Hello my friends what is happening? Fire Dragon of Miracles here and I am bring you yet another chapter for my story Miracle and Light United! This chapter will be featuring Matt and TK meeting Davis's older sister, Jun and this will also be featuring the beginning of the romance that will start between her and Matt. Also Davis and Veemon well be separated in this chapter, as Veemon will be staying on the rooftop to look after an unconscious Gatomon, while Davis and Wizardmon will be going around the city to look for Kari Digivice, which for Davis then turns into him following after TK, Matt and Jun while Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon chase them around. Anyways read on to the next chapter!
(Odaiba, Nightfall: The city)
Nightfall had descended on the city of Odaiba, with the moon shining brightly in the sky above while the colorful lights of the city showed the life on the ground below. Atop one of the high building towering over the city was Davis, wearing his shadow costume and was looking down at the lights of the city; while he sat on the ledge of the building with his legs dangling over the side. The bearer of Miracles was currently in very deep thought, over a certain conversation and decision that had happened only a few minutes ago.
(Flashback: 2 hours ago, Rooftop)
Davis and Veemon could be seen staring at Wizardmon who was a few feet away from them on the rooftop. The crimson haired boy was leaning against the ledge of the rooftop, while Veemon could be seen sitting beside an unconscious Gatomon, who was laying down on his sleeping bag. "Alright, we want answers. How did you meet Gennai?" Veemon questioned, crossing his arms.
Wizardmon nodded. "That is pretty simple to explain. I met you grandfather after I had recently join Myotismon. I was out in the forest looking for new recruits to join us when I suddenly felt something calling me from the east, I wanted to know what it was and I decide to go and check out what it was. That is when I met your grandfather." Wizardmon explained.
"But if you're in league with Myotismon, then why are you helping Gennai keep tabs on him?" Davis asked, raising an eyebrow. "I haven't sensed any lies coming from your words and you don't seem like the type to make things up quickly, which also makes me wonder why someone like you would be working for Myotismon."
"Well actually, I was never working with Myotismon in the first place. The only reason I even joined Myotismon was to make sure Gatomon was okay." Wizardmon said, looking at the Feline Digimon.
"You stayed for Gatomon?" Veemon asked, a surprised look in his eyes.
Wizardmon nodded again. "Yes. You see before I might Gatomon, I was a loner and traveled all around the Digital world by myself with no friends or acquaintances, no one to trust. During my travel I had just arrived at a city after walking through a desert and having not eaten or having drank anything for over three days, I collapsed in the middle of the tone in exhaustion." Wizardmon said, closing his eyes. "Despite there being many Digimon there, none of them came to help me, and I thought it was the end of me, but then Gatomon appeared in front of me and gave me some water, only for me to pass out just a moment later."
Veemon turned his head to Gatomon, a soft smile working onto his face. "Well I'm glad to see that hasn't changed about her. When the two of us were traveling together, we always stopped every now and then to help some Digimon out." Veemon said, turning his attention back to Wizardmon. "Please continue."
"Of course. Eventually I had awakened from unconscious slumber and awoken to see Gatomon sitting besides me in front of a fire. After thanking Gatomon for helping me, I was about to leave but Gatomon told me that I didn't have the strength to attempt to do so, which in reality in knew very well was true. Due to being alone for so long; I couldn't understand what friendship and compassion was, I merely thought that she had said that because she wanted something from me and I was shocked to learn that wasn't the case." Wizardmon said, placing his hands on his lap. "She then began to tell about how she had been waiting for a girl for a very long time, but that the girl never came. She also told me about how she was searching for someone else, a friend who's name she could not remember and that all she could remember of him was that he had red eyes."
The smile on Veemon face faded as he stared at the ground, a sad frown replacing it as an angry expression appeared on his face. "It's all my fault. If I hadn't been separated from her that day, I could have prevented from ever meeting Myotismon and having to work for that bastard." He said, gritting his teeth.
Davis looked towards his partner. "Come on Vee, you can't blame yourself for what happened. You had no idea what was going to happened that day, so don't blame yourself for what happened." Davis said, smiling softly.
Veemon sigh and closed his eyes. "Yeah I guess you're right." He muttered.
Davis then turned his attention back to Wizardmon. "So now, could you tell us how you and Gennai met with one another in the first place?" Davis asked, placing his hands behind his head.
Wizardmon placed a hand on his hat. "Well where to begin with that story. Well I all started when I was traveling around the Digital World looking for recruits to join Myotismon for his invasion of the Human World. I was against his idea, but I couldn't risk anything happening to Gatomon so I simply decide to go along with it." He said, before looking to his side. "As I was searching in a forest, I suddenly heard a voice calling out to me and look to my right to see and elderly man standing a few feet away from me."
"Gennai." Davis and Veemon said, nodding their heads.
Wizardmon nodded. "I asked him who he was and he simply told me, that he was a friend." He said, before placing his hands together. "After that he told me everything, about how Myotismon plan was to conquer both worlds and enslave everyone. If that happened, Gatomon would certainly be in danger of being harmed by Myotismon."
"So that's way you joined Gennai, to prevent Myotismon from taking over both worlds?" Veemon questioned.
Wizardmon raised both his hands. "Well, that and to prevent Gatomon from having to remain being a slave for Myotismon." He said, before looking at Davis. "By the way, Gennai told me that he had given you the Crest of Light; which I stole from Myotismon."
Davis and Veemon eyes widen in surprise. "Wait, you're the one who stole the Crest of Myotismon and gave it to Grandpa?" Davis asked, getting a nod from Wizardmon.
The duo of Miracles then looked at one another; before Davis stood up and removed his shirt, allowing Wizardmon to see the marking on his chest. "Gennai sealed the Crest inside of my body, he said that it would prevent Myotismon from possibly finding it with one of the fake crest." The human boy explained.
"Well it seems to have worked, as my fake Crest couldn't pick up the energy of the real one. Though one thing still remains, where is the Digivice?" Wizardmon wondered.
