Hi guys! You would not believe the writers block I've been having! I haven't had a single idea for any of my stories, so lets see how this goes.

Chapter 11 Here we go!

Asking Druids for help with weaponry is, interesting to say the least. They really don't know the first thing and if you go to one of the elders they go on this whole speech about how weapons are evil and a Druid should never use them. So of course the logical thing to do was to go to the children.

Kera and I knew we were rubbish with swords, but that didn't stop us from stepping up to will and demanding he teach us. Much to Morgana's amusement I may add.

Will pushed us for hours, trying to teach us parries and strikes that his father had taught him before he had gone off to war, time after time we fell to the ground gasping for breath, and soon he gave up.

"You are the two most hopeless people I have ever met in my life." He said with a teasing light in his eye. He had barely broken a sweat and we were drenched.

Morgana tried to teach us archery after boasting that she could beat the legendary Arthur Pendragon in an archery match, but we were rubbish at that as well.

For hours we went around trying to find something we were good at until,

"Why don't you try these?" The triplets handed us several small silver daggers. But these were different than normal daggers, these didn't have handles, instead small holes to grip on to, and they were wicked sharp. (Arthur sucked in a breath. Merlin and sharp objects were never a good combination.)

"What are they?" Kera asked, examining one of them. They were beautiful with an inscription in ancient Druidic and metal that glinted in the sunlight.

"They're throwing knives." Jonas, the triplet in the middle, shrugged. "Easier to manage than arrows. Try it."

We both took a nervous step towards the targets. Jonas showed us how to properly hold and throw the knife and then,

Thunk.

Kera's knife hit the target right in the middle.

Thunk.

My knife landed only a few millimeters away from hers. This was easy! This was fun!

Throughout the day we learned different ways to throw the knives, how to spin them, how to throw more than one at a time. And we were naturals at it!

All four of us went home tired and smiling. And then disaster stuck.

Ealdor was prone to bandit attacks, as you know Arthur; we are a small village with no blacksmith and little more than pitchforks and words to arm ourselves. And at the darkest hour of that night they struck again.

The shouts of the villagers woke us; men in crude armor were ransacking houses taking out sacks of grain and dried meat. Things we needed to survive, without them over half the children wouldn't be able to survive the harsh winter.

"Stay inside." Mother hissed, ushering us to the farthest corner of the hut. "Be quiet." She ordered as she made her way to the door.

"Mama!" Kera and I whispered.

"Hunith!" Will and 'Gana whispered.

"Shhh!" Mother put a finger to her lips. "I've got to help." She grabbed a frying pan to arm herself and crept out the door.

And we stayed huddled there, in the dark, with nothing but our breath and the scuffling outside to break the silence. Finally we had enough of it.

"Who else is tired of being pushed around?" Will asked, gritting his teeth.

We all raised our hands in the dark. Even though we couldn't see each other's motion, we all heard it cut through the air.

"Then it's settled." Kera and I deadpanned. "Let's fight back."

With a snap of our fingers we were in our Druid clothes. Chainmail felt cold and heavy but it would help us protect the village.

I assume we all exchanged looks, I felt a light squeeze on my hand but it didn't feel like my sister.

We ran out into the open. Our village looked horrible, the hay was on fire, some of our villagers that tried to fight back lay bleeding on the ground, the smell of blood caught in our throats and tried to choke us.

Will drew his sword and Kera and I grabbed some of our knives out of our boots.

The bandits in the area heard the motion and turned.

"Aww." One of them said, cocking his head, "Wittle kiddies got a hold of some wittle knives." All the other men around him laughed.

They drew their own swords "Wittle kiddies shouldn't play with knives." And they charged us.

Instinctively Kera and I threw up our hands and sent them flying backwards. Groaning, a few of them staggered to their feet and regarded us with a new look in their eye.

"Sorcerers huh?" He spat, "I know a king in Camelot that would pay a pretty price for your heads."

Kera raised an eyebrow. "Yeah? Well you'll have to catch us first." All four of us turned and ran.

'Split up!' I mentally hissed at them. Kera and I dashed off in one direction while Will and Morgana turned the other way.

We knew as soon as we turned that we were heading to a dead end, but that was the plan. To make it seem like they were winning and then turn the tables on them. Kera and I ran inside one of the barns with them on our tails. We dove into one of the haystacks and waited

They came in sniffing like bloodhounds. "Nowhere to hide now." One of them sing songed. "Come out little kiddies. We ain't gunna hurt you, we'll leave that to Uther."

Slowly and silently Kera and I drew our knives and with a quick motion sent them flying at the bandits. They embedded themselves in their necks. I can't say I enjoyed the gurgling sounds they made or the blood that never seemed to stop flowing, it was actually rather disgusting and terrifying, but they chose to attack my village. Big mistake.

Next Kera sent a fireball at the remaining bandits. It might not of killed them, but the thugs were hurt pretty badly and I could almost see their tails between their legs as they flew out of there.

I don't know how Will and Morgana managed but judging by the whoops if joy, I assume they did okay.

We never did hear from those bandits again.

But when we came out of the barn our mother was waiting for us. One look at her face told me, we'd have a lot of explaining to do.

I'm going to D.C for 10 days and summer camp for a week after that so don't expect an update before July. I'll try and see if I can get to a computer before that though! Love ya!
