Hi, guys! And it's finally April! That means one more month until MomoCon! You can't believe my mother just gave me a straight yes. I thought I had heard wrong, but she said yes! That was about six months ago when she said yes, so yeah.

Anyway, I love you all! You gave me ELEVEN FREAKIN' REVIEWS! I was so happy. When I got the email, I was like, probably just another favorite or follow or something. But instead, it was a review for this story! I love you all! Like I said in chapter... what was it? 7? That I'm going to reply to reviews every couple of chapters, so here we go:

AverageLucas: Thank you for wishing me a Happy Birthday! I appreciate it. Of course, that new fanfic will be out soon. It'll be worth the wait! :)

Fireminer: Okay, it's definitely not number one, but it might be one of the other two...

Ghibli Ninja: First I want to say is that I appreciate you betaing the story for me. You're a lot of help. Now remember, don't go beta if it's late at night or you're sleepy. I completely understand. I don't want you getting sick or anything.

Anyway, maybe one of your two guesses might right. Sadly, I can't tell you in this chapter because I already have what's going to happen when you find out. But you'll find out soon... In a very familiar way. You and the readers might kill me.

Also, we will have more CluClu! In fact, this chapter is CluClu centered! Yay!

Guest: March 25th? Three days after mine! Sweet!

Guest 2: Yes. We all want to see some CluClu develpoment. I'm getting there, I'm getting there. Euphemia? You'll find out soon. Might kill me...

BreezyDream: I know right! I thought it was cute too. Sometimes when I'm writing a chapter, I need a good dose of some kind of CluClu. Lol.

Jade: Thank you for your review!

Howlx100: I loved the kiss scene I wrote, too. I can't wait until I actually have them kiss on the lips. Oooh. I want to know what you think happened to Euphie. Tell me when you review again! :)

MrAnimefanman: I'm so glad you love my story! I really appreciate your review. The love triangle? Probably. The thing is, I'm not a fan of love triangles, but I'm writing one. Weird.

Marinee: You were the tenth reviewer! I love you so much! And thank you for the review. I appreciate it.

Guest 3: This is the update! Yay!

Now, the story starts! Enjoy!

C.C. breathed in and out silently, her chest rising up and down as she slept. She was sleeping peacefully, the light of the moon shining down on her through the window.

Her sleep was interrupted by the sound of a vibration. The green haired teen moaned in anger, wondering who was calling her in the middle of night. She placed a hand on her nightstand, feeling for her phone. Once her hand made contact with the black phone, she sat up in her bed, squinting her eyes to make out the caller ID.

When her vision cleared, the teen's golden eyes instantly turned into a glare. She dismissed the phone call, and placed it back on her nightstand. For a moment, her face turned into a look of sadness.

Sighing, she lay back down on her pillow. C.C. turned the opposite way, away from her phone. "It's better off like this," she whispered to herself.

~The Next Day~

Lelouch glanced at C.C. from the. She had looked sad all day. Not that he was worried. Okay, maybe he was worried a little bit.

Anyway, he noticed she wasn't as sarcastic, smug or annoying. She hadn't complained when he told her to make the tomato sauce. She didn't make a smug reply when he teased her that it was a miracle it came out right. She didn't even have or instigate an argument with Kallen.

He hoped she wasn't sick. He already only had three employees. Once in a while, Euphie would help out, but it wasn't the same. Without C.C., it felt... quiet.

Lelouch walked towards the girl who was finishing up the last couple of tables. She stopped to give a strained smile at a family who were just leaving. Lelouch then saw her frown. She must have realized it was raining outside, and she didn't have an umbrella.

C.C. grumbled something under her breath, and walked past Lelouch like he wasn't there.

The raven haired teen took a deep breath. Without turning around, he called, "C.C.?"

She stopped walking, and turned around. "What?" she answered.

"Are... Are you okay? Lelouch asked. He was surprised she didn't say 'warlock' when she answered. That's another thing she hasn't said all day.

The green haired teen mumbled, "I'm fine."

"No, you're not, C.C. You've been quiet all day," Lelouch blurted. Why was he so worried about her, again? His mouth was talking on it's own! Ugh!

A small, but weak, smirk crept up on the female teen's face. "Since when have you worried about me?" she replied. "I don't recall you ever being worried about me, neh."

Lelouch knew whatever she was down about, she was trying to hide it by teasing him. Not working today. "Well, I have to worry about you today. So tell me, what's wrong?"

C.C. sighed. "I'm fine, okay? Just a little tired today," she assured. She walked into the kitchen, and then came back out. "So don't worry."

Lelouch felt that C.C. was lying. He just couldn't shake off that feeling that she wasn't okay. He didn't pry any further. Instead, he went to the kitchen. "Suzaku, Kallen. C.C. and I are leaving now." He threw the keys to his best friend. "Lock up when you two leave, lover boy."

Suzaku blushed while Kallen gave Lelouch a confused look. "Hold on. Why don't we all leave together? We just have to finish tidying up the kitchen."

