The Magnificent Seven- S3E1

Lily's fingers drummed the oval table impatiently. She looked out the window. The gardener was mowing the lawn and the maid was offering him lemonade. The grass was a perfect green color. Lily looked at the five people at the table with her. Georgie was typing something on a PDA, Sadie was just there to wait on Lily, Ingrid was staring passively out the window, Ingrid's hand-man, Louis, who was almost asleep. And Ruby. Ruby looked like the entire world was uninteresting.
"I don't know how you expect me to find them if I have no clue where they are." Lily finally spoke. All of her guests looked at her. She convened her weekly council, consisting of the five demons in front of her, with the sole purpose of keeping up with the Winchester boys and Bobby Singer. As far as they knew, she was looking so she could kill them for killing Azazel. But no other demon or monster was allowed to harm them. After the boys found out her secret, she ran. She burned the house she used to live in and started over by buying a new, large McMansion in Washington D.C, right down the road from Mr. President himself.
No one said anything to her. They were afraid of her. As they should be. She stood and paced in front of the large wall made of windows. "All I'm saying is that finding the Winchester boys is so very important to me. Azazel was like my father and they ripped him from me. If we aren't careful, they will kill all of us." She had to make them fear the idea of the boys. Make them see them as threats so they would work harder. "Didn't you work with them? Weren't you friends with them? Are you sure we're doing this so you can kill them? Cause Meg said-." Georgie started to say. Lily held up a hand, silencing him. "I'll summon you all again tomorrow, at two in the afternoon. I expect some sort of information. You're dismissed." She paused as they all got up to leave. "Georgie, stay after for a moment if you will."
After everyone left, Georgie remained in his seat. Lily sighed, glancing over at the white board that held every piece of information available pertaining to where Sam and Dean had been since she last saw them. Then her black eyes fell on Georgie. "You mustn't say things like that to me Georgie. I did what I had to get the job done." He nodded, saying he understood. "What happened while I was with the Winchester brothers is not to be spoken of again. Do you understand?"
"Yes. I won't say anything about it again." She smiled kindly at him. She had a trusting smile, one that made anyone who met her trust her no matter what. Her smile brightened her face. Her freckles sprayed out across her face farther when she smiled. "Oh. I know you won't." And she ripped out his throat with her left hand.
"Sadie?" She called out through the open door. There was a muffled yes. "Please get this mess cleaned up. The smell of blood nauseates me."

Lily looked up at the sky, the sun blazing down on her. How dare the sun shine while she was in this terrible mood? She had been left, abandoned by Sam, Dean and Bobby, and tossed out like one of Dean's happy hour girls. She lazily dipped her foot in the water. She liked this house, she definitely liked the pool. But she would have given it all up for the forgiveness of the boys. The water was cool to the touch, sending shivers down her spine. She squinted her eyes, staring intently at the sun. She poked her belly-button absently. She liked this body as well. She had saved it. But at what cost? She took it without permission and as a result, was slowly killing the girl inside. But, wouldn't that girl have died without her? She was a parasite of a sort, keeping this girl alive by killing her. What a strange world she lived in.
An absurdly annoying beeping sound distracted her train of thought. Was that the house phone? Sadie rushed onto the back deck. "Miss Lillian, there's a man on the phone for you. He goes by the name of Robert Singer?" Lily sat up, nearly tumbling off the pool float. She demanded the telephone and Sadie brought it to her. She breathed and put the phone to her ear. "Who the hell is this?" She hissed. There was a faint chuckle on the other end of the line. "Good talking to you too Lily." Oh God, it was Bobby. Or...it was a demon in his meatsuit. "Listen kid, I've got a case and I'm pretty stuck on it. From the sound of it, you've got connections nearly everywhere. You mind coming and helping me?" It sounded an awful lot like Bobby...But Lily supposed her voice was what the girl would sound like if she were allowed to use the body.
"Give me two days." She hung up. Oh, to go or not to go. That was the real question. There were three possible outcomes. One: it really was Bobby and he really needed her help. Two: it really was Bobby and he was going to try and kill her. Or three: it was a demon and she would have to possibly kill Bobby's body. In sheer hope for the fourth outcome, she decided to go. "Sadie! Pack me a bag! I'm going on a trip!"

