Watanuki was running, and running, and running. "What am I running away from?" He thought. "Why and I running?"

There are multiple things that one can run away from. Fear, fights, worries, sickness, emotions… feelings.

Suddenly, Watanuki stopped running. Feelings? What feelings? Feelings for who?

"For Domeki, of course."

Watanuki opened his eyes once more and saw a shadow of a figure standing in front of him.

"Who are you?"

"You'll find out soon. I've come to help you."

"Help me with what?"

"Find out what you are blocking, hiding, keeping secure." The shadow walked to Watanuki and sat down beside him. "Okay, now let's start. Who makes you the angriest?"

"Domeki."

"Who tells you to do things that you don't exactly want to do?" The voice chuckled.

"Domeki, of course. Every time."

"Who has told you that they cared for you?"

"Domeki, and Himawari."

"Who was your first kiss?" The voice faltered for a second.

"… Domeki."

"Who was the person that was there for you even though they weren't at first?"

"Domeki." Watanuki's voice started to waver, full of emotion.

"Who recently laid their feelings out to you?"

"D… Domeki."

"Who makes your heart beat faster when they're around?"

"Dome… ki."

"Who are you in love with?"

Watanuki didn't answer. He couldn't see anything, his eyes full of tears. His mind flashed back to all of those times Domeki was so kind to him, so gentle, so loving, and caring. Watanuki wanted to feel that warmth once again. So much that his heart started to beat faster, aching, crying out.

"Let me rephrase this: Who do you want to see right now?"

"Domeki…" Watanuki's hands started shaking. He wiped this tears and stood up, along with the shadow. "I want to see Domeki."

"That's the correct answer." The shadow started to take form, revealing Watanuki's face. His right eye was gold and his hair slightly longer. This Watanuki was wearing one of Yuuko's kimonos, holding a pipe in one of his hands.

"Who… are you…?"

"One day, you will find out. At that time, you will have an answer. But my job was just helping you find out your feelings to Domeki." The Watanuki smiled. "It's nostalgic, talking to you like this. But I can't say anything more. Open your eyes, Kimihiro. The number one person you want to see, but still hate at the same time will be there." This Watanuki chuckled a bit, his face getting a little sad.

"Now, open your eyes."

Watanuki slowly opened his eyes. He took a deep breath as he tried sitting up. He frowned when he felt a heavy weight on his waist and looked down. His heart jumped when he saw Domeki sitting next to the futon, sleeping.

Watanuki slowly reached out his hand to touch Domeki's hair. As he felt the first few strands, a huge wave of relief washed over him. He sighed and ran his hand lightly over Domeki's hair. When Domeki didn't wake up, Watanuki smacked his head. Domeki jumped and quickly sat up, seeing Watanuki.

"Ow…" Domeki muttered, rubbing the back of his head. "What was that for?"

"Why are you sleeping on me?" Watanuki asked. "I am an injured person! You cannot bother an injured person!"

"You're going on about useless stuff again…" Domeki said, scooting himself closer to the futon.

"What do you mean 'useless stuff'?!" Watanuki yelled, shaking his fist. "I feel like I'm in an infirmary! Where am I anyways?"

"Yuuko's shop, duh."

"Why are you here?" Watanuki asked, crossing his arms and turning away. He knew the answer already, he just wanted to hear it. He wanted to feel the warmth.

Watanuki jumped when he felt long arms wrap around him. Domeki pulled Watanuki's back flush against his torso. Watanuki tried to push Domeki's arms away from him but failed, remembering how strong the tall man was.

"What?" Watanuki sighed. "Were you scared?"

Domeki didn't say anything else and just hugged tighter. Watanuki turned himself so that he was facing Domeki. Domeki had his head down, arms still wrapped around Watanuki's waist. Watanuki brought his hands up to Domeki's face and lifted his face up.

"I was," Domeki said, bringing one hand up to grip Watanuki's, closing his eyes and leaning his head into the hand. "Seeing that big crow carry you away was scary. When I saw you in that darkness, I thought you were dead."

"But if you look carefully, I'm fine." Watanuki paused for a second. "Wait, I was bleeding and bruised on my side…" He lifted up the side of his shirt and looked at the fading bruise near his ribs. "How long was I sleeping?"

