Mozenrath's alone time was spent formulating a plan to get back at Aladdin. After creating a detailed outline, the young sorcerer laid his head down onto the wooden table, finally allowing himself to rest. He closed his eyes, inhaling deeply as his worries began to dull. Not even a minute later, Mozenrath heard Jasmin calling for him. He groaned, not bothering to open his eyes. Meanwhile, in her room, Jasmin aimed her camera at the door. She lied on her stomach across the bed in anticipation for the moment Mozenrath came in. Xerxes chuckled menacingly in the air above her, waiting for his Master's surprise at the flash of light he would soon be bombarded with. The young woman called out again.

"What do you need?" Mozenrath questioned in irritation.

"Mozey! I've fallen and I can't get up!" Jasmin yelled with a grin on her face. A few moments passed until she heard his footsteps echoing through the halls.

"So if I'm hurt, he takes his sweet time walking to my rescue instead of flashing to my side?" she asked Xerxes. The eel nodded and continued to glide through the air. The door opened as she focused the lens. The second Mozenrath came into view, she snapped a picture of him, momentarily blinding the young ruler. When she actually paid attention to him, the air hitched in her throat. Aside from the usual look of annoyance on his face, Mozenrath's turban was gone. His thick dark hair now free, cascaded down to the middle of his back, curling at the ends. Jasmin was glad it was difficult to see her blush, but she wasn't so lucky when it came to the huge grin that seemed to be plastered in place. Mozenrath sneered, already knowing she was lying about the fall.

"What do you want?" he asked whilst tapping his foot.

"I wanted to get a picture of you to show my family, so they don't freak out again." She explained as he came to the bed, sitting near her. Before giving him the camera, Jasmin made sure to take out the memory card as a precaution. She didn't want to risk all of the data being lost. Mozenrath fiddled with the small device, letting his curiosity roam. Jasmin watched him, memorizing the few details she could see, such as the way his fingers would gently press at the silver buttons.

"Interesting..." he mumbled.

"We should go on a date." Jasmin suggested as she poked his cool cheek.

"What?" he asked, swatting her hand away.

"A date. You know, two people go out together to have fun." As she spoke, it seemed as if Mozenrath had zoned out. A moment later, he turned to the young woman beside him, setting down the camera.

"Where do you want to go?" he asked.

"I actually don't know. I've never been on one." She confessed before starting to ramble. "Plus, this isn't my world so I don't know what it has to offer. No amusement parks or theatres... I've already been to your house. Maybe... the beach? Or an adventure! Ooh swimming! Wait, no swimsuit. I don't know-" Mozenrath leaned back onto a blanket stack as Jasmin excitedly continued to throw around different ideas. He was going on a date with an odd woman from another world. Judging by her excitement, Mozenrath could see that this event was probably a big deal for her. With that idea in his head, he knew that he had to at least attempt to make the date memorable for the both of them.

"Jasmin, do you have a jacket?" Mozenrath asked, receiving a nod. "Put it on and your shoes too. I think I know a place you may enjoy. Give me some time to prepare."

Jasmin got off of the bed at the same moment Mozenrath took Xerxes and flashed into his own room.

He had no idea where he was going to take her. She was so strange in comparison to the other women he had contact with; Though he could count that list on one hand. His mind began to race. What were they supposed to do on this date? Their similar interests were minimal, so all that they really conversed about were their differences. Mozenrath froze as realization hit him. For this relationship to work, they would have to know more about each other, including the past. He wasn't afraid to tell her the gritty details of his childhood. Due to her innocence, he knew that she could sympathize with his younger self. But how would she react to what lies beneath the gauntlet. Would she be afraid of his hand? Would she hate him for his hunger for power? Or would she betray him and join Aladdin? Mozenrath never cared about what others thought about him, but now this girl was making him question all that he had been through. She caused some type of spark in him, both emotionally and physically.

"Enough..." he groaned to his mind which continued to race. He needed to find out where they were going to go.

"Maybe she'd like to see Sharako... but that damned bird sent him away." He turned to Xerxes. "What about the Cave of Wonders?"

"No" the eel answered.

"Athens?"

"No"

"Egypt?"

"No"

"India?"

"No"

"Are you just going to say no to everything I suggest?" Mozenrath asked with a glare.

"No" Xerxes said as he flew out of Mozenrath's reach.

"What would she like?" Mozenrath groaned in irritation.

"Ask?" Xerxes suggested.

Mozenrath teleported himself back to Jasmin's room, defeated by his own futile suggestions. She wasn't in the room but a crisp breeze blew in from the large doors that led to the balcony. Mozenrath walked out, seeing Jasmin looking over the Land of the Black Sand. Her stance was rigid, but he couldn't tell whether it was from the night air or something else.

"So where are we going?" she asked when Mozenrath stood beside her, leaning against the black marble railing.

"It's a surprise." He said in a low voice, sending chills down the young woman's spine.

He held his hand out to her, which she took with hesitance. Mozenrath looked away but squeezed her hand slightly. Xerxes floated above them, making sure not to be left behind. A moment later, the small group were no longer in the Citadel, instead they were inside a small inner chamber of a cave. The interior shone bright like the night sky on an alien planet. The dark rock ceiling and walls were covered with tiny glowing organisms that resembled blue and green moving stars. Jasmin's dark eyes grew wide, reflecting the shine and glow of the bioluminescent beings. To Mozenrath, it looked as if tiny galaxies were trapped in her eyes. As Xerxes flew off to a separate part of the cave, Mozenrath watched quietly as the young woman slowly walked around the chamber, staring at her surroundings in awe. The feeling of satisfaction tugged at the corners of his mouth. He was glad that he could make her happy. The childish look on her face really did mirror the goodness she radiated. She turned back to him and smiled with a slight wave. Mozenrath managed an awkward smile while trying not to smirk. She walked to were he stood and wrapped her arms around his slender frame. Mozenrath tensed as he hesitantly put his arms around her, patting Jasmin's back before clearing his throat in embarrassment. She let him go with a nervous laugh. Though the girl was growing on him, he would not turn into a romantic sap like Aladdin. Jasmin let go of him, both unsure of what to do next. They both looked away, allowing their thoughts to make a quick idea of just what they were getting into. For things to actually work, one of them would have to be first in giving in and letting the other know how they felt. Taking her hand, Mozenrath led Jasmin out of the cave into what appeared to be a forest. The eel flew off to explore the surrounding area, leaving his master and the girl alone at the cave entrance. The two stood in silence for several minutes, unsure of what to say.

"Jasmin"

"Mozenrath"

They looked at each other and broke out into laughter. After sobering up a little, Mozenrath insisted that she speak first.

"Do you know how to dance?" she asked, receiving a frown. She couldn't hide the laughter in her voice. "I'll take that as a no. What were you going to say?" she added.

"Why did you come back today?" he asked, keeping his eyes toward the forest.

"I told you I would, didn't I? I like you a lot, Mozenrath."She answered while fidgeting with the buttons on her jacket. "I may not know you that much, but you haven't given me a reason to run for the hills" she added with a small smile.

"You like me..." Mozenrath mumbled to himself.

"Do you like me?" she asked, her voice was barely a whisper. Mozenrath glanced at the young woman beside him. She sat with her legs crossed and her back against a large boulder. Her eyes were nervously looking from him the ground as she bit her bottom lip. Mozenrath did not hate her, he even enjoyed her company. Maybe being true to himself as well as to her was the key to creating a deeper relationship.

"Yes... I do like you" he answered, watching as the girl visibly relaxed.

"Oh thank goodness. Now let's dance!"