"We both need to work something out, so see ya." Lelouch told her. He walked out of the kitchen, leaving Kallen and Suzaku even more confused.

Kallen huffed. She shot a glare at Suzaku. "What?" Suzaku asked.

"I'm about to give up! He's impossible!" Kallen yelled angrily, throwing her arms in the air.

"Witch, you're coming to my house tonight." the raven haired teen decided.

"Wait, what?" C.C. asked in confusion. "Lelouch, I don't want-

An umbrella and jacket landed in C.C.'s arms. "You seem sad, and I'm not taking an 'I'm fine'. My family should make you a little more lively." Lelouch smiled.

C.C. couldn't help but smile back at him. The first real one she had today. "Thank you, Lelouch,"

For some unknown reason, Lelouch liked the way his name rolled off her tongue. He smiled at this thought.

The walk to the Lamperouge mansion was quiet... and wet. A passing car drove over a puddle of water, soaking both Lelouch and C.C. from head to toe. Lelouch cursed under his breath while C.C. tried to ring out as much water from her hair as she could.

Once at the mansion, Lelouch unlocked the door. He was welcomed with the sight of Nunnally, Rolo,... and his father, Charles Lamperouge.

Rolo was rolling his eyes in exasperation while Nunnally had her hands over her ears to block out their father's loud voice. He seemed to be explaining a math problem to them, but was doing it loudly. He felt sorry for his brother and sister, but couldn't stay.

Lelouch tried to quietly walk past the living room to the steps, keeping a tight hold on C.C's wrist. Unfortunately, for Lelouch, his father spotted him. Lelouch huffed a strand of hair out of his face in anger.

"LELOUCH, MY BOY!" Charles greeted loudly.

The raven haired teen groaned in annoyance. "Hi, dad." he mumbled. Why did this happen? Why did he have such a loud father?

Charles slapped a hand on his son's back, making the poor teen gasp for air. "YOU BROUGHT C.C. ALONG!" He cheerfully added," HOW ARE YOU DOING, FUTURE-DAUGHTER-IN-LAW?! I'M GLAD TO SEE YOU!"

Lelouch automatically blushed, while a tiny smirk made its way onto C.C.'s face. "Dad, please," he hissed. He was trying to be patient with his father. He really was, but he was hard to be patient with. "I'm just trying to get to my bedroom. If you vision is okay, you can clearly see we are soaking wet."

"BUT, LELOUCH! I-" A pancake was stuffed in Charles mouth.

"Charles, hun, I swear if you talk loud in this house one more time, I'll strangle you." His wife, Marianne, threatened. Charles muffled a 'yes ma'am', and started chewing on the pancake.

Lelouch had a confused look on his face. "Mom... why are you making pancakes? I thought you were doing dinner."

"Oh, Lelouch, sweetie!" Marianne smiled brightly. "Good. You're home. Anyway, to answer your question: I am making dinner. The pancakes are for me. I have rice and curry cooking right now." she explained.

"You want pancakes... for dinner?" Lelouch asked his mother, raising an eyebrow.

Marianne nodded. "I've been craving them lately," she mumbled to herself. "Well," she smiled widely, grabbing her husband's hand, who was still chewing on the pancake, and waved good-bye. "Toodles, Lelouch and C.C."

When they left, C.C.'s smirk got even bigger. Lelouch's family had lightened up her mood some. First, she had to say something to her raven haired warlock. Couldn't go a day without flustering Lelouch.

"I guess we should start planning our wedding soon, neh?"

"C.C.!"

Ah, the lovely sound of an embarrassed Lelouch.

Lelouch came out the bathroom, drying his hair with a towel. He forgot a shirt, so he had to walk out shirtless. He looked at the golden eyed teen who was sitting on the floor doing nothing. Her clothes dried a little, but they were still damp.

The violet eyed teen searched in his draw for a shirt. Before putting it on, he called," Witch?"

"What?" C.C. looked up at her friend. A shirtless Lelouch didn't faze her for some odd reason. Though, a slight pink blush graced her cheeks.

"You can use my bathroom. I'll ask Euphemia can you borrow some clothes." he told her, putting on a black, long sleeved v-neck.

C.C. watched him walk out the door. She wondered if she should tell him what was bothering her. The caller wasn't Mao. She shuddered at the name. Mao... Mao was someone she didn't even know until two years ago. When she was fourteen years old. They were friends at first, but then something happened that made her want to stay away from him...

Her thoughts were interrupted by Lelouch who was carrying a pair of jeans and a red shirt with a golden heart and a black arrow going through it.

"Here. If you need me, I'll be setting the table for dinner. Dinner will be ready in ten, and you be out of my room in five," Lelouch smirked.

C.C. chuckled.

During dinner, it was pretty much the same. C.C. knew Lelouch's family very well now. She liked the fact that they welcomed her here as family. Though, Lelouch didn't feel like family to her. What was he to her?

"C.C., dear." Marianne called, a warm smile on her face.

"Yes?"

"Are you okay? Mr. I-Want-To-Stay-Single a.k.a my son, told me you seemed down today," the raven haired woman asked in concern.

