock that covered her right side of her face, and midnight black eyes.

She wore a white strapless gown with a sheer slit up to the thigh on her left side, revealing a long, shapely leg ending in a pair of tall, pointed heels on each foot. On her shoulders, she wore an open-chested jacket with a collar that extends down to her arms as sleeves with frilled cuffs.

She wore a single ring on her right index finger that had a strange symbol on it, and the only other jewelry she was wearing in addition to this was a pair of small hoop earrings. She wore a long mantle that has two layers, lined with fur at the collar, it splits into an outer layer going to her hip and had the same strange symbol that was on her ring. The outer edge was gold, and there was a long blank layer that draped to her ankles.

Her chest, in addition to her white gown, was covered by a black zippered bodice, with three metal studs linking attachment strings from the left to a single stud on the right. The bodice ended just under her large breasts, which are displayed with little modesty. Majority of her cleavage was uncovered, and there was a broach on her white gown.

One of the Devils, a male who looked like he was in mid-twenties, wore something that looked like what a Roman would wear in ancient times. He wore a full suit of reddish-brown leather armor, and in each of his hands was a gladius.

The third one, a woman who also looked to be in her early twenties. She wore an icey blue dress that made her look like a princess and in right hand was a staff. She had blonde hair with sapphire blue eyes. She was indeed a beauty, but for some reason, Issei couldn't help from thinking that she was copying that one girl from Frozen.

The fourth devil and the one who was closest to the Fallen Angels was also a male, and wore an outfit that was practically identical to his male companion. Unlike him though, he wore a helmet which covered all of his facial features, and he didn't wield two short swords. Instead, he was equipped with a trident.

Not long after his eyes met with who he believed to be the leader did the other devils notice him.

Seeing that the Devil's attention had shifted from them, the group of Fallen Angels turned around and looked up to see Issei in the sky above them.

"Do you mind coming down here, young man? I don't like to shout." Called out the devil who had locked eyes with him earlier.

Issei didn't say anything, but he did comply and landed in between the Fallen Angels and the Devils.

"Thank you," The woman said with a smile, her voice was soft and gentle which made another chill go down his spine. The people who talked like this were usually always the scariest. "if I had to guess, you're that guy who's blown up, the Flaming Man."

"Uh, yeah that's me." Issei said as he scratched the back of his head. He was starting to wish that he was encased in his flames. The reason why was because it made him feel more powerful, and gave him this sense of comfort.

"I see, well, I am Irinith Valac, head of the Valac Household. This is my bishop, Edea Godspell, and these two are my knights, Pentus Octavius, and Felix Servius." The now named woman stated with a firm look as she gestured to her servants.

Seeing that she was being polite, Issei decided to show her respect. "It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, I am an Agent of the Grigori, and I was sent here by my boss to try settling this peacefully."

At this, the Fallen Angels perked up. They were on their last legs, and didn't think they could hold out much longer.

"My lady, we shouldn't bother exchanging words with this Agent. Let me deal with him." The man named Felix said as he looked at Irinith.

"I don't think he's lying," Irinith said after a few seconds of staring at Issei. "I think he's actually being honest and wants to settle this peacefully, and I'm fine with that."

"I would prefer that," Issei admitted with a chuckle.

"Good, so how do plan on compensating me?" She asked with a smile.

"Compensating?" Issei said, a little taken back that she said that.

"Yes, I may have entered the Fallen Angels' territory, but I didn't want to fight, it was that man behind you who instigated this fight, I only acted in self-defense and had my servants come forth to defend me." Irinith declared, amusement in her voice.

As Issei looked over his shoulder, the six-winged Fallen Angel spoke. "She's lying. She wasn't alone, she came here to find out about a Sacred Gear user we were ordered to watch over, and after confronting her she and her servants started attacking us."

"Do I look like the type of person who would lie?" Irinith said aloud.

"No, my lady." Her servants answered immediately.

At this, Issei frowned. Both races were known for being dishonest, so he didn't know who to believe exactly. He may have been a part of the Grigori, but Lavinia had told him that there were some members inside of it who despised the Devils, so there was a chance they could have attacked Irinith.

However, there was also a chance that she was lying. She was a Devil, and was in the Fallen Angels' territory, and if she truly didn't want to fight, then she should have just left, but that would also depend on how she was confronted. If they had just started attacking her straight up, then she of course, was in the right, but if they had approached her and had asked her to leave and she refused, then she was in the wrong.

Seeing that Issei wasn't doing anything, the Falllen Angel with blue hair said to him. "There were originally five of us, but she killed them. You should know that."

"It was in self-defense, they tried to kill me." Irinith said with a smirk that came off as sadistic one in Issei's eyes. "Are you telling me I should have done nothing?"

"You..." The Fallen Angel growled.

"I don't know which one of you are telling me the truth," Issei said with a sigh as he looked at both groups. "but if you truly want to end this peacefully, then please leave the area. I'm not saying you're in the wrong Irinith, but I'm-"

"It's Lady Irinith to you, and who do you think you are making demands like that, human?" Felix interrupted causing Issei to fall silent.

"Felix, that's enough." Irinith said with a bit of irritation in her voice.

"But my lady-"

"Right now he hasn't shown me any disrespect, so there's no reason for you to be disrespectful to him." Irinith firmly stated as she glared at her knight.

"I-I understand, my lady." Felix said as he looked down at the ground.

"Apologies Agent of the Grigori, Felix can sometimes be like that, continue." Irinith said with an apologetic look.