The hotel room was conspicuous. That was the whole point though. No one would look for her there. She found the biggest, flashiest hotel in Sioux Falls and got a room. She collapsed on the bed and decided to go to Bobby's in a few hours. She closed her eyes and breathed.
"Lily! That's it sweetheart! Just keep going!" Henry Fitzpatrick trailed behind his daughter, who was riding a bran-spanking-new purple and white bicycle. His wife, Gretchen held a video camera in one hand, taping the whole thing, right down to Lily's sweet giggles. "Daddy!" Lily's voice cried out as she headed for a wall of bright green shrubbery. Both parents reached out to grab the front and back of the bicycle. Lily erupted in giggles as the bike stopped and her father picked her up. "Again Daddy again!" Lily hugged her dad around the neck. Gretchen laughed softly. "Oh no. No more for today. It's lunch time and I made your favorite." She told their daughter. Lily's bright green eyes widened at the thought of fish sticks and custard. The three of them walked inside, the picture of an ideal family.
Lily twitched, trying to prevent the memories from resurfacing.
The gun felt heavy in her hands. She aimed the barrel at the target, squinting her eyes. "No, not like that Lily. If you squint, you'll miss something. Eyes wide open." Her father instructed her. Lily opened her eyes and rolled her shoulders. "Henry, maybe we should wait. Maybe she isn't old enough yet..." Gretchen put a hand on her husband's shoulder. Both parents were wary of teaching their daughter their ways but it had to be done if they were going to be safe. "Ten is old enough Gretchen. She won't be safe if we don't teach her now." Henry insisted. Gretchen sighed wearily. A gun shot went off and they looked up. Their barely ten year old daughter had lowered the gun and was admiring the hole she had put in the target. Bulls-eye. She turned to her parents, a toothless grin on her face. "That deserves at least five bucks under her pillow tonight." Henry muttered to his wife. "Actually, it deserves fish sticks and custard!" Gretchen hugged her daughter, taking the gun from her hands. Lily nodded enthusiastically. "And the book I want?" Lily looked up at her father hopefully. Gretchen and Henry glanced at each other. "Maybe when you get your first kill sweetie." Henry told her. Lily's green eyes, which had been inherited from her father, drooped slightly. But there was a burning determination in them. "Let's go then!"
Lily rubbed a hand across her forehead. No. Why was this happening? She had blocked this for a reason!
At thirteen years old, Lily Fitzpatrick had killed a werewolf, two vampires and seventeen ghosts. She was a hunting prodigy. But when she wasn't hunting monsters and cleansing the world of evil, she had her nose buried in schoolbooks. Her grades were fantastic and she had already planned out her high school and college careers. At the current moment, she was holed up in her room, reading about Dysentery. "Lily! There's a boy here to see you!" Her mother shouted. Lily looked up from her Merck Manual and frowned. How odd. She marked the page and left her room. At the front door, she found her mother, in a floral print apron with flour all over it, talking to a black haired boy holding flowers. Lily got an absolutely pissed off look on her face. "Go away Gabriel." She stated. Her mother stared at her, appalled. Boys hadn't ever taken much interest in Lily, so when they did, it was a big deal. "Lillian! Invite him in." Gretchen hissed at her daughter. Lily looked at her mother, asking if her mother didn't obviously see the monster. "I can't. I'll get blood all over the house. It'll be very messy, killing this one." Gabriel's hand dropped, his face clearly surprised and a bit shocked. "Lillian Daphne Fitzpatrick!" When Gretchen turned to apologize to the boy, she stepped back, horrified. Gabriel had morphed into something awful. "I tried to tell you." Lily muttered at her mother. Gabriel attacked Lily, throwing her to the ground. "Henry!" Gretchen screamed out. She didn't know what the boy was or how to stop him. But her daughter did. A faint blue stream was flowing from Lily to Gabriel, entering through Gabriel's mouth. Lily pulled a gun from behind her back and shot the boy in the head. She pushed his body off of her own and looked over at her parents, who were just staring. "He was a shtriga." She stated plainly. Both of them hugged Lily, pride surging through them. "Can I go finish reading about Dysentery now?"
