Things heat up in this chapter. I really didn't want to make my story stretch out an inevitable romance. I don't know if I'm rushing it, but I'll let you guys decide. I guess drawing it out adds tension and suspense for the next possible romantic encounter, but I didn't want to do that. I want to get it out there and move into more adventures. Real adventures. I want to explore how a romantic coupling could also impact these people during dangerous situations, but not every time.

Anyway, I'm very nervous about this chapter. I sat and looked at it for 2 days after I was half finished. No inspiration that whole time. I had to skip ahead two chapters and write what I had in my head to clear it. Even after that the words had a hard time flowing. I just don't think I'm that great writing romantic or intimate scenes. Like I said you decide.

This is my longest chapter yet.

Sassystar696- I wanted him to develop feelings for her before he saw that she was good looking physically too. She is recovering so it's time I think he notices. I also think the knowledge that she finds him attractive opens the door for him to see her in a similar light.

I decided that I wanted to portray Law how I think he is as a Captain. It's said he's cruel, but I think that is not the case at all with his crew. I think he has a strong fondness for them (some maybe more than others i.e. Penguin, Bepo, Shachi). While he may disregard proper protocol or ethical procedures with anyone else, his crew is the exception. I don't think he would want to cause them more pain or humiliation (minus teasing) than is necessary. If I wanted to write about a Captain who didn't treat their subordinates right, I'd write about Crocodile. I've considered it too lol. I like Crocodile.

Though I made Sarah mis-interpret what he said. He didn't mean they couldn't be more he just couldn't be her doctor. At least for now.

Sarge1130- Welcome back! I agree I was torn about having Law make that decision. But, logically if Law is a good doctor he would realize that those kinds of distractions while treating her could cause him to miss something important. Since she's someone he brought on as a crew member it's his responsibility to make sure she gets the proper care, like any of his men would, and being distracted could negatively impact that. It most definitely doesn't mean that there can't be a romantic relationship. I did after all categorize this as a romance/adventure. I just wanted to put that out there incase I am not properly conveying that in my story.

Please let me know what you thought about this chapter. Like I said I am pretty nervous about it since I struggled writing it so much.

Land Ahoy!

Sarah had gone to her room after her argument with Law to be left alone. She laid in her bed feeling alone for the first time since she had entered the submarine. Since she had first met the Captain and his crew Sarah hadn't felt lonely. Even when she was by herself in her room she had felt that there was still always someone there.

She had felt this way most of her life back in her old world, except when she was with her brother, but as soon as she left his presence she felt lonely again. She never thought much of it and figured that was how most people felt. Now that she finally experienced the joys of comradery and friendship to such an extent her loneliness felt darker than it had in the past.

After an hour of contemplation and self-pity she decided to pull herself together. There was a birthday party for the 3rd cook of the ship Kenji. It was supposed to start around 8. That way the cooks had time to clean up after dinner and everyone else would have an opportunity to clean up from the day. She suspected that the party had already started even though there was an hour to go.

Sarah went up top to the deck. The air was warm, and the sky was beautiful. The sun was setting, and it gave off beautiful colors of amber with a few dark shades of pink. The sunset was reflected off the calm waters of the ocean in the distance. She stood there enjoying this small pleasure.

There were a few men up top drinking and laughing. Like she suspected they had started the party early on their own. She saw Sam setting up a table, so she walked over to him. She had helped him make Kenji's cake earlier in the day while the young cook was enjoying his off time in between shifts.

While they were making it, Gus had been prepping some meat to marinade for that night's dinner. He kept getting on to Sam the whole time that he wasn't doing it right, but Sam did an amazing job. Sarah wasn't nearly as skilled as he was when it came to decorating but Gus never said anything to her, he just kept telling Sam that he wasn't doing it right. She suspected Gus had a soft spot for her, because looking at the cake Sam was laying out on the table she could tell where her handy work was. It was a yellow cake with a chocolate ganache filling and white butter cream frosting on the outside. Sam had delicately laid blue ribbons of frosting around the edges.

Beforehand Gus had made some decorations out of fondant, Sarah had helped place them, and accidentally scarred the frosting with her fingers a few times. There were fondant swords, one she had warped a little when she had picked it up too quickly, and of course in one of the corners a large heart pirate jolly roger made of fondant.

She looked around and noticed that the cake was the only thing that indicated that this was birthday party.

