Hey fans, Vanitas here. Terribly sorry for the long wait for the next chapter of Angel of Mine. A lot has been going on lately and I've been very busy with college and work. Plus, my boyfriend had recently been in the hospital and underwent an operation. I've been so very worried about him, but he's recovering nicely now and I'm glad he's okay.
This chapter took a lot longer to write since I had absolutely no idea where to take it. Many of you wanted a chapter about Zero and Kaname having a heartfelt reunion and others wanted more of Kiyoshi and Haruka; therefore, I came to a decision. This chapter will be Kiyoshi and Haruka, revealing some a juice detail I hope you all catch and become eager for more; Chapter 12 will revolve around Kaname and Zero, and a touching reunion between them after being apart over 1,000+ years.
I also read a very rude review in one of my author notes, complaining about making excuses. Those of you who have been with me since the beginning know how hard it is to manage three stories at the same time while juggling college and work. This review was a guest and obviously knew to Angel of Mine, it does bother me that people choose to troll as a guest instead of revealing themselves; however, I simply ignored and deleted their rude response and moved on. Why let someone like that taint my creativity and bring down my motivation. I write these stories for my fans, you all know who you are and Vanitas knows you are patient and will remain so until a new chapter comes and satisfies your thirst.
Thank you to those who posted on my author's note:

IzXaRose chapter 11 . Jan 15Kaname and Zero! 3
Tony-Nelly chapter 11 . Jan 15Zero and kaname with hints of kiyoshi and Haruka. But don't make it TOO sappy.
Anywho. I've bored you all and kept you waiting long enough. Now my vampires and vampire hunters, enjoy Chapter 11 of Angel of Mine.
"He has found his mate." Informed a B-class noble to a figure shrouded in darkness.
An animalistic growl emitted from the shadows, glowing red eyes coming into existence as the ominous figure stepped further into the light. The vampire of noble blood grimaced at the anger and hatred radiating from those blood-shot eyes; the aristocrat knew very well that he had failed, the hunter had escaped and now resided in the arms of Haruka Kuran. A dark chuckle sent shivers down his spine and made his blood run cold; the humor behind that laugh was one the noble is very familiar with, that chuckle meant that death was close at hand.
"You failed to bring the hunter to me. Anyone who dares to fail me normally become nothing more than dust; however, the situation proves to be ideal to my plans." A sinister smile appeared on the shaded figure's face, razor fangs glinting in the rays of the moon. The shadow stepped completely into the light of the moon, reddish-brown hair resting against firm shoulders and mix-matched eyes filled with unpleasant amusement and dark intentions. "The time is nearing…that little hunter will be mine. I shall spill his blood for defying me."
"Master, you can't possibly be serious. Robbing him of his life when he's—"
"You dare question my authority?! You are nothing more than a second class noble while I, on the other hand, am a pureblood. Do not question my motives!" Roared the pureblood, his raging power bringing the noble to his knees. "Relying on pathetic minions like yourself has proven to be a waste of effort; I shall deal with the matter myself. Do not dare to interfere or the next we meet I won't be so merciful."
Haruka lovingly threaded his fingers through Kiyoshi's soft silver locks; the pureblood and his hunter had been mates for the past three years, their bond becoming stronger and their love growing with each passing moment. The young Kuran adored his beloved silverette, loved him more than anyone and anything; Kiyoshi brought warmth to his cold lonely world and introduced him to a world filled with wonder and colors beyond his imagination.
"I love you." Haruka whispered softly in Kiyoshi's ear, kissing the hunter's silk hair and inhaling the sweet scent of his mate.
"Haruka…" Sighed Kiyoshi in his sleep, reveling in the warmth of his mate's arms around his waist and unconsciously exposing his slender neck.