Davis then let out an annoyed sigh. "We don't know. We know that it's somewhere in the city, but that's about it." He said, crossing his arms. "We'll have to find it by ourselves, and before Myotismon and his goons find it first."
Veemon then jumped to his feet. "Then what are we waiting for?!" He questioned, punching the air.
Davis then gained a nervous look on his face, which scratching his right cheek with his finger. "Actually Vee, I want you to stay here; while Wizardmon and I go and look for the Digivice." He said, closing his right eye.
Veemon looked at Davis in confusion and shock, while Wizardmon looked at the human in surprise. "Huh? Why?" The dragon Digimon asked.
The wielder of Miracles gestured towards the sleeping Gatomon. "I think it would be best for you to be her so that when she wakes up, you can explain what happened to right now." He said, before grinning. "Beside, I'm pretty sure you two have a lot to catch up on."
Davis then just gave Veemon another smile and a two finger salute, before his hoverboard then appeared besides him. Davis then jumped onto the board and flew into the air, heading towards the city while Veemon and Wizardmon watched him leave. The champion level Digimon then turned to Veemon.
"Take care of her Veemon." Wizardmon said, before he disappeared into thin air.
Veemon just looked towards where Wizardmon had been before turning towards Gatomon. The dragon Digimon then raised his hand up and placed it on Gatomon's cheek, with the feline suddenly gaining a small smile on her face. Veemon then gained a smile of his own. "I promise Gatomon, I won't ever let anything happen to you." He muttered.
(Flashback end)
Davis then let out a sigh before he laid down on his back, looking up at the stars and crescent moon in the sky. "I've looked around almost the entire city, and I still haven't found it." Davis muttered. "Where the heck is that stupid Digivice?"
As he continued to lay on top of the building, Davis's thought returned back to his conversation with Kari earlier. Like Veemon with Gatomon, he didn't want Kari to get involved with this battle against Myotismon, to have to suffer the responsibility that had been forced upon him, Tai, Sora and the others... but at the same time, he knew that it was inevitable that Kari was going to be pulled into this battle and that all he could do, was try and protect her as best as he could.
Davis then climbed back onto his feet as his Hoverboard, which was lying on the ground beside him, lifted itself up from the ground and moved in front of Davis. The young boy then jumped onto the Hoverboard, and began to fly away toward the next part of the city that he hadn't check out yet and hopefully, where the Digivice would be.
(Shibuya)
Matt, TK and Tsunomon could be seen walking through the city in search of a missing Patamon. The reason for this being that TK and Patamon had gotten into an argument with one another while on the Train, and once the door of the train had opened; Patamon flew out of the station. The three have been looking for him for since then for awhile.
Matt then let out a sigh. "Man, where in the world could Patamon be?" He wondered, placing a hand on his head.
"I hope that Patamon is okay." TK said, as he wanted to apologize to Patamon.
"Don't worry TK, I'm sure Patamon is alright and is looking for you to apologize to you." Tsunomon said, trying cheering up the younger boy.
As they were walking the three then began to round a corner on the sidewalk, Matt accidently bumped into someone and fell to the ground while dropping Tsunomon. "Damn, what hit me?" Matt said, a he pulled himself into a sitting position.
"Matt are you okay?" TK asked, as he picked up Tsunomon.
Matt nodded and was about to say something, only for another voice to stop him before he could. "Oh no, sorry about that are you alright?" Matt then looked up and saw a girl with flowing straight crimson hair sitting on the ground in front of him. He notice that she appeared to be his age and that she had a band-aid on her nose and was wearing a purple shirt with a white sweater over it, blue jeans and purple sneakers.
Matt then felt something fell onto his lap and looked down to see a piece of paper with a picture of a little boy with crimson hair on it, with the words "Missing Child" written at the very top of the picture. He looked around and notice that there were more posters scattered across the floor, and that the girl was picking them up. "I wasn't paying attention to where I was and accidentally ran into you." The girl said, picking up more flyers.
"No it's alright, it was my fault too. Here let me help." Matt said, as he began to pick up some of the posters.
As the two were picking up the posters, with TK also helping by picking up a few of them. Eventually there was only one left and Matt reached for it; only for his and girls to reach it at the same time, which caused the two look at each other. Both of their faces were close to one another, with Matt staring into the girls amethyst colored eyes while the girls stared into his cerulean blue eyes. After staring at each other for a few more moments; both Matt and the girl realized what was happening and looked away from one another.
"Why was I staring at him like that? I admit he's really cute but I don't have time to try and ask him out!" The girl thought, scolding herself. "I have to focus on finding my missing brother, not dreaming about a some guy I just met!"
Unknown to the girl, Matt was also thinking thoughts similar to her own. "What the heck am I doing? I'm suppose to be helping TK look for Patamon, not staring at some girl I just met!" He mentally berated himself.
"Hey Matt are you okay? Your face is all red." TK said, looking at his brother.
Matt eyes widen, before he shook his head widely in hopes of getting rid of the blush on his face. "Yeah! I'm alright TK, don't worry about it." He said, a sheepish smile on his face.
He then took the poster that TK was holding in his hand and turned to the girl, who was simply staring down at the picture of the boy on the papers. Matt was about to get her attention, when he notice a trail of water going down to her cheek from her eye. "Hey, are you alright?" He asked, a bit concerned.
The girl body stiffen when she heard Matt voice, before she raised her arm up to her face and wiped the tear away with her sleeve. "Yeah I'm alright, don't worry." She said, before standing up. "Um, thanks for helping me pick these up."
Matt simply nodded as he handed her the posters he collected. "No problem. So anyways, my names Matt Ishida and this is my little brother TK." Matt said, gesturing to TK.
"Nice to meet you." TK said, smiling.
The girl just smiled back at the brothers. "It's nice to meet you both, my name is Jun Motomiya." She said.
