Hades didn't expect a civil breakfast between the three of them but he still laid it all out like they were still all going to eat together regardless. They were parents soon; it was going to have to be civilized.

And if he had to keep having to set out breakfast and try to ensure they were all going to do this peacefully, he was going to do it until the humans were trained!

How was he going to raise a baby otherwise? She'd be in constant flux if her parents all contradicted each other, he had to remind them they were once living in castles and playing the games that royals play, which meant they had to learn some manners.

Even the Dark One had to learn manners when he played the games, so now he'd trotted off to the world without magic and had forgotten, much like Belle had.

Well she had an excuse he supposed, being locked up for 32 years did really didn't do the princess any favors.

Still, she should know the basics.

So, he still set out food for every day, and he tried to endure the temper tantrums of the squabbling humans as they all fought over this baby that Zeus in all his joke of a wisdom had burdened them all with.

Well not burdened, he supposed he could take care of a baby. It was the other parents that were going to be a burden. Somehow, he felt they were going to be more immature than the child all of them were going to try to raise

Best get them trained now.

But to his surprise, for once, the humans in his care both came down together and seemingly closer than they had been since this entire farce was struck up. He watched in near awe as Belle took her napkin and put it in her lap. Rumpelstiltskin kissed the top of her head and went to sit on the other side, he tucked the napkin in to his shirt.

"Let's eat," Rumple said simply.

The rest of the morning was spent in a similar baffling manner. They all took a walk together around town. Rumple didn't hold Belle's hand but he was protectively close to her.

Hades was on the other side with Graham following closely in the background.

Hades watched Belle's dismay as everyone gave them plenty of space as they passed by, he saw some loneliness in her eyes and Rumpelstiltskin seemed to sense that. His hand went on the small of her back.

And Hades missed Zelena.

"Oh, it's a market," Belle said brightly and took off towards it.

"Darling, be careful," Rumple went to follow after her, "It's not safe."

"Of course, it's going to be safe, both of you are going to be with me."

But Hades had seen it all before, without a word, he signaled for Graham to keep up with the happy couple.

They didn't seem to notice his absence but Hades hardly cared, he was going to go home and go back to bed It'd been a long few months, and now that some of the tension was gone, he was going to get caught up on sleep.

If he was there, then he might've prevented what happened that afternoon.