Garnet eyes reddened at the sight of Kiyoshi's smooth flesh. Haruka purred at the scent of Kiyoshi's blood, coursing through the hunter's veins; Haruka never dared to bite his mate, for if he did…Kiyoshi would become a vampire himself and that was a fate Haruka would never allow to befall him. The transformation is a painful on: the sinking of fangs into a human's being excruciating, the draining of blood numbing the human's senses and weakening their strength, fangs slowly growing inside the day walker's mouth and blood becoming strong and even more delectable; the final phase being soul of the ex-human shattering at the loss of their humanity, cursing their very existence before submitting to their desire in taking the blood of their master to prevent their fall to Level E.
"No…" Haruka quickly moved away from Kiyoshi, his back slamming against the bookcase as he jumped back from the bed—the noise awakening Kiyoshi from his peaceful slumber.
"Haruka?" Kiyoshi rubbed the sleep from his eyes before trailing his gaze to his lover who braced himself heavily against the semi-destroyed bookcase. "Haruka what's wrong?" Continued the hunter, leaving the safety of the bed and closing the distance between himself and his pureblood; poor, young, naïve Kiyoshi failed to see the anxiety in Haruka's red eyes and how much his scent was affecting the Kuran's control.
Before Kiyoshi could react, Haruka lunged at him and pinned the scared hunter to the large bed—Kiyoshi trembled beneath Haruka as the pureblood inhaled his scent before trailing his warm tongue along the silverette's pale neck; the young day walker sobbed softly when Haruka's fangs pricked his skin, tears of fear cascading down his creamy cheeks as he braced himself for the pain that would follow.
"Kiyoshi…" Whispered Haruka, removing his face from his beloved's neck and bringing his darling mate to his chest; Haruka bit his lip at the tremors running down Kiyoshi's spine before the hunter clung to him in desperation and relief.
"H-Haruka." Whimpered Kiyoshi, his soft cries chilling Haruka's heart.
"Shhh," Hushed Haruka, cradling his precious hunter in his arms, "I'm sorry…I'm so sorry, Kiyoshi." Light teardrops trailed down Haruka's cheeks; guilt tore at his core, Haruka couldn't believe what he had almost done. The pureblood could never have the heart to turn his beloved, he would rather die than take away Kiyoshi's humanity.
Kiyoshi lay in Haruka's arms, his amethyst eyes dry but red from crying. He had been so scared that he had nearly hurt Haruka when the pureblood had tried to soothe him. Haruka hadn't meant to frighten him, but Kiyoshi couldn't help being afraid especially when his wonderful pureblood had been close to biting him. Haruka confessed to finding the scent of his blood sweet and desiring, but also confessed that he would never wish him to become an ex-human; humans turned vampires were bonded to their master and theirs to do with as they please, the level Ds would have no will of their when in their presence.
"I never want you to become one of my kind..." Haruka tightened his arms around Kiyoshi, feeling his young lover flinch before succumbing to his warmth; the pureblood buried his face in Kiyoshi's silk hair, his heart swimming with remorse for scaring his beautiful mate. "I'm sorry, Kiyoshi."
"Haruka…" Muttered Kiyoshi, his jewel-colored eyes reflecting innocence and great affection as he gazed into Haruka's garnet orbs.
"Yes, my beloved." Answered Haruka, smilingly angelically at the blush painting Kiyoshi's cheeks.
"I love you." Kiyoshi cupped Haruka's face and brought the pureblood's lips to his own, marveling at the softness and warmth of the vampire's mouth.
Haruka sighed against Kiyoshi's lips, rest his left hand against the hunter's cheek and the other snaking around his slim waist; Kiyoshi gave a sharp gasp as he was pulled flush against Haruka's firm chest before slipping his hands beneath the pureblood's pastel blue shirt and running his palms along the muscles of Haruka's stomach.
"I love you too, my beloved hunter." Haruka whispered against Kiyoshi's lips before rolling Kiyoshi onto the bed and placing butterfly kisses along the silverette's smooth, pale chest.