"It's nice to meet you as well Jun, but I'm afraid that we have to leave now. Yeah see, where looking for a friend of ours and we want to find him before it get's any later." Matt said, as he wanted to find Patamon and get TK home soon.
Jun was about to question on who they were looking for, when all four heard shouting coming from behind them and turned their heads to see two figures running towards them. They both were rather short and one appeared to be made entirely out of rock while the had a Pumpkin for a head. Tsunomon eyes then narrowed. "It's Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon!" He shouted, before jumping out of TK hands.
"Tsunomon wait!" Matt shouted, but was to late.
Jun's eyes widen had in shock the moment Tsunomon had said spoken before she had to shield her eyes as Tsunomon was enveloped in a powerful white light, with the intensity of the light being to much for her.

"Tsunomon Digivolve to... Gabumon!"

After a moment; Jun felt the light disappear and reopened her eyes to see some kind of wolf with crocodile like tail and a large horn sticking out of the top of it's head. Jun just looked at the creature in shock, falling onto her butt as body trembled. "W-what the... heck just...?" She stuttered, raising a finger at Gabumon.
Before Matt and TK could say anything, Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon stopped in front of Gabumon, with the wolf Digimon glaring at the two. "Hold it right you two, why are you both in such a hurry?" He questioned.
"You know these two Digimon?" TK asked.
Gabumon nodded. "I sure do; these two work for Myotismon!" He exclaimed.
Both TK and Matt looked at the two Digimon, wondering how compared to the other Digimon who they battled that where with Myotismon; these two didn't look very threatening at all. In fact, the two actually appeared to scared; like they had been fleeing from something.
"You can run but you can't hide wearing those stupid costumes!" Suddenly they all heard shouting and saw a older looking girl running towards them, which caused Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon to look in horror. "You right we do work with Myotismon, but right now we're running from something even scarier then Myotismon!" Pumpkinmon said.
"We have to hide, or else that teenage human gonna clobber us!" Gotsumon said, before looking at Gabumon. "In fact, you better hide to!"
Gotsumon and Pumpkinmon grabbed Gabumon and the three hide behind a couple of garbage cans that were close to the group. Just as the hid, the teenage girl stopped in front of the group and looked around before turning to Matt. "Did you see two little freaks in costumes run through here?" She asked.
Matt simply nodded, pointing in the other direction. "Um, they went in that direction." He said, a bit unease.
The girl ran past the group, shouting a thank you to Matt as she ran down in the direction he had given her. As soon as she was gone; the two brothers let out a sigh, with the older of the two noticing that Jun was still sitting on the ground, her body slightly trembling. "Hey you okay?" He asked, bending down to face her.
Jun suddenly broke of her shock, looking at Matt for a moment before slowly nodding. "Um I think so." She said, hesitantly as she stood up. "Um quick question and this may sound stupid, but was the toy your brother holding suddenly transform into a talking wolf?"
Matt and TK looked at one another with a nervous look, not really sure what they where suppose to say at the moment. The three humans then heard rustling and turned to see Gabumon, Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon walk out from behind the trash cans. "Is she gone? Gotsumon asked, as both he and Pumpkinmon let out a large breath.
Gabumon turned towards the two. "Did Myotismon send the both of you out here to look for and find the Eight Child?" He questioned, getting a nod from Pumpkinmon.
Jun just stared at Gabumon; before raising her hand and pinching herself on her cheek, causing her to wince slightly. "Okay, I'm definitely not dreaming so I must be going crazy." She said.
"Trust me, you're not going crazy." Matt said, before turning to Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon. "But if you're looking for the eight child, then that makes you our enemy."
Pumpkinmon simply shook his head. "No we're not, we just wanna cruise around this city!" Pumpkinmon said, smiling.
"Yeah Shibuya is awesome!" Gotsumon added.
That made Matt, TK and Gabumon relax while Jen just continue to look in silence. "So your not looking for the Eight child?" TK asked.
"No way, this place is awesome! In fact, next stop is Hollywood!" Gotsumon said, as he and Pumpkinmon dropped into a pose. "Ta-da!"
The three humans and Gabumon simply stared at the Duo as sweatdrop appeared on the back of their heads. "Yeah, these guys are not ready to be on television." Jun said, shaking her head.
"Typical, everyone wants to be in showbiz." Gabumon said.
"Lights, Camera, Action!" Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon said, before running off.
"Hey get back here!" Matt shouted, as he, TK and Gabumon running after the two.
Jun just watched as the group ran off before looking down at the posters resting on the ground. She then bended down and quickly gathered them in her hands before running after the group. "Hey wait up!" She shouted, chasing after them.
(Meanwhile, on the rooftop)
Veemon was sitting cross legged on the edge of the building with his arms resting by his side, looking up at the stars with a bored expression on his face. He had just finished finding the 12 zodiac constellations and was at the moment almost wishing that he had gone with Davis and Wizardmon in search of Kari's Digivice. He then looked over his shoulder towards Gatomon, who was still sleeping peacefully on the ground before letting out a sigh. "I hope she wakes up soon, cause it's driving me nuts to know if she actually remembers me." Veemon thought.
The blue dragon Digimon then let out a tired smile before closing his eyes. "Why the hell did all this kind of crap have to happen to us?" He questioned. "I ended meeting Davis; while she end up being forced to work for Myotismon, something that she didn't... know, something that she never deserved."
Veemon was brought of his thoughts when a heard a groan coming from behind him and quickly turned around to see Gatomon sitting up slowly, placing a paw on her forehead. "Ugh, what the hell happened to me?" She muttered, opening her eyes.
"Well might have to due with the fact that you fainted when you saw me." Gatomon then turned her head to see Veemon standing beside her with a smile on his face. "Hey, how you feeling?" He questioned.
Gatomon simply stared at Veemon in shock, tears appearing in her eyes as looked at the face of the Dragon Digimon in front of her. Though his face didn't seem familiar to her, she continue to stare at his eyes which undoubtedly revealed the truth to her. "V-Vee... it's really you." She whispered, tears traveling down her face.
