What Lies Within Chapter Eleven: The Incredible Posing Squad! The Ginyu Force!

The hairs of Naruto and Gohan flew in the wind as the two soared through the air. The two had found themselves in a comfortable silence after Krillin and Dende had left to get the Dragon Balls back where they had set up camp. Though it did seem a little odd to leave two children with the duty of sneaking into a Galactic Tyrant's base but Krillin had yet to question the limits of their ability as they had already surpassed his power.
While Frieza had lost his scouters which disabled his ability to precisely locate the Namekians he still had a hefty number of subordinates to do his dirty work. It was in that way that Frieza had easily gathered the remaining four Dragon Balls before he finished each and every subordinate, with a remorseless face albeit.
But not only had the subordinates suffer from Frieza's tyranny; the Namekian villages had been raided by Frieza's men in search for the mystical objects, many Namekians and even entire villages were killed in the search. It angered Naruto and Gohan, it was the Namekians' objects in the first place Frieza had no right to barge in and take it.
The demi-saiyans weren't idiots though so they wouldn't try to approach Frieza in a one-on-one situation but they were almost positive that he would get what he would deserve.
Though both half-breeds were was pulled out of his thoughts as they arrived at their destination. For the most part it looked as if no one was even around as not one sound could be heard but the two friends weren't taking any chances.
So after looking each other and nodding the two set off to get the Dragon Balls.
Only a few seconds later the two made their way back to each other both with a Dragon Ball in the other's hand. They took a sigh of relief and grinned. They were beyond worried about the other's whereabouts.
"Alright!" Naruto exclaimed extending his arm in the air.
"That was too easy!" Gohan exclaimed as well and slapped Naruto's hand in the air so they performed their signature Hi-Five.
With grins as wide as the three suns of Namek, both demi-saiyans stared at one another for a second before gaining a serious demeanor and blasting off into the sky.
There was no time to waste, especially since this so called "Ginyu Force" had just arrived on the planets only a few minutes ago.
-Break-
"What took you guys so long?!" Krillin shouted. "I was starting to get worried." Naruto and Gohan sheepishly scratched their heads as they set down the four Dragon Balls in their possession.
Abruptly all seven Dragon Balls, which were now together in a pile, began illuminating a bright yellow glow. Krillin smiled seeing the balls light up.
"Alright Dende summon the Drag- huh?" The bald warrior began before stopping as five blurs appeared before him. Krillin's face hardened as he picked up the Young Namekian and placed him in a safe place
Standing before the group were five men each looking as though they belonged to an alien race? Oddly enough they were all in some weird pose.
On the far bottom left was a green alien with four eyes; two in the normal area and two which were right on the sides of his head. He appeared to be a short stocky male. On the far upper left was a very muscular humanoid looking man with orange hair. On the upper right was a blue skinned male with red eyes. In the bottom right was a red skinned man with white, long hair. And finally in the middle was a purple skinned male with two horns sticking outside his head.
"We are the Ginyu Force!" All five yelled in unison.
Naruto, Gohan, Krillin and Dende all looked at the squad of men with a sweat drop. There was no way that these were Frieza's so called Elite Squadron, they looked like idiots.
"Now then I believe I'll be taking these." The purple skinned man quickly said before picking up the seven Dragon Balls. "Well boys I'll leave these runts to you."
"W-Wait! You don't really think we're just going to let you walk away with the Dragon Balls do you?" Krillin questioned before hastily backing up as the man turned his head towards him. The scouter on his right eye beeped a bit before he began laughing.
"Pathetic! Do you think you'll really be able to handle me with power levels of 5000?" The supposed Captain of the Ginyu Force mocked.
"Hehe trust me, we can get a lot stronger." Naruto bravely spoke looking at the man with a demeanor of determination. At that the Captain was stopped right in his tracks.
"You're bluffing." The captain simply spoke.
As the commander of the Ginyu force, Captain Ginyu, began turning to walk away Gohan prepared to run after him but not before having an arm put on his shoulder stopping him in his tracks.
"Vegeta?!" Gohan shouted in shock seeing the "Saiyan Prince" stop him. Ginyu turned his head around in interest hearing the name of the Saiyan.