Lily's mouth opened but nothing came out. The screams were stuck in her throat. They had to stop!
Gretchen and Henry Fitzpatrick were beaming. Hours ago, their only daughter, their miracle child, had walked across the stage, graduating high school. And that morning, she had gotten confirmation that she had been accepted into Stanford's school of medicine. Her post graduation party consisted of their small family. And three other people. Henry and Gretchen's long time friends, Bobby Singer and John Winchester. With them was John's oldest son, Dean. The six of them ate cake and talked about the life of hunting. Dean was surprised to learn that Lily hunted and did it well. The two young adults excused themselves from the party, telling their parents they were going downtown to crash some parties. As they walked down the road, their hands occasionally brushed. Every once in a while, Lily would cast a sly glance at Dean. "You really plan on getting out of this life?" He asked her. She nodded slowly. "Just for four years. That's all I need to get through Stanford. Then I'll come back." Stanford? "My brother's going to Stanford. Maybe you two will hit it off. God knows he'd love you for making it out of this life." Lily smiled at Dean. "I only need one Winchester brother at a time. I suppose you'll just have to pass me off to each other then." Dean stared, shocked. Had she just implied...something would happen. "You think I'm attractive and it's obvious I think you're attractive. So let's stop wasting time, shall we?" Dean blinked his eyes rapidly. From what he had seen, Lily strived to impress everyone around her. And she was going places. What did she want with him? Lily looked over at Dean with a coy look on her face. "Just one time. No one even has to know." She purred. Dean considered saying no. But guys didn't get chances with girls like her very often. He would have to be stupid to say no. So he said yes.
Hands picked her up, carrying her out of the hotel and put her in a car, her bags already there. She was so caught up in her memories, she didn't notice. She didn't want to see what came next.
The door flew open, the howling wind blowing out the birthday candles on the bright yellow cake. Lily turned, her mouth open, ready to blow out eighteen birthday candles. A short man stood in the doorway, a large black dog beside him. "No." Lily whispered quietly. "Do we know you?" Henry was already reaching for the butcher knife. Gretchen grabbed onto her daughter's arm. "Henry...Henry it's him." Gretchen murmured. Lily looked between her parents and instantly knew. It was time. "The game is over. Give up now and my boy won't maul you." The demon patted his dog on the neck. "No. We're staying." Henry told the demon. He made a clicking noise with his tongue. "Do you really want to stay here with her? She could kill you by snapping her fingers. She's a monster." Fergus told them patiently. Gretchen and Henry looked at their daughter. They saw something different though. She no longer looked like their miracle child. The perfect blend of their genes: Henry's green eyes and freckles, Gretchen's dark hair and bronze skin and all of their courage and more. She had dark black eyes and they could see black smoke swirling around inside her body. "What did you do to our daughter?" Gretchen screamed at Lily. Lily backed up, hitting the table and knocking over the birthday cake. The impact sent icing everywhere. "You see, I never said you had to die. You assumed you would die. My price for this special deal was something much more...beautiful and horrendous. My princess here needed a body and you needed a baby. With a few tweaks, you were given a baby without a proper respiratory system. When Lillian here jumped in her body, she repaired it but also made it her own. You branded that mark on her neck, not knowing you were trapping something inside. When you made that deal, you were starting something...extraordinary." Gretchen and Henry looked at each other. What had they done? "What did you put inside our baby?!" Henry bellowed. Fergus laughed throatily, his chest shaking. "The most dangerous demon ever bred. The daughter of Lucifer and Lilith. She is magnificent." Lily's hands shook. After eighteen perfect years, this happened. With her, the entire house rumbled. A crack appeared in the floor. "I'm sorry." She whispered. Her parents looked at her. For a split second, they didn't see a thing they spent their lives killing. They saw a vulnerable little girl, scared and trembling. They saw a girl they had raised. She may of lied to them, but she was theirs. Henry tossed Gretchen the knife. "That's my daughter you dick." She stabbed the knife through Fergus' torso. But nothing happened. He laughed at her and let the dog have her. Screams filled the room as blood flew. Gretchen's body fell to the floor. Fergus grabbed Lily by the arms, holding her back. "This is all because of you." He whispered in her ear as the hellhound attacked her father. After it felt satisfied, the hellhound and its master disappeared. Lily, her face splattered with blood, grabbed the house phone. She stumbled, falling over her mother's body, landing in a pool of blood. It rang several times before he answered. "Uncle J-John?" She managed to choke out. "Lily? Lily, is something wrong?" A sob escaped her throat and she thought she was going to cry out. "I need you. Please." She whispered. He hadn't left town yet. Her graduation had only been days ago, but John wanted to stick around for a while. Ten minutes later, he was kneeling beside her father's dying body and promising to protect her. All of the windows were shattered. Hell had been in this house. John looked at his god-daughter. She was curled up in the corner of the room in fetal position, silently sobbing. She wasn't paying attention. So he walked out the door.