When she got up to Sam she said "So, do you guys put candles on the cake and sing him a song? I'm not familiar with how birthday typically work here."

"Oh, yea we do! How do birthdays go where you come from?" He asked seeming interested.

"Hmm well about the same, but there's usually more decorations. But then again, I've never been to a pirate's birthday before. How old is Kenji now? I feel like I hardly know him even though I see him all the time."

"Yea he's a quiet one, but he is a blast at parties. He was the one that taught you how to dance at your welcome party. Not that you remember." He said teasingly before he moved on, "Let's see, I think the kid is turning 18 today. Speaking of birthday parties, when is your birthday?" He asked

"Oh, it's still about 6 months away. October 9th to be exact." She replied absentmindedly thinking about how young the birthday boy was. "Wow Kenji is only 18? He's so young. Now that I think about it I wonder how many candles would go on my cake 21 or 32?"

"I don't know that's a good question. I keep forgetting that you're technically older. I guess it would have as many candles as you wanted." He told her then he smiled big and added. "But I hate to break it to you Sarah, but your birthday is only two weeks away. Ha! Looks like we have another party to plan here real soon."

"What? No way. It's the middle of April!" She told him uncertainly.

"No, it's not. Well, maybe it is where you're from, but it's the end of September here. I'm glad we had this talk when we did. You'll have to tell me what kind of cake you like so we can get the supplies at the next island. We're almost there the climate has become more consistent, so we should be there soon."

She looked down, her face furrowed in thought. "Hmm. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, weirder things have happened to me than moving forward a few months, or backward, I don't know anymore." Done confusing herself further she looked back up at him and informed him. "I like yellow cake with chocolate frosting, but I'm not too picky I'll eat almost any kind. So, do you need any help?"

He did so she went about helping him set up. By the time they were done almost everyone had gone up to the deck. The party got louder, and everyone was having a good time. Sarah drank and hung out with most of the crew. Three guys had started a drinking contest, and Sarah was the judge. She egged them on and called one of them out when he spilled more than he drank. By the time they were done she had declared the winner.

The night continued in a similar fashion. People being loud and then louder trying to talk over each other. At some point Sarah saw that Law had made his way to the party. He was sitting on a crate that had been brought up, talking with Bepo and their navigator Anthony. She watched him for a while feeling alone again, even though she was surrounded by friends. The sounds around her starting to blend together as she watched the Captain that she had been developing feelings for. Then she heard Penguin practically shout. "Hey earth to Sarah! Are you okay!?"

After he said that she saw Law look over at her alerted by the loud mechanic. He caught her eyes for a moment, and she quickly averted them away. She turned to Penguin who looked concerned. She forced a smile and said, "I'm fine Penguin."

He didn't seem to buy it, and he shoved another drink in her hand. She took it and gave him a serious look. "I'm not getting drunk enough to start embarrassing myself again. So, don't get any ideas that you can just get me drunk to learn more humiliating information that you guys would use against me later."

He smiled amused and said, "Looks like you figured me out, but honestly you just looked like you needed a distraction."

He indicated in the direction of the Captain. They peered his way and saw that he was still talking to Bepo and Anthony, but he was looking in their direction. When he saw them look at him it was his turn to shift his gaze and he took a drink from the bottle in his hand.

Penguin leaned into her and whispered, "I bet you could make him jealous if you give me a kiss right here."

She looked at him as he smiled largely. She started to laugh, and he soon joined her. She was really thankful to him in that moment. He had helped her enjoy herself and get back to the party, as they continued joking around.

As the night wore on it came time for the cake. They lit the candles and sang a song she had never heard before. It definitely sounded like a song a pirate crew would sing. She didn't know the words, so she clapped along.

Sarah was only a little drunk by the time the party was over, so this time she was able to put herself to bed. She laid down and thought about the good time she had with the crew and pushed her other thoughts and feelings aside as she drifted off.

Law had left the party early. He had only gone up because it was a celebration for one of his men. He had left feeling irritated and conflicted. His talk with Sarah in his quarters didn't go how he had planned.

While he was there he had heard Penguin and had looked over to see Sarah starring at him. Her green eyes looked sad. It had hit him in the pit of his stomach, but she had quickly turned away. The next thing he knew both her and Penguin were looking at him. His male subordinates knowing expression hadn't been missed, and it made him wonder what Sarah had been telling him. But what really had bothered him was when Penguin had whispered something in her ear. She hadn't looked sad anymore, and she was genuinely laughing. He felt a little jealous that Penguin could make her laugh like that and smile, when all he had done that day had upset her.

