I am SO sorry everyone. I got writers block, then lost all my files, I know its been a long time and most of you might not be into the story anymore but I'm going to finish it. I hope you all enjoy it. 3
Chapter 10
Walking in silence. Hinata looked over at Gaara and saw his stone face. She shook her head and kept walking knowing he wouldn't talk. When they finally reached the forest they decided to rest for the night. Temari and Shino set up their own tents and Gaara set up the tent for him and Hinata. Everyone was tired and after a quick dinner they said their goodnights.
Gaara climbed into the tent to see Hinata sitting there looking sad. Sighing he sat next to her, "Whats wrong Hinata?"
She looked up at him, "I…. I still feel bad for putting our chances of conceiving at risk by training."
Gaara touched her hair shocking her a bit, "I forgive you. You understand and I'm not going to keep putting it against you." He said, "Would you like to try tonight? While we are still in Suna lands?"
Hinata blushed like mad, "What about everyone else? They will hear us."
Gaara shrugged, "Like I care." He said before leaning in to nip at her neck.
Gasping Hinata covered her mouth with her hand to keep silent. Her face was red knowing her sister in law and her best friend were in their tents and would most likely hear them.
When morning came the four set off for Kohona. It was hours before they got to the gates to find Sakura.
She walked up to Hinata, "He wants to see you now." She said.
Hinata bit her lip and looked at Gaara. He growled before he nodded and she went with Sakura to the hospital.
Going into Kiba's room she was able to see him. He looked defeated. Akamaru was gone and Kiba looked close to death. She walked up to him and took his hand.
"Kiba, I'm here." She said softly.
Kiba opened his eyes and gave a soft smile. "Hinata….. I'm so glad you are here…." He said softly. "Please….. let me die…"
Hinata gasped and looked at him tears forming, "Why would I do that?!" She asked.
Kiba looked at her, "Please…. I can't forgive myself for attacking you… one of my only friends…. I hurt you and I can't live with that…." He said.
Hinata glared a bit, "If I did not forgive you would I be here right now? At your bed begging you to stay alive?"
Kiba looked at her, "And what of your husband. What is to say he wont come after me when i can fight back?"
"He won't. He has approved of you gaining your chakra back. We have both forgiven you and Akamaru. Please Kiba….. come back and be my best friend…" She said touching his face.
Kiba looked at her long and hard before shaking his head, "I need time to think…"
Hinata nodded, "I need to get to the meeting." She said before walking out.
Hinata walked with Sakura to the council room. Stepping into the room she was a bit shocked to see Naruto sitting next to Tsundae. He smiled a bit and she smiled back. She walked over to Gaara and sat down next to him.
Tsundae clapped her hands, "Since we are both here I guess I should tell you that Naruto is here with us because he is training to take my place as Hokage. Sakura is here as our Medical-nin. Let us start the discussion on whether Kiba and Akamaru get their chakra back."
Gaara nodded and Tsundae continued, "We understand that he attacked your wife, and we are terribly sorry abou that, but the man is dying. We don't want to let him die."
Gaara arched his brow, "Why should we care that he is going to die."
Hinata's eyes widened and she looked up shocked at Gaara. He continued, "He tried to kill my wife because he could not have her for himself. Whats to say that if we give him his chakra back he won't try to finish the job."
Tsundae nodded a bit, "A good worry. I can only give you my word that if one hair is harmed to your wife or your family by Kiba we will have him executed."
Hinata's hand covered her mouth to keep from gasping and she took a deep breath to relax. Gaara glanced at her before nodding, "I take your word and give my approval." He said.
Tsundae nodded and smiled, "Perfect! Now lets talk! How are things coming with creating an heir."
Hinata's face went red and she saw Naruto flinch. Gaara simply glared, "It is going fine." He said sternly.
As they started talking Hinata remembered the tea Matsuri had given her. She took the bottle and opened it up. Tsundae blinked and sniffed the air. She waved her hand and Sakura walked over and took the tea.
