Hi! First of all I apologize for being so late, I didn´t really have ideas, since my cat died about three weeks ago.

This is a "T" rated chapter! Not for violence, but it contains a speech that could be misunderstood. But You´re smart, you´re going to get it right! I do not want to humiliate or anger anyone with this speech! And I am no supporter of war!

Sunlight woke Puppet up, she got dressed as quickly as she could and ran down the stairs. Then she grabbed a basket of sweet, fresh buns and ran out onto the street.

They would be leaving today! This would be the last time she would see Dark! But she was prepared, he would take the buns with him, he and his friends could share them! Puppet smiled, he was always careless and happy when he was around his friends and she wanted to remember him that way. Happy and not alone. The parade would be fun. She would get to see other women and maybe even find someone she could spend her time with when Dark was gone.

She stepped onto the street and fresh cold air greeted her. The day´s first sunshine wasn´t enough to heat the air up. Puppet turned her head to see if the army was coming. She stood there for almost half an hour. The wind didn´t grew warmer and she started to shiver. Other women, old men and children came out of their houses. Some of them had baskets like hers ,some of them carried flowers. After another hour of waiting people started to whisper. "They´re already gone! They left earlier!"

Puppet shook her head. She refused to believe that. Rumors, she told herself. Just rumors. A girl on the other side of the street shook her head as well, she was carrying flowers. A small group of people started to form: "We´re going to the barracks see if they are still there!", the voice belonged to a man with a limp leg. Puppet, still not believing what they said, felt her feet moving towards the group.

When they reached the gate to the barracks they found it to be open. The small group went inside, curious why it was this way. No one was guarding the gate, and no voice could be heard on the entire courtyard. Puppet walked up to the big building in the middle of the yard. It was an assembly hall. But the big tables where clean, the chairs stood in a neat row on the side of the building. Somebody had cleaned everything up before they left.

Puppet clenched her hand. She felt her eyes water up and seconds later the tears were running down her cheeks. The people where right. They had left. Dark was gone. She stared down into her basket, suddenly her buns were looking burned and disgusting, useless- she thought.

A noise caught her attention. The girl with the bouquet was crouched on the ground, had her face in her hands and was sobbing. The bouquet was lying next to her in the dust. Red carnations, forget-me-nots and yarrow. Puppet remembered the flower language that she had heard about. The girl was left just like her. She walked over and handed her one of the buns. " I can´t give them away now, if you want to, you can have one." The girl took it "thank you." Puppet watched her as she ate her creation.

This wasn´t intended for the girl. Not at all. This was intended for Dark and his companions. She took one and crushed it in her hand. She felt the crust break into parts between her fingers. More tears started to flow. This was not fair. She squeezed the bun in her fist. Bits of it fell to the floor. She opened her hand again.

Her sadness turned into anger. Against herself ,against this world, against Dark. She was alone again. But this time it hurt a lot more. This time she hadn´t been left, this time it hadn´t been impossible. This time she had been too late. She cursed herself for being stupid and waiting so long, for not getting up early enough and for hiding behind her shell .

Ganon and Ganondorf explored the world of shadow. They looked for a passage in the realm that Ganon used to make his shadow doppelganger. They used things from Hyrule and their new world and tried to make shadow duplicates from them. It worked for both worlds, proving that there was a link between them, that went through the shadow world. Now they were working on a way to get an object from one world into the other world.

Both of them were angry about the fact that Dark had left them, they needed him to find out more about the shadow realms and what they were made of. Ganon considered Dark an "inhabitant" of this realm. Puppet wasn´t useful, her body was made differently than Dark´s. Their days were filled with experiments and fights but after a week they had finished their project. A sort of magic portal between the two worlds.

Too bad it didn´t work. In theory it was supposed to warp a person and itself into the shadow realm. Then it could be used again to get that person into Hyrule. But in reality it just required too much magic to work and in this world, magic was almost impossible to find. Ganondorf had started a quest to buy magic amulets, stones and drinks, but none of them were actually magical.

Ganon on the other hand had his mind set on a different plan. He found out that he could undo magic spells and got the magic energy, that he had used, back. The Gerudo cursed the princess and the sages for leaving him with nothing but his clothes weapons and Dark. His other magic creations would have been great fuel for their machine, now the only fuel he had left was Dark. And this bastard was currently away playing peasant or soldier or something like that.

The "peasant" was walking through mud and rain. It soaked his clothes, making them heavy and cold. But that wasn´t his biggest problem. Their army was on the way to their first battle. They had reached the city of Surtin, the soon-to-be fortress of their king. Marcus was on his left, Kent and Virgil were on his right. Arthur was walking somewhere in front of them. Dark gripped his rifle a little tighter. He felt something new, something he had never felt before. The others called the feeling excitement. It made his heart beat faster and his fingers tremble.

No one spoke a world as they reached the field in front of the city. For the first time Dark saw their enemy. The others looked just like him, men with riffles and canons. Their uniforms where yellow and blue, instead of grey and dark green like his, but everything else was the same. Except for his emotions. Fear was taking over his head. He had seen the effects of canons and rifles, now he was staring into dozens of open black holes and the angry faces of others who wanted to kill him. Suddenly the riffle in his hand seemed to be made out of solid iron. Heavy to the point where you can´t carry it anymore. It was just as dangerous as the rifles Dark was staring at. He was just as dangerous as the men on the other side of the field. He would have to shoot them, watch them fall, kill them.

The others were probably thinking the same. Marcus was praying to a god, Virgil gulped and Kent ran his hand through his hair and sighted nervously. Someone in front of them laughed. His comrade kicked him. Suddenly Arthur turned around:"Halt! Form your straight lines! No one walks or shoots before I say so! Get the canons ready!"

The soldiers followed their orders. Dark went to his place in the second line. Kent stood in front of him. The canons were made ready, the cavalry formed their formation, drums started to play a fast but steady tune. The other army on the other side of the field was doing the same.

Arthur watched them with a face as emotionless as a stone. His mouth was a straight line and his eyes looked at every soldiers face with a cold glare. He was just as nervous and afraid as them.

General Sandler walked in front of the lines. These were the last second before the battle. "Soldiers, now we face our enemy for the first time! We´re here to take back what that army over there stole from us hundred years ago! All of it will belong to us again, wealth will warm every cold house in every village. The laughter of children will fill the air, if we fill it with the trumpets of our fire and our courage, today! Comfort and happiness will be the prize for our fight and honor will be in every house and with every family that has send a son for this great battle. No one shall starve anymore, never again will enemy´s attack our villages. We will be the greatest power on this part of the earth and you´re here today to fulfill that goal! you have the power to accomplish all of this, don´t be afraid, the faith is on our side. Fight for your country, your ancestors and you family! Soldiers we will crush these maggots before us, these beings that crippled our land and brought suffering over everyone that lives in it!"

Shadow shook his head, he didn´t really listen to what the man had said. Weird twisted words about luck and happiness and honor, whatever that actually was. They started walking. The yellow General lifted his arm. The first row of the other army went on their knees and both the first and the second row pointed their rifles at him and his comrades.

"Fire"

The rest was screaming and smoke.
