Naruto the secret soul reaper

I am so frustrated, Michellebranchtv actually TOOK michelle branch off of youtube. There are other sites but, it's just not the same, Do you guys know how to download a music video and upload it onto youtube, i'm just gonna put them back up myself, but i don't know how, i was hoping you guys would. Anyway i just want to get this out of the way. After this, i am going to take a break from this story, i'll still write this, it's just going to be on a short hiatus. I really want to start working on my other stories ideas. Also does anybody know how to delete a deviantart account, i messed up on mine and now i can't make a proper one so...yeah, well without further ado i present you with this chapter.
chapter 11
The mistress's despair
Naruto opened his eyes and looked around to find himself in the storage room he had hidden himself in last night. He couldn't believe he had not been discovered all night, then again he was a ninja. Our hero grabbed tozumasen and strapped him onto his waist. Slowly opening the door he noticed it was early morning, knowing that his transformation would be useless, naruto would simply use him ninja stealth to sneak around the soul society he would have to take on another soul reaper and then command them to tell him where tenten was being held. Naruto set out to search everywhere, he even used four shadowclones to help. Already knowing the fights would get tougher, he had to be ready for anything.
Several miles away, The lieutenant of squad two, marechiyo omaeda was strolling around the barracks. He was eating what appeared to be a bag of potato chips, just then a few soul reapers entered the area and immediately approached the lieutenant.
"Lieutenant omaeda" said one of them frantically.
"Yeah, what is it?" asked marechiyo.
"Sir, squad eleven's third and fifth seats have been defeated" explained the other.
"SAY WHAT, ikkaku and yumichika?".
"Yes sir, i know it's hard to believe but, it's true".
"Yumichika i can get, but ikkaku, he's one of the best fighters in the soul society, who was it?" asked the astonished lieutenant.
"We don't know, but it was clearly a ryoka, shall we report this to head captain yamamoto?".
"Yeah, definitely, What kind of wounds were dealt to them?" asked marechiyo already suspecting a certain individual.
"Well, it was clear that they had both been defeated by sword wounds from another soul reaper. It's strange could there be a traitor among us?".
"Not likely, listen, you two, go and alert the captains and inform them of the ryoka, i will go and confront them myself". ordered marechiyo.
"Yes, sir" they said in unision and left via flash step to inform the head captain.
"I have a bad feeling about this, i wonder if it could be that kido imposter from the world of the living" wondered marechiyo as he left to find the ryoka and take them out on his own.
Naruto was running through the soul seireitei trying to coherse information oot of random soul reapers he intercepted. Behind him was a defeated platoon of soul reapers all of whom he tried to get it out of them. Unfortunetly, none of them knew where she was. He had also defeated two women soul reapers, one had short black hair like shizune's, green eyes and wearing a standard shihakusho. The other one had aqua hair and also wore a shihakusho. Both of them were not very strong so they proved no real task for naruto to defeat.
It was here that our hero spotted something like a black blur. Naruto had no trouble at all recognizing who it was. He would know that blur anwhere. Marechiyo had found him by sensing the defeated soul reapers. As the lieutenant of the punishment force, it was up to him to stop this ryoka. He couldn't help but wonder how was it that the kido imposter was still alive, he was positive his captain had killed him.
"So, it's you again huh?, i could've sworn that captain sui feng killed you" adressed marechiyo who had appeared on a tiled rooftop beside naruto.
"No, i'm still here, and i've come to get someone" said naruto.
"You're a lot tougher than you look short fry, and i can guess that by someone, you are refering to that girl".
"That's right, and you're going to tell me where she is".
"Oh, really".
"That's right, so let's hear it".
"Hold up there, i'm not just gonna tell you, you're gonna half to beat it out of me".
"That suits me just fine, so should we go somewhere a little less cramped?" asked naruto.
"You read my mind, how about over there, by the woods?" proposed marechiyo.
"Alright then".
The two then made their way to the woods a slight distance from where they were. Naruto was positive he could win. Naruto remembered how he defeated marechiyo previously in the village, and he wasn't even an actual soul reaper then. This battle would be a piece of cake. Though he knew he still had to keep his guard up, after all some thing seemed different about him from last time.