Veemon simply continue to smile at her before nodding his head. "Yeah Sala, it me. I'm right here." He said, tears traveling down his own.
Gatomon simply continue to stare at Veemon and before the latter could even react, she wrapped her arms around him and pulled him closer to her while burying her face in his chest. Veemon was a bit surprised when Gatomon pulled him closer to her, though he didn't say anything as he felt her body trembling. "I... I thought I would... never see you again...!" She sobbed, gasping in between her sentence. "After that Tornado... separated us I thought that you... that you..."
Veemon just listened to her as she cried, before placing his arms around her and deepening the embrace. "I felt the same way, but I always held onto hope that you were still out there somewhere," He said, closing his eyes. "And I finally found you after all this time, so please don't cry."
The two old friends simply continue their emotional embrace as they held one another in their arms, though a single thought went through the dragon Digimon mind. "No matter what happens to me I promise, I'll make Myotismon pay for what he did to you Sala." Veemon thought.
(With Davis)
The young bearer of Miracles was hovering above the city, using the cover of the night sky as a way to remain hidden from the eyes of the people below the city. He had been searching the entire eastern side of the island for the Digivice but came out with nothing, and was making his way over to the southern side to resume his search.
"Ay Chamuca, this like find a Koromon in a massive forest!" Davis said, before closing his eyes. "If I don't find that Digivice soon before Myotismon finds Kari, then she'll be..." Davis simply shook his head to get rid of those thoughts, as they weren't helping in his quest at the moment. No matter what happened, he was going to find that Digivice, take down Myotismon and make sure that Kari was safe! This he swore!
As he regained his thoughts and focus on his goals, Davis heard what sounded like a whip being cracked and turned his head to the side to see Dark clouds above the Shibuya Wards, with the clouds having bolts of red lightning coming from them. "Only one person I know can make blood red lightning, Myotismon!" Davis muttered, venom laced in his words. "Guess i'm gonna have to make a slight detour."
Davis then made a U-turn before increasing his speed, heading for Shibuya ward and more importantly, Myotismon.
(Back with Matt and the others)
After chasing Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon around all of Shibuya which involved running from the police due to the two Digimon messing with the traffic lights and then entering a clothing store where the two forced Matt, TK, Gabumon and Jun into playing dress up, which involved Matt being dress up as some kind of knight with a red cape and a large shield on his left arm, TK was dressed as traveling priest with a long golden staff, Jun had been dressed in a purple yukata that had a white flower design on the back along with her hair being done in a ponytail and Gabumon had simply been placed inside of a giant teddy teddy bear costume. As soon as this is done; Tk noticed Patamon flying passed the window displayed and the four quickly shed their costumes before chasing after the flying Digimon.
Eventually they reached a park but saw no sign of Patamon in sight, and decided to take a short break from running to catch their breaths. "Well, there's no sign of Patamon around." Matt said, closing his eyes.
"But I could've sworn that Patamon flew this way." TK said, looking down sadly. "I hope that he's okay."
Matt then turned around and noticed that Jun was a few feet away from them, and was placing a couple of the posters she had on the tree around the park. He then walked towards her and tapped her shoulder, getting the girls attention. "What's up?" Jun asked, raising an eyebrow.
Matt pointed to the posters in her hands. "I've been meaning to ask why you putting all those posters around the city?" He asked, before pointing at the picture. "And, who's that little boy on it?"
Jun looked down at the posters, a sad look appearing on her face before letting a sigh. "It's... my little brother." She said, closing her eyes. "He's missing. He ran away from home and we don't know where he is."
Matt looked at Jun with a shocked expression before it turned into a sympathetic one. "I'm sorry. You and your parents must be really worried about him." He said, shaking his head.
"Yeah we are," Jun muttered, before looking down. "But it's also our fault that he ran away in the first place."
Matt was confused by what Jun had just said and was about to ask her what she meant like that, but was cut off when Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon appeared in front of them, with both having an ice cream cone in each hand. "Hey don't be sad, I'm sure you'll find your flying pig friend and the little human soon." Gotsumon said, before holding out an ice cream cone to the two. "How about some ice cream."
Matt and Jun simply stared at the two Digimon in confusion as TK and Gabumon walked over to them. "Wait a minute; you two don't have any money so how did you get that ice cream?" Gabumon asked, looking at the two Digimon in question.
"We Stole it!" The two Digimon said, still smiling. The three humans and Gabumon took a step back in shock, before they then saw a woman in a ice cream uniform running towards them. "Hey you crooks, come back he with my ice cream!" The woman shouted.
"Uh-oh." Gotsumon and Pumpkinmon said.
"Run for it!" Jun shouted, as the group began to run away from the ice cream woman. Matt then turned his head to the side and casted Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon an annoyed look. "I can't believe you two! Every where you go there's trouble!" Matt shouted, as they ran. "Next time you make someone mad, make sure they can't run very fast!"
After running for who knows how long, the group managed to shake the woman chasing them and was currently resting in a alleyway. The three human were all panting heavily; when Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon walked over to them. "So do you want some ice cream?" Pumpkinmon asked.
"Not me." Matt said.
"No thanks." Jun muttered.
"You stole it." TK exclaimed.
"Gabumon won't take it either, right?" Matt questioned. Gabumon however, looked at the ice cream in Gotsumon and Pumpkinmon hands before holding his hand out. "Gimme." He said, almost hypnotically.
"Gabumon!" Matt and TK said, glaring at the wolf Digimon.
Suddenly black clouds began to appear over the group's head, causing the three humans and Gabumon to look up. "Hey where did those clouds come from? The weather didn't say anything about rain today?" Jun questioned, confused.
Matt looked up at the sky and for some reason those clouds gave him a bad feeling. "Matt." TK said, getting his brothers attention. "I have a feeling something bads about to happen."
