~Sully~
Robin sighed as she sat down with Sully after a good workout, they had been going at it since early in the morning. Sully drank from her canteen as she attempted to cool off from their long training session. Robin closed her eyes intent on just resting, maybe taking a quick nap. However before she could fully doze off she couldn't shake the feeling she was being watched.
"You feel that also?"
Robin nodded at Sully's question. "I'm hoping to ignore it."
"I don't think we can."
Robin sighed before looking around the area, seeing the yellow clad figure attempting to hide in the trees. Robin smiled a tiny bit before stretching again, Sully chuckling quietly next to her. Robin glanced at her before nodding her head towards the tree, Sully chuckling again.
"You can come out Lissa."
Lissa nervously stuck her head out. "You're not going to get mad that I was bothering you when you're training?"
"No, why worry about that?" Sully asked.
Robin glanced at her sister-in-law. "Go grab the others, we'll meet here today."
"Okay!" Lissa ran off excitedly.
Robin laughed along with Sully as the girl ran off. "Probably be you today."
Sully nodded. "Probably."
It wasn't long till the girls slowly began filing into the area, Lucina immediately sitting next to her mother. Once everyone was present and settled, Lissa excitedly told them the day's plan of speaking of Sully's daughter. Sully rolled her eyes but allowed the girl to get excited.
"So we start with Virion then?" Cherche asked.
Lissa nodded. "Yup!"
Robin thought about the pairing. Personality wise they clashed and didn't seem to match, yet the two had seemed to make it work. Overall the child could have Sully's tomboyish personality or could be very ladylike as fitting her status as Virion's child. Still it would be funny to see a girl with Virion's flirtatiousness yet be independent and tomboyish like Sully. There were many personalities and none of them seemed necessarily bad.
Battlefield wise the child would probably very good for Calvary, regardless if she took up the bow or spears. The only thing to worry about was if the child did use a bow or a spear, because that would determine how Robin could position them on the battlefield. Overall either one would be useful on the field, they had enough long range fighters already though, so she would prefer a short range attacker.
"Besides the clash of personality, I think the pairing is good." Sumia offered.
"Class of personalities?" Sully asked, not looking too pleased with the answer.
Maribelle sighed. "You're two very different people, but you have made your relationship work."
"Ah. Right." Sully nodded, her face still serious as she watched the other girls.
"Who should we do next?" Lissa asked excitedly.
"Frederick?" Olivia offered.
Maribelle sighed. "Why him?"
"Because they are similar in personality." Olivia continued.
Robin laughed. "Frederick it is then."
Robin looked Sully over, it was true she a Frederick were similar people, yet she was far more relaxed. She wasn't as strung up on protecting Chrom and Lissa, she would sacrifice her life for them, but she wasn't overbearing like Frederick. Still the two did get along quite nicely and would often get patrols together or assigned to each other if their normal partners were not participate in the next battle.
Overall a child of theirs would be very serious, they'd do their job right and be as strong as they could be. The downside was the child may pick up Sully's bad habits, such as not being able to cook. They could also pick up Fredericks overbearing nature, and I'm sure many of the people agreed that they'd rather the kid couldn't cook.
Battlefield wise the child would be pretty sound due to the fact that her parents were of similar classes. She'd probably adept at horseback riding, and be faster than many of the people. Strength wise it was an issue of which class she took and her own physical strength. Overall she would be a great frontline fighter, great defense or speed depending on class, and great strength also depending on class.
"They're too similar if you ask me." Maribelle huffed.
Lissa nodded. "Not much difference."
"Let's do Donnel!"
Sully sputtered. "Donnel?"
"Yeah physically fit wise you two are very different." Nowi stated.
Sully sighed. "Fine."
Robin chuckled before thinking of such a child. The kid would be able to link the commoners and higher ranking members. Probably be sympathetic to commoners as well, but if they acted like Sully they may draw a lot of attention to themselves even when trying to live a peaceful life. Overall the worst that could happen besides Sully's skills in cooking, is that the child could be weak like Donnel, and have to train harder then everyone to catch up.
Battlefield wise, the child could be great with the right training, which Sully would provide. They could also show the same inadequate battle skills Donnel presented when he joined the army, making them a liability. Battlefield wise they could have Sully's skills or Donnel's skills, and what they bring would be what was importance not their strength. Sadly Robin wasn't sure what could be contributed that Donnel didn't already contribute in battles.
"Maybe?" Lissa asked nervously.
"It could work personality wise, it's battle wise that is worrisome." Cherche pointed out.
"Let's move on then!" Olivia offered.
Sumia nodded. "Libra?"
Robin chuckled as she tried to imagine the pairing, Sully herself didn't look too pleased. Libra was very interesting and religious, also the opposite of Sully in many ways. Their child though could prove to have a great combination of personalities. She would be loyal, just like her parents, and strong. She could either be a horrible cook or be very judgmental of things, but those were really minor things if she was loyal enough.
Battlefield wise the child could inherit the strength of either parent. Would probably be faster if she inherited Sully's style due to horseback but having a healer that could fight would be a welcome relief. Who knows maybe Sully could still teach her how to ride then they'd have a fast moving, axe-throwing, healer out on the field.
Robin laughed at her thoughts. "They all seem good but I still think Virion and Sully mess better than the others."
Lissa nodded. "Yeah."
Nowi yawned. "I'm going to go find someone to play with!"
Robin and Sully laughed as they watched the others slowly scatter from the training area. Soon they were up and sparring again, Sully having the sudden urge to train someone. Robin laughed as they fought, happy to be Sully's student for the moment.
~End~
So sorry it's late, I have been so busy with projects it's not even funny. I had to finish a project last night because of a minor dental surgery I have next week when I was supposed to be presenting so I can present tomorrow. I hate college sometimes.
