Raid chapter eleven
The next morning while the team was waiting for Evelynn, Coby and Nick to join them at the lobby of the hotel where they were staying where they all were stay in Dallas, Garcia fill the other in on what was going on after dipping in to Scott and Doc minds that morning. The team didn't take the news well when they were informed about the fact that the female body was positive identified as Caitlin Case.
Meanwhile in a room upstairs reserved for military pecks that come through the city Evelynn and Nick had informed Case of the facts of the case in hand to their surprise he handle the news of his sister better than the rest of the team. Case reaction was tipple for him, if he could not do anything about the circumstances he would dismissed it and refocus on what had to be done mostly on what he could control he was not emotional person like Oliver who lets his emotional control his life which offend got him into to more trouble than not.
On the island it had nearly got him and Shado killed when Ivo had him choice between the two ladies. Oliver had jump in front of the gun when the gun was pointed at Sara and then again when Ivo pointed the gun at Shado. When he try to take the gun of crazy doctor he had gone off the bullet had scrape Oliver before hit Shado on the left shoulder. In that moment Oliver had not cared if he had lived or dead he had believe that Slade had died in the submarine just moments before Ivo had caught up with them in the forest.
Case was not totally emotionless cold hearted person in the back of this mind he knew that he had to found these two little girls. They were the only blood family he had left. But he knew not to get his hopes up after finding his sister body finding the girls alive was slim.
When the three join the rest of the team down in the lobby of the hotel Evelynn could tell how worried the team was for Case more worried than they should be. Scott the comedian in the team always ready to ruffle the feathers for good laugh say "So are we going see a crazy commander that like to blow builds up while she still in them"
Evelynn glad at him before sarcastically remaking "who hair brain idea was to put 15 pounds of excessive explosives in the basement of the building?"
Scott said "you said to make sure that we take out underground tunnel system"
Case look at her as if to say "you did" before turning to Scott tell him to forces on the job in hand. He then asked Ranger Sydney what the plan of attack was for the four locations.
Sydney said "we got four locations to hit, two residences and two businesses. Apartment is in the city only block away from coffee shop. How the two businesses Jo's coffee shop and a financial company the two businesses are on the opposite-side of the city. There the secondo residences a house in the out suburb west to the city it back in to the state forest"
Cage said "each Location will have two cars for backup"
Sydney said "we going take all four locations at the same time, so we don't give the suspects a chance to tip each other off. Cage and I will take the financial office as we have UC and CI work with in."
William said "me and Kay will take the apartment and Officer Jaffa will be part of our back up as he lives in the area the locals will open up to him more than us"
Slade said "Good what about the other two locations"
Harper said "Peter and Mac will take coffee shop they both are telepathy, they can pinpoint the family and other gangbangs from the customers"
Evelynn nodded and then added "that leaves yourself and Ranger Matt to take the house, it our best chance to find the children. Garcia you got with them but remember they would be use the Omega child against the Alpha to insure her cooperation. We do not know what kind of gifts she holds and what she as access to so corrosion is called for when dealing with the children"
Oliver was the one to speak up on the other means that they could control the children he said "there is way to weaken alpha child when they are twins. Keeping a set of twin apart will course physical pain to both and weak the alpha somewhat and the children they both can be over powder by full grown wolf"
Scott asked "why did it ever worked on you grown up"
Sara said "oh it did his track record of one night stands are proof. It the only resin that Laurel didn't kick his ass she kept forgiven him" she smile at Olive, she still like to chop his ball about it.
Doc said "he meant Evelynn" Sara makes oh face.
Evelynn said "we use to meet up one weekend a month just hang out. For me as alpha that was enough to heal somewhat so I handle the pain till next time we meet up but for Oliver it was not enough" something her team didn't know about her. She looks down before looking back up at Doc and added "you remember after the building blow up, remember how long it took me to heal"
When he nodded she when on "when the gambit when down and Oliver was lost at sea I knew my speed to heal quickly was somewhat impaired. When I blow that build up I knew risk I knew what I need to do to minimize the self-damage and that what I did"
Doc yelled out of fear mostly "what and you don't think that as the team Doctor I needed to know about it"
Evelynn said "you got to understand Doc, I phases for the first time when I was ten and Thea was just some months old so I sent way to military school for her protection. I been live with the pain and weakness so long I got good at minimize the risk of self-damage and hind my pain over years it became normal part of my everyday life"
Oliver said "we can't let that happen to these kids"
Evelynn said "it took me a good three years with the training I had to overcome the pain and keep moving" she sigh and then added "Shado and Sara will go with Garcia to the house. I hoping that it will help with the kids to have female personal then male. Slade and Yao Fei Coffee shop they can act like tourists and Oliver you're with me at that the apartment. Ross air-support, you are our eyes in the sky. Nick and Scott financial company with your skills it shouldn't take you to long to go over everything. Case and Doc also at the apartment complex we could sue another pair of eyes plus I am sure that EMT could do with your help Doc"
Soon we were armed and ready Evelynn turn to case who give a military pray "for these of us been down rang these of us going down rang. God keep us safe may you guide us home again"
"Amen" the team says together before we separate in our four groups that was how Oliver found himself sited in the back of the SUV with his sister beside him.
The twin were up to their old tricks have conversation in there head Case and Doc could tell that with each facial expressions that Evelynn was making. Case had gone really good at reading Evelynn faces over the years. He could tell it was a personal conversation between brother and sister. Whatever it was about he could tell that Oliver didn't like what he was told. From the frown on his face she could tell did had to do with home and none existing relationship between their sister Thea and herself.
She voiced "we will talk about this later but I right now I need your head in the game" as the car pull in to stop.
Reading the minds of the passing byers Evelynn gaged at what she read in one man mind that was coming out of the building where the apparent was located. The picture that was formed make her gag she could see as clear as day that fear from the young teen that was kneeling on the middle of the bed nude with his hands restraint above his head from chain that was fix to the ceiling. Two men in the room with the boy this man in his mid-forty she could see that he was sitting behind the boy and the second man late thirty sitting in front of the boy who could not be more than fifteen year of age. She gag at the men actions toward the boy shake herself free she hissed under breath "sick busters"
"Let go there under age children that been forced work" Evelynn said
Harper said "let shut them down"
Soon the police and rangers had round up all the workers and kids only little girl age three was missing. Evelynn over hear a witness tell an officer that she saw a man rundown the stairways with little girl in his arms. The stairway leads to the underground car park. Two Ranger long with Oliver and Evelynn take after the man when the ran in to the car park a dark ford two door Fiesta hatchback almost run us over on its way out of parking area. The four of us take out the back tires make the car come to stop the two rangers moving in on the driver on each side of the car.
At the end of the raid the four teams came together at Ranger HQ. One on one session with Evelynn and TL Garcia the suspects couldn't hide anything from them. They hand the case with red ribbon tie around with all the advents that the ranger in both case to get conviction finely Commander Case could find some peace on 20 old cases and he found new family along the way. But the kids want to stay with the Admiral and Case was alright with that outcome.
Oliver was finely going home to full fill his promise to his father and he was not along he would have his sister team helping if the need rise while his pack was tie everything up that happen on the hellish island.