"Ah Vegeta I guess the rumors are true of you teaming up with a couple of humans." The red skinned man of Ginyu Force known as Jeice said finally speaking up.
"Look again." Vegeta calmly said while pointing to the two brown furry tails swinging behind Naruto and Gohan's face.
"Saiyans but I thought Frieza had eliminated all the other saiyans… don't tell me you." Ginyu began before raising an eyebrow once again.
"As if I have the time to be producing offspring. These two are half-saiyans." Vegeta informed. "That one is the child of the Saiyan I met on Earth while the blond… I'm not sure myself." Hearing what Vegeta said Naruto opened his mouth to say something but Vegeta continued his words. "But now not the time for that."
"Alright then, it's a shame that you won't live long enough to tell me anything else." The captain said with an ominous tone. "Well then boys get to work!" And with that the squadron leader flew off towards Frieza's location.
"Well then I guess we have to decide who get who the old-fashioned way." The blue alien whose name was "Burter" stated.
"The first winner gets Vegeta, the second winner gets the runts, and last place gets the midget."The small, green, multi-eyed alien named "Guldo" said.
"How can he call me a midget… I'm even taller than he is." Krillin silently deadpanned.
"ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS!" They yelled simultaneously.
"Does everyone use this game to determine fights?" The long-life friend of Goku questioned with a sweat drop. "Eh? What's gotten into you two?" Krillin once again asked a question as his head tilted to Naruto and Gohan.
Both demi-saiyans had a serious but excited look plastered on their faces.
"Can't you tell their excited for the fight." Vegeta answered Krillin question while gaining a smirk of his own. "It's only natural for a Saiyan." Krillin rolled his eyes at the Saiyan prince's words in order to avert his eyes back over the Ginyu Force.
"So I get Vegeta!" The brute looking member named "Recoome" answered in a stereotypical idiotic voice.
"And I get the runts…" Guldo muttered with slight annoyance.
"So we get the midget." Both Burter and Jeice stated.
Krillin's face dropped into a look of horror realizing that he was in a 2 on 1 fight. He wasn't as strong neither Goku nor Vegeta, even Naruto and Gohan were much stronger than him. The look of fear must have been as clear as day to the demi-saiyans though as both sent an assuring look to the human calming his fears.
"Alright then I'll go first." Guldo announced walking up slowly to what would be their battleground. He could feel the winds of Namek move across his numerous eyelids as he waited for the "runts" to make their way to the field.
"NOW!" A loud scream was heard across the area. From out of nowhere Gohan appeared behind Guldo a wrapped his body into a full-nelson (The position Goku did to Raditz) strangling the green alien. Only a second later before Guldo even had the chance to breathe Naruto hand was right in the alien's face.
BOOM!
A large cloud of smoke revealed itself into the area blinding any view of what happened in the battlefield after Naruto's own appearance. Within a few seconds the smoke cleared to reveal Naruto and Gohan grinning at each other with their hands stretched out into a hi-five. Beneath them was the unconscious form of Guldo.
"We didn't mean to finish the battle that fast." Naruto informed still grinning as he sheepishly scratched his head.
"We just wanted to catch him by surprise." Gohan continued also carrying a grin of his own.
As the demi-saiyans continued their joyous of grins at their latest feat the look on Krillin and the other members of the Ginyu Force were priceless. All had their jaws wide open at how easy it was to finish that off. While Guldo was the weakest member of the group his time-stopping ability would have pushed them on the ropes (Though Krillin lacked the knowledge of this.)
"Well I guess that was a nice, fast job. At least I finally get a chance to fight now." Vegeta commented.
Both Naruto and Gohan kept their smiles at the praise but Naruto's grew slightly larger at the praise, something which didn't go unnoticed by Krillin but the earthling cast the though aside in order to focus on the next match of Vegeta vs. Recoome.
"RECOOME!" The brutish looking member yelled as he jumped to the middle of the battlefield. Along with his yell came an odd pose one that seemed kind of suggestive from some points.
Krillin sweatdropped at the weird pose. "Are all of them freaks?" He quietly murmured as he took a look at Recoome.
