Chapter 10: The Talk

Harry's POV

The next day...

I woke up the next morning in my bed in Gryffindor Tower. I looked over and saw Weasley still sleeping. I got up and decide to take a shower. Before I got up. While in the shower I was thinking about all that I learned yesterday. Draco Malfoy is my identical twin. His name isn't Really Draco as mine isn't really Harry. Our father is Tom Riddle, more commonly known as Lord Voldemort, a man who has tried to kill me on more than one occasion. I soon finished with my shower, and got dressed. As stepped back out into the dormrooms I saw that Weasley was still asleep. I was mentally debating with myself if I should wake him up or not. I decided that if I wanted to keep them believing I was their friend then I should, that and I just want to annoy him. I went over to him and shook him saying, "Ron it's time to get up," when all he did was grunt and turn over after I tried a few more times I took drastic measures. I conjured a bucket of ice water and poured all over his head. He shot up with a scream. He then turned and looked at me with this annoyed face. To him I said, "You know I think I should do it again I don't think the giant squid heard you."

"Why the bloody hell did you do that!" He shouted at me.

"Cause I didn't think you would want to miss breakfast which just so you know ends in 20 minutes, and I did try to nicely wake you up, but clearly that didn't work work so I went to drastic measures," with that I turned around and started heading out oft he room, "and just as a warning I wouldn't fall back asleep especially if you don't want Hermione getting on to you later for being late to class cause you overslept."

When I got to the main part of the common room I saw Granger sitting reading a book in one of the chairs. I went over to her.

"Good morning Mione." I said to her as I sat down in the chair next to her.

"Morning Harry." She replied only glancing up from her book. She them marked her page and finally looked directly at me. "Where is Ron?"

"Either getting ready, or he went back to sleep."

"Oh, we'll do you want to go ahead down to the Great Hall?"

"Sure why not." With that we went off. As we were walking along nothing was really said except for a few pitiful attempts to start a conversation by Granger. We were almost there when we ran into Dray.

"Well well what do we have here scar face and the bookworm, but were is your weasel?" Mocked Dray.

"Shut it Malfoy. I don't have the energy to bother with you this morning," I said to Dray. With that I walked away, but right before I disappeared into the Great Hall I turned and saw him looking concernedly at me. I gave him a small smile as to tell him I'm ok. I walked into the Great Hall.

The day passed pretty quickly, but I was kind of out of it for the most part, and I could tell that Draco was concerned; because he gave me that worried look every time I saw him. I knew that I would be questioned tonight when we were supposed to meet up later.

*Later that day in the Room of Requirements*

I got to the Room of Requirements 10 minutes before Draco and me had talked to about. Only seven minutes had passed before Dray showe up.

"Hey Dray."

"Hey Harry," he replied be fore coming and sitting next to me on the couch I was sitting on. "What was wrong with you today?"

"Nothing was wrong."

"Something had to bee you were out of it all today."

"I was just thinking about the stuff we learned yesterday."

"Oh"

"Yeah" we sat in silence for a few moments before Dray broke it.

"You know I think I know why I felt so hurt when you rejected my friendship first year."

"Really why?"

"Well like the paper said we are twins, and not just that but it said identical twins, and you know how in the muggle world twins are really close."

"Yeah"

"Well magical twins are even closer. I mean take the Weasley twins for example, and so when you rejected me it hurt because, even though we lived seperate lives we are still twins."

"That makes a lot of sense really, and I guess that is why it was so easy to trust you too."

"I guess so." The silence once again overtook us before I interrupted it this time.

"I was wondering what do you think about about our father being the Dark Lord."

"To be honest I'm not sure what to think. I grew up hearing about all the terrible things he had done, but the more I learn about our situation I'm starting to think that they are not all true."

"I'm not sure what to think either. I mean it's hard to connect the man who has been trying to kill me since I got to the wizarding world, and our father a man who is suppose to love and protect us, but form what Uncle Sev was saying I think that there is more to his side than what I know."

"So what should we do?"

"I think we need to learn more about the situation before we make a finale decision."

"That sounds fair. Also why do you think we don't look alike I mean we are suppose to be identical, and right now we are complete opposites in physical appearance."

"I don't know, but I think we might be glamoured."

"It would have to have been a very strong glamour then to have last 15 years. How do you think we could remove it?"

"Well if is as strong as I think then I believe we should go to Gringotts and let the goblins take it off. That and I still need to go there to get them to remove the love potion in me and another thing they might have done. You might want to get checked out too you know since whoever stole us when we were babies could done something to us then along with the glamour."

"I guess that's a good idea. When would we go?"

"I don't know, but I think Uncle Sev should come with us whenever we do decide to go."

"Ok"

After that we just talked about random things until we decided to go to bed. We said our goodbyes/goodnights and headed off to our respective dormitories.

I laid in my bed that night thinking about how from this point on nothing in my life will ever be the same again, and all the things I thought were true really aren't.
