Chapter 11: Heartbeat

England skimmed through the sentences as he read through the book.

"You know we may be nations but we're still like humans so what America is just going through is just something emotional." Mexico said.

"Yes, but we have to be sure. Like you said we're nations and because of that sometimes there other things that also may be affecting us."

"You sound like you may know something. What is your thought?"

"I think America may be having a case of Ghost Past."

"Isn't that when nations have something from the past that haunts them like a ghost?"

"Yeah and I think when you came to this school, you may have caused to make America remember some troubling past."

"You sure this may be it?"

"Yeah so was there anything in both of your relationship that may have caused this?"

"Well I'm not sure. He never acted this way before."

"I wonder then if there is something that he's trying to bottle up."

"Whatever it is. It's his fault! The way he's been behaving lately is just stupid of him!"

"I agree but if he's doing it to bottle up something then we must at least help him."

"I guess your right."

Later that day. England decided to got to America's room to check on him. To his surprise he found his close friend Norway outside the room. "Norway, what are you doing here?"

"I felt a strong air of sadness coming from America's room. It wasn't something normal and a strange feel!" said Norway.

"I see. So America's condition has got worse. We need to do something before he's trapped in his past."

"I have Romania sleeping right now. He's trying to connect to see if there's anything in his dream."

"We better check on him. We wouldn't want Romania stuck in whatever dream America is having."

They went into Romania's room. They found him sleeping peacefully on his bed. England pinched Romania's nose. Romania began to squirm around and woke up.

"Wha-!" Romania began to sniff as he growled at the two in his room.

"Down boy," said Norway. Romania had calmed down after noticing it was just Norway and England.

"Did you find anything, Romania?" England asked.

"Yes! America was in love with a human girl in the past! Her name was Marigold. Marigold Smith."

England was surprised by this. "What exactly this girl do that could have made America haunted by his past?"

"Actually it's what America did! It seems he cheated on her and she died of depression!"

"What?! Why would have America do such thing?!"