Soft moans escaped Kiyoshi's lips as Haruka lapped at a pink nipple. Kiyoshi had dreamt of this moment for a very long time, Haruka teasing him to oblivion and then loving him deep into the mattress of their bed. The silverette hazily lifted his head from the pillow and gazed at his lover who continued to nip and lick at his bare flesh; Haruka feeling his mate's eyes on him, slowly rose his head from Kiyoshi's chest and stared into amethyst eyes clouded with lust. Haruka purred at the desire in his mate's jewel orbs, never in his life did the young pureblood ever see such beauty in the eyes of a mortal; Kiyoshi is a sight to behold: silver hair disheveled, bangs plastered against his flushed face, eyes glittering with lust and longing, lips smooth and lightly red from passionate kissing. The alluring appearance of his lover drove Haruka to madness, but not enough for him to unconsciously harm his beloved silver-haired hunter.
Kiyoshi strolled calmly through the calm woods of the Kuran estate, his amethyst eyes drinking in the beauty of the nature that surrounded him; the forest was large and beautiful beyond his wildest dreams, he had wished for a sanctuary as wonderful as this for as long as he can remember. The hunter was so engrossed by the beautiful wildlife around him that he failed to notice the eyes watching his every move from the shadows of the forest.
"Such beauty." Whispered the ominous shade, his eyes lingering on Kiyoshi's angelic face before looming over his toned psyche beneath the clothes he wore. The shirt royal blue hugging his chest and giving the shadow a satisfying view of the silverette's firm abs and pectorals, silver tone jeans outlining his lean, muscled legs and curving sinfully around his buttocks, a black coat giving him an intimidating appearance despite his angelic features. "An exotic specimen, far too beautiful to be human and yet human he is."
"I know you're there." The shadow heard Kiyoshi speak, his voice soft and menacing; the demanding tone of his angel-like voice making the mysterious visitor purr with desire. "Come out and face me, coward."
Kiyoshi is on edge. Senses on high alert and right hand resting against the hilt of his katana, the other inching towards the gun hidden beneath his long coat. He could feel it, he can smell it; he can feel the presence of a vampire, an A-class vampire to be precise. In all his years as a hunter, Kiyoshi had only encountered one pureblood; a pureblood who sought him out, deemed him worth of being his mate because of his unyielding spirit and vampiric strength. That pureblood had disappeared long after the incident, Kiyoshi was surprised and terrified that he would show himself after becoming the mate of Haruka Kura; the A-class nightwalker had fled after being severely wounded by Kiyoshi who fought to kill in retaliation for the suffering he faced at the hands of the pureblood's kind.
"Good to see you again, Kiyoshi Kiryuu." The voice of the predator a purr as soft as a lion's; Kiyoshi knew where this was going, the intruder was the predator and he was his prey.
"Never thought I would see your hideous mug again." Kiyoshi growled, his amethyst eyes scanning the surrounding trees while drawing his blade from its sheath. "Why have you come? After many years, why show yourself now?"
"Still as radiant as ever. You haven't lost your fire either, your anger lingers in the deepest depths of your heart. Tell me, do you still think of that day?" Mocked the unknown pureblood, chuckling darkly as Kiyoshi stiffened at the mention of the incident.
"I know why you're here. My answer is still 'no'." Kiyoshi sneered, his eyes glowing murderously.
"Must you hurt my feelings." Warm breath tickled Kiyoshi's ear, a gasp escaping his lips when a hand gripped his sword hand and another held his chin. "I only want what's best for you." Shivers ran down Kiyoshi's spine as the pureblood's tongue trailed up his exposed neck.
"Please…don't." Begged the young hunter, a soft sob emitting from his lips as the vampire lightly pricked his neck with his fangs.
"You smell divine." Purred the pureblood, squeezing Kiyoshi's wrist until the hunter dropped his katana. "The scent of your blood is intoxicating." The A-class vampire wrenched Kiyoshi's arms behind him, holding them against back with one cold hand and using the other to keep a firm grip on the hunter's chin; Kiyoshi's neck is deliciously vulnerable, skin smooth and unmarred, and his to feast upon.
