Hey everyone back again. Thank you so much to everyone who has read and reviewed so far, you guys are the best and big shout out to everyone who came back to read the new chapter, I know it's been awhile. Anyways, here is the next chapter, I hope you all enjoy!

Pan sat on the edge of her bed. Her head in her hands as tears slowly slipped down her cheeks. After the argument with her parents, she'd rushed herself and Akari to the nearest airport where she'd made that heartbreaking phone call to Vegeta, and took the first plane back home. The ride back had been hell as she'd tried not to think about what had happened. But now, here in the safety of her two bedroom apartment, with her daughter sound asleep, she could let the tears fall. It had broken something inside of her to make that call to Vegeta, to tell him she was taking their daughter and leaving. But what else could she do? Her mother had told her to go and not come back, and that is exactly what she intended to do. And this time, she would stay away. It was the last thought she had before sleep sucked her under.

Vegeta had flown all night and most of the morning and was close to passing out when he'd finally reached his destination. The first thing he'd done after Pan's phone call was go and pay her worthless father a visit. He and the younger Saiyan had exchanged blows until he'd left the younger man in the dirt. The only thing that had kept him from killing the half-breed was Kakkorot holding him back and reminding him that Pan wouldn't want things to go that far. But it was Videl who had given him the most help. As he'd turned to walk out the door, Videl had followed on his heels and slipped him a piece of paper with an address on it. It was Pan's last known address and the most likely place she would have gone.

Videl had looked at him with such a strange expression on her face as she had told him that while she did not approve of what had happened, she wouldn't stand in the way of Pan's happiness. And if that meant Pan being with Vegeta, so be it. She would rather see her daughter happy than living in misery. It was more than he had hoped for from the human woman. He'd left immediately after that, taking to the skies to find his princess. He hadn't even stopped to sleep, flying half away across the country to get to her. And that is what lead to him standing outside the brick apartment building, looking at the address in his hands. This was the right place. The question was, would Pan be happy to see him? Or would she turn him away? That last wasn't even a question. Not really. He would never let her turn him away.

Pan awoke to the sound of heavy knocking on her front door. Her eyes flickered to the bedside clock. She had only been asleep for a couple of hours and rain was now pouring down outside. At least the weather fit her mood. The knocking sounded again, heavier than before as Pan dragged her tired body out of bed.

"Just a second!" she called out.

Who in the world would be pounding on her door at this time? She knew it was later than she realized. Her flight had taken all day and part of the night. It had been almost 8:00 pm when she and Akari had arrived home and had a very late dinner before falling into their own beds. Now at almost midnight, someone was knocking on her door. A part of her sleep hazed mind told her she should have been more cautious, more afraid. But the overwhelming emotional storm she had weathered earlier had really taken it out of her. And she just couldn't muster enough feeling to be concerned about her late night visitor.

Rubbing her tired eyes, Pan opened the front door of her apartment without looking through the peephole and was shocked to find a very soaked Saiyan Prince standing at her front door.

"Vegeta? But-how? What...what are you doing here?"

"Did you really think I would just let you go?"

One minute Pan was staring into Vegeta' eyes, and the next, she was enfolded in the warmth of his embrace as her knees gave out from under her.

"I don't understand," Pan said, clinging tightly to Vegeta.

"You really are daft. You are mine," Vegeta growled. "You are mine in every sense of the word, and you were always meant to be mine. I haven't waited all these years to give you up now."

"But-"

Before Pan could speak another word, Vegeta covered her lips with hers, silencing any doubt she was about to give voice to. Her worries could wait until tomorrow. Tonight was just about them.

So what did you guys think? Sorry the chapter was a short one but I hope you all enjoyed it. Please review and remember to be kind. See you all in the next chapter!
