And to think I was not going to have any serious flashbacks...
Well, things have been going on...better than I expected. Seems like my story isn't half bad as I think it is.
Good. I've needed a change of mood.
Now, who's ready for torment?

Chapter 1-11:Define Pain
No...
No...no...
...
NO!
NOT HIM!
I thought...he...was...
NO!
He can't be here! He...
He...
...
No...
No...
NO!
I can't handle this!
He can't be alive!
NOT HIM...!
NOT FLAMEL...!
Eliza felt...cold. He was normally warmed by the raw kinetic energy that powered his plasma abilities, but it was no longer there.
He dared to open his eye. Nothing.
He opened the other eye. Again, nothing.
He sat up, a strong ache racking his body. He felt the cold metal table he was sitting on, making his chill body even colder. He just stared into the pitch black and sat extremely still, waiting for something to happen in the uncomfortable silence.
"C...Cal...Calico...?" He barely managed to whisper, his throat as dry as the sand.
"No, not him," a voice spoke out, "I believe it it something much worse..."
The light turned on, revealing a red being standing at the doorway. Eliza just sat there, unable to do anything except stare at the being.
"Oh, Muaka got your tongue?" the red being said. "oh, right...you're as cold as mount Ihu right now, aren't you?"
Silence.
"I'll take that as a yes," he said again, "I'll introduce myself-I am Makuta Flamel, in control of fire-"
Eliza's eyes seemed to light up the slightest bit to a bright purple when Flamel said 'fire'.
"-fire, in which I will not give you any." he continued.
Eliza's eyes went back down to a dark magenta color. He then laid back down on the table.
"Oh, right, you're probably wondering why, and how, you got here," Flamel said again, "we'll get to that later, once the muaka has had its meal."
Eliza just looked at him like a statue. "You didn't get it do you?" Flamel said, "I was referring to the time I said quote, 'muaka got your tongue'."
Silence.
"Well, that was a rather fun conversation anyway," Flamel said, his dark red eyes gleaming with joy. "It's not every day you get to talk to an 'all-mighty' Toa. See you later, Eliza."
He exited the room, turning off the lights. Eliza waited for him to be gone, then began to shiver.
"Eliza? ELIZA? Damn, shouldn't have let him run away like that...Eliza?! Where are you?!"
Eliza woke up from his uncomfortably cold sleep. He ached even more, and the cold nearly made him freeze. He could barely feel his mask.
He tried his best to get up, to no avail. He just was too cold, too weak, too alone.
The lights turned back on. He didn't have to guess who it was.
"Hello there, Eliza buddy!" Flamel shouted, "how do you think of your new home, eh? Oh, did I not hint on our first visit that you will be here for a very, very, long time?" he chuckled slightly, which made Eliza flinch the slightest bit. "I'm so very sorry, I guarantee you, it will be very, very...painful."
He heard footsteps coming towards him. He saw Flamel's mask of possession hover over his face.
"Now, you probably can't move right now. Well, we're fixing that right now." Flamel grabbed Eliza's arm. Then, with a forceful pull, moved Eliza's arm.
A high pitched croak came from Eliza. He could hear cracking from his arm, signifying that he got so cold that his arm froze. When Flamel pulled it, the frost broke and Eliza felt the excruciating pain.
"One limb down, three to go!" Flamel happily said.
One by one, Flamel grabbed each of his limbs and bent them into shape. Eliza croaked every time he did so, not having enough moisture in his throat to scream. That terrified Eliza to his core.
Once Flamel did his right leg, he walked over back over his head.
"Wait...I forgot your head, didn't I?" Flamel said. "How silly of me, apologies!"
He grabbed both sides of Eliza's Suletu. Eliza braced for it.
Flamel gathered strength and pulled.
"Wh...wha..."
"Shh...I'm getting you out of here..."
Eliza felt cold again. He shivered at how much he felt this way. Either that, or he was shivering because of the cold.
...
He tried to get up. He felt smooth rock on his back as he did so. He could hear footsteps coming at him.
"No...no...no..."
"Eliza?" Calico said, entering the cave. "Are you...alright? You look a little...well...paler."
Eliza sighed in relief. He hadn't realized he had been holding his breath. "Oh...it's you...I...I thought..."
"What?" Calico said, "is this about that Flamel fellow? What's the big deal about that guy?"
Eliza felt silence come up again. "Um...can we...not talk about it? Like, at any point in time?"
Calico frowned. "Well, I guess for the time being...but you'll have to explain yourself at some point in time." He walked over to Eliza and sat down next to him. "So...what's next?"
Eliza reeled back. "Wait...what?"
"Um...we still need to get to Africa, remember?" Calico said. "Rescue the Borog, save the world? You know, TOA stuff?"
"Um, yes...uh, of course..." Eliza stammered, "I...I'll just..."