Haruka stared out the window of the Kuran mansion, worry etched in his bright garnet eyes. Kiyoshi had journeyed into the woods surrounding the estate for some fresh air and had yet to return; Haruka knew Kiyoshi and he knew how much being alone in an unfamiliar place frightened his beloved, especially when the loneliness followed the remembrance of the incident. A cold chill crawled up Haruka's spine. Something is wrong, something is terribly wrong. He could feel the uneasiness in the air, streaming with fragments of fear, lust and a strong thirst for blood; the pureblood grit his teeth at the sensation. Haruka felt his heart stop as a dark and familiar presence made itself known; a presence he had thought to have vanished forever.
"No." Haruka slammed the doors of the balcony and leaped over the cream colored railing, and sped into the forest to save his precious mate.
Kiyoshi whimpered softly as cold hands caressed his bare upper body. The pureblood had sapped his strength using his powers, draining his energy until Kiyoshi collapsed against him; mismatched eyes had drunken his beautiful face, placing butterfly kisses along the hunter's neck, before carrying him to his hideaway. Kiyoshi had been terrified to find himself lying on a comfortable bed in a windowless room, wrists bound tightly behind his back with several layers of rope rounding his arms and chest, more rope binding his legs together at his ankles and above his knees, a lilac rubber ball had been shoved into his mouth and buckled behind head—the color highlighting his beautiful moon-kissed skin and amethyst eyes.
"Now, now. No need for tears." Hushed the vampire, lovingly wiping away the tears cascading down Kiyoshi's smooth, pale cheeks. "All of this could have been avoided if you had come with me willingly when I first asked you to be my mate."
The pureblood lifted Kiyoshi off the cold floor, tightening his hold on the hunter when he began to struggle and buck in his arms. He then set Kiyoshi on his feet and removed the bindings around his ankles and knees, replacing them with leather belts and forcing the silver-haired hunter to his knees—the nightwalker cut away the ropes binding Kiyoshi's arms and hands tightly behind, pushing him against the black marble pillar and wrenching his arms painfully behind the structure. Kiyoshi tugged violently at the hands around his wrists, his thrashing becoming more feverish when leather cuffs encased his wrists; greatly aware of Kiyoshi's strength, the pureblood drugged the young hunter and secured him firmly to the pillar with leather belts: two rounding his chest and arms and another buckled around his waist and pressing his bound wrists against the cold marble, tying a black cloth over Kiyoshi's eyes before taking his leave of the frightened silverette.
Tears leaked from behind the blindfold and trailed down Kiyoshi's cheeks; he's scared, so very scared. Kiyoshi wanted nothing more than to be free of this monstrous pureblood and back in the arm embrace of his lover, but Kiyoshi knew better than to give himself false hope. It was only a matter of time until the pureblood sunk his fangs into his neck and made him permanently his.
(…Please…help me…) Were Kiyoshi's last thoughts before his mind went blank and his body gave into the drug's effect. (Haruka…)
And Cliffhanger! I know, I'm terrible aren't I. I was originally going to drop the curtain on Haruka and Kiyoshi relationship with Haruka losing Kiyoshi forever, but decided it was best to leave that for another chapter since its too soon to say farewell to Kiyoshi and Haruka. I apologize to those who were hopping for Kaname and Zero's reunion in this chapter, but I assure you I will do so in the next chapter. I just really wanted to give you more romance between our precious Haruka and Kiyoshi since the idea had been plaguing my mind and wouldn't let me write anything else.
I'm thinking of including a chapter or two about Kiyoshi and Haruka's relationship between one or two chapters about Kaname and Zero. Let me know what you guys think. Write your desire as a review with your thoughts about this chapter or msg me.
Thank you to the fans who answered the notes about Kiyoshi and Haruka or Zero and Kaname. I also like to thank you all for supporting me and reading Angel of Mine.