Finally the two arrived in the middle of the woods, this would be the ideal place for them to fight, after all they were both assassins this was practically their home.
"If you think it's gonna be like last time you're wrong, this time you're going down".
"Why would that be?" asked naruto.
"I'll let you in on a little secret, when a lieutenant or captain enters the world of the living, restrictions are placed on them. The reason for this is, if we were at full power it would hurt the stability of that world. So when we fought in the world of the living, i was only at twenty percent of my power, i am now five times as strong as i was then".
"Well that's good to know, i pummeled you last time, so it's good to know that you'll be a better challenge this time. Although, you should keep in mind that when we fought, i was not even a soul reaper. Yet still you lost, and now i am a soul reaper as well. I am nothing like i was last time".
With that being said the two then drew their zanpakuto, Both initiated flash step at the same time and they crossed blades. There were some sparks between the two katana. However marechiyo was overpowered and sent back. He tried to disappear into the woods to sneak attack, but naruto being a ninja had had that happen to him numerous times, so he simply used substitution. As marechiyo looked at the cut up log he had a beyond surprised look.
"I've never seen that type of move before, and how was he able to tell when i was coming?" marechiyo thought to himself.
His thoughts were interrupted by a katana slashing his left hip, he fell to his knees in pain, and tried to sense where he was, but it seemed as though he had the ability to turn off his spiritual pressure. Naruto then took his opprotunity to finish this quickly by bringing down tozumasen on marechiyo's back. Marechiyo only escaped through flash step, marechiyo realized now was the time to get serious.
"Smash um, gegetsuburi" marechiyo's sword turned into a wrecking ball.
"So you're finnaly getting serious, okay i will too" said naruto as he gripped tozumasen with both hands and raised his spiritual pressure, which for some reason he could feel increasing exponentially, maybe it was because he was fighting a full lieutenant, allowing him to reach new heights.
"HIIIIIYAAAAAAAA" marechiyo charged with gegetsuburi swinging backward as he prepared to swing it.
Naruto focused his spiritual pressure into tozumasen allowing him to access his power as well. Both zanpakuto and soul reaper were combining their energy as naruto got ready to intercept marechiyo.
Soon enough, marechiyo reached naruto and swung gegetsuburi forward to kill naruto. As the wrecking ball reached naruto, he gave a vertical slash with tozumasen. Tozumasen sliced right through gegetsuburi, even though it was not in shikai, naruto's zanpakuto cut it clean in half. The momentum of naruto's sword kept going and sliced marechiyo's stomach.
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH" yelled marechiyo as he fell on his back and gegetsuburi's now two pieces were flung on opposite sides of him.
"There, i've defeated you, now tell me where tenten is" said naruto.
"N-Never, y-you'll h-have to k-kill me".
"That can be arranged" said naruto as he held tozumasen's tip at marechiyo's throat.
"Last chance, you better tell me" said naruto.
Marechiyo was sweating torpedo's and his face was blue, he was scared he didn't want to die, but he knew he couldn't divulge the whereabouts of the girl.
"Alright then, it's your time i suppose" said naruto as he prepared to slit marechiyo's throat.
"W-WHAIT, PLEASE DON'T KILL ME I'LL TELL YOU" marechiyo caved.
"Good so tell me".
"She's being kept in the senzaikyu, a prison made of seki seki rock, it's impervious to spirit energy, it's a big white tower on sogyoku hill, right next to the main building" marechiyo said in a panic.
Naruto remembered that hill, he saw it in kusajishi, and it was a slight distance away but not really that far.
"Thank you for the information" said naruto as he smacked the pummel of tozumasen against marechiyo's forehead knocking him unconcious.
Looking up in the distance naruto saw the brown hill next to the main building, he sheathed his sword and continued on his way.
Inside the senzaikyu, tenten was laying down on the stone floor, thinking about what was going to happen, in two months she would be executed. Until then, she was stuck in this stone cell. She had of course tried to break free, but the stone was simply too sturdy, and her weapons had been taken away, not that it really mattered. The guards had told her that this cell was made of a special stone called seki seki rock, immune to spirit energy. Her mind began to wonder, the last she saw of naruto he had been in critical condition, there was hardly even any blood, signifying that his injuries were even more severe then they appeared. She had to accept that naruto might very well be dead.