Lily didn't recognize the room she was in. This wasn't her hotel room. She checked to make sure she still had her gun, she did, and she left the room. Down the hall, she heard all too familiar voices. Once she rounded the corner, she saw them. "It's about time." Bobby greeted her gruffly. The other one regarded her carefully. "Hey Lily." Dean waved cautiously. She slowly wiggled her fingers in return. Where was Sam? Her question was answered when he walked down the hall, running a hand through his hair. Their eyes met. Green on green. "Sam." She whispered. He turned to Bobby, his face red with anger. "What is she doing here?" He growled.
"Nice to see you too." Lily grumbled, stuffing the gun in her pants-band. She looked over at Bobby, "Why am I not in my hotel room?" He told her to ask Dean, he had been the one to move her. "You were being followed," Dean told her. "I figured it was best to get you out of there." Quietly, she thanked him. Grabbing a small glass, she poured herself some milk and sat down. "You said there was a case. I'd love to help you. Life's been boring." She sighed, nursing on the glass. Sam immediately objected. "Absolutely not. She is not going. For all we know, she could be behind this." Lily's mouth fell open. God, she had screwed it up. "But I'm not. I may be demonic, but I have feelings. And you're hurting them." She hissed. Sam laughed at her. "Feelings? The only feelings you have are for murdering innocent people! Stop trying to act like you're a good person because you're not!"
Bobby grabbed Dean by the arm and pulled him out of the room. It was best to let them fight this out. "I have never killed anyone! But I'm willing to start with you." It made him take a step back. "If we're talking mistakes and lying, don't just shine the spotlight on me. We'll start with your dad, yeah? He left me alone the night my parents died! He didn't try to comfort me or anything! He left me!" She screamed. It all came flooding back. John Winchester left her there. She watched him walk out the door. When she needed him the most, he left her. The entire house shook with her anger. Sam grabbed onto the counter for safety and balance. "You slept with Dean!" Oh, he went there? Really? They were getting into the nitty-gritty. She threw the glass of milk at him; the glass hit the wall, shattering beside his head. "Because you slept with that werewolf bitch!"
"So you screwed Dean for revenge?" Sam yelled. She asked him what she was supposed to do because she obviously wasn't getting anything from him. "You could have talked to me! Or better, said you were a demon!" He turned at the sound of a window cracking. Just as he shielded his face, the window behind him shattered. Had she done that? When he turned back around, Lily was gone.

Sam slouched in the passenger seat of the Impala. Dean looked over at his brother just as they pulled into the driveway of an old farmhouse. Dean stopped the car but locked the doors, disallowing his brother to get out. "Look, Sam, you need to try and be somewhat civil to Lily. We're working this case with her, whether you want to or not. So I suggest you lighten up, apologize and suck it up." Dean told his little brother. Sam glared at him. How could Dean just forget what Lily was? She was something they hunted. "She lied to you too Dean." His brother shrugged, like it wasn't a big deal. "Lily was like a sister to me. It hurt pretty bad but I know there's good in her. She's not going to turn on us. If anything, she's trying to help us. Especially you." Sam unlocked the door, getting out of the car. Two other cars were already there. A sleek, black Camaro and Bobby's car. "Great." Sam muttered.
