A/N: Hey guys! I know this chapter is pretty short, but I wanted to get it out tonight. I put a little cliffhanger in there, which is what the show gave us all the time! I added another subplot to the story, just to dive into the time before the present, and how Charah interacted with each other while Sarah couldn't remember anything. Hope you enjoy this next installment!

Chuck hadn't heard from Sarah in five months, but he still wasn't giving up hope. She was his wife, and he knew she'd come back someday. As of now, he filled his spare time with work, making sure everything at the Buy More was running as smoothly as possible. Things were always quiet with Jeffster gone.

"Hey, dude." Morgan walked up to Chuck, a smile on his face.

"Hi, Morgan." Chuck responded dully.

"Alex and I have rented a few of our favorite cult classics for tonight. Wanna join us for a movie night? Casey is coming too."

"I think I'm gonna stay here and go through some inventory."

"C'mon, Chuck. It's time for you to start moving on. At least until she comes back."

"I am moving on. With work."

"Working yourself to death isn't a good idea."

"There's a lot to get done around here, Morgan."

"I get it, but you need a night off. Please? Just this once?"

"Fine. But there better be extra butter on the popcorn." He smiled.

"Only for you!" Morgan called, walking away.

"Excuse me?" A woman's voice sounded from behind Chuck.

"Yeah, how can I...help...you..." Chuck trailed, struck by the beauty of the woman. She was only a tad bit shorter than he was, fit, blonde, and blue-eyed. She reminded him of Sarah.

"I was wondering if you could take a look at my phone. It won't turn on." She looked worried. His luck with women and phones hadn't proven lucky.

"Uh, yeah, I can put it on my pile."

"Is there any way you could look at it now? I have a meeting in two hours, and I put a lot of my notes on my phone." Her face was filled with worry.

"Sure, let me have a look." He grabbed the woman's phone from her.

"I really appreciate it," She glanced at his name tag, "Chuck."

"It's no problem, really." He popped off the back, and removed the battery. "It looks like you have a bit of water damage here."

"Water damage?"

"Have you taken it anywhere that it could've gotten wet?"

"My son has swimming lessons every Friday, but other than the pool, no."

"Sometimes the humidity and condensation can do the trick." He removed the little SD card from it's slot in the phone. "Lucky for you, you've got a pretty decent card here which should've backed up most of your data." He smiled.

"So all I need is a new phone?"

"Correct. I can go ahead and set you up with that."

"You're a life saver." She sighed.

"I'm just a regular old nerd."

"Well, without you, I'd probably be without a job."

"Pretty important meeting, huh?"

"I pitch marketing ideas to big companies. Right now I'm working on Verizon."

"Maybe you could use this scenario." Chuck laughed. "Aha. I found your model." He held up a replica of her phone.

"Do all the nerds treat customers with such great service?" She asked.

"Oh no. Most of them only pretend to work."

"Well, thanks you again, Chuck. Maybe I'll find my way back in here at some point."

"I'll be here." He smiled, and she was gone.

Present

As soon as the finished product was up and running, everyone met at the base. Ellie had come up with a specific genome generated software for the new and improved intersect glasses, one that would be sure to give Sarah some specifics of who she used to be. Chuck had Morgan help him create new data chips for the sides of the glasses, with certain images from their past.

"Now, I'm not sure how accurate this will be. It could even damage your brain further." Ellie warned, holding the glasses in her hands.

"But the files we found on Gold's computer were sure to work on his wife." Sarah responded.

"And those files were already imprinted with her specific data. We had to remove them and start from scratch, which could've corrupted the base of the files that are needed to implant the new ones." Chuck added.

"So this isn't going to work?"

"I didn't say that. We just want to make sure you know the risks before we do this." He grabbed Sarah's hand.

"Can we have a minute?" She looked to the others.

"Of course." Ellie nodded.

"We'll be in the other room." Casey added. The three of them left, leaving Chuck and Sarah alone.

"Why are you trying to talk me out of this?" Sarah didn't hesitate.

"What? I'm not." Chuck frowned at her.

"It sure seems like it."

"I just want to make sure that this is what you want."

"It is what I want. Isn't it what you want?"

"Of course it is." He looked down. "But, I don't want you to do this for me, Sarah. I want you to do it solely because you want to."

"Chuck, I could never do it solely because I want to, and you know that. I have too many people in my life that this affects. Honestly, Emma is a big part in m decision. I want to be able to give her the best life possible, and I want to that as the best version of myself."

"I get that, I do. But I don't want you to regret it."

