Her P.O.V.
It was the first day of the tournament. We ran in to the White Tigerz and the All Stars in the lobby of the stadium. The All Stars were the first team to be taking on the Demolition Boys. We waved them off as we went and found our seats to watch their match. As the American team entered the stadium, no one cheered. It was eerily quite. Tyson and the rest of us cheered for their team. Once the first member of the Russian team stepped out, the stadium grew loud with cheers.
Steve from the All Stars was first to go up against Ian. That match happened finished super quick. We were all stunned at how fast it was over. Next was Steve and he was against Tala. Tala was expressionless and looked cold, but if I didn't know him, I'd be afraid to face him. This match was over just as quick. I heard the guys all gasp, feeling the levels of hope lower. I never knew Tala was that good, but it has been twelve years since I've seen him.
I felt my my body shiver as the next member of the Russian team walked out. He had that two toned blue hair that I remember. He had blue triangles painted on his face and those deep crimson red eyes. I felt as if my breath had caught in my lungs upon seeing him and let it our when they announced his name, Kai. He seemed cold, yet smug. He was glaring down is opponent, Micheal. Kai then surprised everyone by challenging the whole All Stars team, which of course they took. This was their only chance to win and stay in the competition.
Emily,Steve and Eddie all launched their blades as Kai launched a black blade. I tensed, that wasn't Dranzer. Why wasn't he using Dranzer? Kai picked off the blades one by on, until he was the only one spinning. Micheal then launched his blade and went straight to attacking Kai. Kai's blade dodged and finished Micheal's blade as well.
Once the match was over, Kai called Black Dranzer back to him and held it up. There was bright lights coming from the All Stars' blades. We all gasped as Kai removed the teams bit beasts and his blade absorbed them instead. He laughed, which caused chills to run through my body. He was so cruel to the other team. "You're all unworthy of your bit beasts, so they are mine now." He left the stadium, leaving the American team devastated. Tyson and the others were angry. We all couldn't believe what had just happened.
His P.O.V.
Destroying the All Stars was such an incredible rush of power! my whole body seems to be buzzing with look on the team's face as I took their bit beasts away from them was priceless. I can't control my laughter from the feeling of strength and power in my veins.
Who knew that this blade would be perfect for me. Why wasn't I given it soon! Once in the locker room, Ian told me how awesome I was and Tala just glared at me. Tala was definitely jealous of my power.
Boris came in a few minutes later and told me to let the other handle the White Tigerz and that I should rest. Tala snapped at Boris, but Boris told him it was an order and Tala backed down. It was my turn to snap. "I'm not tired. In fact, my blade is still hungry for more bit beasts. Why don't you send the other back to the abbey. I can handle the team all on my own. Boris seemed to smirk at me as the other team members glared and watched me leave the locker room, on to my next match.
Her P.O.V.
We waited for the White Tigerz match to start against the Demolition Boys. This time it was only Kai that was sent out. This wasn't good. Why weren't the stopping the matches? Stealing bit beasts can't be legal. The first up against Kai was Garry, the Mariah and last it was Lee. The whole match seemed to be over in under five minutes. Kai ripped their blades to shreds, only leaving their bit chip intact. He stole Garry's, Mariah's and Lee's bit beasts.
This wasn't right. This had to stop, but who was able to defeat Kai now? We'd be against eight bit beasts now, instead of one. We are all quietly thinking, back at the hotel. Until Tyson comes to the conclusion that was should break into the abbey and find Kai. I tense up and hold my blade tight in my hand. "I'm going to." The guys looked at me shocked, they were going to have Hilary and I stay at the hotel. Which would be the smart thing to do. Kenny volunteered to stay with Hilary at the Hotel. The three guys and I, grabbed our blades and jackets and ran off.
At the Abbey, Tyson, Rae and Max argued with a guard to let us in, but he wouldn't. So we ended up sneaking to a different door and Tyson used his blade so we could break in. Tyson set of the alarm and we wasted no time in running inside.
We ended up getting separated and I used my instincts to run through the halls. Hoping that I don't run into Brian or Boris. I find a open door and see Tyson talking to Boris, I take this chance to run down the hall. I think there is a training room down here some where.
I find a room with a big red dish and see Kai launching his blade in to it. He looks almost psychotic looking at his spinning blade. I step into the room and shut the door behind me, walking up to the dish. "Kai." He seemed to tense at my voice and glare at me. All hope of him remembering me was gone. Black Dranzer had complete control over Kai now. He was now a weapon for Boris. I stood my ground as he caught he blade and walked towards me, his face looked as hard as a rock.