Tenten remembered when this first started.

Not too far away, tenten was training on her flexibility by doing acrobatics on abandoned biuldings when she saw naruto. He appeared to be struggling with some sort of invisable force, suddenly she was able to make out an outine of what looked like a monkey, and also a pterodactyl, she quickly leapted into action, determined to help naruto in any way she was able to. As she rushed in, time hulted, if she only knew what she was getting into, and what it would do to him.

As tenten lay on the cold stone ground, she fekt more and more horrible about what happened to naruto. Naruto was dead, all account of her not being able to resist a fight. The more she thought about it, the more guilt she felt consumed her. Naruto had a lot to o in his life, his dreams were gone, he would never be hokage, and he would never bring back sasuke.
"I'm going to die" she thought with no particular emotion.
"Well, at least i can tell naruto i'm sorry".
"I should die, this is justice, it serves me right".
Tenten grimanced on that though, she was glad she was going to die, why couldn't they just stop beating around the bush and just execute her already?.
Right then, a random soul reaper came to the door of the senzaikyu, she had pale skin, was considerably tall, and had brown hair held up in ponytail.
She opened the latch of the small sliding space of the door and informed tenten of her news.
"Woman from the world of the living, i have come to inform you that your execution date has been reschedueled, you shall be executed in two weeks, that is all" she said and then went on back to her job as a soul reaper.
Suddenly, tenten felt an odd sense of relief in her stomach, knowing that her execution was going to be sooner than she thought. Finding peace to a degree, tenten laid down and went to sleep.
Back at the squad six barracks, a certain few members were running through the halls, trying to find their captain as soon as possible.
"I can't believe someone could do that to a lieutenant, besides a captain" said the first one.
"Now it is for certain, there is a ryoka inside the seireitei" said the second one.
"Yeah, and whoever they are, they must be powerful to down the second in command of the punishment force" said the third one.
The three soul reapers made their way into the main hall where they saw their captain, doing paperwork. Their captain was very pale man, who was considerably tall. He had kenseikan in his long; black hair, signifying he was from a very prostegious clan. He had a regular captain's uniform with a white scarf. His eyes were gray, his face was very calm. His zanpakuto was a standard katana, with a bronze; square tsuba in the shape of a closed window, it was in a white sheath attached to his side, and finally it had a lavender hilt.
"What is it?" the man asked bluntly.
"Captain byakuya kuchiki sir, we have discovered lieutenant omaeda unconcious, we have transported him to squad four for medical attention" said the first one.
"Very well, anything else?" asked the captain of squad six.
"Yes sir, we now know for certain that there is a ryoka somewhere in the seireitei" replied the second one.
"How so?".
"Sir, analysis of the injuries of ikkaku madarame, and yumichika ayasagawa dictate that they were defeated by a foreign sword" said the third one.
"Good work, all of you, i shall report this to head captain yamamoto, as well as request a captain's meeting to discuss this" said byakuya getting up from his desk, still not facing his squad members. He then leaves.
Walking up to the three of his fellow squad members, renji abarai then decided to inquire them.
"What's going on?" the lieutenant questioned.
"Lieutenant abarai, there is a ryoka inside the seireitei, whoever they are they wield a foreign sword, as well as having defeated the third and fifth seats of squad eleven already, we can assume that they posses severe power" reported the third soul reaper.
Is that so, well then i'll have to go and deal with this myself" stated the lieutenant with red hair who walked away.
"Abarai sir, where are you going?" asked the first soul reaper.
"Where do you think?, i'm going to deal with the ryoka".
"WAIT,SIR" called the second soul reaper, only for renji to keep going.
Naruto stood near the entrance stairway that led to the senzaikyu. Having used his shadowclone, he was able to quickly scout out the place and find where the entrance was. It was a simple tall; chrome stairway that lead into a hallway. There was also an entrance to the sewer under one of the concrete blocks. One of naruto's clones had discovered it when it accidentally tripped. Naruto knew that would come in handy as a hideout to recover if needed so he marked which tile it was under with a kunai.