"What's with you, man?" Calico said. "What happened back there with Lyarch?"
Eliza felt the silence creeping back up. He knew he couldn't hold it back for long. Not from his only friend.
"Calico," he said, "do you know who Flamel is?"
"They...WHAT?!"
"Sir, please calm down..." the Scaro courier said.
"How CAN I?!" The other said in anger. "How could Lyarch, the most wise and intelligent mutagist out there, risk OUR VERY WORK for the sake of two stupid, belligerent...TOA?"
"Sir..."
"NO!" he yelled. "Heh...and to think he was a good Lieutenant..."
"Um...sir..."
"Do you know what they say, 'it's bad luck to kill the messenger'"?
"Uh..."
"Well, too bad...I ALWAYS kill the messenger..."
"...and...that's it." Eliza said.
Calico was staring at Eliza with a small bit of horror. "Wait...so let me get this straight...you are terrified of death and despise killing anything because a psycotic makuta tortured you so much that you just wanted to die?"
"I also was terrified of the thought, brother," Eliza continued, "I couldn't imagine how I could leave everything I had worked to maintain..." he stopped, and invoulintarily began to shiver.
Calico went up to him and put his arm around his shivering form. "I'ts okay, Eliza. I'm here, that's what matters. I'll never doubt your judgement."
Eliza looked at him and smiled slightly. "Thank you brother. I can't imagine-"
"Don't...say anything else..." Calico said, "you should probably take a nap, because you're shivering at an unntatural frequency..."
Eliza pushed Calico, knocking him down chuckling. "Shut up, dude..."
Calico got up from the push. "Seriously, I would like it if we got some sleep. It's nearly dark out."
"Okay, brother," Eliza said, "I will." He turned around and laid down among the many rocks and small patches of grass on the ground. Calico did the same. They stayed there i silence before Eliza said, "Calico...I wonder...did any other Toa ever-uh-follow us here? I mean, to this planet?"
Calico turned to Eliza. "I'm not sure if I would know, Eliza. I guess it's a possibility." Then he rolled around, away from Eliza.
He rolled around too, and thoght about what he had just said. He hoped to Mata-Nui that no one followed them.
At least, not HIM. In Eliza's words, the true meaning of pain.
Natalia felt a rush of energy that she had never felt in her entire life.
She never thought that someone like her would possibly find someone else as more than a freind. Especialy not someone like Stein.
She could almost remember how the entire thing started. When she first met him as a simple 'solider' in the Borog army, she had little interest in his 'feelings'. However, as time went on, he began to act strangely around her. He would ofte stutter and correct himself, as well as not pertain eye contact with her at times.
One time, she asked why he was acting like this. He responded by asking for some room, and not showing up the rest of the day.
Several weeks passed, and he had been promoted to commander for a 'selfless deed' he performed in the feild. He asked her to come to his home in Austraila, in a small area known as Cooper Pedy.
She arrived, and they talked for hours. At one point, however, Stein heasitated for a second or two. Then, he said, "Do you know what love is?"
"No," she said, "if it's something irrelivant, I don't want to hear it."
"Just...listen..." he said.
Then he went on a long rant about how love was a feeling pepole have when they care for each other very much. It is the most powerful feeling in the whole universe, and it can keep two beings together for the longest of times.
Then, he said, "I-I care about you as much..."
She felt...flattered. She...did kind of feel a rush of warmth when she meets him, and she is always waiting for their next meeting.
So, instead of smacking him like she normaly would've, she leaned in...
and...
...
The more she thinks about it, the more she feels that that the next thing she did was horrible.
To wipe out the people that he held dear, to betray the trust he had instilled in her the day they met, was more terrible than anything a makuta could've done to the dozens of matoran in one village.
He cut off communication with her after that. He felt anger just build inside him, and the guilt that Natalia felt grew stronger and stronger with every passing day. However, their reunion finaly sparked the match that laid dormant for several months.
If she were to define pain, it would be of a psycological nature.
"Adan, Grinlock, Piglet," Natalia said, "I think it's time."
"Are you sure, Toa?" Adan said, "I don't think the troublemakers will welcome our presence. Considering our...previous exploits."
Natalia looked over to the animals. "Well, what do you think?"
Grinlock and Piglet looked at each other. Then, they turned back to her and both barked and a mix between an oink and 'caw', respectively.
"Well, best two out of three, eh?" Natalia said. "After all, we both know that there is a new threat on the horizon: the manevolent makuta known as Flamel."
"Okay...just try not to screw this up, okay? I don't want to get blasd-oed by some magnetic burst."
Natalia smiled in the dark African cave. "Don't worry. Toa get along really well."
I HATE MUSHY STUFF.
I HATE IT, HATE IT, HATE IT!
But alas, it is supposed to provide a deep meaning to abruptly get broken, so it's included.
Spoilers, HO!