"I wouldn't judge him by his looks, he may look weird but I assure you he's no joke. Ginyu handpicks each member based on a specific quality they have. Guldo had the power to freeze time, while Recoome… as I've heard he's quite the brute." Vegeta smirked upon allowing the last few words to slide out of his mouth.
Should the Saiyan Prince be scared… well if he was anyone else he probably would be. The lingering thought of Recoome being strong was a good thing for the prince. And it was all because of that dormant Saiyan ability… ah yes Zenkai. The longer this fight ent on the more likely Vegeta would get stronger as the more beaten up he is after a recovery he would be much stronger.
Without a second's notice Vegeta burst into a sprint towards his opponent reeling a punch in the process. As he approached Recoome, the squad member's stance changed slightly in order to block a fist to the gut and a kick to the head.
Vegeta was most definitely not in a good position as both his arm and foot were locked in place by a iron tight grip by Recoome.
"Recoome…" The brute yelled as he reeled back his legs while trying to keep his grasp on Vegeta in place. "KICK!" Just as Recoome thrust his legs forward Vegeta narrowly escaped the grasp just in time for the kick to breeze right by him.
"Hey no fair! You weren't supposed to escape." Recoome childishly said this along with his distinct tone made him almost take a look of innocence.
"Then would you call this cheating as well?" Vegeta smoothly said as he disappeared from view.
Seconds later the Saiyan reappeared in front Recoome floating upside down with both his palm hovering above Recoome's chest. Without a moment's notice a purple light burst forth from Vegeta's hand enveloping Recoome with explosion.
"Alright Vegeta!" Naruto cheered with a grin.
"I didn't think the battle would be that easy." Gohan commented as he looked to the battlefield which was now enveloped in smoke.
"Wait a minute…" Krillin quietly spoke as he squinted his eyes. His eyes widened only seconds later.
As the smoke cleared Recoome's body had not moved an inch instead the only thing which had changed was Recoome's outfit which now was ripped in several areas.
Vegeta silently cursed as he saw that barely any damage had been done. Though he wasn't in any place to dawdle so he continued his assault.
In swift motion he planted his fist into his adversary's guts. Quickly advancing he brought his leg against the side of Recoome's head knocking the Ginyu Force member of balance. To follow the whole thing up the Saiyan prince launched his foot straight into the brute's head with tremendous force.
Vegeta's next attack was cut off as Recoome's hand grabbed his own. Now the Vegeta was in a bad position Recoome planned on taking full advantage of the situation. Lifting his arm up and down Recoome slammed Vegeta's body into the ground causing pieces of it to fracture. In the whole motion of the attack the Ginyu Force member had yet to leave his grasp on Vegeta.
Recoome carelessly dragged his arm to the side and let go out his grip as Vegeta was thrown through the air as if he were a rag doll. The now bruised Vegeta began slowing his acceleration through the air only to see Recoome figure speeding towards him.
The Saiyan Prince took a defensive pose seeing it was too late to even move out of the way. So closing his eyes he prepared for the worse. But instead of feeling bone crushing pain he felt nothing at all. He reopened his eyes at that moment only to have his stomach sink.
Recoome floated right in front of him with his mouth stretched wide open. Inside was a bright, pink light which continued to expand. On the command of one loud yell from Recoome the energy within his mouth was released in one wave, colliding with Vegeta at point blank.
Once again the battlefield was covered with smoke disabling any view that the spectators had of the fight. It didn't take long for Vegeta's figure to reappear though as his bruised and battered body was launched out the billows of smoke.
"Hehe I guess Vegeta got a little cocky there!" Burter cackled in enlightment seeing the Saiyan Prince at a weakened state.
"SO much for a Saiyan Prince he may as well be a small peasant now!" Jeice laughed along maniacally.
"Vegeta!" Naruto yelled in worry as he approached the Saiyan's side.
"Backup…" Vegeta weakly said as he tried to pick himself "I'm not finished yet." The Saiyan prince weakly continued.
On the sidelines Krillin grit his teeth seeing Vegeta's current state. The strongest of their alliance had almost completely been taken out after a few hits from the brute. Recoome could easily bulldoze through Naruto and Gohan and easily take out Krillin himself.