Bobby met them by the front door and they stood back as Dean picked the lock. The smell that came from that house was unholier than anything Sam had ever smelled. A sound came from the house's living room: screams. Sam, gun in hand, led them to the living room and kicked open the door. To his relief, it was just a television show. Four people sat in the room, three of them long dead. The fourth had dark brown hair and was wearing jeans, knee high brown boots and a blue tank top. She was sitting in the floor, watching the show. "Good. I was worried you weren't going to show up." She stood up and turned off the TV. She had a gun strapped to her thigh and looked ready to shoot. "I'm saying a max of five to seven days. That's based on decay and stench." She told Bobby. Sam couldn't stop staring at her black eyes. "I checked for sulfur." Sam frowned in response. Her lip twitched. "You're welcome to check again, since you don't trust me." She told him. Dean said it wouldn't hurt to check again and they split up. Lily went with Dean. "I'm assuming five days isn't enough for forgiveness." She whispered. He didn't say anything, just shook his head. Lily sighed and looked out the window. Two people, a man and woman, were walking on the porch. Dean slipped out the door and Lily heard a thud. "Dean!" She hissed. The two people looked up and saw her looking out the window. She punched through the glass and climbed out the window.
"A demon." The woman whistled happily. Lily raised her hands in surrender. "Let him go." She glanced down at Dean. The man's brow furrowed. "So you can kill him? I don't think so." The woman shot her in the thigh. Lily fell to the floor, grabbing her leg. Blood poured from the wound. "Dammit, do you know how hard it is to take care of a body for twenty four years? Jesus." Lily grumbled. "What the hell's going on out here?" Bobby demanded, rounding the corner. "Dean?" Sam pushed past Lily towards his brother. "Oh yes, we'll all ignore the one who might actually die from blood loss." Lily muttered under her breath. Sam looked over at her. "Just find a new body." He waved a hand. Her eyes narrowed. "I can't you insufferable idiot!" She snarled.
For a moment, it was silent. Then Lily's eyes turned green. She unbuttoned her jeans and tossed them aside. Sam tried not to look at her bright red underwear that looked like something a stripper would wear. He wondered if that was what Lily had been doing since they left her. He also reckoned that was why she was so upset. Winchesters always left her. Blood pumped from a hole in her thigh. "Give me your shirt." She looked at Dean. Dean looked slightly appalled. He was not taking off his shirt to be later yelled at by Sam. "Please." She batted thick eyelashes. Sam sighed and pulled off his shirt. "Here." He tossed it to her. It took her a moment but she wiped all the blood off of her leg. "This is gonna hurt like a bitch." She told herself as her fingers probed inside the bullet wound. "God! Stop!" Dean shouted as she winced. After a moment, she produced a small bullet. She glanced over at her pants and tore the legs of them off, making shorts. She put them on and then her boots. "Better. It should heal sooner or later." Bobby helped her stand up. She stared intently at the people who had shot her. "Thank you, for shooting me. It was a beautiful experience."

Almost an hour later, the gunshot wound was fully healed with barely a scar to show. Tamara, the woman who had shot Lily, handed her a glass of water. Lily drank it, staring her right in the eye. "You know, I'm really quite partial to holy water. Avian is my favorite." Tamara looked at Bobby questioningly. "She's a demon." Isaac, her husband, stated plainly. Lily rolled her eyes. "Such a derogatory word. I'm not even a demon. I'm a cambion and I wish people would get it right if they're going to insult me." She sighed, setting the glass down. Bobby shrugged. He wasn't going to get into that. It still bugged him. He had known this girl her entire life and never knew what she really was.