Just as those words left TK mouth, a bolt of red lightning shot down from the sky and hit the ground a few feet away from the group, causing everyone to cover their eyes. Eventually the intensity died down and everyone looked up to see Myotismon standing before them. "M-Myotismon!" Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon shouted, in terror.
"Myotismon?" Jun said, staring at the Digimon a bit in fear.
"Myotismon." Matt, TK and Gabumon muttered, wondering why he was here.
Myotismon gained a malevolent smirk on his face as he looked at the three humans and Gabumon, before turning his gaze towards Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon. "Pumpkinmon. Gotsumon." He said, coldly. Both Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon quickly straighten up. "Y-Yes Sir?!" They both said, nervously.
"What are you both doing here eating ice cream with the Digidestined? He questioned, staring at the two. Both Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon began to sweat nervously. "W-Well..." The two began but were cut off by Myotismon. "What happened to your search for the eight Digidestined?" Myotismon questioned.
"We haven't found him yet." The two Digimon answered.
Myotismon then gained a frown on his face, as an angry expression began to appear on his face. "Then why haven't you stolen the crest from these two Digidestined?" Myotismon questioned.
"We were just about to do that!" Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon shouted. The two Digimon then turned to face the group, shocking them as the Digimon duo stared at them menacing. Gabumon simply stared at the two, before turning to the others. "Quick Run!" He shouted.
The group immediately turned around and began to run from the three Digimon, with Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon giving chase while Myotismon stayed behind. As they were running, Jun looked back to at the two Digimon running after them. "I thought those two weren't are enemies? Jun shouted.
"Yeah, why are they about attacking us like that?" TK questioned. Matt simply shook his head. "They was no helping it! They where are enemies to begin with!" Matt shouted.
"But I can't bring myself to fight those two!" Gabumon said. He knew that they were only attacking them because they were scared of Myotismon, so he couldn't blame them for turning on them. Now what were they gonna do?
Eventually the two lost the Digimon duo but still continued to run encase the two Digimon caught up with them. As the four rounded a corner, they were greeted with the sight of Pumpkinmon standing in front of them. "How did you get their?!" TK asked.
"I'm just full of surprises." Pumpkinmon said. Matt placed his hand on TK before taking a step back. "They've cut us from the front, so let's turn back and..." Before Matt could finished his sentence, he was cut off by Jun. "Um, I don't think that gonna be an option Matt." She said, nervously.
Matt turned around and saw that Gotsumon was standing behind them, effectively trapping them. "We're trapped." TK said. Matt, TK, Jun and Gabumon began to take steps back into a small construction site, with Gotsumon and Pumpkinmon slowly advancing towards them. Eventually the four where backup to a wall, while The Digimon Duo stood in front of them menacingly. All six simply continue to stare one another down, wanting for the other to make a move.
"I quit." Pumpkinmon said, as he had a bored expression on his face.
"Yeah me to." Gotsumon said agreeing.
The Digidestined and Jun then gained surprised expressions on their faces, while Gotsumon and Pumpkinmon smiled at them. "Why should we fight, someone always gets hurt." Pumpkinmon said. "Besides it's more fun to just go around cruising the city."
"That's for sure!" Gotsumon said, nodding in agreement with Pumpkinmon. "Hey, why don't you guys hang out with us?"
Matt, TK, Jun and Gabumon where now even more confused, unable to understand how the two Digimon could change their minds from chasing them to wanting to simply hang out with them so quickly. Before they could say anything; the sound of a thunderclap appeared, with both Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon gaining scared expression on their faces. "Oh no, Myotismon coming!" Pumpkinmon exclaimed.
"Quick, go hide!" Gotsumon said.
The group of four immediately rushed over and hid behind a wall on the left side of the site, with Myotismon appearing in front of Gotsumon and Pumpkinmon just a moment after. "Where are the Digidestined?" He questioned.
"Unfortunately, we failed to catch them." Pumpkinmon lied.
"Yeah, and we almost had them too!" Gotsumon lied, also.
Myotismon simply stared down at the two Digimon, a vein appearing on the side of his head. "You... pathetic liars!" He shouted, causing Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon to step back. "I have no more use for you. Grizzly Wing!" Myotismon placed his hands together and shot out a swarm of bats from his hands towards Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon, with the two Digimon raising their hands up to prevent the bats from striking them. Pumpkinmon then looked up at Myotismon and glared at him. "Trick or Treat!" Suddenly a massive pumpkin appeared over Myotismon head and began to fall down on him, however the bats appeared and caught the Pumpkin before eating it whole. "Rock Fist!" Gotsumon then shot out a piece of rock from the top of his head, but Myotismon eyes widen and an invisible force shattered the rock into pieces. The bat then began to swarm Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon as they screamed in terror, with Matt, TK, Jun and Gabumon hearing the screams.
"Pumpkinmon!" Gabumon whispered.
"Gotsumon!" TK whispered, in horror. Matt simply pulled his brother close to him, telling him not to look. Jun simply had her hands over her ears while her eyes were shut closed, her body trembling in complete and utter fear. Once the bat's disappeared, all that remained of the two Digimon was a piece of rock and small ax, which then shattered into data. Myotismon then began to walk forward to the wall the four were hiding behind. " Now than, you four are next." He stated coldly.
Matt's body began to shake in anger, as tears appeared in his eyes. "They were good guys, they were just trying to protect them." He said, quietly. Gabumon looked towards his partner. "Matt." He whispered. Matt then turned his head, his eyes narrowed as the tears fell down his face. "You didn't have to kill them!" He shouted, as Gabumon was surrounded in a blue light.

Garurumon jumped out from behind the wall and tackled Myotismon to a building, though the evil Digimon uppercut the wolf Digimon into the air and flew after him. Matt, TK and Jun, the older male having his hands clenched into fist while the older female was staring at the two Digimon in shock and amazement. "Those guy..." Matt begun, as Garurumon landed on the ground. "Howling Blaster!" Garurumon shot blue flames from his mouth at Myotismon, the evil Digimon shielding himself with his arms as Garurumon jumped towards him. "Even if it was just for a little..." Matt continued, as Myotismon summoned a whip of red electricity to his head. "Crimson Lightning!" Myotismon thrusted the electric whip at Garurumon, sending the wolf Digimon flying back. "But they were our friends!" Matt shouted, as the Crest of Friendship glowed through his shirt. "Garurumon!"
