CHAPTER 10: First Day of School ….part 2

The rumor spread fast that Professors Snape and Taisho were 'together' and in every class there were whispers. Sesshomaru and Snape were both highly amused by some of them. They heard things like, 'Aw man! And he was so hot too!' 'Too bad the new Professor is taken; I'd jump his bones any day!' –That one almost made Sesshomaru laugh –but the funniest one was 'Oh they are both so good looking! I don't care if they're not single; I want pictures of that double sexiness!' Severus heard that one and dropped the phial he had been holding on the ground. Thankfully it was made of unbreakable glass, so it was fine. Throughout the day they heard many more comments, not all of them good. Some of them were things like, 'How disgusting!' 'But I can't believe he chose that ugly, nasty git Snape! –That child got instant detention from Sesshomaru- And worst of all, 'That white haired Thing isn't even human! The beast deserves to be put out to sleep in the forbidden forest. Neither of them is human! They should just be put down!' Needless to say that student got a snarling Severus in their face and a MONTH of detentions to be served with Filch.

Finally the day ended and after relaxing together in their quarters, they went down to dinner. When they entered the great hall together, a hush settled throughout the room, making it obvious that they were the hot topic tonight. Calmly they walked up to the staff table together and sat down. Talk started up again, everyone trying for once to mind their own business.

As they ate, Sesshomaru looked around the great hall at all the students. His eyes once again fell upon one Harry Potter. He noticed that the boy seemed to be being ostracized by his entire house accept for three people. One was a rather bright girl he had met in one of his earlier classes named Granger, the other was a boy named Weasley, they seemed to always be with Potter, than there was another boy who was also in that class called Longbottom. Rather strange name but he couldn't really care less. Other than that, the other students gave him a wide birth.

Sesshomaru turned to Severus. "Meito wa, kono Sesshomaru wa, toiawase ga aru." [Mate, This Sesshomaru has an inquiry] Severus looked to Sesshomaru with curiosity in his eyes. "Watashitachiha, potta no ko ga sonoyoni tsuiho sa rete iru riyu o shiritai." [We wish to know why the Potter child is being ostracized so.]

Severus glanced at the table, guilt flashing across his face. "Saishu gakunen dakurodo ga kaesare, potta was sore o mokugenki shita. Wizarding no sekai ni nai tamashii wa tozen, karera wa kare o shinjite inai, sore wa hontoni naritai, -so. Subete no natsu wa, kotoba no mae ni, kare no namae ga nyusude chusho sa rete ita. Kare wa uso-tsuki o motomete chumoku o yobidasa rete iru. Betsu no shonen wa, sono yoru ni shibo shita nimokakawarazu, karera wa jiko to yonde kontentsu yonimieru, karera wa jissai ni wa sore no tame potta o semeru." [Last school year the Dark Lord returned, and Potter was witness to it. Not a soul in the Wizarding world wants it to be true, so, naturally, they don't believe him. All summer, before term his name was being slandered in the news. He is being called an attention seeking liar. Even though another boy died that night, they seem to be content in calling it an accident and they practically blame Potter for it.] Severus sighed, wishing he could do something to help the boy.

"Watashitachiha Watashitachi no kodomo no koro no shonen o totta baai, soreha Watashitachi no nakama o yorokobadeshou ka?" [Would it please our mate if we took the boy as our ward?] Sesshomaru suggested.

Severus was shocked. "Anata wa kare o saiyo suru no ga suki imidesu ka?" [You mean like adopt him?] Sesshomaru nodded. "Ma, sore wa yoide wanaidarouga, watashi wa kare ga sore ojitsogen suru koto ga dekireba, watashi wa miru koto ga deki, ima no daijin to hijoni yoi jokendearu chujitsuna yujin o motte iru." [Well, it won't be easy but I've got a loyal friend who is on very good terms with the Minister right now, I could see if he can make it happen.] Sesshomaru nodded, satisfied. Severus was very excited and planned to talk to the boy about it tomorrow.

Just then Dumbledore leaned in. "Severus my boy, just wanted to inform you, or rather, warn, I should say, that the new DADA teacher will be getting here tomorrow. She apparently had things to do that kept her at the Ministry last night and today. What I'm warning you about is that apparently, because of all this Voldemort business, she is being allowed to 'evaluate' all of my teachers and fire them if she wants to, so you must be careful around her. I myself heard that she's quite terrible." The Head Master finished quickly.