He had tried to slip away after the cake had been cut, but he had practically been blocked by not only Penguin, but Shachi too. Giving him that same look that he had received from the former earlier. He had asked them what they wanted, to which they hinted of his interest in Sarah. He thought about their conversation a little more.

"You don't know what you're talking about." He growled at the two men as he tried to side step them to go inside.

But they stepped in front of him a little, Shachi saying, "Come on Captain we know something's going on between you two. Why did you have to make her look so sad?"

He looked at Penguin and asked, "What did she tell you to make you think I had anything to do with that?"

"Nothing Captain, but it doesn't take a genius to figure it out. That look she was giving you earlier said everything. If I can figure it out she's gotta be pretty upset over something." He answered.

Law feeling irritated over the personal questions and accusations accusingly said, "Really? Then what were you whispering about?"

Penguin slyly smiled and responded. "I just suggested that we make you jealous. Just a harmless kiss, but she didn't take me up on my offer."

Law felt his irritation grow. He had had about enough. Penguin was being unusually bold. "That's ridiculous. I'm going to my room. Stay out of other people's business or you're getting extra duty again."

He brushed past the men who didn't try to block him this time and heard them cheerily say "Aye aye Captain!"

As he thought about it again he couldn't figure out why he hadn't just punished the two. Normally he would have, but this was Penguin and Shachi. They had never talked so bluntly to him before, and he couldn't figure out why they were trying to play matchmaker with him and Sarah.

The talk with her earlier seemed to have gotten out of hand. He had basically told her that he was attracted to her, and she seemed more upset about being attended to by another medic. Was she okay with the fact that he had let his eyes linger over her half naked body earlier?

He didn't know what she wanted. He knew she was attracted to him, but that didn't mean anything. After all he had been attracted to plenty of women in the past, but hadn't acted on it, because they had nothing else going for them besides a well-built body or pretty face.

The last part of their conversation ended even worse. She seemed to interpret that he didn't want to act on his attraction towards her. That couldn't have been farther from the truth. As a Captain he was free to act on whatever impulses he had. If he wanted her he had no problems acting on it if she wanted him too, but as a doctor he couldn't see a patient if he couldn't focus enough to properly treat them. Now that he thought about his wording he realized that he hadn't conveyed that properly. He didn't know how to fix it, and even if he did, he didn't know how to approach her about it.

He started to wonder if he was reading into it more than needed to be. She may just be upset about having to see Tanka, and he was just letting his ego think she wanted something else.

The next morning Sarah heard a loud banging on her door. Before she could get up to open it she heard someone yell from the other side. "Sarah get up. We just spotted the next island!"

She wasn't sure who it had been, but excited she shot out of bed and turned on her light. It was bright, and it made her squint her eyes, but she worked through it to grab some clothes. She grabbed a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. She figured this island would be warmer than the last one since the climate had stabilized last night and even in the evening it had stayed warm. She got dressed and quickly ran out to go up on the deck.

It was bright and sunny. The sun had already risen above the horizon. There was a light breeze that felt great on her pale skin. She looked out and saw a small bit of land ahead. She talked with a few of the guys who were up top, and they told her it could probably take a couple hours till they reach the far away patch of land.

Excited to get off the ship she decided to clean up and then get to the kitchen to help. She knew that keeping occupied would help pass the time. After she was showered and dressed she went to the kitchen.

The other cooks had gotten there just minutes before her, except for Gus who had probably been there long before them. He was always there early to plan and prepare for the next meal. She wondered if he ever left the kitchen. She wouldn't have been surprised to learn he had a cot stashed in the walk-in and that was where he slept.

Even though their day had just gotten started Sam had already riled up the old chef. He just smiled and kept working while Gus hollered and shouted at him.

She had asked Sam once why he antagonized the old man so much. He had told her that his grandpa was the one who raised him. He would get onto Sam like Gus did. For years he thought his grandpa was just a grouchy old man, but after he passed he had found letters addressed to him from his Grandpa. They had told him how proud he was of him regardless of the choices he made in life, and that he was hard on him because he cared. When he had joined the heart pirates a year later the old man reminded him a lot of his Grandpa. He enjoyed the old man's rantings at him and he knew that it was only because he cared. Sarah thought it was sweet, but still thought it was weird that he would do things intentionally to frustrate Gus.

