Well another chapter for my beloved story, Dear Diary, enjoy.
Sakura sighed for the 10th time that day, fiddling with the end of her pencil. She moved the long bangs of her pink hair out of her eyes and stared hard at the front of the room, she was in English, a class, which she was very grateful, for which she was not with Gaara that period.
She had nearly all classes with him, from maths, to social studies to music and art. English was the only class she didn't have him in. All day he had been tailing behind her, snarling at anyone who stared and looked at them funny, which in others defence, would be a very confusing sight indeed.
For some reason and another he decided to be nice and follow her every move. It was annoying as hell and, not mention, confusing to her. She didn't know why he had a fasciation for her or found her remotely interesting, she was plain, simple, old bullied Sakura. Nothing drastic.
She groaned when she read the clock, it was 20 minutes into class and Iruka was still talking about ancient greece and how most of our numbers and words came from them. She already knew what he was talking about, but with the slow minded people in the class he was explaining it a third time.
Her head still throbbed, and she wanted nothing more then to bang her head on the table repeatedly to stop the ache, but, atlas, people would already think her weird if she was to bang her head on the desk, they had took one look at her beaten state and laughed behind their cruel fake smiles.
Lies.
People are so dense when trying to conceal their hidden emotion. She scoffed, as if she couldn't tell their crude remarks or laughs were about her, they always were. But no, no one knew just how smart Sakura Haruno really is. She passes her test and homework with flying colours, yet, she is still still treated as if she has a disease.
Sakura shook her head, wincing when her sore arm and wrist started to play up as well. Reaching with her good arm to the bag beside her she brought out a flavoured water bottle and took a big swig of it, draing nearly half the contents. Wiping the water that dribbled down her chin with the back of her hand, she looked at the board Iruka was writing on.
"And you see." He pointed to many different names on the board, "Many believe that this is where must of our religion comes from with the term 'god'. Zesu, being our primary top god." He emphasised the word top god with two fingers, "And the others falling under his rule." He explained.
Sakura just rolled her eyes, she knew what he was saying even before he was going to say it. Stupid pathetic people not thinking. Sakura thought.
As Sakura was lost in thought she hardly notice a figure open the class room door and hand the teacher a note of referral.
Smelling the faint musky smell of a cigarette and alcohol, she looked up to a pair of sea-form green eyes, the eyes of hell.
"What are you doing here?" She sneered, unbelievable shock written on her face.
"I'm." His face came so close to hers, "In this classroom of English with you now." He smugly repiled, an triumph smirked played across his face.
Sakura's breath caught in her throat, she didn't know what to say or do or even think. Gaara was in another class with her, with her. He was playing dangerous game with her, like dealing a pack of cards, he held all of them, Sakura just had to pick her chosen few and they would mean either her life or her death.
Sakura shook her head, "You were in another English class."
"And I changed." He shrugged, walking to the empty desk beside her, The freaks wanted to sit at back with each other, the pink-haired freak and, now, the red haired demon, or so everyone was calling him.
Sakura held her breath to keep calm, he wanted her angry, she could see small sickening smile on his lips, he knew he irrated her, and he basket in it, toyed with her.
"I would like everyone to be partnered up for the next assignment." Iruka sighed, it was the third time explaining this to his students and some of them still didn't get it, but, unfortunately, he had to make them do an assignment for the end of the semester grading, "It is a very important assignment, which you will have a full semester to complete, because you will have to submit this assignment to me by the end of the semester, and no other work beside it will be handed out for yours." He heard a few students cheer and roar in happiness, he shook his head, "I know what yours are all thinking but no, I will pick your partners, which means no swapping, and the work must be complete before then, which means working effectively, or else no grading."
Iruka smiled when he heard a few sads students whine.
Sakura held her breath when he picked up a clip board beside him and started reading the names of people and their partners. Please do not partner me with Gaara, please do not partner me with Gaara. Sakura pleaded with herself over and over in her head.