"Right, I'm not saying you're in the wrong Lady Irinith, but you're in the Grigori's territory. If you refuse to leave, then I'll have no choice, but to fight you, and I honestly would prefer not fighting you or your servants." Issei wasn't being completely honest there, in reality, he wouldn't mind getting into a fight against the Devils due to him being curious about what kind of powers they held, but because Tobio wanted him to try ending it peacefully, he was going to try doing that.

"Did you not hear her earlier?" The purple haired Fallen Angel questioned causing Issei to look at her and see her glaring at him. "She killed two members of the Grigori! She and her servants need to pay for what they did! You under-"

"I'm sorry that your friends died." Issei interrupted, traces of sincerity in his voice. "However, my boss doesn't want a war to happen. If I attack them and kill them, then the Devils might declare war on the Grigori, and that is something he doesn't want."

"You're assuming that you can kill us." Spoke Pentus in a curt manner which made him turn back around to face them.

"That's why I said if." Issei replied, latched to his voice was a bit of irritation. He was starting to get tired of these people interrupting him and looking down on him.

Irinith, who had so far been quiet, couldn't help from smiling upon hearing this. When she had first saw him, she was expecting him to be some snarky kid, but so far he had been very respectful towards her. Instead of demanding her to leave the area, or taking the Fallen Angels' side, he decided to be neutral and try resolving this peacefully. Which was something she slightly admired.

"You're a strange boy, Agent of the Grigori." Irinith stated, traces of amusement in her voice.

"Uh, thanks?" Issei replied in a questioning manner. Not exactly sure if she was praising him or not.

"You're welcome, and since you've been kind and respectful, I shall listen to your request and withdraw." She declared, shocking not only her servants, but the members of the Grigori.

"You will?" Issei said in surprise.

"Yes, but I do have a request of my own." Irinith stated, her servants had looked at her with surprise and were practically demanding her to explain why they were withdrawing, but she ignored their pleading looks.

"What is your request?" Issei asked inquisitively.

"I would like to know you're name." Irinith announced, a smile written on her face.

"My name?" Issei said with a small frown.

"Yes," She affirmed. "or is that too much?"

"No, it's not that big of a deal, but..." Issei trailed off, he didn't know why, but for some reason, a part of him was telling him not to reveal it.

"But?" She asked with a curious look.

"Nevermind, I'll tell you it since you're complying," Issei said after a few seconds of silence. "my name is Issei, Iseei Hyoudou."

"Issei," She repeated with a fond smile. "it's a lovely name, and I'll be sure to remember it."

With that said two bats like wings sprung forth from her back and she took off to sky. "We'll be taking our leave now. I apologize for what has happened here, Issei."

"It's fine..." Issei said with a bit of reluctance. He didn't know why, but he felt like he had made a mistake by telling her name.

Having no more words to say to the boy, Irinith flew away. Not long after she did this did her servants follow her, leaving Issei alone with the Fallen Angels.

Releasing a sigh, he turned around to face the Fallen Angels, only to be met with the sight of angry looks.

"This is going to be a long day..."

"My lady, why did we leave?" Felix demanded in an agitated tone as he stepped out of the magic circle. "The Fallen Angels were weak, we could have made short work of them and then dealt with the boy. I don't understand why we retreated."

"Isn't it obvious?" Irinith said aloud as Pentus took off his helmet. His hair was grizzled, and he had a scar on the left side of his lip.

"My lady, if you don't have any more need for me, I'm going to return to my room." Edea said in a slightly exhausted tone. "That battle was somewhat tiresome."

"I don't, Edeah, sleep well." Irinith said as she looked at her bishop.

"If it's alright with you, my lady, I would like to return to my room as well. I didn't get much sleep, so I'd like to take a nap." Pentus stated as he looked at his King.

"That's fine, if I have need of you, I'll summon you again." Irinith replied with a small smile.

With that said both peerage members left the room, leaving Felix and Irinith alone in it.

"And to answer your question, my lady. No, it's not obvious." Felix said after a few seconds of silence.

"It's because I'm interested in him." Irinith said before walking down the hall towards her throne room.

"What?" Felix said, completely taken back by her response. "Are you no longer interested in the man I scouted out for you?"

"No, I would still like to recruit that man, I'm just saying that Issei interests me more, and I would prefer him more." Irinith confessed as the two devils who stood guard before the throne room opened the door for her.

"Is it because of his Sacred Gear?" Felix questioned as he entered the room right behind her.

"Incinerate Anthem would be an interesting Sacred Gear to have at my disposal, but that's not what made me want him to be a part of my peerage. He simply just intrigues me." Irinith stated as she walked up the three steps that led to her throne and sat down in it.

"I-I see," Felix said with a small frown. He was a little annoyed that his King was more interested in some nobody in the Grigori then the man he scouted out, but wasn't going to voice his thoughts on the matter.

Seeing Felix's frown did upset Irinith, but she wasn't going to talking anymore about it with him. It was a simple matter, Issei fascinated her, and she wanted to recruit him into her peerage. There was nothing more to it.

"If you have no more need of me, I'm going to return to my room, my lady." Felix said after several seconds of silence.

"I don't, but could you go and fetch my Queen? I have an assignment for her." Irinith requested with a small smirk.

"Of course, my lady." Felix said in response before turning around and heading towards the large double doors that he entered from earlier.

As Felix exited the room, Irinith released a sigh. "I'm looking forward to our next meeting, Issei Hyoudou."

(Revan's AN): As I said in the first AN, I'm sorry if this one wasn't as good, it might have just been me, but I thought this could have been better, unfortunately, after writing multiple scenarios I found this one to be the best and went with it. If you liked it, that's great, if you hated it, I apologize, but I did try. With that said, I'm taking my leave. Oh, and it looks like I wasn't able to keep my promise, I said I'd do 5k plus worlds, but I only got to like 4,871 words.
