Back to Lantis

"Hikaru! Hikaru! Hikaru where did you go?" Called Lantis as he roamed around the castle. It had been an hour and still not a sign of Hikaru anywhere, and he just about covered the whole castle. Lantis was starting to wonder if Hikaru had run to the outside of the castle. Worried and ready to scream in anger, Lantis kept walking on.

"Lantis there you are. Where have you been?" Came a small voice. Out of nowhere out popped the prissy little fairy Primera. Lantis starred down at her puffed out face, not quit registering her presence.

"Primera…Primera have you seen Hikaru anywhere?" Lantis asked thinking maybe Primera had seen Hikaru around.

"Who, do you mean that short girl? I though she was in her room. I haven't seen her. Why? And why do you care? She is just one-" Primera began as she stuck her nose up in the air. She didn't get the chance to finish her rant as Lantis interrupted her.

"Maybe Umi or Fuu will know. Thank you anyway Primera." Lantis called half way down the hall, leaving behind a very stunned Primera. Snapping out of it she called after Lantis.

"Hey Lantis wait up." She called as she started to fly after him. "Lantis! Lantis! Gyaa!" Primera screamed as in the middle of her rant Mokona hopped right on top of her. Then, using her as a spring board, he launched himself after Lantis. Primera got up onto her hands and one could see her hair was a complete mess.

"Why you stupid little puffball! Come back here!" Primera screamed as she flew after Lantis and Mokona.

Lantis and everybody

Everyone was now in the throne room crowding around Umi when they heard footsteps coming towards them. They looked up in time to see Lantis running into the room panting, and out of breath.

"Lantis whatcha' doin' here? I though you were watchin' over little Hikaru!" asked Caldina the first to speak up.

"I-" Lantis began as he really didn't want to tell them the truth that he had lost Hikaru. He knew it was his job to watch over her. 'I'm so dead! They'll kill me when I tell them she disappeared on my watch.'

"Lantis…. I saw Hikaru confessing to you…" Umi said with a sad look on her face.

"WHAT?" Everyone asked as Lantis knew he was sooo dead.

Umi-Flash-Back-1 hour ago

"Fuu said they were in Hikaru's room, Right?" Umi murmured to herself. Umi had just confessed to Clef, and after running she had bumped into Fuu. Now though she was going to Hikaru's room to check up on her, and yell at her a bit about keeping the weight of the world on her shoulders.

"Hikaru what you said…was it true? Because… if it is…"

"Lantis?" Umi whispered as she came close to Hikaru's room and heard a voice talking. 'Is he talking about what Hikaru said to him?' Umi thought as she then peeked her head in the door to see what was happening. She saw Hikaru grab her glove and put it on.

"Hikaru? What are you doing?" Lantis asked her, his face filled with confusion.

'Is she going to tell him?' Umi thought as she leaned in closer trying to hear what was being said. 'What did she say?'

"-Lantis…I…I…I Love You!" Hikaru said to him.

'What!' Umi thought as she sat there in complete shock. Shaking out of it she got up and made her way back to the throne room.

End of Flash-back

"I didn't hear anymore after that because I left." Umi said, as a frown still held its place on her perfect face. Lantis knew he had to tell every one about Hikaru's disappearance.

"Hikaru…She…fled." Lantis said as he prepared for his beating.

"WHAT!" Everyone shouted at him as he shrunk back in fear for what was coming. 'I'm dead.' Lantis thought as he prepared for his punishment. Caldina was the first up to bat. (Lol I had to put that)

"YOU LET 'ER RUNS OUT, A', HERE! YOU KNOW INOUVA'S AFTER 'ER! Poor lil' Hikaru. Inouva probly' already got to her!" Caldina said just making Lantis feel even guiltier then he already did. 'What if Inouva did get to Hikaru already?' Lantis thought as he hung his head in shame.

Clef then spoke up trying to calm everyone. "Calm down. Let's search the entire castle first. Then we can look for Inouva." Clef instructed of them.

"Fuu and Ferio, team one. Caldina and Presea, team two. Lafarga and Ascot, team three. Primera and Mokona, team four. Umi and me, team five. And Lantis can you go it alone?" Clef asked Lantis as he stood apart from the others, trying to keep his distance from Caldina.

"Yes, I can handle it alone. Now, let's go and try to find her." Lantis said, determination filling his voice as every one started on their way about the castle.

"Yeah!" Shouted the group that could be seen in the crystal.

"Hm Hm Hm Hm Hmm. I'm afraid you will not find her there. Am I not right…Lexes?" A voice called as a low growl and a laugh came from the shadows.

"Don't worry I'll be seeing you all, soon." A voice said as three evil laughs filled the dark empty space.
