The Caretakers: Controls

Bayverse-Inspired by Fealion's story "Incarnation of Cybertron." OC Story. S7 employed the brightest minds available. Their entire focus was to understand, harness, and-if possible-replicate the strange, otherworldly artifacts under the Sector's control. But not all of the scientists were devoid of emotion. Dr Ralene Clark was one of those who cared about the cube's creations.

11. Author's Message

Hey all!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I haven't abandoned this story. There have just been a butt-load of things going on in my life since the last time Caretakers: Controls was updated. To summarize:

1) Lost my home due to my father's failings and became homeless

2) Was able to stay in a friend's attic with my dog, (who's still there by himself at the moment,)

3) Tried to move across the country only to have the housing issue fall through at the last minute (as in, I was literally on the front steps of the management office with most of my belongings in tow only to be told my employer never paid them what they told me they would.)

4) Had to come back to try and regroup only to be told the full time job I had when I left was lost, and the part time job was cutting my hours even more

5) Had to move in with my mom due to health issues that has put her in the hospital several times, including on life support twice in the last month

6) Finally, no longer have a full-time job due to several health issues that are coming up and still remain homeless except for the fact I'm still staying with my mom to act as her care-taker.

Hopefully, all of the stress that has been muddying the waters as of late will begin to abate shortly, I'll be able to find a full-time job that I enjoy and can return to writing with a vengeance. I promise, there are still ideas buzzing around in my head that are itching to get out, and I am planning to make a cohesive story out of them as soon as my time is not quite so scheduled.