Garurumon's body was covered in a shining dark blue light.

The wolfman Digimon flipped midair so that his feet hit the building before pushing off It and flying towards Myotismon. "Get him!" Matt roared. "WereGarurumon!"
WereGarurumon and Myotismon both reeled their fist back before shooting them forward, both fist striking one another and the resulting clash of power causing the surrounding trees, buildings and signs to crack apart. The two Digimon continue to fighting across the city, gaining the attention of the people below who were staring in shock over the two creatures fighting in the air. Matt, TK and Jun were following after the two Digimon, trying to catch up with them as the two Digimon were moving faster than they could run. They eventually manage to catch up with them and saw WereGarurumon crash into the side of building, before digging his claws into it and flipping his body to avoid one of Myotismon's Crimson Lightning attack. "Wolf Claw!" WereGarurumon jumped into the air as his nails glowed before slashing them forward and sending an X-shaped energy slash at the Myotismon. The attack hit the evil Digimon directly in the chest, sending him crashing through a building.
WereGarurumon floated down to the building and entered through the hole, landing on all fours. He looked around and saw no trace of Myotismon, only a few people a few feet from him and were looking at him in fear. "Grizzly wing!" Myotismon then appeared in front of WereGarurumon before shooting out a swarm of bats at him, sending the wolf Digimon flying out the building and crashing through a giant glowing sign. Myotismon flew out of the building as two electric whips appeared in his hands. "Crimson Lightning!" Myotismon then began to slam the two whips against WereGarurumon repeatedly, causing the wolf Digimon to scream out in pain after each hit.
"WereGarurumon!" Matt shouted, concerned for his partner.
"He's being completely overtaken by that Vampire monster!" Jun said.
TK just looked at the grim situation and couldn't help but feel like it was his fault. "Patamon wouldn't have left us if hadn't gotten so mad at him and we wouldn't have met Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon in Shibuya..." TK thought, tears appearing his eyes and his hands turned into fist. "And Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon... wouldn't have been killed by Myotismon...!"
TK then raised his head up towards the sky. "Patamon please, we need you!" He shouted. Little did TK know, Patamon could be seen flying toward the battle site and heard TK plea. "TK?" He whispered, as he was suddenly enveloped in a yellow aura.

The people on the street below where shocked and baffled as they saw what looked like an angel carrying a golden staff in his hand flying towards the two monsters fighting. Meanwhile Myotismon had WereGarurumon wrapped in his crimson lightning and was preparing to finish him, but then heard something behind him and looked to see Angemon flying towards him with his staff held over his head. Once he was close enough; Angemon brought his staff down on Myotismon, and even though the attacked missed it still manage to strike Myotismon's crimson lighting, destroying it and freeing WereGarurumon.
"Angemon?" WereGarurumon asked, as he got to his feet.
Angemon looked to his friend. "Are you alright, WereGarurumon?" He questioned, getting a nod from the Ultimate.
"Yes... somewhat." WereGarurumon answered.
A look of Happiness appeared on TK face as he saw his partner. "Angemon!" He shouted. Matt simply looked at his brother with a smile. "Your feelings must have reached TK!" He said, placing a hand on his brother's shoulder.
Jun just looked at Angemon for a second before turning to Matt and TK. "You two are by far, the strangest people I have ever met. You know that right?" She asked.
"Yeah, I sort of figure that." Matt said, turning to the girl.
Back in the air above, Angemon and Myotismon where have a stared down with one another, with neither of the two making a move before the evil Digimon gained a smirk on his face. "So you are the one who possess the Holy power?" He asked, his smirk growing. "I'm afraid that even with your power, you both still have no chance of defeating me."
"Let's do this Angemon!" WereGarurumon shouted. Angemon nodded towards the wolf Digimon. "Right." He said. WereGarurumon then jumped off the building towards Myotismon, though the evil Digimon dodged the attack but before he could make a move; Angemon appeared above him and brought his staff down on Myotismon, who blocked it with his right arm. WereGarurumon flipped around so that his feet hit the building, before shooting off it and flying towards Myotismon and Angemon. Just as he reached the two, all three Digimon were engulfed in bluish-green light that caused everyone to below to cover their eyes. When the light finally died down, Myotismon was the only one still in the air; while Gabumon and Patamon where laying on the ground a few feet away from Matt, TK and Jun.
"Gabumon/Patamon!" Matt and TK shouted, rushing over to their partners.
Myotismon simply smirked down at the Digidestined as they pulled their partners into their arms. "As I said before, neither of you were a match for me." He stated, arrogantly.
"Then how about you try me on for size." Myotismon then turned his head to his side, and turned to see Shadow floating a few feet away from him on his Hoverboard. "Sup Fang-Face. Miss me?" Shadow asked, pulling his sword out.
Myotismon remained unfazed, his smirk growing as he stared on Davis. "Ah if it isn't the child of Miracles, how have you been since our last encounter?" He asked, before shifting his gaze to the scar on Davis's cheek. "I hope that you have enjoyed in the gift I gave you since then, hmm?"
Shadow simply raised his sword up as a red aura surrounded it. "End of the road, Myotismon. I'm not letting you get away again." He said, glaring at Myotismon from behind his mask. "Today is the day you die."
Myotismon however, still seemed unfazed as he crossed his arms. "Well then is seems that we've reached a stalemate at the moment... unless I had another piece to board." He stated.
A scream then filled the air and Shadow shifted his gaze to where it came from, his eyes widening behind his mask as he saw his sister begin lifted into the air by a swarm of bats. "Help!" Jun shouted, as she struggled against the bats.
"Jun!" Matt shouted, as he watched her get closer to Myotismon.
