Chapter 11: The Talk Max's Point of View
After what happened with Angel and her boyfriend, ugh I hate saying he's that, Fang and I talked about it and we both agreed it was time we give the younger kids 'The Talk'.
So here I was in Nudge's room getting ready for what would go down in history as the most embarrassing thing I have ever had to talk about with the younger flock. Luckily I am not the only one who has to go through this.I convinced Fang to give Gazzy 'The Talk' too. Anyways here I was.
"So Max what did you want to tell us. I can tell you're nervous" Angel said reading my expression, thank god not my mind.
"Yeah! Is it about Fang or Iggy or Gazzy? Omg do they guys have something! Are they going to die! Omg I am going to be a wid-" Nudge ranted on but was interrupted by my hand.
"No Nudge, the guys are fine, and you wouldn't become a widow unless you and Gazzy were married" I said letting go of her mistake.
"Okay! Oh and were pretty much married! I mean we kiss, hold hands, and snuggle. What else do married people do?" Nudge asked.
'Oh Nudge if only you knew' I thought to myself.
"If only Nudge knew what?" Angel asked reading my mind.
"Okay guys I think it time we have…the talk" I said and watched as their eyes got confused.
"What's 'The Talk" Nudge asked making quotes in the air when she spoke the talk.
"Well if you shut up I would tell you!" I all but yelled.
They just looked at me quiet.
"Okay guys...so when 2 people fall in love and get married they have something called sex" I said slowly.
"Oh I like that word! sex, sex, sex, sex!" Nudge chanted.
I put my hand over her mouth to make her quite down.
"What's 'sex' Max" Angel asked looking at me.
"Sex is when a boy or a girl try to have a baby" I said slowly.
Dang, I hope fang is having more luck then me.
"How do people have kids? Don't they just go to the hospital and buy one?" Angel asked looking at me with questioning eyes.
"Well they..."
Fangs Point of View
"So that's what it is" I say to Gazzy.
Max had told,well more like ordered, Iggy and I to give Gazzy 'the talk'. Too bad Iggy wasn't much a help. You would have thought Iggy being all perverted he would be doing all the talking, but no.
"Fang can I ask you a question" Gazzy asked looking up at me.
I could see this was awkward for him,hell for me too, but he had to know this.
"Yeah" I answered sitting down next to him.
"Have you and Max had sex?" Gazzy asked embaressed.
"What! Why would you think that?" I shout at him.
We hadn't done anything because Max wanted to wait till marriage. She already knew we loved each other so she did not have to worry about that. She also said she didn't know if she could get pregnant or not and didn't want to risk it.
"Well, you always have those red things on your are they called again? Oh yeah hickeys" Gazzy said.
I looked at Gazzy thinking of what to say. Out of the corner of my eye i saw Iggy trying to hold in a smile. He knew as we as i did i was screwed.
"Just because I have hickeys doesn't mean Max and I have had sex" I said and sadly that was the truth.
"Okay" Gazzy said as if he thought I was lying.
I personally wish I was lying.
"So any more questions?" I asked wanting this to be over.
"No I get it" Gazzy answered.
Thank god! He was a smart kid he wouldn't mess up lie that.
"And remember no sex 'till marriage" I said as he got up to leave.
Poor little guy must feel so awkward.
"Yeah I got it" Gazzy called as he left the room.
I walked out of Iggy's room and into Max's hoping she was done. I was going to knock, when I heard...
"No Fang and I haven't had sex" Max said.
"But you want to" Angel said.
She was probably reading Max's mind. I could feel myself smile at this.
"Angel! What did I tell you about reading my mind!" Max shoued.
"Sorry. There just so loud when you think about Fang" Angel said and then added "so pretty much all of your thoughts are loud."
Wow! Max didn't want to wait? hm. I opened the door then.
"Hey Max, were done with Gazzy. Are you done?" I asked Max.
"Yeah were done right guys?" Max said and I smirked.
"Yeah" Angel said with a mischievous smile indicating she knew i knew.
"But I have questions!" Nudge complained as Angel pulled her out.
She must have said something in Nudge's head because after a silence Nudge said "Oh! Okay! Well have fun!"
Maybe the flock knowing wasn't such a good idea, but then again they need to know.
"Use protection!" Nudge shouted leaving the room.
I saw a small light blush appear on Max's Face. It was so cute.
"Shut up!" Max yelled after Nudge.
I lied next to were Max was seated.
"So how did it go?" Max asked hugging my waist.
"Fine" I said and added "Gazzy's a smart kid."
"I know. They all are, but still" Max sighed.
I kissed her forehead as I wrapped my arms protectively around her tiny waist.
"Things are going to be awkward for a while right?" Max asked.
"Yeah" was all I said as I held her close taking in her sweet smell of strawberry roses.