Severus was shocked at the truly genuine warning the Head Master had given him. He guessed that it meant that there must be some tiny part of the old codger that still cared for Severus. He jumped a bit when Sesshomaru's hand found his. He looked up into his mate's golden eyes and found worry. "Josei wa Watashitachi no ryoho o hassha dekiru koto." [That woman could fire the both of us.] He worried.

Sesshomaru squeezed his mate's hand gently. "Watashitachiha, anata ga shinpai suru hitsuyo wa arimasen shitai. Watashitachiha, anata ga fuko ni suru koto o kano ni suru koto wanai." [We wish you not to worry. We would never allow you to be made unhappy.] He said sternly. He then leaned over and gently pressed his lips to those of his Severus.

Several small gasps were heard throughout the hall and even a few excited squeals as the two mates shared a short, loving kiss.

Severus blushed, "Sate watashi wa wareware dake shindearu koto ga uwasa o shomei shite kita to omoimasu" [Well I guess we've just proved the rumors to be ture.] He said, embarrassed.

Sesshomaru lifted Severus' chin so he could look into his eyes. "Kono Sesshomaru wa, anata ga zokushite iru ka o shiru tame ni subete no negai. Watashitachi no shucho wa akirakadearu." [This Sesshomaru wishes all to know who you belong to. Our claim is obvious.] He finished easily. Sending a rather delicious shiver down Severus' spine.

Eventually dinner ended and they made their way back to their shared rooms. Severus knew he had to eat differently the next morning so he asked Sesshomaru. "Sessh." That one got him another raised eyebrow. "I'm going to need to eat my 'special diet' consisting of raw meat and blood at breakfast tomorrow, will you be joining me?" Sesshomaru nodded. Severus called a house elf, "Squeaky!" The little creature popped into existence, startling Sesshomaru.

"Yes what can Squeaky be doing for Master Severus Sirs?" The tiny elf said, excited.

"I will be needing my 'special diet' tomorrow morning at breakfast, make sure to send enough for Professor Taisho also." He said, then looked toward Sesshomaru. "Do you want anything else?"

"Sake" was Sesshomaru's one worded response.

Severus chuckled. "Please also bring traditional sake and sake set please."

"Of course! Squeaky will do it sirs!" And with a crack, the excitable elf popped away.

Sesshomaru went to Severus and pulled him over to the couch and down to face him, straddling his lap before saying, "That was a very strange creature. What is it?" Sesshomaru inquired.

Severus blushed at the position he had been put in. "That creature is what is called a 'House Elf.' They are a race of creatures that find it their pleasure to serve wizards. Only the wealthiest families have them. The school of course with how big it is, employs several hundred. They are responsible for every meal that is served in the Great Hall, they also clean the entire castle, stoke the fires, and do the laundry. All we have to do when we need something is call out the name of one of them and they will pop in and get us whatever we desire as long as it is within their power to do so." Severus finished matter-of-factly. Severus tried to get off the lap he was currently occupying, but the arms holding him in place did not relent. He wiggled a bit, still trying in vain to get off.

Sesshomaru's eyes darkened at the sight of his beautiful mate wiggling on his lap like that, he held back a soft moan at the sensations flashing to his loins at the feel of that perky, round, ass; rubbing against his thighs as a result of the wiggling. He growled, and pulled his mate tighter to his embrace, burying his nose in that delectable nape; breathing in the scent of his mate. "Mine." He growled out huskily. He grabbed his mate by the hips and ground their pulsing erections together through their clothes. Both moaned. Severus untied Sesshomaru's Obi (sash belt thing) and reached into his hakama (those white pants he wears) and pulled out his member while Sesshomaru undid Severus' pants in turn. With both erections free they continued to grind them together with need. The sensation of the slick skin sliding together was erotically delicious.

After a few minutes of groaning, moaning, rutting and humping, they both reached climax together. Cumming all over each-other's still-clothed chests with throaty moans of satisfaction. They slumped together, breathing harshly. Severus brought out his wand and cast a cleansing charm, removing their spunk.

Slowly, sated; they got up and went to bed together. No words needed. They undressed and slipped under the covers. They snuggled close, content to fall asleep in each other's arms. For the first time, in a long time, they slept soundly, deeply and above all, peacefully.

unfortunately i have fallen behind on writing the chapters ahead of time due to a writers block. but i think ive got that pretty much solved so i am good to go again with the next chapter and am writing it now. :3
