Xavier started recording with his pipboy, "I decided to start with the laser weapons first because not only do I have many of them due to my windfall, but also I have only one of the Gauss rifle. Conveniently enough the screws are all flathead, so I was able to take them all apart with my lockpicking tool. I started with the beat up one I got off the merc, I broke the crystal by accident because I didn't know how to do it right. I was able to take apart all the other laser rifles without much incident, the first one was a learning experience. It was a screw short in the first place and I managed to strip the first screw I tried. But despite my screw ups, I now know much about these Laser rifles and I am going to build a composite one.

I plan on enhancing the Gauss Rifle as well for other usage. One shot per microfusion cell is just wrong. I don't think I can improve the efficiency and preserve weapon power, but I certainly can make it into a clip or something." He stopped the recording and picked up the pieces of the disassembled laser rifles and set them in the locker by the door.

Moira's prices for some of the improvements on his house were overpriced, especially when they could be found out in the wasteland and scavenged for free. The only things he hadn't been able to find were the Christmas lights for the love machine theme, but he wasn't about to pay the full thousand caps for some lights.

He looked over his tunnel snakes jacket, the seams at the shoulders were stretched but it was good leather, it would sell.

He sold all the stuff he would be willing to sell including that, making a tidy little profit. He wouldn't need Butch's jacket anymore.

He made several trips to the outcast outpost, picking up everything he wanted from it setting it in his house.

He picked up a wrench and began taking apart the scrapped outcast armor, and putting it back together fully. His classical music helped him through the frustrating work, noting that the outcast power armor wasn't very well maintained and his sergeant would have kicked his ass if he treated his power armor that way.

He paused to think about that for a moment. He was never in the military. Damn sim. He fixed them up as best he could and managed to make two half decent composite suits which needed new parts.

"Now I know why their power armor didn't hold up too well and they needed backup against those super mutants that I could now have destroyed singlehandedly." he muttered. He stopped the music and began recording on his pipboy, "I have successfully deconstructed and remade outcast power armor. There was only enough parts for two despite me getting armor off of six different people. I now have two spares in case shit happens. But if shit happens, I will not only lose my best suit of power armor but my best chance of survival. Note to self. When I make the new house, I need to make an armor facility. I will need a terminal for programming, a few protectrons, mister gutsys and mister handys for scrap to be made into the facilities, and lots of polish to make do until I manufacture better manufacturing facilities. I will also need many chemicals so as to replicate the coating on the power armor and to duplicate the extreme durability of this specific set." he stopped the recording and gathered the scraps from the power armor into a pile. Worse came to worse, he would be able to use those as spare parts.

He went to work on his laser weapon.
