Me: Whooooohooooo! I have eleven chapters! *does awkward victory dance*

Lizzie: Uh . . . let's see . . . a shout out to Guest, Lya200, Rosie Silver, and Piinkielollipop. You all get . . . special Zane waffles!

Zane: *hands out waffles* ####### ###### ####### ####### #######

Okay, I'll see if I can answer review questions . . . I'll try to do this more often, so if you have a question, now is when you ask them, assuming I'm not gonna be lazy and forget about them.

Guest: Okay, my plan is that the longer the story goes on, the more her evil will start to show. Then, assuming I let her live that long, she will hopefully be purified in the final battle.

Lya200: If you haven't already guessed, she was kidnapped for Lloyd, because he wants answers. Well, by the snakes, but Lloyd ordered them to capture her.

Rosie Silver: Yeah, I know they have pretty similar personalities. Laney is a bit more outgoing, Mia is a lot more sarcastic, Lizzie is more the quiet type, and Kayla is more like Kai. Or at least I'm hoping that's what's happening.

And finally, Piinkielollipop: Thank you! I really appreciate it! Your story is really good, too. Ahem, update, ahem. And yes, Sky, you are a dragon in my story. I had just read a chapter in your story before typing a chapter in my story, and it just kinda . . . happened.

So anyway! Thank you so much for reviews, and I hope you like the chapter! Oh, and please check out my new one shot!

Kayla: WAIT!

Me: Yes?

Kayla: Well, you forgot to say that you only own us, and part of the plot, but not the ninja.

Me: Oh, thanks.

Kayla: *whispers*

Me: Fine . . . you *whispers* Green Ninja

Kayla: That long?! But you said Lizzie and *whispers*

Me: Just start the story while Kayla tries to kill me! *dodges whip*

Laney's POV

I groan and wake up in a cage suspended from a tree branch. Okay, where am I? Besides the obvious. Is this a giant . . . treehouse?

Blue snakes slither around below me, and I notice a square platform a few feet from the wooden bars of my cage. What happened? Let's see . . . I was fighting snakes . . . got hit in the head . . . and that's all I remember. Wait . . . I frantically felt around for my bo staff. Those little freaks are gonna pay . . .

I pulled my fingers through the tangles in my dark brown hair, and felt a large knot on the back of my head. Oh crap . . . What did they hit me with?!

My fingers didn't do much to help my matted hair, so I pulled it up into a ponytail, hoping it looked okay. A hiss from behind me alerted me to the fact that something was on the platform.

A snake with a tail and Lloyd were waiting for me to notice them. Lloyd nodded to the snake, and it slithered off.

"I heard that you're my sister." he snapped.

"Yes, I am."

His face put on a hurt look, and he looked at me with a pleading look in his eyes. "Then why did you leave me?"

I gently smiled back at him. "It's not like I wanted to. M-our father sent me off to another world, before something brought us here."

His face hardened. "Us?"

"Yes, us. My 'sister'" I made sure to make air quotes to specify that I wasn't really related to her, "and my best friend."

"Did you ever . . . think of me?"

"I didn't remember you until I got here . . . I'm sorry . . ."

The hurt look on his face returned. "You will stay here until the General and I decide what to do with you." He stalked off, joining the snake with the tail. General . . .

Kayla's POV

I cracked my whip again and again, successfully destroying the dummy. Laney was gone . . .

My rage had been slowed, and now it was only a pulsing in my head, not a throbbing anger needing to be let out. For once, the boys were out training instead of playing video games.

Kai was doing spinjitzu, Jay was swinging his nunchucks around, Cole was attacking dummies with his scythe, Lizzie was trying to help Mia with her aim, Nya was off . . . somewhere, and Zane was . . . meditating?

His eyes shot open, and he bolted up, shurikens at the ready. He ran past Jay, leaving Jay confused and an arrow got stuck in his nunchucks. He grabbed Cole's scythe and cut one of the moving dummies in half. Cole looked at him strange, and I tried not to giggle. I do NOT giggle.

"Ninja-go!" he yelled, and did spinjitzu across the whole training course, covering it in ice, and making those that were moving fall on their butts. Like me.

We all carefully made our way over to Cole and Jay as they angrily stared at Zane fighting imaginary enemies.

"This roof isn't big enough for the eight of us." Kai growled.

"Correction. This roof isn't big enough for him." Cole replied.

"Amen to that . . ." I mumbled. They snickered a bit, except for Lizzie. She stared at Zane, and when I nudged her, she blushed.

"It's like he's in his own little world." Jay said thoughtfully. He raised his voice a little. "I bet he can't even hear us!"

Lizzie glared at him, and he withered a bit under her glare.

Sensei walked out toward us, and Lizzie and Mia went back to practicing.

"Sensei . . . Zane's . . . weird." Kai managed. Yeah, just a little bit. He's silent half the time, and he has these really weird . . . moments . . .

"What is weird?" Sensei asked. Ugh, not another rhetorical question! "Someone who is different, or someone who is different than you?"

This time, Cole stepped up. "No, Sensei. He's weird weird."

Flashbacks

I slowly slip under the covers, taking care of my sprained wrist, even though it was almost healed. I really didn't need to do this again.

My eyes are only just beginning to close when I realize how tired I am. No one else is in our room yet, except me, and I'm glad. I never would fall asleep if they were here.

My consciousness drift off, and I only have a moment to wonder why it's getting colder.

When I slowly open my eyes again, I notice two things. 1., the room is covered in frost. 2, Zane is meditating on my feet.

I shriek, and he looks up, startled, before waving and continuing to meditate. I mean, who does that?!

Me: Hey, sorry this took so long. I'll try to update again soon!
