Reflect
Griffin sat in his old targets bunker, with his wife's hand in his natural one, and spoke to his former Master. "Griffin," Revan started. "I know you haven't done this mission alone. Who all makes up your crew?"
"Darth Odysseus had an advanced combat droid, that he had programmed to be completely loyal to me. The droids designation is a Sith one. CID-01. I'd prefer to keep him, as he was the only friend I've had, since I became a Sith. And I haven't had him for long."
"Is he the only member of your crew?"
"No. A Dark Jedi joined my crew, on Nar Shaddaa. Hunter Rar'bell."
"Do you think he could be redeemed?"
"I never thought I'd say this, but he's not worth it. He committed an act, that you and I both view as far more heinous, than murder. Sexual assault. I personally, could never forgive that."
"Nor I. Still, he must stand trial, in Republic court, for this."
"That can't happen. The Assault happened on Dxun. That's Mandalorian property, wether the Republic knows it, or not."
"Alright, true. Still, you know you can't kill him, not unless you have to."
"I know. But he's already scared of me. Chances are, if I tell him to take a hike, he'll do so, and he'll never be heard from again."
"That would be ideal, in this situation. Lead the way Griffin."
Griffin contacted his droid. "CID, Get the Dark Jedi, and the both of you wait outside the Blade, for me."
"Concern: Master, minutes ago, The Dark Jedi held his lightsaber inches to my face, and threatened to end me right there, if I tried to stop him leaving."
"Thank you, CID." Griffin cut the call. He looked at his master. "Rar'bell knows about what has happened. He's on his way."
"How do you want to handle this?"
"I'll wait for him, alone, outside this bunker."
"We'll keep an eye on it, from here."
Griffin nods. He then looks at his wife. "This won't take long. Then we'll be home before you know it."
"Okay." Cariana starts. "I love you."
Griffin smiles. "I love you, too." They kissed, and then Griffin left. Revan and Cariana went into the bunker's security room, and kept their eyes glued to the monitor of the front entrance. The Dark Jedi came into view ten minutes later.
"My Dark Lord Terecept, if you can still be called Dark." Rar'bell stated.
"I can't. And I think that's for the better." Griffin countered.
"For the better, my Lord? You would trade your power within the Sith, the guarantee that your Master gave you, that you would rule the galaxy, for eternity, after learning the power the old Emperor knew, to be a Jedi again?"
"There's two things that are far more important to me, than both the Jedi, and the power Odysseus promised me."
"And what could those possibly be?"
"My wife, and son. I can have neither of them, if I side with the Sith. Hunter, I'm only going to say this once, leave now."
The Dark Jedi shook his head. "Not until I have your head, traitor!" He powered on his red lightsaber, as Griffin did the same. They slammed their blades against each others. Rar'bell would throw strike, after strike, at the newly redeemed Jedi, but his efforts to kill him were doomed for failure. Griffin cut the emitter of his opponent's lightsaber off, destroying it. He held the tip of his blade to his opponents throat. "Kill me." Rar'bell stated.
Griffin deactivated his saber. "No." Rar'bell became furious, and tried to punch Griffin. Griffin caught the punch, with his metal arm, squeezed, and almost crushed Rar'bell's hand. Hunter screamed in pain. Griffin let go. Hunter's hand was clearly broken, but was also badly bleeding.
"Leave now," Griffin started. "And don't let me see you again."
Hunter turned around, and got out of there, as fast as possible. Griffin turned, and looked at the security camera. "That's taken care of."
After I graduate, I'll have all the time in the world.