"Why would I regret it?"

"Because then you'll really be stuck with me."

"And that's a bad thing?"

"There's so much you're capable of, Sarah. And if anything, these years apart have made me wonder just how much I hindered you."

"That is so not how I feel." She took his face in her hands. "Even without my memories, I knew you had helped me in so many ways. I knew I loved you even if I couldn't feel it. You, Chuck Bartowski, are the one thing I know I got right." She kissed him softly, soaking in the moment.

"So, we're going to do this?"

"Definitely. Bring on the intersect." She smiled. They joined the others, ready for whatever was going to happen.

"You ready?" Ellie asked.

"Yes." Sarah said, sharing a look with Chuck.

"Okay." Ellie handed the glasses over to the blonde.

"Before I put these on, I want to say thank you. To all of you." She looked at each of them.

"For what?" Morgan asked.

"I gave you every reason to give up on me, and none of you did."

"You would've done the same." Casey stated.

"Maybe the old me."

"Which you're going to get back in a few seconds." Chuck smiled hopefully.

"There's only one way to find out." She held the glasses a few inches away from her face. "Here goes nothing." When she placed them on her face, a wave of images flashed over the lenses. She found herself in a momentary paralysis, unable to do anything except look at the colors washing over her eyes. It was over almost as soon as it had started. Sarah removed the glasses slowly.

"Well?" Chuck looked to her, but she couldn't respond. "Sarah? Did it work?"

September 16th, 2012

A few weeks had passed since the mysterious blonde had come in with phone troubles, and Chuck found himself more bored than ever before. The work days dragged on slower and slower, and Chuck found himself eating dinner alone and going straight to bed every single night. Tonight was no different, except for the fact that his newfound blonde beauty showed up as he was closing the store.

"Chuck!" He heard a voice as he locked up the front.

"Oh, hi." He turned around.

"Are you closed?"

"For about an hour. I've been doing inventory."

"Oh."

"Is your phone water damaged again?" He laughed.

"No, I was hoping to find myself a good case."

"A case."

"Okay, yeah that sounded stupid to me too." She laughed nervously. "I was hoping to see you."

"I knew you would come back for more." He frowned slightly at his words.

"What're you doing right now?" She asked.

"Finally getting your name."

"Right! It's Charlotte."

"Well Charlotte, if you're trying to ask me out, I'm free."

"Good, because I was."

"They just opened a new place across the lot, it should still be open." He suggested.

"Sounds good to me." She replied. Once they got there, neither of them could stop talking. They talked about everything. Chuck even mentioned Sarah, and dove into their story without disclosing the fact they were spies. He hadn't been out with a woman in a long time, but he kept up extremely well. After they were done eating, they walked back to the Buy More lot.

"Maybe next time I'll show up at your workplace." Chuck teased.

"You don't even know where I work."

"Right."

"But if you figure it out, I wouldn't be against it."

"Is that a challenge?" He asked, watching her walk away.

"What if it is?" She opened her car door, "Can you handle it?" She got in the car and drove away. He sure had a type. The whole drive home, he couldn't stop thinking about Charlotte. The seductive blonde who had surprised him. He was smiling as he unlocked the door to the apartment, but screamed once it was all the way open. A dark figure was standing in the middle of the living room. He flicked on the lights as fast as he could.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." A familiar voice apologized.

"Sarah?"

"You weren't home so I-"

"Broke in and forgot to turn on the lights?"

"You're upset."

"Upset? No way. More like surprised and incredibly confused. Last time I saw you, you left me for good."

"Not exactly."

"What do you mean?"

"I asked Beckman to give me my own mission away from Burbank."

"So?"

"So I didn't want you asking her about it. I sort of lied."

"Sort of?"

"I knew I'd come back at some point, but I did need some time to figure myself out."

"Why are you back now?"

"My mission brought me back here, coincidentally."

"I'm out of the spy game, I don't want to know."

"I think you should hear me out."

"Why?"

"Because my target went on a date with you tonight."

"What? Charlotte?"

"Do you not know how to spot an agent by now? She's working for an organization that we're trying to bring down. Somehow she must've found out about us and our past."

"You don't say."

"I'm sorry, Chuck."

"Sure." He went into the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of scotch that Sarah had stashed before her memories were lost.

"How'd you meet, anyway?" She asked.

"Phone troubles." He said with monotone.

"Oh."

"You spies just can't leave me alone, can you?"

"I guess not. And this one needs your help. Will you help me, Chuck?"

"Of course I will, Sarah. You're my wife."
