"YOWWWW!" Meowth was kicked hard in the side of the face. Jessie and James quickly turned to investigate what hit Meowth. They saw a Buneary standing there, almost angry at Team Rocket.
"Awwww, how cute! That thing couldn't be harmful at all!" exclaimed Jessie.
James attempted to pet the Buneary. He was met by a harsh kick in the ribs.
"OWWWWW! GET THAT THING NOW!" James yelled angrily.
The Buneary hopped beside Lillie, and she flinched at the Rabbit Pokemon.
"Bun?" the Buneary seemed rather confused at her flinching.
"I'm sorry. I thought you would hurt me too..." Lillie said. The Buneary snuggled up with Lillie. She petted it in return.
Lillie noticed something peculiar about Buneary's appearance. In the areas that were supposed to be yellow, they were pink. She had heard about Shiny Pokemon before, but dismissed that thought as she knew she would never be that lucky.
"LILLIE!" she heard multiple voices shouting her name. "LILLIE!"
"I'M HERE!" she yelled, hoping they would find her by sound of voice.
"Let's get that Shiny Pokemon quick, James." said Jessie.
All of the sudden, a loud rumbling noise seemed to be coming for Team Rocket. Then they saw it.
"Oh no! It's Bewear!" they all yelled. Bewear rushed to pick them up and get them back. Lillie was confused about what she just saw.
"Lillie!" Ash appeared and gave her a hug. All of a sudden, Lillie felt really warm.
"Oh, sorry about that." Ash apologized.
"It's okay." Lillie said softly.
The others appeared only seconds later. When Kukui went to check on Lillie, he was simply left flabbergasted.
"Uh..." his mouth was hanging wide open.
"What is it Professor?" Sophocles questioned.
"IT'S A SHINY POKEMON FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!" Kukui exclaimed.
"Wow!" Mallow said, surprised. "You, out of all people Lillie, got a Shiny Pokemon!"
Kukui rummaged through his bag to find a Poke Ball. He placed a Luxury Ball in Lillie's hands. "Here. Luxury Balls make Pokemon friendly faster, and Buneary evolves with high friendship."
"I used to know someone with a Buneary." Ash said, thinking of Sinnoh and Dawn.
"All right, you want to be with me?" asked Lillie.
Buneary nodded in response.
"All right" she said while preparing to throw the Poke Ball "Let's go!"
The Rabbit Pokemon disappeared into the Poke Ball.

The Poke Ball clicked, indicating a successful capture.
"It's your first caught Pokemon!" Ash exclaimed.
"But I have Nebby and Snowy." replied Lillie.
"Remember Lillie, you got Snowy via egg, and you just found Nebby." said Kukui.
"Oh." Lillie understood now, although Nebby technically wasn't anyone's since no one hatched it or caught it.
"What are going to name it?" Kiawe wondered.
Lillie pondered on the question for a little bit before deciding.
"Cutie will be her name!" she exclaimed. "Come out Cutie!"
The Shiny Pokemon appeared, and began sniffing her surroundings.
"Let's get back to the school." Kukui announced.
About halfway there, she was surprised to see everyone's Pokemon they left behind running toward them.
"Popplio? Why are you here?" Lana asked her starter Pokemon.
Popplio began to run towards the school, so the other people and Pokemon trailed behind. What they saw made all of them angry.
"Yo! Wazzup homies? Ya wanna git to ya school?" asked a lowlife looking teen, who was holding a cigarette and was smoking it.
"Team Skull, we have no reason to quarrel, so please let us go to our school." Kukui said firmly.
"Ya git past me, ya git past my Pokemon, brotha!" the Team Skull Grunt announced.
"A battle! Challenge accepted!" Ash said. "Pikachu, let's get him!"
"Yo, Sandalit, teach this fool a lesson!" said the Grunt.
The two Pokemon were ready to face-off.
"Sandalit, use Toxic!"
"Thunder Shock Pikachu!"
Both Pokemon were affected by status conditions, but Ash reached into his Bag and found a Antidote, and healed Pikachu. However, the Grunt's Sandalit didn't move because of the Paralysis. Now Ash had an advantage. And he was going to make the most of it.
After doing the Electric Type Z-Move dance, he yelled "USE GIGAVOLT HAVOC!"
Sandalit was Knocked Out, and that was the only Pokemon the Grunt had.
"UGHHHH! Damn Z-Moves! I'm getting out of here!" he returned Sandalit, threw the cigar down, and ran into the woods.
After the little commotion, they moved on into the classrooms. They now knew what caused the Pokemon to flee. There were cigarette butts and graffiti scattered across the room. Desks were flipped over, and there was a lot of paper across the room. They even saw a radio just left behind.
"Uh... Mommy, is it time for school already?" a random voice said.
The Professor and the others saw a Grunt laying down in the corner of the room, with a bottle off booze beside him, and a pack of cigars hanging out of his pocket.
"AHHHHHH!" He picked up the booze and ran off who knows where. They were all confused about what they just saw. But they began clean-up, and Lillie got gloves to pick up the cigarette butts, Kiawe scrubbed the walls free of graffiti, Lana picked up the scattered paper, and Ash picked up the desks. Mallow got a spray to improve the smell of the room, and Sophocles investigated the room further. After a while, Kukui assigned clean-up groups of Mallow and Lana, Sophocles and Kiawe, and Lillie and Ash. They began to go into other rooms for clean-up, and seemed they had a long way to go.