"Two days…" Domeki muttered, looking down at the fading bruise. He reached over to the bruise and lightly tread his fingers over it. Watanuki shivered as the pads of Domeki's fingers ghosted over his side.

"Does it hurt?" He asked, stopping his fingers. Watanuki shook his head.

"I'm fine. What about my knee?"

"I think that one is almost healed too." Domeki muttered, enclosing Watanuki's hand in his. "I haven't said your name in a while, you know." He leaned forward and rested his head on Watanuki's shoulder.

"What's with the sudden subject change?" Watanuki chuckled, squeezing Domeki's hand.

"I have to tell you something…" Domeki muttered. "You know how I'm going to inherit the temple after college, right?"

"Yeah?"

"Well-" Suddenly the door opened and Mokona quickly hopped inside.

"WA~TANUKI!" The creature cried, jumping onto Watanuki's head. "You're alright!"

Watanuki cried out as Mokona jumped onto his head. He growled and pulled the black bean bun off of him. "What the hell was that for?!" He yelled, throwing Mokona at the wall. He looked at the door and saw Yuuko standing at the entrance. "…Yuuko-san…"

"You look like you're well, Watanuki." Yuuko smiled, she glanced at Domeki who was sitting close to Watanuki. A small sly smile appeared on her mouth. "Oh…? Did I interrupt something?"

"Wha- What do you-" Watanuki started, his face getting warm. Domeki stood up and shook his head.

"No, you didn't." He walked to the door and looked back. "I'll leave you guys to talk for a while."

"Ah- Domeki," Watanuki said, reaching out his hand. But Domeki had closed the door. Watanuki turned to Yuuko. "What's wrong with him?"

"There seems to be something troubling him, hmm?" Yuuko said, looking at the door. "I wonder how he'll handle it."

"Handle what?" Watanuki asked, trying to stand up.

Yuuko turned her attention to Watanuki. "So? What decision did you come to?" Watanuki snapped his head up, seeing the look in Yuuko's eyes.

He sighed, ruffling his hair. "Can I ask you something?" Yuuko nodded. "What did you do to the woman's baby?"

Yuuko frowned, pursing her lips a bit. "It was born sick." She started, walking to the cabinet at the corner. "It's not unusual for one's familiar to fall in love with their owner. But for them to have a child is dangerous."

"What was her wish?"

"To end the baby's suffering." Yuuko whispered. "To end one's suffering can mean multiple things. Heal them or kill them. There was no exact cure for the child's misery. Like I said, having a child made from human and familiar is risky.

"She blamed you for a wish she made?" Watanuki asked. Something clicked in Watanuki and suddenly a small amount of knowledge entered his mind. "Was the price her uterus?"

Yuuko nodded. "To be able to 'end the child's suffering' I had to remove the very thing that created the child."

"An eye for an eye; that's how your prices work." Watanuki sighed, standing up. Yuuko looked at him and held out a hand. Watanuki suspiciously took it.

"Don't look at me like that; now the tea should be ready." Yuuko cheerfully said, skipping out of the room with Mokona on her back. Watanuki shook his head as he watched her go out the room. He bent down and took his glasses from the floor, putting them on.

He stood in the middle of the room, thinking back to his dream. The words he said were in fact, his true feelings; it was stupid that he now just realized. But Watanuki was stupid, and so is Domeki.

"I won't tell him yet." Watanuki thought. "He's an idiot. I told myself that I just want to see him. I don't think I love him like he loves me."

A knock sounded on the door, interrupting Watanuki from his thoughts. He turned around, seeing Domeki standing at the entrance. "W-what?"

"What are you doing?"

"Uh… I don't know myself."

Domeki chuckled and shook his head. "You're an idiot." Watanuki's heart jumped. "Hurry up, there's someone that wants to talk to you." Domeki held his hand out, waiting for Watanuki to take it.

Watanuki quickly went through the possibilities in his head and picked the one that seemed more like him. He frowned at Domeki's hand and walked past him. "Who would take your hand, idiot?" He said as he walked past Domeki. A small smile twitched on Watanuki's face as he didn't hear anything from Domeki.