"Tamara, where is the Palo Sento?" Isaac called from the kitchen. "You guys have Palo Sento?" Lily asked, severely interested. "Cool." Tamara dug in a bag and pulled out a stake. "Can you handle this? It's ancient." Tamara asked Lily. "I can touch it, yes. But if you stick it through my body, I'll bleed. My body isn't invincible. It can die, but I do love this body. Please don't kill it." Her lips quirked up in a small smile. Sam decided to talk. "How did you did get started on hunting?" Isaac and Tamara glanced sideways at each other. Sam frowned. "Nevermind. It isn't my business anyways." Dean, who was pacing back and forth on the phone, finally hung up and looked at them. "Death reports say that the entire family died from starvation and dehydration." He told them. Bobby threw his hands up in the air. "They had a whole kitchen full of food feet away from them!" He said in an exasperated voice. What was this? "Do you think it's a demon attack?" Sam asked, glaring pointedly at Lily, almost like he was accusing her. She hopped off the counter she had taken on and tapped a finger on her chin. "I haven't seen anything like it. But, I've only been here about twenty four years. I spent most of my life locked away in Hell. I didn't get out much." She paced back and forth, thinking about it deeply. If it were a demon... "I'll get someone on it. Surely, someone on the council might know something." She stated. Council? What council? "What council are you talking about? Is there some sort of demon council we don't know about?" Sam determined. If there was a council, they were screwed. Lily smirked at him. She had the audacity to smirk at him. "It's my demon council. For the time I've been...away, I summoned a council. They kept an eye on you, kept you safe. Of course, I never told them the truth as to why they were doing it. I said I wanted to slaughter you myself for killing Azazel and they believed it. They all have deep connections, except for Georgie, poor chap. One of them must know something."
She'd been watching them. She'd been watching him. Keeping them safe. "So what do we do know?" Dean asked. Isaac laughed loudly. It sounded like a turkey barking. "We aren't doing anything because my wife and I work alone. And we definitely aren't working with the fools who opened Hell." Isaac told them. "Well." Dean huffed. "You two made everything a hell of a lot harder for everyone. You let out a couple more demons and this thing over here you're keeping as a pet." Isaac pointed at Lily. She pointed at herself. "First off, I'm not a thing. Second off, I'm not their pet. And I'm not a demon! I'm a cambion for Christ's sake!" A window cracked. Lily let out a deep breath, sighing. She had to control her emotions. Or people would get hurt. "I am the daughter of Lucifer and Lilith. I bow down to no one and I am a good person! I don't kill!" Conveniently, her phone began ringing. It was an unknown number. Lily grumbled an excuse and left the room. "Who is this?" She ordered. There was a girlish giggle. "Hello Lillian. It's nice to speak with you again." She repeated her question. "You aren't an easy girl to find dear. I've been searching for quite a while. But your assistant here...oh, she's been such a help. Never can trust a demon. Dirty rotten backstabbers, the whole lot. Even me." Another giggle. Who was this bitch? "Who are y0u?" Lily repeated. "What do you want?" Another giggle. Geez. "What do I want? I want to finish what I started darling. But first, I'm going to play." There was a pause. And then a scream. "Do you hear that dear? That's the sound of something you caused. And do not think I won't kill those precious boys you keep as pets." Lily crushed the phone in her hand. She stormed out of the room.
Sam turned, hearing the sound of squealing tires. He looked out the window and saw Lily's black Camaro driving off at an unsafe distance. Dirt welled up behind her car in a brown-grey cloud. "What the hell?" Dean whispered.

"Listen, I'm not saying it's not a good idea, but it isn't a great idea." Dean told Sam. Lily nudged Dean's shoulder and pointed out the window. "We need a new plan. We have visitors." Isaac and Tamara were walking into the bar they were staking out. "Dammit." Bobby muttered. "Alright. Let me handle it." Lily sighed. She kicked open the backdoor and got out. "What are you doing?" Sam called out to her. She moved to the back of the car and threw open the trunk. She took off her pants and slid on a tight black miniskirt. "I'm handling this." She winked at Dean and slammed the trunk. They watched her walk in the bar after Isaac and Tamara. The door swung shut behind her. "She's freaking nuts." Sam muttered. "But you love her anyways." Dean chuckled.
Lily winked at the bartender as she took a seat at the bar. She ordered a beer and he slid one towards her. Isaac and Tamara were sitting at a booth. Lily's ear twitched, straining to hear their conversation. she slid her eyes across, watching them. Isaac stood and walked towards the bathroom. The bartender left the bar and grabbed his arm. Lily turned, her full attention on the scenario. "I don't like having hunters in my bar." The bartender growled. Lily whistled under her breath. Everyone in the bar, except for Isaac and Tamara, were demons. But they all heard her sound. All of them turned to her. "Man, we got us three tonight. This is gonna be good." The one in the plaid shirt smiled at Lily.