Our hero was just about to make his way up the stairs, when all of a sudden, a man who was wearing a lieutenant's badge, and had wild red hair, with MANY tattoos, came down the steps. It was obvious by the man's expression that he was here to take naruto in. The man stepped forward and it was revealed to be renji.
"How did you know i'd be here?" asked naruto.
"The only reason i could think of for a ryoka to come here was to get something, and i was suspicious of that other human who was supposedly killed when the girl was taken in. So you're that kido imposter i read about, so you did survive, well it'll be my pleasure to be the one to take you in" said renji.
"If i must, then i must, i will fight you" accepted naruto.
"Alright then, let's do this" said renji, drawing his zanpakuto.
Naruto in return drew his zanpakuto, the two swords were recipricates of each other. Renji's being red, and naruto's being green. Both swordsmen took a few steps closer and held their swords with both hands ready to combat one another.
"Before we start, it is my code that each combatant states their name. My name is renji abarai, i'm the lieutenant of squad six" said reni.
"My name is naruto uzumaki" said naruto simply.
"Good, now let the battle begin" declared renji.
"Roar, zabimaru" said renji who activated his shikai.
Renji's shikai was a much larger version of it regular state. It was now that of a raper sword with six divided segments, which were all connected by what appeared to be a thread, it also had many large spike protrusions coming from all of it's segments.
"Attack, tozumasen" said naruto as his katana turned into a sabre.
Renji made the first move as he swung zabimaru, the segment flung themselves at naruto, who responded by catching the prongs on the curve of his sabre blade. In response, renji withdrew his zanpakuto and charged up another swing. Naruto used flash step multiple times and moved in a circle to try and confuse renji. Renji released his swing and, surprisingly, was able to land a hit on naruto's right shoulder, he then retracted zabimaru and caused a massive gash to appear on naruto's shoulder.
"Ugh" grunted naruto.
"How does it feel, i bet i hurts, well there's plenty more where that came from" renji smirked.
Naruto chose not to respond, instead focusing on the fight, naruto activated one of his zanpakuto's abilities.
"Time dilation" said naruto quietly.
The large; transparent, yellow clock appeared spiraling out of tozumasen's tsuba, and then exploded into the air. Renji was puzzled at this, but payed it no mind and simply considered naruto's attack as a failure. Renji used flash step as he prepared another swing, but naruto saw it coming and stood still.
"RAh, you're mine" screamed renji as he appeared behind naruto and swinged.
"Bakudo #73 tozansho" said naruto as the blue upside down pyramid appeared and deflected renji's sword.
"Damn" said renji under his beath as he decided to fight naruto up close and personal.
Renji once again used flash step, and appeared in front of naruto. The two crossed blades and stared into each other's eyes.
As the two men stared at each other, the noticed each of their expressions. Renji's glare showed passion and determination. Naruto simply stared neutrally at renji, remaining calm. Suffice to say, renji was not pleased at naruto's expressionless face.
"HAAAAAAAAA" cried renji as he tried to force his sword down on naruto's trying to break it, but naruto simply pushed upward as if he were preforming a parie and managed to push back renji knocking him away. Renji angrily swung his sword a third time aiming for naruto's face. Then all of a sudden the time dilation took affect and zabimaru was drastically slowed down, giving naruto the chance to evade it. Naruto then takes the opening and rushes in while zabimaru was retracting, renji had mamaged to retract zabimaru, but for some reason he didn't swing again. Renji had a look of profanity on his face.
"He can only swing it three times in a row" realized naruto.
Naruto went in and rush at renji, he jumped in the air and held tozumasen in his right hand, he positioned his right arm at twelve oclock and his left arm at three oclock. Naruto rotated both his arms and each landed on their previous respective positions.
"Time strike" naruto said to himself.
Naruto, then brought down tozumasen while in the air and a golden slash with emerald symmetry, struck renji across the chest and down to the lower abdomen.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAH" renji screamsed in pain.
