Meanwhile, in the NOL base in Ibukido, Sasuke and his group run to the halls in search for Hazama. At the same time, Ragna and Hakumen would talk to each other.

"So the crybaby's all grown up to make up all the bad things he did in the past," the former started.

"You don't have to say that out loud, Ragna," the latter countered.

"To think unlike the current version of you, you were kind to our sister, Saya."

"And I despised my past incarnation for his bullying towards her, and of the horrible things he did in this timeline. In fact, I hated the man I once was."

"I see..."

"To think Ragna is getting along well with him more than Jin," Sasuke talked to Tsubaki.

"Well, it doesn't help the fact that Hakumen is way nicer than him," Celica added.

As they continue their run, Hazama is shown to be in front of them, and he is not looking at them from behind.

"Your plans will be finished, Terumi!" Ragna pulls out his Blood-Scythe and points it at his direction.

"There's no way out for you this time, you bastard!" Hakumen does the same with his Okami.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't Raggy and Hakky. It's nice for you two to team up against me. After all, you two are brothers, biologically speaking," Hazama said with a sinister tone. Then, he takes off his hat, revealing his wild green spiky hair and his yellow eyes opened. "You two make such inconvenience to the Imperator herself, and of course, to Madara, as well."

He tosses his hat and makes his move by running to the two. Ragna catches it, and he gets hit by the stomach by the evil man, and he gives Hakumen the same treatment. After this, he gets his hat back and puts it back on, putting his hair down and eyes shut, and smirked at what he just did. Celica has taken into hiding from a pillar to avoid the fighting.

Tsubaki charges with her Izayoi blade, but Hazama counters it with a butterfly knife on his right hand, then holds her down.

"Tell me this, Terumi. What will Madara accomplish by unleashing his Eye of the Moon plan with the Imperator?" Sasuke asked while pointing his sword at him.

"Hahahaha! Very good of you to think of that, Hakky. You guessed right what the legendary Uchiha is planning to do with the Imperator," Hazama laughed, still holding Tsubaki down. "Don't you understand what he is planning? When their plan has become reality, all of us will be freed from our sufferings forever."

"Even if everything will be just an illusion?" the redhead asked before sending a kick to his gut to free herself.

She attempts for an attack, despite for the fact that he blocked it.

"Now, Sasuke!" she cried.

That is when her boyfriend pulls out some wire strings and traps Hazama to a pillar. Once that is done, he puts one wire to his mouth and makes the hand signs snake, dragon, rabbit, and tiger.

Fire Style: Dragon Flame Jutsu!

A stream of fire is about to engulf the latter.

"Oh my, this isn't good," Hazama muttered, but before the fire gets to him, he pulls out his butterfly knife, and cuts down the wires to avoid the stream. "Very impressive, Sasuke. Perhaps I would like to fight you one on one."

"You want to fight only me? You got it," Sasuke agreed to the matter.

The two have their eyes locked on each other with their blades ready to attack. Charging onto each other, their blades locked on to each other before the ninja jumps away from him.

"Not bad, but can you handle this? Ouroboros, activate!" Hazama looks impressed before he is surrounded with a long chain and snake-head appearing on its head.

With the chain appear on his direction, Sasuke dodges it by jumping into the air. Next, he makes the hand signs snake, ram, monkey, boar, horse, and tiger.

Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!

Then, he exhales a giant fireball from his mouth, and his opponent dodges it.

"Be careful with him, Sasuke. He looks tough," Hakumen gives a tip.

"Don't worry about that, Hakumen. I'm much more stronger than him."

"Then why don't we test that one out, eh, Sasuke?" Hazama appears from behind with a sadistic grin as he grabs hold of him with the chain and tosses him like a ragdoll.

"Sasuke, no!" Tsubaki cried in concern as she runs to her enemy. "Damn, you lousy..."

"No, Tsubaki! Don't butt in! I can do this on my own!" the Uchiha exclaimed, and she follows his command. Then, his left hand is glowing with electricity.

Chidori Stream!

Placing his hand to the floor, a stream of electricity is appear to the evil man, and Hazama runs dodging it back and forth. However, he is taken by surprise when Sasuke uses this as an opportunity to stab him to the chest with his sword, pinning him to a pillar.

"You have gotten strong," the green-haired said weakly.

"Listen closely, Terumi. Where are Madara and the Imperator hiding?" Sasuke asked.

"Ha! Wouldn't you like to know?" Hazama shrugs this off as he sends a kick to him and gets up to the ground. "Too bad it's top secret."

"Then I'll make you spill."

"Hahahaha! I like to see you try."

Sasuke makes his left hand glow with electricity once again as an electricity-like spear appear to have stabbed Hazama to the spot where the Ouroboros hasn't been guarded. All he has to do is penetrate the center of the chain.

"You bastard!" the captain has been underestimated by the Uchiha.

"Well, I guess this proves I'm strong enough to beat you," Sasuke said casually before letting the man go from his attack.

"This isn't over yet! I will get you, Sasuke! Phantom!" Hazama exclaimed as a mysterious witch wearing a purple pointy hat and cloak appeared. "See you later!"

"I don't think so. Walk away without teleporting."

The ninja throws a kunai to the witch's head, knocking her down. Seeing his chance of escape ruined, the sinister man ended up having to run away on his own. Hakumen is about to go in pursuit until...

"Not so fast, Hakumen!" Madara appeared in front of him with the Imperator standing beside him through a portal.

"It's over, Madara! Now that you're back to the land of the living, I can kill you easily!" the armored man readies his sword to him.

"Heh. Wouldn't you to see that?" the legendary ninja smirked. "Besides, you only unleashed about 20-40% of your power so killing you here right now won't be much at all."

"You bastard!"

"Anyway, I'll be seeing you all very soon when I unleash my plan into motion."

Madara then walks to the portal, and the Imperator is about to do the same until...

"Stop right there," Sasuke demanded and she follows it. "I know you're not really Saya. Who are you, really?"

"Who am I? My name is Izanami. You got a problem with that?"

"Nothing..."

With the question answered, she heads to the portal as well.

"Now, for Phantom..." Sasuke walks over to the unconscious witch and opens her cloak, revealing it's a pink-haired woman. His team gasped in surprise, but he is not surprised like them. "I'm guessing that's Nine."

"What the hell?" Ragna added.

"But she's dead, so how is she still alive and why is she helping Hazama of his evil plans?" Tsubaki asked.

"To answer your two questions, Tsubaki. One, Terumi has uses for her so he brainwashed her, and two, she is not really capable of doing stuff like this," Hakumen corrected as he carried the woman's body. "I'll be taking her to Jubei and see if he can free her from the brainwash."

"Yeah, you do that. Oh, and Celica..." Sasuke called on the girl. "If I know that's Izanami, it's obvious she is possessing Saya, so I want to cook up an exorcism spell."

"Got it!" the auburn-haired woman agreed as a portal appeared.

It's obvious Hakumen is not going with them as the rest of the group went back to the headquarters without him.
