CHAPTER ELEVEN

Souhei's panic level began rising beyond 100 percent making him spout random worries into the air. Kyoya admitted mentally that he would love to lose control like Souhei but he then smacked himself. That would get them nowhere. As Souhei lost himself even more, Kyoya took the opportunity to glance around the room and hopefully come up with a plan. In the corner of the room a small window greeted Kyoya's vision. Hurrying over he uses the back of the breaker to climb up. He rolls his eyes after trying to open it; locked. Kyoya stands and tries kicking the glass out; reinforced. He would need something else.

"Souhei how much time is left?"

"S-six minutes," he sobs.

"I need you to calm down and look for anything that could be used as a weapon."

"Weapon?" He gawks up at Kyoya.

"There is a window up here."

"Oh!" Souhei yelps happily searching for their way to safety. With three minutes left Souhei finally returns to Kyoya who had been trying to break the glass with his body. He held up a pipe. "Will this do?"

"We'll find out," Kyoya answers snatching the pipe and swings. Souhei claps like a child when the glass shatters. Both freeze when a loud beeping echoes through the room. Souhei runs back to the time and screams before rejoining Kyoya.

"We have thirty seconds!" he yells, clumsily climbing up. Kyoya crawled through first before turning around to help Souhei out; however Kyoya did not save him. The timer went off destroying that part of the building sending Kyoya backwards. When Kyoya got to his feet he witnessed the destruction Keiichi caused. People could be heard screaming from inside the building as they fled the building, smoke and fire engulfed where Kyoya had just been. Kyoya would always remember Souhei's tear streaked face before he died.

"Did you have fun Kyoya?" Keiichi asked when Kyoya answered his phone.

"Fun?! I just watched a man die Keiichi! We had ten seconds left, why did you kill him?!"

"I suppose you don't want to save your son," Keiichi said as Kyoya heard a gun being cocked.

"How many hints are there?"

"Now we're talking!" Keiichi laughs. "There are four more. You have your first hint so hurry up. You only have two hours to get there." He hung up. When the detective arrived Kyoya explained what happened and watched police run about. This was a familiar scene he did not like.

"Kyoya Ootori," Detective Takano, the one from Tsuyoshi's school, sternly says as he approaches the cool type host. "I know you want to get your son back but you need our help."

"Keiichi would rather the police to not be involved."

"So you are willing to play his game?" Detective Takano hollers.

"And you believe you can save my son before anything happens to him?" Kyoya challenges.

"Listen we need each other. You know where he will be and we can stop him. Just trust us.

"I am not a trusting man, Detective."

Ignoring everyone in his path, Kyoya makes his way to the twisted maiden. No matter how many times he tried thinking of another meaning to the hint he could only admit that the museum was where he had to go next. Now he found himself standing in the small room with the twisted maiden. The twisted maiden was a statue of a handsome woman wearing a fancy robe whose face showed immense pain. It was a breathtaking piece of art work but Kyoya could not enjoy its dark beauty. Eyeing the room it was obvious no police could be seen; Kyoya hoped this would work. Their plan only would work if Keiichi showed up; Kyoya had a wire on him letting Detective Takano hear everything being said. A few snipers were stationed on the floor above Kyoya watching his every move. Kyoya's heart sank to his stomach when he saw Tsuyoshi staring at the statue. With Caution, Kyoya approached Tsuyoshi.

"Tsuyoshi," Kyoya had knelt down and turned his son towards him. Tsuyoshi was crying.

"I'm sorry daddy." Tsuyoshi unzips his jacket revealing a bomb attached to his chest. Kyoya's breath caught in his throat. Kyoya zipped the jacket back up before Tsuyoshi lead his daddy to Keiichi. Keiichi had blended in with the crowd which was rather easy in this small room. He was sitting on a bench across from the twisted maiden; a wide grin on his face.

"K-y-o-y-a-k-u-n," Keiichi giggled. "How do you like my game so far?"

"You must have prepared this for a long time."

"Hmm. Yes and no. I had the idea and equipment to play these games but never anyone close to you to kidnap. Of course that changed when I saw your son."

"You blame me for running your career."

"Well duh. Who else would I blame?"

"It was your own fault I fired you."

"Let's talk. Just you and me," Keiichi yawns before ripping open Kyoya's shirt and yanking the wire off. "Just couldn't play by the rules huh boos?" he tosses it on the ground and steps on it. Kyoya was now alone with Keiichi who was grinning wildly at his ex boss.
