PIT!
Pit: NO!
Samus: I'll do it. Ahem, dear Yolo, hello to you too! And yes, Viridi was.
Viridi: WASN'T MINE!
Lucina: HE OWES ME LUNCH!
Pit: Hmmph.
Samus: Right... Anyway. Dear X...
Pit: I TOOK A CROWBAR TO THE FACE, GIVE ME A BREAK!
(Random off key trumpet.)
Lucina: DAMMIT KING.
SHUT UP.
Lucina pulled up to the City Hall. After stubbing out her cigar and mumbling some insult about smoking rules, she grabbed the request forms and walked in. To her left were the phone answerers, and to the right was the hallway. In it was the vault, the break room, and the stairs. Where did those lead? Why Mayor Hardass's office!
Joy... Lucina dryly thought.
"OH GOD MAKE IT END..." Lucina rushed up and ran to the stairs.
M.H slumped at his ornate desk. "HAVE A HEART!" He shouted. "I CAN ONLY HANDLE SO MUCH!"
Lucina stared at the sight. M.H was surrounded by paper, all needing his signature. But what had Lucina's attention was who else was in the room. REFLET. Yes, Reflet the apparently former stripper known as Robin. "So... What's going on here?"
Reflet looked up from her postion on her swivel chair. "Oh Lucina, how nice of you to show up!"
"Yeah, I needed to drop off some papers," M.H groaned some more at papers, "But until then, why are you here, and so... Nice looking?" It was true. Reflet was in a sweater, skirt, and the like. She almost looked like a...
"In case it's not obvious, the Mayor hired me as his personal assitant/secretary." Reflet then looked back at the Mayor. "But, if he doesn't get working, I'll break out the PERSONAL motivation." The Mayor shot up and started signing like a madman.
Lucina raised a brow. "What's... personal motivation?"
Reflet grinned and raised a finger sparking with Thunder Magic. "This job has it's perks I must say." Lucina decided to leave it be and move on...
Lucina got in her car and started to drive off. She was planning to go have lunch with everyone at Kirby's. What's Kirby's? Basically, a diner, but more specifically, the diner EVERY SVPD cop goes to for meetups.
Lucina walked in, signaled by the star shaped bell that tinked. The place was cozy, as Kirby had intended. A bar up front, and tables for the larger groups. Pit, Lucario, Greninja, and Link all sat at the Bar, making her last. Again. Dammit...
Kirby waved from the grill, his chef hat lopped to one side. "HI LUCINA!" Lucina waved back before sitting next to Lucario, who turned with half of a Philly and Cheesesteak sandwich in his mouth. He muffled out a greeting.
"Hi to you too..."
Kirby came with his little notepad and pencil to take her order. She ordered a basket of cheese fries. Say what you will about Lucina, but damn it, she WILL have a bit of greasy goodness every now and then! As Kirby started cooking it, she turned to the others. "So, what's good?"
"Well, Viridi and Palutena made the regretted chice of watching Fifty Shades of Grey." Pit replied, before taking a long sip of his own creation here, the Drink of the Gods. It was among the many creations that visitors of the diner had suggested to Kirby, who had them added to the menu.
"I stopped a robbery!" Lucario said. He had stopped the robbery of a Postal Office yesterday. It was small, but after the recent string of events, then the drop in crime, things had gotten boring, so Lucario was happy with it.
"Well, I finally asked Zelda out for lunch." Link was brave by most people standards, but he turned to jelly when he was around Zelda. Lucina wouldn't be suprised if he wasn't just lying and ZELDA had asked him out.
"I went home for a bit." Greninja was an immigrant from the Kalos region, and she lived in a tree. Yep... Regrdless, she lived with her 'siblings' a Delphox and a Chestnaught. She had come here from her region, and ended up with a cop job. She had taken a week off to go vist them, and it went well enough.
Lucina sighed. "I've done NOTHING." Then Kirby came by with her food. Lucina thanked him and bit into a fry, before turning back to the others. "I dropped off the papers and saw some things I question, but still, that's about it."
Pit cupped his chin. "You're right, it has been a snore of a week..." Greninja and the others nodded. Then, Link's phone rang. He answered. "Hello? Woah, Lyn calm it! Now, what is it?" He lstened, before hanging up and grabbing his coat. "Load up, we got a married couple at the airport with guns."
Lucina grabbed her fries. "Not happy with service?"
"Yep."
I don't even know what this chapter is...