They got through breakfast, and everyone had eaten. Once they had finished the dishes there was still no announcement that they had made it yet. Sarah decided to go work on laundry, but before she was half way there the same announcement from last time rang through the sub. Practically skipping she made her way up to the deck to get in line to receive orders. She saw her Captain walk up in front of everyone, and she felt butterflies fluttering in her stomach again. He quickly assigned people a job for the day to get supplies, but Sarah didn't have any task assigned to her. She noticed while he was talking Bepo handed her something. She looked around and almost everyone else had an envelope like hers too. She opened it up and inside was money. She guessed this was a stipend that they got when they made landfall. She stopped Bepo before he moved away and asked him. He confirmed that it was to use however she wanted, but that when it was gone it was gone.

The Captain had dismissed everyone. As the men were shuffling away Sarah was looking at the money trying to figure out how she would spend it. Then a whisper came from behind her ear startling her. "This is the perfect time for that kiss."

Sarah spun around and saw Penguin's face dangerously close. Before she knew it, she had slammed her hand into his nose. Luckily, she was so rattled that her aim wasn't very good, and it didn't feel like she had broken it, but it still began to bleed.

"Oh my god Penguin I'm so sorry! You scared me. I didn't mean to. What the hell were you doing!?" She panickily rambled.

"Ow." He whined. "I was just messing with you! I didn't know you'd break my nose over a joke."

Shachi and a few other men who were nearby snickered at the man holding his swelling nose.

Sarah saw Law walk up to them with a satisfied smile on his face. He told Penguin, "I don't think it's broken. Now the question is should I punish Sarah for this?" He placed his hand under his chin and tapped his fingers on his lips feigning contemplation. "No. I think you deserve this. You've been a little too ballsy lately, so I think this will serve as a good lesson. Wesley is in the infirmary go get yourself checked out."

Sarah blinked in confusion. She wasn't sure what was going on, but she didn't think she would escape without some sort of punishment, and she didn't understand what Law had meant about Penguin being ballsy. He was acting the same as he always had since she met him. She also noticed how Law had looked at Shachi after talking to Penguin and how Shachi had straightened up and nodded at the Captain. It was a weird situation.

After Law left she helped Penguin to the infirmary with Shachi. She left him there and went to go explore the new island. She planned on buying a couple dresses and maybe some different shoes. She just had boots from the first island and she would like a pair of sneakers and sandals. She also wanted to see if she had enough for some clothes that would be more comfortable to practice hand to hand combat.

She walked through the small town. It was bright and full of life. The locals all wore bright casual clothing. It kind of reminded her of the clothes you'd see vacationers wear in Hawai'i. They all seemed to have tan complexions, and everyone appeared to be cheerful. Everything put her at peace. She hoped they could stay for a while.

She found a clothing store that had a wide variety of apparel. She was pleased to see that she would be able to afford everything she wanted and still have a little left over after lunch. She picked out two dresses. One was white with a large red floral print. It was a spaghetti strap and hugged her chest. Past her breasts it hung loosely down to just above her knees. The other was green almost the same color as her eyes. This one was a little loose on her, but she knew soon it you be form fitted. It reminded her of a tight cocktail dress back in her world. It went just below her knee and had a slit on the left side to her upper thigh. Normally she wouldn't have gotten that kind of dress, but it was comfortable, the fabric was light, and she really liked the way it looked with her eyes. She was also able to find a couple leggings and tanks tops for her lessons. The last thing she looked at where shoes. She found a cute pair of simple flip flops that had white straps, a grey pair of sneakers, and to accompany her new green dress she bought a pair of golden colored flats.

After she made her purchase she had gotten the sales lady to agree to let her change before she left. It was such a warm island that she didn't want to wait. She put on the white and red floral dress, and her new flip flops. She took her hair out of its ponytail and let it fall around her shoulders. She placed the clothes she was wearing a moment ago into her shopping bag and decided to take a stroll before lunch.

As she walked through more of the town she saw a little book shop and decided to see if they had anything interesting. She was almost running out of things to read, and if they were stuck on the sub for two weeks again she was sure she'd go crazy. Before she got to the door she spotted Law and Bepo inside. Not wanting to bump into her Captain she ducked down and ran passed the windows in a crouch. She was sure she looked ridiculous.