Renji then had blood errupt from his chest and now had a large gash on most of his front body. Injured as he was though, renji would not give up, so, using the main prong at the end of his sword, renji used zabimaru as a crutch, and actually managed to stand up. The lieutenant looked into naruto's eyes and saw his opponent ready to continue fighting.
"I'M NOT DONE, I'LL STILL DEFEAT YOU" renji called and attacked head on with zabimaru.
Naruto once again managed to catch zabimaru's prongs with tozumasen's curved blade. The engaged in close combat, trying to break through the other's zanpakuto.
"I won't lose" panted renji.
"Neither will i, i have to save tenten" replied naruto.
With that the two swordsmen continued on, seemengly in a stalemate. Renji's torso tattoos, with the blood running down his chest were starting to look like smudges. The red haired soul reaper looked into nruto's eyes as the battle continued. In turn, naruto also gazed at renji, naruto was also determined to win, but his expression certainly didn't show it.
The two then had what was known as a battle bond, as they stared at one another, they felt as if they were the only two fighters in the soul society. As the two locked eyes renji remembered his days as a villager of the rukon district, how he survived; how he ate, his friends who hadn't survived; and how he met one of his best friends. After recollecting how he got to where he currently is, renji poured all of his spirit energy into zabimaru.
Renji took on a ruby red aura, and his power was increased immensly, actually starting to overpower naruto. Naruto then sensed two spiritual pressures coming from renji as he hung on as best he could.
"Renji's mixed his spirit energy with zabimaru's" realized naruto.
"That's why i don't feel at full power, i've been relying too much on tozumasen's energy alone, i need to mix his with my own".
Naruto charged his own spiritual pressure as high as possible, then channeled it through tozumasen. Naruto didn't put all his power into tozumasen, rather, it was more like the two's energies were right on top of one another, with naruto's orange spirit energy on top, and tozumasen's green energy on the bottom.
Our hero was enveloped in an emerald green aura, with this new power, naruto was able to match renji, the entire section of the entrance to the stairs was buired in a conglomeration of ruby red, and emerald green energy.
Both aura's became as bright as ever and then died down, though there was no explosion, it was clear from the surrounding area that there was damage.
Renji was on his back unconcious, naruto was breathing heavily but managed to catch his breath. Seeing he had won, naruto set off to the tile to the entrance to the sewer. The battle had drained him and he would need to rest for at least the night. Naruto found the kunai marked tile, lifted it up, and went down into the sewer.
This sewer was nothing like the one in his seal, this sewer was red instead of green; had brick tiled walls instead of smooth prison walls; and had a more homely feeling rather than a sinister feeling. It also had a large water canal running through it, the water way was connected to many channels, heading in many different directions. It was nothing like the soaked walking path of the seal inside him.
Naruto found a decent spot for resting and went to sleep. He was positive that he would not be discovered as this sewer was well hidden. Kurama would heal his injuries, so naruto sealed tozumasen and sheathed it, putting it to his right, next to the wall and away from the water canal. Naruto closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.
Green notes from the author
Dosen't it seem like all of my chapters end with naruto going to sleep?. Maybe that could be my signature ending, you know cause naruto likes to sleep because of the darkness, yeah i think i'll keep that around, but don't assume that that's a spoiler, you never know. Well like i said, i'm going to take a break from naruto the secret soul reaper, you know get some of my other ideas out there, because there's quit a lot of them. You guys ever see that web show shanedawsontv, it's more than a little weird cause the dude wears makeup for some of his characters, but above that it's actually a decent web show. It'll get you through a boring afternoon when there's nothing good on tv. You know i just watched a video about a guy playing three kings, nothing actually happened but it was still a bit unsettling. Oh by the way, three kings is a ghost game where you talk to spirits in the dark between two mirrors, it's really creepy, i'd never do it unless i had no choice. Do you guys believe in ghosts?, I'm not too sure what to believe, but i do believe in spirit energy. So that's it for me, i hope you guys like my new stories, but i will get back to this at some point. Trust me the next chapter of this is where it really gets good, so yeah that's something to look forward to. I won't give out anything about my next story, it'll be a surprise, Oyasuminasai ( Good night in japanese).