She stood up and batted her eyelashes. When her eyes opened, they were black. "No one lays a finger on me, understand? Because I will rip your freaking throats out." She eyed Tamara, nodded slightly. She protected them. No matter what anyone said or thought. Not even Sam. The guy in the plaid shirt dug around under the bar and produced a bottle of Drain-o. "Here, take a drink. Just for you." He smiled at Isaac. "I wouldn't." Lily advised him. The demon nudged it towards Isaac. "On the house." Isaac grabbed the bottle and poured it down his throat. "No!" Tamara screamed at him. His body collapsed to the floor, blood bubbling in his mouth.
"You just made a terrible mistake." Lily seethed. She pulled a gun from her boot, pointing it at the bartender. "I don't like being pissed off by lower level demons." She cocked her head to the side, then laughed. "Actually, when you think about, every demon is under my level." A car burst through the front wall of the bar. Dean, Bobby and Sam jumped out, flinging holy water everywhere. Dean grabbed Tamara, throwing her in the back of the car. Sam pulled on Lily's arm. "Come on! We have to go!" He pushed her in the car and Bobby revved the engine. Dean grabbed the red-haired man and shoved him in the trunk. He hopped through the window and Bobby drove off.

"Are you stupid? You could have died!" Sam shouted at Lily. She looked down at the floor solemnly. "I didn't die." She muttered unhappily. He shook her shoulders violently. "But you could have! Doesn't it matter to you? Doesn't life matter?" She glared up at him. "Honestly? No. Nothing matters anymore. What's the point in living this finite life, if it isn't with the person I want to live it with?" She jerked away from him and stood up. She marched into the space were Bobby, Dean and Tamara had the demon tied up. "Do you know who we're up against?" He asked Dean. Lily coughed slightly. "The Magnificent Seven, that's what they're called in Hell. You call them the Seven Deadly Sins. That one, that's Envy. The family was influenced by Sloth and Isaac got Midas'ed by Gluttony. Me and the Sins, we're distant cousins. Hate to admit I'm related to them." Lily sideways glanced at Envy. He smirked, giving a half-wave. "They haven't been on Earth since the Middle Ages. They're blood-thirsty." She stepped to the perimeter of the Devil's Trap, squatting down.
"I'm your master now. Do you understand?" She asked him. He smiled. "I am legion, for we are many." She put a bullet in his leg. "Look at all that wrath you keep locked up." He paused, dramatic effect and continued, "You call us sins, but we are human instinct. You hold us back but eventually, we surface." Lily rolled her eyes and stood up. "I hope you know you're being watched, Lillian!" She stopped. She aimed her gun at his neck. The bullet grazed the skin. "Get him out of the body and back to Hell." She ordered Tamara. "I can't wait to go home." Lily mumbled.

"If you're so adamant about keeping us alive, why don't you help us?" Sam asked Lily; it wasn't a snarky comment. He was actually sincere. He was filling up flasks full of holy water and Dean was loading shotguns. She looked at him and then back at the PDA in her hand. She hadn't heard from Sadie but she didn't expect to. Sadie was as good as dead. "What do you want me to do?" She asked, almost a whisper. He asked her what she wanted to do. Kiss you, she thought bitterly. But she said she could do about anything. Just as she was sliding into the floor to help Dean, her ear twitched. "Visitors." She murmured in a sing-song voice. "What?" Sam looked up at the window. Someone was outside, yelling Tamara's name. "It's a demon. In Isaac's body." She sighed wearily, burying her hands in her face. Things were about to get too complicated for her. Bobby held Tamara back. "It isn't Isaac." He yelled in her ear. "You just gonna let me die Tamara? Just like you let our daughter die?"
