My parents flipped out after seeing my nose, but eventually just accepted it. Honestly I think they kind of liked that I did something rebellious for once, because it made me into a normal teenager. It was now Friday, and the halls were just flooded with our school colours, teal and orange. I arrived with the girls and immediately started looking for Austin. After our little school kipping escapade he was all I could think about. He told me straight up that he was crazy for me, how could I not absolutely adore him? He was different from Dallas. Austin actually likes me, where I think Dallas is only with me for the social status. Football quarterback and head cheerleader? We're a power couple. It just makes sense that we would be together.
The girls and I didn't have to stay long at school because we were granted permission to leave and get ready for the pep assembly. The girls kept giving me shit for my new piercing, telling me that Austin was corrupting me; I didn't care and eventually just blocked them out. Even though I had stopped listening, it didn't prevent them from running their mouths as we got our hair and nails done. When we returned about twenty minutes before the assembly, we met with the guys in the office and took lots of pictures, mainly for the yearbook. Dallas freaked out more than my parents did about the thing in my nose, but I knew it was because he knew who I had gotten it done with.
"I thought I told you to stop fucking hanging out with him." He practically growled in my ear just before it was our turn to enter the packed gymnasium.
"Don't get me all worked up right now. This is the moment I have been dreaming of since freshman year, I am not dealing with your ass right now." I retorted, earning a surprised look from him. I don't think he was expecting me to actually grow a backbone. Before he could actually say anything else to me, we were motioned to make our entrance.
"Dallas Summer and Ally Dawson." I hooked my arm with his and put on a fake smile as he escorted me across the floor. I was mainly worried about falling in my heels or tripping on my dress, but I soon forgot that when I looked around at everyone who was cheering for us. I quickly located the twins in the freshman section and blew them a kiss, earning lots of wolf whistles from their friends. I simply smiled and continued walking with Dallas, scanning the senior section right after. I didn't see Austin at all, which really upset me. I was hoping that he would have been there to support me and out an actual genuine smile on my face. We finally reached our seats and took them, sitting next to our friends and fellow court members. This was honestly one of the best moments of my life, even if my boyfriend and I were now fighting.
Since it was senior year I refused to stay in my dress until halftime. The girls agreed with me and also put on their uniforms. This was our last homecoming; there was no way that we were just going to sit out. The game was intense and I had already begun to lose my voice not even half way into the second quarter. By the time halftime came around, the score was tied. The five boys on court came running to join us as we lined up on the track and waited for the announcement of what grade won spirit week and who won king and queen. I had to admit that we all looked cute seeing as we were all cheerleader-football player couples. The announcer soon came over the speaker system, filling in everyone on what was going on in the community before getting to the spirit week stuff.
"The grade that won spirit week is the seniors. Accepting the spirit jug will be the class president, Ally Dawson." Everyone cheered as two members of the faculty presented me the heavy, teal spirit jug. I held it up and smiled before the announcer continued "And now for the moment you have all been waiting for. The homecoming king and queen this year are Dallas Summer and Ally Dawson." Everyone cheered again, as Dallas and I was presented with the crowns. He gave me a quick kiss as other members of the student council presented me with a large bouquet of red roses. I fake smiled, putting on a show for everyone, but in reality, I hated that Dallas did that. He was honestly getting on my last nerve. He had gotten in my face earlier and now was acting all cute, like nothing was wrong. I knew it was all an act and that just pissed me off I was so over Dallas Summer.
At the end of the game Dallas came to hug me and I congratulated him on his winning victory of winning the last game.
"We're leaving after this. You're coming back to my place." He whispered into my ear before kissing my jaw line and neck. I cringed at the thought and flinched a little as his lips touched my kin again. Every time he tried to kiss me, I found myself pulling back and making a face. I was absolutely repulsed by him and the thought of sleeping with him made me sick to my stomach. When we left the field Dallas made sure to say bye to our friends. While he was doing so, I took the chance to sneak off and make a phone call as I walked out into the parking lot. I was surprised when the phone was answered just after the first ring.
"Hey Princess." His deep voice greeted.
"Hi I know this is a lot to ask but can you come and get me from the school? I rode with Dallas and-"
"Say no more. I'll be there in ten." He said before hanging up. I smiled a bit and clutched my phone to my body as I waited. I didn't even care that I was leaving my belongings in Dallas' car; I just wanted to get out of here. I had to get away from Dallas. There was no way I was going to sleep with him, especially when dating him is becoming dreadful. Exactly ten minutes later, Austin came pulling up on his crotch rocket, spare helmet sitting in between his leg. He flipped up the face mask, giving me a wink as I neared and took the helmet from him. Before I got on the bike, he shrugged off his jacket and handed it to me, knowing that I was going to be cold. I smiled and slipped it on before taking off my crown, slipping it into the jacket pocket with my phone, and pulling on the helmet. Just as I got on the back of his ride, Dallas came outside, he started yelling my name, trying to get my attention, but I want having it. I gave Austin's torso a slight squeeze, wordlessly telling him to floor it. When Dallas came running towards the two of us, Austin flipped him off before speeding away with me holding tightly onto him, feeling as if this is where I actually belonged.