(Domeki will be really OOC here, sorry. I feel like you guys need fluff.)

But what he didn't know was that Domeki knew that Watanuki was going to do that. He grabbed Watanuki's wrist and slammed his back on the wall, wiping Watanuki's smirk off of his face. Watanuki squeezed his eyes closed at the impact. He opened them and held his breath, seeing Domeki's face right in front of his.

"What the hell are you doing?!" He yelled, trying to move his arms away from Domeki's grip. Domeki had pinned Watanuki's hands over his head on the wall behind him, making it impossible to move.

"…name." Domeki muttered, resting his head on Watanuki's shoulder.

"Huh?!"

"Let me say your name." Watanuki heard him mutter. Watanuki frowned.

"Why are you worrying over that?" He muttered. "I didn't say anything when I let you say my name, did I?"

Domeki let go of the megane's wrists and wrapped his arms around Watanuki's waist. Before he can say anything, loud clapping was heard nearby.

"Okay, now!" Domeki looked up and Watanuki turned his head. Tsukishima was standing there hands pressed together. Domeki let go of Watanuki and moved back. Tsukishima glanced at Domeki and chuckled, walking back into the room. "Sorry, but Rairen is getting impatient. Hurry up with your flirting."

"Wha- What's sensei doing here?" Watanuki asked, looking at Domeki and sighing. "You're worrying over nothing."

"Then come here, Kimihiro." Domeki said, holding a hand out. "Kimihiro."

Watanuki took a couple of steps and was pulled again into Domeki's embrace.

"I love you." Domeki sighed into Watanuki's ear.

"I know." Watanuki said back. "Sorry to have worried you."

"Oi! Stop flirting already!" Rairen's voice called. Watanuki tensed when he heard the voice, memories resurfacing.

"Don't worry, she's just getting drunk on sake." Domeki frowned, taking Watanuki's hand. "She won't hurt you."

Watanuki pulled his hand away from Domeki's and sighed. "You feel better now, right? Let's just go." He turned and walked to the main room, but not before Domeki saw the tips of his ears were red. Domeki shook his head, a smirk appearing on his face, he followed Watanuki.

"I want to say something before me and Kazuo leave." A drunk Rairen slurred as Tsukishima helped her stand up. "Watanuki-kun, I'm sorry for including you in something that I stupidly brooded over for years."

"I'm sorry, too." Tsukishima said to Watanuki. "To all three of you."

"Don't worry about it, sensei, Rairen-san." Watanuki said waving his hands. "Since you told me everything, I understand."

"Rairen, why won't you rest in your room?" Tsukishima said, taking out an ofuda from his pocket. Rairen nodded slowly, patting Tsukishima's cheek. He pressed the ofuda to Rairen's forehead and she disappeared.

He looked up at Watanuki and said "She never really gets that drunk unless she feels really bad about her past actions."

"Well, why won't you go home now, Kazuo?" Yuuko said, taking a sip of tea. "It's getting late, don't you have a class to prepare for tomorrow?"

"Yeah," Tsukishima muttered, scratching his head. He looked at the two students. "I'll excuse you two for not being in class tomorrow. You both need rest after what happened."

"I'll accompany you to the door," Yuuko said, standing up. "I need to properly apologize too."

The two walked out of the room, leaving Domeki and Watanuki alone. Watanuki was starting to nod off, jolting awake when he felt himself falling. He rubbed his eyes and stood up, gathering the plates.

"I have to clean this up before I go home…" Watanuki muttered, slowly moving his hands.

"You don't have to." Domeki said, not moving from his spot on the mat. "I can do it later,"

"I need to do something normal before I go crazy." He slurred, falling back, exhausted.

Before Domeki could reach him, Watanuki fell against Yuuko, who caught him. She smiled fondly at the sleeping boy and lifted her gaze to Domeki.

"Why won't you take him to bed? You can clean this mess in the morning." Yuuko said. Domeki nodded and lifted Watanuki up, wrapping his arms around Watanuki's legs and shoulders.

"Good night, Domeki-kun." Yuuko whispered, walking down the hall.
