Hi!

42 reviews! Thank you sooo much! And FoodForTheImagination and Zadel, you just made my day! I'd personally go to Japan to kill Hiro Mashima if he doesn't make NaLu come true! :) Anyway, here's a new chapter. It's in Natsu's POV. I think it's so cute when Natsu thinks about Lucy and uses "Luce" even in his head. It's sooo cute, ne? I hope you like it and sorry for the grammar mistakes!

DISCLAIMER: (I forgot it a lot of times, oops) I do not own Fairy Tail or its character, Hiro Mashima does.

Chapter 11 Playdate

I was waiting in front of the large front doors of the Heartfilia residence when Luce opened the door. She wore a simple pink dress which ended just above her knees, and Plue was held tightly between her arms, which were pressed just under her chest. Her hair was loose, with a small side pony tail. She looked gorgeous. A blush covered my cheeks and I averted my gaze. I had never seen her in other clothes than her school uniform. She was beautiful. She gave me a small smile and I could sense her nervousness.

"Hey, Luce," I greeted.

"Hey, Natsu," she laughed. We started walking towards my house. It was silent, but the silence was comfortable. I noticed that she was shivering.

"Why didn't you bring a jacket?"

"I... I forgot." She blushed and I chuckled. She was so cute. I looked down at her knee-length dress.

"Why would you wear a dress when the weather's like this?" I asked, oblivious to the hurt that flashed across her face.

"I... uhm..." Her uneasiness made me look at her. I could see disappointment in her eyes and I repeated what I just said in my head.

"N-no! I didn't mean it like that! You look beautiful!" BAKA! A dark blush covered my cheeks. Luce laughed.

"Thank you, Natsu." She looked up at me, her eyes closed because of her grin, her cheeks tinted pink. My blush intensified. "I have to look presentable, don't I?" Her smile disappeared and she looked ahead of us nervously.

"It's not like you're going to meet the president or something, It's just my parents."

"That's exactly it." I shrugged. "I have never met anyone's parents besides the one my parents had contact with," she confessed. I actually had never brought a girl home. True, the whole gang had visited a few times, but that's different. Lisanna and Mira had come by too, but they didn't really come in and I never really introduced them to my parents. I wrapped my scarf around her neck after seeing her shiver again and she looked up at me with worried eyes. I shrugged. I had Always had unnormal body heat.

"I have never properly introduced someone to my parents, so you don't have to worry. You can't do anything wrong, they're probably too excited."

She gulped. "That really calmed the nerves."

"Good!"

"That was sarcastic, dummy." I blinked a few times.

"Oh..." She started laughing. Surprisingly, I found myself really liking the sound of her laugh. I decided that if I had to embarass myself to make her smile, that's exactly what I would do.

"Oh my! Natsu finally brought a girl home!" Mom opened the door and she clapped her hands together. Her eyes started shining when she looked at Luce.

"You're so pretty! I never thought Natsu could lay his hands on a such a beautiful girl," she eyed me suspiciously. "What did you do to her to make her come with you?"

"Hey!" I yelled. Luce giggled. Mom's attention went to her.

"Good evening, Mrs. Dragneel. My name is Lucy Heartfilia. It's a pleasure to meet you." Lucy reached her hand out and mom eagerly shook it. "And such manners. Natsu could learn a thing or two from you! My name is Grandine. You are just perfect for him!" She started squealing. Lucy blushed a deep shade of red.

"I-It's not like that," she stuttered. I had no idea what she was talking about. I was about to ask what wasn't like what when mom called my dad.

"Igneel! Natsu's girl is here!" My girl?

"Ehm, Mrs. Dragneel, Natsu and I are not-"

"You can call me auntie, dear," What the hell were they talking about? Dad appeared, an excited grin spread across his face.

"Yo! I'm Natsu's dad. Wow, you sure are something, aren't you." The old geezer winked at Luce, who shifted uncomfortably under all the attention.

"I can already picture the wedding! Lucy, you would look so beautiful, and if Natsu dressed nice for once, he would be so handsome and.." She started rambling and I finally got what they were all talking about.

"Mom! Dad!" They both stopped talking and fixated their attention on me. "It's not like that!"

"W-we're just f-friends" Luce added, her face was redder than Erza's hair by now. Both their faces fell in disappointment.

"Oh" Mom muttered, before pouting. "Sure? You are just too cute together!" her eyes started shimmering again. I sighed.

"Yeah, we're sure. Now could we please enter? Luce is cold."

"He even has a nickname for her!" Mom yelled. She grabbed Luce's hand. "Keep a close eye on him, okay?" She said before running to the kitchen. Dad grabbed my arm when I passed.

"She's a keeper." He winked at me.