She decided she could go back later and headed down the street a little further. She stopped and talked with a few of the locals asking where a good place was for lunch and she learned the islands name was Hau'oli La Island. One man suggested a place that sounded perfect. She thanked him, and then decided to ask if there was a good place to sit down and look at the scenery. He told her of a place not far that looked out over the ocean, and that many people would see dolphins there. He had offered to take her, but she declined. She thanked the man and set off to go to the spot he suggested on her own.

When she got there, she was blown away. The man had definitely under sold it. She was on top of a small cliff that sat slightly over the ocean. The surrounding area was full of tropical flora and fauna. There were so many pretty flowers and beautiful birds. She sat at the edge of the cliff and looked at the ocean. The sound of the waves and birds chirping relaxing her. After about 5 minutes she saw something jump out of the water. She leaned forward and saw a couple more leap out of the waters surface and then dive back down. They were the dolphins the man told her about. She sat there watching them play while enjoying the breeze run past her. If there was heaven on earth she was certain this was it.

He had been in the book store selecting a few new books he was interested in. Mainly books about new medical practices, and some older ones that were specific to this island. Each island seemed to have their own techniques. Some were absurd, but every now and then he would find something that was absolutely genius. He had put the last book he was interested in on the counter when movement caught his eye. He looked over and saw a woman dart down out of view. He walked over to the window and looked out to see it was Sarah. She was crouched down and sneaking away from the store in a hurry.

Law was highly amused at the sight he was looking at. He decided to follow her out of curiosity. He stayed a little way back from her as she straightened up and continued down the street. He noticed that some of the men seemed to watch her as she walked passed. He didn't like how some of them looked at her once her back was to them. They seemed to leave her alone though, so he tried to ignore it. He saw her turn and stop in front of a couple people sitting on a bench. She was talking to them about something. He looked at her in her new dress. The top showed off her perky breasts nicely. He noticed she wasn't wearing a bra since he couldn't see any straps from one and her chest moved a little more freely than usual. The lower portion of her dress hung loose around her body, but when she moved he would catch small glimpses of her body's curves.

A man she was talking to seemed a little too friendly. He saw the man offer his arm to her. His stomach dropped, and he felt anger welling up. But, she put her hands in front of her indicating that she wasn't interested. She moved on and the man watched her as she walked away. Law followed after her, but he didn't miss the chance to glare at the man as he passed him. The man's face paled a little and he seemed to take the hint.

Just outside the edge of town, he watched her walk to a cliff and sit down. She seemed so peaceful. She sat there for a while. Law watched as the wind blew her dark brown hair back from time to time. Her pale arms propping her up from behind with her palms on the ground. She was really beautiful in that moment. A part of him wanted to come up to her right then and just sit next to her. He hesitated afraid he would break the spell of tranquility. Then he watched her sit up and lean forward. Her face lit up, and he decided now was the time.

He came up from behind her. If she noticed, she didn't give any physical indication that she did, but before he came closer she said. "You know that could be considered stalking."

He smiled and came up to sit in the edge of the cliff next to her. "I was just making sure that creep back there didn't bother you." He halfheartedly joked.

She was still looking out ahead at the dolphins leaping into the sky. "Mmmm I'm pretty sure I could have handled that if I needed to, but he didn't seem like a creep to me."

"I'm sure you could have." He agreed looking out at what she was watching.

They just sat there for a while watching the dolphins and enjoying the breeze. Eventually Sarah broke the silence and turned to him. "Why did you really follow me Law?"

He looked back at her, but he didn't respond. Trying to choose his words carefully.

Her face became troubled as she looked into his grey eyes. "You made it clear yesterday that you couldn't see me that way, but today you're following me trying to chase off men. I'm sure you don't chase women away from the guys. This just makes things confusing."

Realizing he was right that she misunderstood him he decided to clarify it for her. "That's not what I meant when I said I couldn't do you exams anymore."

"Well then clear it up for me. I don't plan on leaving your crew just because you don't want me the way I want you. I didn't join for that purpose to begin with, but it would be good to see where I stand, so I can figure out what to do with myself."

Law thought to himself for a bit. It would be good to clear it up, but he was more focused on her admission just now. He now knew it wasn't his ego after all, but he decided to confirm it. He asked, "Do you want something more from our current relationship?"