"HYAH!" Vegeta yelled as he rapidly thrust his palm back and forth in order to launch a volley of Ki blasts at his opponents but it was to no avail.
Once again Recoome showed little signs of being in any real pain. All he had now were several bruises, ruffled hair, and a missing Saiyan suit.
Vegeta merely took several deep breaths and clenched his teeth in frustration. He did all of this just before moving his hands in an ever familiar pose. Slowly he charged up purple Ki into the center of his hands after seeing Recoome responding by opening his mouth.
"GALICK GUN!"
"RECOOME ERASER GUN!"
After both shouts Vegeta and Recoome both released purple and pink waves of Ki respectively at high speeds. The battlefield lit up in pink and purple as both the energy waves clashed with one another. Slowly the Eraser Gun's energy slowly began gaining dominance of Vegeta's own attack. Vegeta grit his teeth in more frustration before pumping more energy into his attack. Thus slowing the rate at which the Eraser Gun was swallowing his attack.
But the action only had stalled Vegeta's impending doom as only a few seconds later the Eraser Gun came colliding with the Saiyan Prince's body at full force.
"Damnit!" Krillin shouted as he clenched his fist even more seeing Vegeta fall once more.
"I don't think Vegeta can take anymore." Gohan stated. Naruto nodded his head slowly after hearing his friend's words.
As the smoke cleared Vegeta's body seemed almost lifeless. The Saiyan showed no sign of moving and it would have seemed that he may have been dead had he not slowly move his hand in an attempt to stand up… but Recoome was having none of that.
As Vegeta weakly managed to stand up on his feet Recoome closed the distance between them before quickly opening his mouth for yet another Eraser Gun. The Saiyan Prince was in no position to block or even move. He was way too tired to even try and he was barely standing up as it was.
"RECOOME ERASER G-" Just before Recoome managed to end Vegeta's life entirely he was stopped by a kick from behind and before he knew it Vegeta disappeared from his current position.
Krillin flipped away from his position behind Recoome and moved to a safe distance away from the brute.
"Hey that's not fair." Recoome said in his usual dimwit sounding tone.
Vegeta now was laid on the ground near Naruto and Gohan. Along with the two demi-saiyans was Dende who had reappeared from his place of hiding. Both the young namekian's hands were stretched out and had a light glow to them.
Krillin took a fierce demeanor as he took a fighting stance that Master Roshi had taught him years ago.
"Haha! You're just a pipsqueak! I can probably beat you with both hands tied behind my back." Recoome said as he came to the evident conclusion that Krillin was about to fight him. Seeing Krillin make no attempts at moving the brute continued. "It's your funeral."
"I'll show you I'm not as weak as I look!" Krillin shouted in determination as he sped through the air towards his new opponent.
Fifteen minutes… that's how long he had before Vegeta was healed. He, Naruto, and Gohan had fifteen minutes to stall Recoome long enough for Vegeta to return to action…

Naruto: Yo Naruto here!
Krillin: Dende how long do we have until Vegeta is fully healed.
Dende: About fifteen minutes… it takes a long time to heal when someone is on the verge of death.
Gohan: Krillin are you sure you want to fight? Naruto and I can handle it.
Krillin: Yea besides you guys have to save up as much power you can to fight those other two.
Naruto: All right then Krillin. Give it your all!

Recoome: This is going to be easier than I thought.
Krillin: It's do or die!
A/N: I know it's been a while but I'm finally back! The never ending piles of homework and a few project finally caught up to me but I finally managed to get this chapter out! Though since I'm enjoying the Winter Break and Holiday Season I decided to take some time and work on some of my Fanfics.
And so the Ginyu Saga begins with the first fight ending really fast. If any of you are wondering why it was so easy for Gohan and Naruto to win I have the answer. Guldo may have the power to freeze time but he didn't even have the chance to activate it before Naruto and Gohan defeated him.
Also, I'm wondering if anyone can critique my battles. Are they too long? Too short? Not enough action/detail? Please let me know as it'll greatly help me improve my stories.
