Hi beautiful readers! As I said last chapter, I haven't really had any time, so this was really rushed, but I just COULDN'T leave you with nothing... Hope you enjoy this short and not-so-good chapter xx
China was once again roaming around the castle. She'd had yet another nightmare, the same as last time, but time didn't make it any better, like when you watch a horror movie, and even though you've watched it a thousand times, you always jump when the baddie bursts out of his hiding place to get your favourite character. For China, the nightmare was like that, only much, much worse. Imagine the baddie coming to get you, in real life, then times that fear by ten. That pretty much sums up how China felt. Every time.
She had woken at about 3am, and as usual, she could not force herself back to sleep. She was really bored, until she had a sudden thought. Surely there was a dungeon in this huge place? For an hour or so she sat and tried to think where it would be.
The dining room? No - too easily noticed.
The toilets? No - WAY to tacky.
The bedroom? No - too obvious.
Serpine's study? She jumped up. Yes! It must be!
She hunted around his study and found it almost immediately. A faintly glowing, blue triangle behind the desk. How could she not have noticed it before? She lightly brushed her manicured finger over the symbol, and a crack appeared in the wall. With a sly grin, she stepped through.