"H-hey!" Hinata gasped.
"I thought you were trying to have a child Hinata." Tsundae said taking the tea.
"I… I am…. Matsuri gave me that. Its to help me conceive."
Tsundae glared, "I'm disappointed in you Hinata. I thought I trained you better. This does the exact opposite. This will prevent you from conceiving."
Hinata gasped and Gaara got to his feet, "I want Matsuri in chains! I will have her head for poising my wife!" He screamed before starting out the door.
"Gaara-kun wait!" Hinata yelled taking his arm.
He stopped and looked at her, "No Hinata. You stay here. I am going back to Suna now. Stay away from your father. Stay in the Hokage Tower for the night and come back tomorrow." He said.
Hinata nodded, "Just don't kill her ok Gaara? Let her have a trial."
Gaara huffed before storming out. Hinata looked at everyone else, they were shocked.
"I'm sorry Hinata. I didn't mean to cause this but I didn't want you to drink it again." Tsundae said.
Hinata shook her head, "Its alright. I'm glad you stopped me." She bowed, "Excuse me. I must go see my father." She said.
Naruto stood up, "But Gaara said-"
"I know what he said. But if I do not see my father it will be a slap in the face and bring dishonor to the clan. I must go." At that she walked from the room with Temari following after her.
When Hinata came to her old home she took a deep breath before knocking on the door. Her little sister opened the door and smiled before pulling her into a hug.
"I was worried you would never come back." She said smiling. She then stopped when their father came to the door.
Hinata looked up at him, "I am in Kohona for the night." She said sternly not losing her cool.
Her father looked her up and down, "Come in." he said ignoring Temari.
The two girls walked into the house and sat across Hinata's father at the table. He sipped his tea and looked at her, "Are you here to complain about your husband?" He asked.
Hinata shook her head, "No father."
"Good. Are you pregnant?"
"No father."
"You are bringing shame to this family." He said putting the cup down and glaring. "You have been married for almost six months now and you are not pregnant yet?"
Hinata flinched, "One of his ninja's was poisoning me."
He slammed his fist down, "That is no excuse!" He yelled making Hinata flinch again. "Get out of my house! Do not come back until you bring honor to this clan." he said.
Hinata nodded and stood up. With Temari fuming on her heels she walked from the house.
"Hinata…" Temari started before Hinata put up her hand.
"Please Temari. I know what you are going to say and I understand. I just…. I don't want to talk about this… Please…" She said, "Lets just go to the Hokage Tower."
The next day Hinata and Temari were at the front gate about to leave for Suna. Naruto was there saying goodbye when Sakura wheeled a wheelchair up.
Kiba looked up at Hinata with a smile. "Thank you Hinata. For not letting me give up." He said before he stood up and hugged her.
Hinata teared up and hugged him back, "Thank you for always being my friend." She said before releasing him.
The two friends looked at each other before Temari took her shoulder, "We need to go. Gaara is expecting us." She said.
Hinata nodded and the two waved before taking off into the forest.
Hours passing and they were two miles from Suna territory when a shurikin shot out and hit Temari in the arm. She cried out and fell to the floor.
Hinata gasped and held up her hands to defend. "Who's out there?!" She called.
A man in an orange mask jumped down, "We need you to lure Naruto to us!" he said playfully.
Before Hinata could say anything the man was behind her and he hit her neck knocking her out. Collapsing in his arms Temari screamed and tried to attack. The man jumped away and threw more shurikin into her body to keep her down. "Ah ah ah. No no. She is ours. Tobi is a good boy!" He yelled before jumping into the woods and vanishing.
Gaara was in his office looking over paper work. All of sudden Kankuro burst into the room.
"Temari came back! They were attacked! The Akatsuki took Hinata!"
I know its another cliff hanger but the next chapter won't take as long next time. I promise. Its actually almost done. Please rate and review3
