So hi guys! Sorry it took so long I've been a little busy. Plus my computer has been down. So in any case Enjoy! ;)

Chapter XI

Aria

The First Nome had a dangerous feeling to it. Not only the fact that I was suddenly in Egypt, but that I had apparently been living here for the past three years. I had been found wondering around the desert. No one knew who I was or where I came from all they had known was that I needed help.

I was surrounded the instant I stepped over the threshold. I instinctively put up my arm up when one of them jabbed at me. There was a sudden burst of light and a bracelet appeared on my wrist. It wasn't anything special, just a silver chain with several charms attached to it. The one that caught my attention was the Egyptian Per Ankh with a small snake wrapped around it. It was pulsing with a slight blue light.

"Aria?" A voice asked.

I turned around coming to face a girl a little younger than me maybe by a year or two. Her shoulder length black hair tumbled about her shoulders she wore a set of bright red robes laced with a gold ribbon. Her brown eyes sparkled with energy, her name came immediately to mind.

"Hello Zia." I said cheerfully.

She sighed and smiled throwing her arms around me.

"God where have you been?" She whispered.

I shook my head. "You would kill me if I told you."

"Yes, she would." A separate voice interrupted.

I froze turning slowly around. The face came back instantly. I definitely remembered him as the man who had sentenced me to kitchen duty.

"Tantalus." I said with distaste.

"See you made it off Long Island okay."

My stomach clenched. Something told me the Egyptians were not ready to know about Camp Half Blood.

"Come on," Zia said interrupting our staring contest, "Iskandar will want to know you're safe."

Once we were a safe distance away I told Zia about loosing my memory, and running into Jaz.

After I explained things to Iskandar I asked Zia if she could explain my life to me.

She frowned telling me how weird it felt telling someone their own life's story but complied.

The first day I met her she had found me wandering around the desert mumbling about insane Dirt Ladies. She had researched the topic but found nothing. It was weeks before I told her what happened.

As she started to explain I fell over onto the ground and lost consciousness.

You will never know of your past...

The words hung in the air like a threat. I was frozen in the dark for what seemed like years. That was before the pain started. My head ached leaving a strange taste in my mouth. My forehead burned like acid was being painted on it. I cried out in pain, falling onto the inky black ground. I felt a stabbing pain run through my body like a knife in my back. My breath quickened, then I started hearing the voices.

All hail Aria...

All hail Aria...

All hail Aria...

The mocking voices continued. Planting themselves in my mind.

All hail Aria master of her own fate...

I cried out again as the pain intensified.

...

"Aria!" Zia shook my shoulder.

I shot awake gasping.

"Percy," I mumbled, "Tyson, Annabeth, Danger."

"What?" Zia asked.

"Zia I need a portal!"

She stared at me then nodded.

I explained my plan.

"The sphinxes."She suggested.

I winced at the name. Then regained my composure.

I nodded and took off towards the replica of the Spinx. I reached it and started chanting.

Before long a swirling portal of sand appeared in front of me. I turned and gave Zia my signature two finger salute then dove into the portal.

I tumbled out of the portal and onto the ground at CC's spa. I stood up and looked around, even though I'd been here once before the sight was still amazing. I turned in a circle to take in everything. The entire resort was white marble with shimmering blue water.

I looked down the path I stood on Percy and Annabeth were walking towards me. Just Percy and Annabeth.

My stomach clenched I was too late, Tyson was gone.

...

Percy

I was still trying to process everything when I saw a familiar figure walking towards us. Aria was covered head to toe in sand her long brown hair held most of it but her clothes had some to. She held a long staff in one hand and a boomerang in the other. she saw me staring and gave me an "I'll explain later" look and put them both back in her bag.

Annabeth saw her and stormed up to her furiously. "Aria where were you!"

A smile spread across Aria's face confusing Annabeth into silence.

She shook the sand out of her hair and addressed the clipboard lady. "This is my second time at the spa, Class two arrival."

The woman nodded and jotted a few notes down on the paper and her smile returned.

"Follow me please."

We continued to walk through the spa. I kept bombarding Aria with questions, but after she wouldn't answer my two hundred and twenty third I gave up.

As we walked up some stairs I heard a voice singing drifting towards me. I felt as though I was being lifted off my feet and pulled towards the voice. I needed to see the owner. She sang of olive tree groves, a moonlit valley, and magic something about magic.

We came into a room and all I could say was, "wow."

The front wall was all windows and the back wall was covered in mirrors so the room seemed to go on forever. The singing came form a woman who sat in front of a loom the size of a big screen T.V. The image on the loom was of a waterfall I could swear the water was falling and the clouds were drifting across the blue sky. It was-

"It's beautiful!" Annabeth gasped.

The woman turned and she was even more beautiful than her creation. Her dark brown hair was braided with gold, she had piercing green eyes and wore a black sleeveless dress with moving shapes of shadows of animals, trees, clouds.

"You appreciate weaving my dear?"

Annabeth's face lit up. "Oh yes ma-am my mother is!-" She stopped herself. You couldn't just go around telling people your mother was Athena. The goddess that invented the loom, most people would lock you in a rubber room.

Our hostess just smiled. "You have good taste my dear. I'm so glad you have come. My name is C,C."

We introduced ourselves to C,C she looked me over with a twinge of disapproval. I immediately felt bad, for some reason I really wanted to please her.

"Oh dear," she sighed, "you do need my help."

"Ma-am?"

Then she turned and noticed Aria for the first time. Her eyes lit up dangerously and she clapped her hands.

"Hylla take Annabeth on a tour would you. Show her what we have available." She said. "As for Aria I believe you have had enough time to decide?"

Aria bit her lip then very slowly nodded.

"Brilliant! Now for the young man."

...

Haha well another cliffhanger. Sorry I missed so many update days but I'm really stressed with School coming up.

Well this chapter's question:What do you think C,C was talking about when she asked Aria about her decision?

Let me know in the reviews.