After I gave Luce a tour, we went to my bedroom. She seemed to like the house. I went straight to my bed and plopped down.

"How can you live like this? You're a pig!" She said, while walking around dirty clothes and papers which were tossed everywhere. The whole room was covered and there were barely a few spots clean.

"It's not that messy." She shot me a glare and I quickly shut my mouth. I didn't know she could be that scary.. she's almost as scary as Erza! She sat down next to me.

"Sorry 'bout my parents, they are a little...exuberantly," I apologized. She smiled brightly at me.

"I like them." I could tell that her smile was real, and I felt the corners of my mouth lifting too.

"Aye.." A scratch was heard on the door and Luce jolted from the bed.

"Wh-what was that?" she asked.

"Aye..aye"

I walked over to the door and opened it. A blue cat quickly shot into the room, but not before scratching my leg lightly. I cursed.

"Sorry, Happy."

"Aye!"

Luce looked at the cat in horror.

"I-i-it's blue!" She exclaimed, wavering her free hand in the air. "Did you dye his fur? That's horrible. Oh my god! Natsu, what did you do?!" offended, I raised my hands defensively. "I didn't do anything. He has Always been this way!" That seemed to calm her a bit.

"Oh, oh really." She giggled. "Sorry. You have pink hair, Happy's fur is blue. What's with you and unnatural hair colours?"

"It's salmon!"

"It's so pink"

"Salmon!"

"Pink!"

"Salmon!"

"Pink!"

"Salmon!"

"Pink!"

"Aye!"

"See?! Happy agrees with me!" Happy jumped into Lucy's lap and nuzzled in between her breasts. I felt a pang of jealousy. What the hell? I am NOT jealous of a cat!

...

Well, maybe a little AH! Damnit, Natsu! Lucy petted Happy's ear and he began to purr loudly. Yup, definitely jealous.

"Aye!"

"What's up with the weird "aye"?" Lucy asked.

I shrugged. "That's his 'meow'" Luce giggled. Suddenly, Plue, who was still on Lucy's other arm, began sniffing Happy. They both jumped out of Luce's arms (and stay out of her arms!) and walked out of the room. Luce looked at them in bewilderment.

"Whaa! Plue!"

"Relax," I waved my hand in the air in an uncaring manner. "They're probably gonna have some fun." Luce looked at me horriefiedly.

"F-f-f-f-fun?" She stuttered.

"No! I didn't mean it like that! J-just playing!" I blushed a dark sheed of red.

"Geez, what's going on in that head of yours?" She laughed, I watched her carefully, let the sound ring in my ears.

"I like your laugh." I said and she fixated her gaze on me. A bright smile appeared on her face, her cheeks tinted pink. Her smile was as warm as the sun and as bright as the stars. I hadn't seen her smile like that since I met her. Her smile was beautiful.

"You should do it more often."

"Do what?" She asked.

"Smile like that" And she did it again. My heart skipped a beat. Why does my face feel so hot?

"I will." She promised and I grinned back.

"Now, let's watch a movie!" I said happily. and we spent the rest of the night chatting and watching movies, before I brought her home together with Plue, who had become good friends with happy. I couldn't stop smiling all the way home. Luce had been so happy tonight. I hadn't seen her sad once (and believe me, I kept a close eye on her, especially when my parents were around.) It's a pity that Wendy wasn't home tonight, Luce would've loved her. She was smiling and laughing all the time. And I loved that Luce. Wait... love? Do I love Lucy? Her face appeared in my mind. They way her golden hair waved in the wind, the way her brown eyes sparkled when she was excited, the way her eyes closed when she laughed really hard, her somewhat perverted mind, but her innocent attitude, her jokes, her cheeks which I loved to pinch, her lips, her hands which felt so right in mine, her forehead, her ears, everything. But mostly her eyes. Those beautiful, chocolate brown eyes which could shine so brightly even though they held so much grief. I had never loved anyone in a romantic way. Of course, I cared about my family and friends, but this was different. Even though I had never experienced it, I was very sure about the feeling I had when I was with her. It couldn't be anything else, and it felt so right. No doubt about it. With a burning face and a racing heart, I looked up at the stars, the stars that Luce loved so much.

I was in love with Lucy Heartfilia

YAAAAAYYY! Natsu realized his feelings! Yayayayayya! NaLu forever! *cough cough* Sorry, I had a fangirl moment :) Next chapter, you will get to see Lucy's opinion of the Dragneel family and she will meet Wendy! I kind of have the big (reeeaaally big) lines of the story in my head, but I can't tell how many chapters it are going to be. I don't think we're halway through, though. Anyway, I hope you liked it and please review! I think the next chapter will be kinda long.

Please fav, follow and review. I love your comments! You guys are amazing!