"I think so. I don't know." She started to get flustered and her face was turning red. "I'm not used to feeling like this. I feel like I'm not in control of my thoughts and it's…"

Before she could finish her sentence, Law moved in and pressed his lips on hers. She didn't pull away from him. He gently played on her lips with his. She raised her hand up and held it to his cheek as she returned the kiss. It felt so soft and her lips were sweet. He grabbed her waist with one of his arms and pulled her closer to him. The kiss deepened when she moved her hand from his cheek to the back of his head to pull him in. He nibbled on her lip and she opened her mouth enough to let him enter. He slid his tongue in and ran it across hers. He started to pull away from her and she bit at his lip, causing him to feel heat running down his stomach toward his groin.

Still holding her waist, he used his other arm to grab her upper back and he laid her onto the ground pressing his chest to hers. His lust growing, he moved down from her lips and kissed her neck tracing his tongue along it, tasting her, as he moved further down. He stopped down toward the bottom of her neck and bit gently, causing her to moan softly. He felt satisfaction at the noise she had just made, but he wanted to hear more. He wanted her to be louder. He moved back up her neck and worked his way to her ear. He whispered softly making his breath and voice tingle her ear, "I want you." He felt her body shiver underneath his.

He nibbled on her neck just below her ear, and his hand on her waist started to linger up. As he got to her breast he ran his palm over it gently as first. Then he moved his mouth back to her lips that were begging him to kiss them again. He pressed his lips against hers as he started to firmly massage her breast. He licked her bottom lip trying to gain entrance. She opened her mouth again and he slid his tongue in. She was holding him tightly against her with both arms. The hand at the back of his head had grabbed a fist full of hair. He enjoyed the sensation and her eagerness excited him. As he kissed her he let his hand leave her breast to work its way down. He let his fingers glide down her body over the thin fabric. As he went lower she moaned again, muffled by their kiss.

His hand had made its way down to her thigh. He grabbed her inner thigh firmly and this caused her to pull away from their kiss to gasp out. He felt her body tighten and her hips raise. He bit her lip to pull her back into a kiss. He massaged her thigh slowly working his way up causing her hips to buck expectantly. He started to slip his fingers under the hem of her dress to slide his hand up the rest of her thigh when he stopped. He pulled away from their kiss. He sighed, and he let his head drop down in disappointment.

Sarah was confused. Panting from the moment they had just shared, and she asked him, "What's wrong?"

He looked up but not at her. He looked to the trees behind them. "How long have you been there?" He asked irritated that they had been interrupted.

Sarah didn't look back to see who it was. Law could see that she was mortified. It was a shame he thought. Just a minute ago her face was full of desire.

"Ummm, sorry Captain. Not long we just got here." It was Shachi

He saw the mechanic pop out from behind a tree. Right behind him was Penguin. Law noted Penguin didn't look very sorry. His face was serious as he shouted, "That better be Sarah!"

The woman underneath him groaned and covered her face. "Oh my god he's such an idiot!"

Penguin ignoring the insult perked up and said, "Oh good it is Sarah!"

Law pushed up and moved off her. She sat up and turned to the two men behind her. With sarcasm dripping from her voice she said. "Thanks Penguin I'm glad you're so concerned about my love life."

She looked back at Law and smiled softly, "I'll see you back at the sub I guess."

She grabbed her things, and he watched her walk away.

The other two men came up and sat down next to the Captain. He hadn't paid any attention, but now he could get a good look at Penguin. He had blood crusted cotton swabs in his nostrils and his nose was a little swollen. He wasn't as mad at the two for the night before, but he still grinned when he saw the condition of his friends' nose.

As they sat there he told them, "You guys have bad timing. You somehow accidentally managed to butt into our business again."

"Yea I could see how that would be annoying, but you should take her out first." Shachi retorted.

"Did you guys disturb us on purpose?! What? Do you two think you're her big brothers and she needs protecting from me?" The Captain asked a little surprised. What was it about Sarah that made them so bold? He shook his head and said, "She's right, you're idiots."

Penguin got defensive, "It wasn't on purpose! We really did just show up, but it was a good thing we did. Shachi's right you should show Sarah a good time. She's not just some girl we pick up for a night or two at the next island."

Law couldn't figure out what had gotten into these guys, but they really were acting like big brothers. Maybe it was because she was the only woman on their crew that they felt they had to look out for her, but it was starting to get annoying.