"Jesse Campbell and Molly Taylor. David Bull and Mia Turff" Iruka read out several other names after till he reached the end, "Sakura Haruno." Iruka looked up from the clip board and looked at Sakura, there were two other people besides Gaara, she still had a chance, "I was going to partner you by yourself but..." He looked at Gaara beside her, his feet plopped on the desk and not seemingly caring about his surroundings, "Now that we have a new student in here, you may as well be partnered with him." He finished, the other two students took their cue of being together.
Sakura bit her lip to keep from screaming at the top of her lungs in rage, No, No this can not be happening, this can not be happening. Sakura chanted in her head over and over.
She looked at all the other students and saw, some, were happy with the decision and their partners, and some, like her, were absolutely horrified with their partners.
Hearing a slight sound of a shuffling of a desk, she looked at Gaara whose face was filled with amusement.
"Partners, Uh?" He smirked at her, his red as blood hair bangs covering just above his eyelids, he would of been handsome to her if not for the fact that he had weird mood swings and a terrible temper.
Sakura just grumbled, not really wanting to meet his eyes and see the look of a winner.
"buckle up, Blossom." His face was mere inches from hers, "We're in this together." He breathed to her.
Sakura sat by herself on the cafeteria lunch room, normally she wouldn't even be here but, however, Gaara had told her to find both him and her a table to sit at. Sakura, not wanting to cause a scene or make him angry for the first time that day, rolled her eyes but agreed none the less.
She sat with a tray full of food in front of her, not particularly hungry, though Gaara had given her money to get a tray full, so without an agruement she got the tray and sat on a lone table waiting patiently for the red head.
Everyone had kept their distance from her, as if they were afraid to even step a foot on her path. Anyone closes to her on a table had moved to a different seating, it confused Sakura greatly. She had done nothing to no one, she didn't have a evil or scary bone in her, it striked her very odd to have people clear a path for her or moved out of her generally direction.
Gaara.
He had to be the cause of all this, people were very afraid of him, but who could blame any of them? Heck even she was afraid of him, sometimes. She wouldn't know what kind of mood he was in, be it bad and loud or silent and amused or violent and dangerous. She wouldn't know till she was either pinned up to the wall or crashed between his loving arms.
She huffed, As if. She snorted. He wouldn't know what loving arms were even if she slapped his face.
"Well, well, well." A feminine voice appeared, "If it isn't Sakura Haruno."
Sakura looked at the group that was forming around Sakura.
"Ino,Casey, Kiba." She greeted them all with loathing in her voice. She looked around the circle, confusion written on her face, "Where's Sasuke?" She cringed when she asked.
"Well." Casey chipped in, her fingers running across the table, "That's what we came here to talk to you about."
"Why?" Sakura questioned, her brows knitted together.
"Well you see, you did a very bad thing the other day." Kiba walked beside her, "A very bad thing, indeed." Kiba grabbed the locks of Sakura's hair sharply, much the same way Sasuke had.
"Oh look, she's had enough." The blonde girl bent down to her knees, watching the pink haired girl cough up blood.
"Oh how sad, we were only just beginning." The brown haired boy kicked Sakura in the stomach as she cried out in pain, crawling into bowl as best she could and shield herself from the more painful attacks.
"She can't be given up just yet, there's still so much more coming." Sasuke bent down to reach for Sakura's bloody-pink locks, "right... Sakura, heh." He smiled down on her as she cringed from the harsh tightness Sasuke was gripping with her pink locks.
Sakura had a slight flashback as she began to reminisce of the attack from Sasuke, she was hoping she would forget completely, apparently not.
"Sasuke, nearly got in trouble for your pathetic ass." Ino whined, giving her a harsh stare.
And to think they had been friends years before...
"Yeah, and now we can't find him today." Casey piped in, her pretty little face covered in make up that wasn't well blended in or the right skin tone with a fake darker spray tone. The definition of cake-face mess.
"So what do you." Sakura cringed as Kiba's hand tighten on her locks, "Think it has to do with me?" She cried in pain with her arm, it had bumped on the table.
"Obviously he went looking for you!" Ino stated as if she had known the answer.
"Well I'm no where near him. If I am here and he is else where." Sakura really pitied how Stupid the group was without Sasuke.
"Well..." Casey began, but found no logical explanation.
"Who cares." Kiba said, "We can always start what he can finish." Kiba smirked.