His P.O.V.
My training was rudely interrupted by some girl calling my name. I called back my blade and look at her. Part of me feels like I know her, but I'm not bothered by it. I walk over to her, glaring. "What do you want?" She doesn't seem to be afraid of me and demands I return all the bit beast I stole. I laugh coldly at her. "They were not worthy to have bit beasts anyways." She seemed to glare at me and then at my black blade. With out looking at me, her voice softened. "That blade is controlling you." She looked at me with sad eyes. Why was she sad? And why did I care? "The Kai I knew, wouldn't let anyone or thing control or use him." She snapped. He soft voice changing to ice.
I look at Black Dranzer and smile. "If anything is being used, its Black Dranzer, not me." I look back at the girl. She doesn't seem sad any more, she seems livid. "How could you do this to Dranzer!" I felt shocked and then smirked. "I don't need Dranzer any more. Dranzer is inferior." I took Dranzer out of my pocket and tossed it at her. "But, you can have it. I have no use for a useless blade."
I turned to walk away and smirked back at her. "Better get out of here, before the guards find you." I laugh as I see her tense and leave her in the training room. I hope they do find her, teach her for snooping.
Her P.O.V.
Kai was right about one thing, I better get out of here before the guards or Boris find me. I head back down the way I came. Checking the halls to make sure no one was coming. I put Dranzer in my coat pocket and took off running down one of the hall ways. I ended up in a dead end and started to panic. I hurried and ran down a different hall and noticed that there were security cameras. How did I miss those before.
They could be watching and sending guards after me right now. I look around, which way do I go to get out of here. I decide to go straight, as I see Brian turn down towards me. I swear under my breath and get ready to fight. I put Snowy in her launcher and prepare to pull the rip cord. Brian seems to smirk at me and aims his blade towards me.
I see Tala come around the corner after Brian and seems kind of worried. I've got this. I can beat Brian again. This time I am stronger too. Brain releases his blade and I follow suit. As our blades clash, I look for a way out. Which is behind Brian. All I need to do is win.
I summon Snowy, making it feel freezing in the hall and Brian calls out for his bit beast. As I'm getting ready to finish Brain, I hear that bone chilling voice behind me. "Finish her, Brian." I tense up and try not to lose focus on the match. I feel Boris place a hand on my shoulder and his breath on my ear, making me feel sick. I look at Tala, who has wide eyes, I know he can't help me. Just like when we were younger, but I'm not a helpless kid anymore. "Get your hands off me." I grunt and order Snowy to attack Brain with her icy needle attack, defeating Brian.
I go to move away from Boris, but feel him grab my wrist hard. I flinch and try to pull away and collect my blade, but I can't get out. Boris snaps at some guards to lock me away and panic rises in me. I then heard him order Tala and Brain to tell my team that is waiting out side, that I sprained my ankle and that they are looking after me. "My team won't believe you!" I snapped. Boris just laughed, I know it doesn't matter if they believe them or not. I'm trapped here.
His P.O.V
What that girl said about Black Dranzer controlling me, is that true? I lie in my bed, on my back, looking at the blade in my hand. There is no way a blade can control its master. I hear Tala walk into our room and look over at him. He looks defeated. Once he notices me looking at him, he glares at me. "We were suppose to protect her!" I glared back at him. "I don't know what you're talking about." Tala shook his head. "You don't know, because you let that blade get in your head. That's why." Tala sat on his bed and placed his head in his hands. "Now Boris has her again, and there isn't anything I can do."
I felt my stomach clench. "Well, her own fault for snooping around here in the first place." Tala fixed his icy blue eyes on me, he looks as if he should punch me. I smirk, he could try. Still, something deep down inside of me seemed to be fighting with the other parts of me. Tala spoke with ice in his voice. "If anything happens, its on you Kai. And to think, she loved you once." With that Tala rolled on to his side and faced the wall.
I looked at the black blade once again and whispered. "Love is weak." I go back to thinking about other bit beasts that I could feed to Black Dranzer and decided to challenge the Bladebreakers to an isolated match. I could steal their bit beasts before the match and then the others can defeat them in the stadium.
I got out of bed to find someone to collect the Bladebreakers in the morning for our match. I talked to our helicopter pilot and headed back to my room, when I heard those screams that I use to dream about. I froze in my spot, knowing I should just ignore it and go back to my room, but I couldn't move.