One she was closed enough; Myotismon reached his hand out and grabbed Jun by her left arm as the bats disappeared, leaving Jun dangling above the city with Myotismon being the only thing keeping her from plummeting to the streets below. "It seems the game has changed now hmm?" He questioned, mockingly. "Now then you have a choice, either you come after me and let the girl plummet to her death, or you can save her and allow me to escape. Which will you choose?"
Davis's body shock in completely anger, his eyes narrowing in hatred as he glared at the evil Digimon before his gaze shifted towards Jun, who was staring down at the ground in terror as tears began to appear in her eyes. "Myotismon I'm warning you, leave her out of this!" He shouted
Myotismon simply continued to smirk evilly, before he released his grip on Jun arm. Jun screamed as she began to plummet towards the ground below, with Davis immediately flying down after her while Myotismon simply continue to smirk evilly. "Always the fool's choice." He said, before flying away.
Davis just continue to race down after Jun, the two growing closer and closer to the streets below as he reached his arm out to her before finally, just as they were only a few moments from hitting the ground; Davis managed to grabbed Jun from the back her sweater and pull up before they hit the ground. "Hey you okay?!" He asked her.
Jun looked up at the masked boy who saved her life but could only nod to answer his question, her mind still in shocked over her near death experience. Davis then had his Hoverboard descend towards the street and placed Jun down on the sidewalk, the girls falling to her knees the moment her feet touched the ground. "Jun! Shadow!" Davis then turned his head to see Matt, TK who was holding an unconscious Patamon in his arms and Gabumon running towards them. Matt was the first to reached the duo, getting to his knees to face the girl. "Jun are you okay?!" He asked, staring at the girl.
Jun could look at Matt for a moment before finally, the tears began fall from her eyes rapidly before she shot forward and buried her face into Matt shoulder, holding onto his arms like a lifeline. Matt simply stared at the girl in surprise but didn't make any attempt to move away from her and simply allowed her to let it out. Davis simply continue to stare at Jun's crying form, and burning anger appear in his mind as his hands turned into fist. "Myotismon..." He whispered hatefully, before shaking his head and turning to Matt. "How are Gabumon and Patamon doing?"
Matt looked up the masked wearing boy, before giving him a small smile. "They should be okay. Patamon unconscious right now, but I'm sure he'll wake up soon." He said, looking towards TK.
Davis simply nodded before turning around to make his leave. "Wait." Davis's body completely froze for a moment, before he turned his head around to see Jun looking at him. "What is it?" He asked quietly.
Jun moved away from Matt and stood up to look at the boy who saved their her life. "Shadow right? I just wanted to say, thank you for saving me." She said, bowing her head.
Behind his mask, Davis was staring at his sister in shocked as he mouth opened slightly. "Um, It was no problem." He said, trying to act calm. Jun then reached into her pocket before pulling out a picture from inside it. "Before you go, I wanted to ask something of if that's alright?" She asked, before turning the picture around so that Shadow could see it. Davis's mind suddenly froze, as he saw the picture was one of him and his family at the beach, all of them wearing a smile as he was on Jun's back.
Jun then pointed at the younger version of the photo. "The little boy in the picture, his name is Daisuke Motomiya and he's my little brother. He's missing and it's all my fault." Jun said, a guilty look appearing on her face. "I was picking on him and saying horrible things to him and then we got into fight, before he ran off into his after punching me. A few minutes later I heard crying and walked into his room to see my mother crying on the floor, before my father told me he suddenly disappeared..."
The tears began to appear in Jun's eyes again as she closed them in an attempt to prevent them from falling. "It's all my fault he disappeared and I'm scared that he's alone and hurt! All I could think about when I was falling was not being able to tell him I'm sorry for being such a horrible big sister to him!" She whispered, as she held her head low. "So I'm begging you that if you can, please find him so I can tell him how sorry I am for doing all those things him!"
Matt, TK and Gabumon all looked at Jun with sympathetic looks on their faces, feeling really sorry for the older girl as they watched her cry. Davis just stared at Jun, his mask hidden any expression on his face before he turned around. "Don't worry, I promise to do what I can to find him." He said, before disappearing in a golden flash.
Jun just stared at the location on which the masked boy had been standing, the tears continuing to fall down her face before a small smile appeared on her face. "Thank you." She whispered. Jun then felt a hand on her shoulder and turned to see Matt staring at her, giving her a comforting smile. "You don't have to worry about your little brother, I'm sure Shadow will find him and make sure he's okay." He said. "Why don't you come with to drop off my brother, and then I can walk you back to your place?"
Jun just looked at Matt before a smile appeared on her face as she wiped the tears off her eyes. "Yeah, that sounds good." She said. TK simply smiled up at Jun, and the group begin to make their way towards the train station. As they were walking, Jun turned her face to look at Matt. "So, do you mind telling me how the vampire that nearly killed me?" She asked, unsure if she would get an answer.
Matt, TK and Gabumon all looked at one another before looking at Jun with nervous expressions. "It's a long story." They all said at once."
(Back at the rooftop)
After their little reunion, Veemon and Gatomon had been talking to one another over what had happened after they had been separated. Currently, Veemon was telling Gatomon about the time Gennai had kicked him and Davis out of the house for two months. "You caused an Explosion?!" She said, staring at her friend in disbelief. Veemon simply placed a hand on his head and laughed nervously. "Yet, it wasn't one of our brightest ideas, but it did get us to Gennai's house in less then a minute. So there's that." He said, smiling.
Gatomon simply sigh as a tired smile appeared on her face. "You really haven't changed since I last saw you. You were always the one causing trouble." She said, before a sly smile appeared on her face. "Like that time with that you messed with that Vilemon..."
"Oh no, you are not bring up that incident again because if I remember correctly, you also were involved in it." He said, a smirk appearing on his face.
