"Okay, class we've got three new students here today, Jess, Beth and Samantha Hathaway is there anything you would like to say about yourselves?" the teacher asked making the three girls stand at the front of the class where they could feel every student staring at them and judging them. They had not missed the feeling of being constantly judged.

"Not really" Jess said being the more confident one and looking at the back of the classroom while the other two looked at the floor.

"Very well, take a seat" the teacher said gesturing to the rest of the class. The girls looked for three seats next to each other, there weren't any; Jess took a seat at the very back next to the window, sinking low in her seat, Samantha took the spare seat at the front by the door and took out some paper and pen acting as if she was going to do some work and Beth took a seat by the window in the middle avoiding everyone's gaze by staring out of the window.

The teacher droned on about sentence structure and essay plans, he then set the work of writing an essay about The Crucible which would be carried on as homework to be handed in the next day, the girls didn't bother starting the essay hoping that they wouldn't be there the next day and so they sat in their separate seats each of them randomly doodling on sheets of paper lost in thought.

….

Sam was walking down the corridor of the school with his janitorial trolley as Samantha, Beth and Jess walked out of English all feeling sleepy after the quiet lesson of doing nothing. Jess nudged Samantha when she saw Sam walking just up the hall.

"Hey Sam." Jess called out to him and the three pushed pass some of their classmates to catch up with him.

"How's class going?" Sam asked as the girls came to a stop when they reached him

"Boring," Beth said covering her mouth with her hand as she yawned loudly.

"There was a reason why I gave English up." Jess muttered mainly to herself causing Sam to smile slightly

"We haven't heard anything, what about you?" Samantha asked seriously ignoring Jess' comment.

"Nothing so far as I can tell." Sam said taking a deep breath and frowning. He was so sure that girl was telling the truth about being possessed. None of them said anything for a moment before a warning bell rang signalling class was about to start.

"Okay, well anyway, we gotta go to cooking" Samantha said quickly before dragging her two tired friends down the corridor.

Dean was taking a P.E class preparing them for a game of dodge ball when Sam opened the door to the gym. Sam motioned for Dean to come over and Dean nodded his head at Sam before taking his attention back to the class and picking up the bag of balls off the ground.

"Go nuts" he said as he chucked the bag into the air and walked over to Sam who met him part way.

"Having fun?" Sam asked looking Dean up and down and smirking at his appearance. Dean was wearing a tight white polo shirt with tight red shorts and a red sweat band around his head. His socks were white and knee high with red stripes and to top it off he was wearing white sneakers.

"The whistle makes me their god" Dean said holding on to the whistle around his neck and looking very proud of himself.

"Right, Nice Shorts" Sam said looking at Deans shorts and smirking. Dean adjusted his shorts, feeling slightly embarrassed by how tight they are.

"Find anything?" Dean asked quietly trying not to draw attention to the fact that he is talking to Sam, who was dressed like a creepy janitor. Dean never liked janitors but they're closets always came in handy.

"Been over the entire school twice, no sulphur" Sam said more focused on the violent game of dodge ball going on behind Dean.

"No sulphur, no demon. No demon, no case" Dean shrugged, not too fussed by it. He wasn't sure it was a case in the first place and this just confirmed it.

"I don't know maybe I was wrong" Sam said sighing obviously frustrated by the lack of evidence of an attack here. He wanted the girls to get a taste of what they do, so that they will be better prepared for when the bad stuff hits.

"Yeah well it happens to the best of us. I say we gather the girls up and hit the road huh? But after lunch its sloppy-joe day" Dean explained making himself both happy and hungry when mentioning sloppy-joe's. There was no way he was going to miss out on that.

"Yeah, I'll go tell the girls." Sam said rolling his eyes at Dean wanting to stay for lunch. He was so sure there was a case here and it frustrated him that he hadn't found anything. He sighed running a hand through his hair before walking off to the cooking class to find the girls.

….

Samantha walked into the cooking class with Beth and Jess following behind her yawning. She looked around for a teacher before walking to the front of the class.

"Um excuse me Miss, I'm Samantha and these are my sisters Beth and Jess Hathaway. We're new." Samantha said in a quiet voice. She hated being the one to speak first but the other two were too busy yawning.

"Of course, you three can go sit over there, I won't make you split into different groups today, we're making a pasta salad." the teacher said in a high pitched voice pointing to a spare table near the back of the classroom. The girls slowly walked to the back dropping their bags on the floor and taking a seat around the table.

"Okay class so today remember we're making pasta salad and don't forget to put the lid on your Cuisinart" the teacher stated in her high pitched voice. She then walked over to the group at the front of the class. The girls sat there staring at each other for several minutes not bothering to move just enjoying not having to think too hard.

"We actually going to cook?" Samantha asked sitting up straight lifting her arms off the desk.

"Can we be bothered?" Beth asked looking over at Samantha

"Probably not" Samantha replied shrugging

"Exactly" Beth said dropping her head to the table.

"Guys" Jess said nodding towards a table where a big looking jock and a lanky looking nerd were starting to argue. All three girls turned around to look at the scene going on before them. They thought it was just one of those usual moments on TV where the jock wanted to copy the nerds' homework until the nerd started talking back. Something wasn't right about this situation.

"I'm gonna shove my fist down your throat, you little freak." the girls heard the jock quietly yell at the nerd.

"That fist?" the nerd calmly asked nodding towards the jocks left hand that was sitting on the table.

"Yeah." the jock answered. Suddenly the nerd started grinning, not a happy grin but a devilish grin. The girls shared a look of confusion at the look on the boy's face before turning back to see the nerdy boy grab the jocks hand and shove it into the spinning Cuisinart. The jock started screaming as blood went everywhere and the rest of the class started running out of the room. At this point the girls noticed Sam in the doorway and yelled out to him. He walked through the scrambling students as the teacher grabbed the jock and ran him out of the room covering his hand with a tea towel. The girls ran over to Sam just as the nerdy kid collapsed on the floor. Sam ran over to the boy and knelt down as black goo started oozing from the kids ear.

"Is that…?" Beth started before trailing off looking at the black goo oozing out of the kids ear before looking at all the blood that covered the boy's hand. .

"Ectoplasm." Sam finished for them just as the nerdy kid came to.

"What happened?" the nerdy kid said looking up at Sam and the girls who were crowded around him. The girls shared a worried look before looking back down at the boy. This was going to be their first case; a spirit.