"Heheh, yes." Casey smiled, "We could."
"That won't be necessary." A voice called, all the students in the cafeteria stopped eating and stepped back.
"Who the fuck wants to mess-" Kiba was cut off with a punch to the face, blood spat out of his mouth.
"Kiba!" Both Casey and Ino cried.
Kiba held the cheek that was punched, some of his teeth, he could feel, were knocked right of their gums.
"You will pay." Kiba spat out more blood.
"No." the voice said, blood covered all over their top, matching the colour of their hair.
"G-Gaara." Kiba stuttered, stepping back, "I-I didn't know you were there."
"Yes I am very much here." Gaara stated, arms crossed.
"We... We were just having a little chat with Sakura." He looked at the girls, "Right girls?"
"Y-yes." They both nodded, scared out of their wits.
"It really didn't look like it." He walked up to Sakura, standing infront of her protectively.
Why does he do that? Sakura thought. He is the most confusing person on the planet! I swear he does my head in.
"Well... you know..." He said nervously.
"No." He bent his body forward, "I dont know."
Kiba was sweating, he was more than scared of Gaara, he was petrified of Gaara.
Kiba licked his lips, "I didn't mean anything with Sakura." He stepped back when Gaara slowly walked towards him, "C'mon... We all like to play games once and a while." He bumped into a a table.
"If you ever." Gaara's face was in Kiba's, "Touch Sakura, look at Sakura or even think of doing anything to Sakura." He paused for a moment, "I will pound you down the ground and bash the shit out of you just like I did with Sasuke."
Both Ino and Casey gasped.
"You hurt Sasuke?" Casey began.
"Shut up slut." Gaara roared.
Casey slumped on the chair and silently cried to herself, no one was as rude to her as Sasuke was.
While everyone elses attention was on Casey, Gaara took the opportunity to take a good hard swing at Kiba and continued swinging hard and painful punches while he was knocked to the ground.
Sakura, being frightful of the situation, bolted from her chair and scurried out of the cafeteria as fast as her sore legs could take, she didn't want to be there when the girls would take their precious little time they had to pray their attention on Sakura and cause pain as Gaara had to Kiba and Sasuke, she knew the girls too well.
Sakura bolted through the halls, puffing as her lungs felt like they were on fire, her arm hitting against her chest, which caused quite a bit of awful pain. She didn't care at that moment, she just needed to get out there and find somewhere safe, somewhere her mind could be at ease.
She saw the sign that said the way to the stairs, flinging herself by the corner she bumped into something soft and tall. Looking up from the ground, she saw a blonde-haired pony tailed woman holding her head, though she couldn't quite make out the exact features.
"Ow." She groaned, "Easy there, you could of killed the both of us." Hearing the woman sigh, she saw a hand reach out to her, "Here."
Reaching cautiouingly, she took the hand in hers and felt the strong pull from the other woman help her up. Seeing her figure more clearly, she had four pony tails on the top of her head that looked like a bundle of straws, she had purple eye shadow and purple everything, from purple dress and sandles to purple lips and earring and even stockings, the only thing that wasn't purple was her hair, it was a more dirty sand blonde. But heck, she loved purple.
"Temari." She brought back her hand to Sakura.
"Sakura." Sakura grabbed the girls hand and they shook evenly.
"Ah." She raised a brow, "Your the famous Sakura." She smirked, a smirked that looked all to familiar.
"W-what?" Sakura rasied her own brow, winicing when the pain in her arm was brought back, she just knew all that running would do no good for her arm.
"You alright?" she asked, worried in her tone.
"Yeah..." She breathed, "I am alright... How do you know me?" She asked.
"You don't know me." Shock was in Temari's voice.
"N-No." Sakura shook her head, Should I know this girl? Sakura thought.
"Figures." The blonde sighed and shook her head, "He wouldn't of told you in the first place."
"W-who?" Sakura's head was spining.
"I'm Temari No Sabaku." She said once again.
"Yes." She said cautiously, "But how do you know me?"
"I'm Gaara's older sister." She stated
Heheh, mean I know to just stop right there, but hey, suspence is good hahaha. R/R and I hope you enjoyed it, it is a bit longer for yours.