Before the two could break out into an argument, they were interrupted when a golden like appeared in behind them and they looked to see Davis appear on the rooftop. "Davis you're back!" Veemon said, before noticing his partner's body was shaking. "Davis?"
Davis simply raised a shaky hand up and removed his mask, allowing the two Digimon to see the tears falling down his face. He then fell down to his knees as he placed a hand over his eyes as he cried. "Davis what's wrong?!" Veemon asked, as he and Gatomon looked at Davis in worry and confusion.
Davis didn't say anything as he continued to cry, not hearing a single word spoken to him as only a single thought went through his mind. "I forgive you Jun." He thought as he continued to cry. "I forgive you."
Sweet Azulongmon, I actually cried a little after writing the last line. Hey guy's long time no see, I know it's been a long time and I just gonna say right now I have no excuse for not updating in so long and I apologize greatly for not doing so sooner and I hope you can forgive me for it. I've just been really busy with a bit of a depression like problem stuff from school and my emotions so I just haven't been able to work on stories in a really long time. Anyway I hope you enjoyed the chapter and I hoped I didn't make the Matt and Jun moments too long in this or seem to make then look like they were falling for one another to quickly. A. To answer your first questioned I guess I started watching Digimon when I was no older then around 6-7 years old, with Adventure 02 being the first season I ever watched. The answer to your second questioned, would be that I always just seem to like the idea of Davis and Kari as a couple, since I always liked how Davis was willing to risk his life just to protect her.
From Ethan Illinois Jones: Will we be seeing v-mon again anytime in the future with Davis and the legendary warriors?
A. I don't know what you are referring to seeing Veemon with Davis and the Legendary Warriors. Are you referring to the warriors from the fourth season of Digimon and if your are, the answer is no.
From Jalen890: So what is veemon going to go mega or is a new power for them like biomergeing going to come into play?
A. Veemon mega evolution will come most likely during the battle with VenomMyotismon and for how it will happen and how it will go will remain a secret until then.

A. Yes their will be more moments between each couple in the coming future.

A. As much as i would love to spare Wizardmon, his death is going to be need for something really special in the coming story arc.

Q2. When you get to venom-myotismon you gonna have veemon go mega to?
Q3. About puppetmon, you gonna change anything? Cause I feel kinda bad for him. Even though he's a dark master.
Q4. Are you gonna have a fight between Davis and TK? I mean I know you have a OC for TK, but is there gonna be a moment were those two fight over Kari?

A. For the first question, I will most likely get them together midway during the 02 saga. For the second one, Veemon will definitely go mega during the battle with VenomMyotismon. The answer for the third question is no, since to be honest i don't really like Puppetmon since both version of the show are rather sadistic and cruel. Again the answer for question number four will be no, since in my story Davis and TK will more of brotherly relationship with one another, so they most likely won't fight over Kari. To answer Q5, Veemon will turn into ExVeemon and will retain his other evolution forms but won't be able to turn into them for another reason besides the control spires. For question 6, I do have some idea for BlackWarGreymon but i can't get into to much detail about it, since i want to keep it a surprise. Number 7 is simple, i will have Tai keep his normal haircut though I'll just have him trim it to be a bit shorter. Finally for question 8, Davis and Kari will confess their feelings for one another during the 02 saga after a certain event that test the bond and friendship of the two.
Syafiq question: Well I know those situation where best friends keep secrets and when the secret reveal the best friend felt hurt or betrayed? I was wondering will kari feel hurt or betrayed in daisuke knowing the entire truth and should had tell her from the very beginning. Also what about his family will he get into good term with them again or he will remain in far away distance from them?
A. Kari will feel hurt about Davis not telling her about what had happened to him and not telling her the truth, which will cause a bit of animosity between the two for a time, but they will reconcile with one another later on during the Dark Master saga. Also Davis will make up fully with his parents most likely before the group return to the digital world.
UltimateBlack Question: Sorry for the late reply. I was going through the whole story. I kinda remember where we left off now. I don't have many questions for the story, except wonder how Tai and the rest will react when they find out that Davis knows Kari is the 8th child. Also, are Davis and Co going off to find Tai? With Davis' extra powers, will the Digidestined fade into the background and Davis is the one who takes out all the enemies? I hope that won't happen. If anything, I'm looking forward to Davis getting taken down easily because of his overconfidence in his powers. Seeing that Gennai has a more active role in this story, will he help the Digidestined more often? And finally, will Davis die? Usually this kind of story sets up for Davis' death, his reluctance to go on, or a complete loss of his powers later on. How do you plan to seal Vmon in the Digiegg of Courage and how are you going to write the Digiegg into this continuity? How will Davis' family react when he gets home? His sister Jun
is uncharacteristically b*** in this world. Finally, could you please elaborate on the timeline of this story in conjunction to the events of Adventure?
A. Well for the first two question Tai and Sora already now that Kari is the eighth Digidestined due to Davis telling them and i don't know what you mean by if Davis and the others will go to find Tai. Also the other Digidestined will not fade into background just cause Davis his power and are an essential part of the story. Davis will be defeated by the Dark Master during their first meeting, but It won't because of him being overconfident since he's learned that from Gennai that being to confident in a battle could have major consequences. Gennai will have a more active role with helping the Digidestined, and will be a key component of a major event Davis will go through during Dark Master Saga. Veemon being sealed in the Digiegg of Courage has already been thought out, and will be revealed by the end of the 01 saga how he is sealed in their. Davis and his family will reconcile with one another before the Digidestined return to the Digital world and will be more closer to one another afterwards, so look forward to that. The timeline of this story starts of like this, with the first chapter when Davis went missing from his house one hour before Tai and the others went to the Digital world. Since the Digital world was having a time anomaly, Davis spent exactly one year in the Digital world in that one hour before Tai and the others arrived in the Digital world, and afterward the rest of the story plays out exactly like the 01 saga played out but will have some changes to it as well. Finally no Davis will not die in this story in this story and I can't directly say if he will lose his powers or not, so you'll have to wait and see.