Tamara jerked free of Bobby's hold and ran for the door. Lily reached out, trying to grab her and fell in the floor. Tamara raced outside the house and tackled her husband's body. The salt line blurred. "No!" Lily shouted. Tamara shoved her Palo Santo through his chest. Six demons entered the house. "Get out." Lily pointed to the door. They shoved past her. Lust, the waitress, cornered Dean and Sloth was going for Bobby. Sam. Where was Sam? Sloth was trapped under a Devil's Trap on the ceiling. Bobby had control of that one. Lust was backing Dean up into a bathroom. They kissed. Oh come on Dean, Lily thought, she's a demon. Lily tip-toed into the bathroom, standing behind the demon. She grabbed her hair, pulling her away from Dean. "I don't think so." Lily smiled, shoving the girl in the bathtub that Dean had filled with holy water. "Hold her down." Lily told Dean. Dean held the girl by the neck, holding her in the water. "My name's Lily and you just met your maker." She winked at Dean and began exorcising the demon. "Exorcizamus te omnis immundus..." before she got the fifth word out, the girl crumpled to the ground. Dean let her go. "How'd you do that?" She shrugged and said it was a thing.
She had to find Sam. She heard shuffling and ran up the stairs. Sam was being attacked by Pride. Pride was strangling Sam. A flash of blonde hair and Gluttony was dead, his throat cut open and looked as if being electrocuted. "What the hell?" Lily muttered. Lily was grabbed and turned around by Greed. "I wouldn't." The girl who killed Gluttony warned Greed. Lily saw clearly now, who this was. Blonde hair, ancient knife. "Ruby." Lily sighed, almost grateful. Ruby's knife went through Greed's chest and Lily was released. "I saw Sadie. Damn shame." That was Ruby's way of apologizing and giving condolences. Pride tackled Ruby, knocking her back. Lily ripped him away snapping his arm in half. "Sorry." She smiled against his ear. Ruby plunged the knife up through his throat and the tip of the blade showed in his mouth. She yanked the knife out and Lily tossed him aside. Ruby clicked her tongue at Lily before disappearing down the hall. Her eyes met Sam's. "You're welcome." She turned to leave the room and he grabbed her arm. "Thanks." He said quietly. She smiled slightly. They were getting somewhere. "You're okay, right?" She asked and he nodded.

Lily watched the flames blaze around the dead bodies. Two pyres, one fight. Eight bodies. Tamara had one for Isaac and the boys had one for the Sins. She hated the smell of burning bodies so she stayed inside Tamara's house. The flames reflected in the window. Sam caught her eye. His hands were shoved in his pockets and he was slouching. She sighed. How was she supposed to make things right if he refused to talk to her?
She stood up and walked outside, pulling her jacket closer to her torso. "I think I'm gonna hit the road guys." She announced, gaining their attention. They both turned, having stricken expressions. "You need us to take you anywhere?" Sam asked, uncharacteristically hopeful. She desperately wanted to say yes. Maybe she'd ditch the expensive Camaro and ride in the ancient Impala. But she couldn't. She had to find who murdered Sadie and she had to stay distant to keep the boys safe. "I have a ride." She nudged her head towards the black car. "We're headed to Louisiana to check out some voodoo priestess about Dean's deal." Sam told her. Lily laughed involuntarily. "A voodoo witch isn't going to help you with that. Just let me...let me handle it okay?" Her words choked. Dean would die. Dean would die and she wouldn't have anyone.
"You can't. Leave it alone, both of you. If I try to get out of this deal, Sam dies. Do you understand?" Dean snapped. He grabbed Lily's shoulder gently. "Do you want Sam to live? I know you do Lily. I know you'd rather it be me than him." She jerked away from him and started towards her car. "Lily! I know how it is! You would rather Sam live than me because you can bear that!" She stopped in her tracks, two feet from the car. Tamara's house fell inside itself. Lily turned to face Dean, tears rolling down her cheeks. "Don't you dare try to put it off that I don't care about you Dean! I love you too! And if you don't think that I won't go down to Hell and get you, you're wrong. And I will get you out of this. Both of you."
No one said anything. It was a stunned silence. "I'm leaving. Call me if you need anything. I'll keep an eye on all of you. If anyone asks, you tried to kill me. Got it?" She didn't wait for an answer. She got in her car and drove off. Sam looked at his brother. "She's something else." Dean muttered to Sam. Sam nodded slowly. Lily. The way she looked at him. "I'll call her later." Sam decided, but he didn't mean to say it out loud. "Whipped." He heard Bobby snicker.