C.C. shot Lelouch a glare who just shrugged like it had nothing to do with him. He told his mother to see if she could get something out of her. Very sly, warlock, she thought. Turning back to the older woman, she sighed, saying, "I'm fine, Mrs. Lamperouge. You shouldn't worry," she assured her.

Marianne bit into a pancake, chewing it before answering, "Okay, dear. Just making sure. I have never seen Lelouch-sweetie worry about a girl before. The only females I have ever seen him worry about is his sister and cousins. That's all."

The green haired teen raised an eyebrow at Lelouch in amusement and surprise. Never worried about a girl before, huh, the green haired girl thought. Interesting.

After dinner, Lelouch and C.C. left back to his room. They left Cornelia, Euphie, Schneizel, Nunnally, and Rolo to arguing over who had kitchen duty. They apparently always settled this with rock, papers, scissors, shoot. Funny.

Once in her friend's room, C.C. jumped on Lelouch's bed, burying her head into the pillows. The pillow smelled like him. She never noticed she knew his scent before now. Wait a minute... What was she thinking?! It's weird for her to know his scent like this! She immediately sat back up, and waved her hands in her face.

"I need Cheese-kun," she told Lelouch, trying to get what just happen out of her head.

Lelouch grumbled something under his breath, and tossed a stuffed toy to her. "You left it last time you were here. I was hoping you wouldn't remember." Lelouch mumbled, taking a seat at his computer desk.

"Of course I would remember Cheese-kun was here." She shrugged, laying back down on the bed, but on her back instead. "He would get mad if I forgot about him. I also wanted to see if you would return it."

"You know I wouldn't return it if I had the chance." Lelouch gave an exasperated sigh. "Seeing as that thing gives me a headache."

"Only you, boya." C.C. chuckled.

Lelouch stood up to look out his window. It was pouring outside. There was no way he was letting her go home in this rain. He slightly blushed at the thought of her staying over. Stuff like this usually didn't faze him all that much, but C.C. was a different kind of girl. His mother and everyone else considered her family, but not him. What was she to him?

"Lelouch, can I ask you a question?" C.C. asked suddenly, interrupting his thoughts.

Lelouch turned to her. He narrowed his eyes at her in suspicion. "What kind of question?" If it was embarrassing, he was not answering it.

She grinned like a Cheshire cat. "Answer my question first, and then maybe I'll answer your question."

"Why can't you answer my question first?"

"Because I asked first."

"Fine. What do you want to ask me?" Lelouch sighed in defeat.

"First off," the golden eyed girl started, "It's not an embarrassing question. Just a normal one."

Lelouch placed a hand under his chin. "I get the point, witch. Now what is it?"

"Do you miss your mother when she has to leave for a long time?"

Well, that was an question Lelouch didn't expect her to ask. He wondered why she was asking it. "Well. My mother isn't the type of person you miss, but yeah. I do miss her a lot when she has to got out of the country or town."

"I don't know if I'd miss my mother." C.C. said quietly. She hugged Cheese-kun closer to her chest.

Lelouch was surprised she said something about family. For the last three and half months he's known her, not was once had she mentioned anything about family. "C.C... who is your mother? And why don't you live with her?"

The green haired teen put her head down, making her bangs cover her golden eyes. "I... my mother is on a business trip. That's why I came here. She's no one important," she mumbled.

Lelouch was going to leave it at that, because he knew this was dangerous territory. But yet again, his mouth was talking on it's own. "What about your father?"

"He's dead."

The raven haired teen's eyes widened. He didn't think that would be her answer at all. "I'm am so sorry, C.C. If I knew that, I would have never asked." Lelouch apologized. "If I hurt-

"It's fine." C.C. smiled sadly. Tears were threatening to fall, but she refused to let them.

Lelouch walked over to his bed, sitting next to his friend who refused to cry. He put his hands on her shoulder. Taking a deep breath, he asked, "Did you ever cry when your father died?"

C.C. shook her head no. "I wanted to be strong for my mother. She was devastated when she found out. People thought I was heartless and ungrateful because I didn't know." C.C. explained to Lelouch quietly.

Lelouch smiled softly. He leaned his head against hers, placing a hand on her left cheek. "Cry."

"What?" C.C. gave him a sad, confused look.

"Cry." he repeated softly.

For the first time since her father's death, C.C. cried. She cried until she couldn't produce anymore tears. She took shuddering breaths, trying to calm down. She wiped the tear stains off her face, sniffing.

Lelouch removed her her hands from her face. He smiled. "Do you feel better?"

"Yeah," she buried her head in his neck. "Can... can we just stay like this for a minute?" Lelouch didn't answer, but he wrapped her arms around her waist, pulling her closer.

Soon, the green haired girl fell asleep in the raven haired boy's arms. He smiled, lying her down on the bed. He took off his shirt, and joined her in the bed. "You know," he whispered, "you always said that I was your warlock, and I would just call you a witch. But never mine." He circled his arms around her waist.

"Starting tonight," he smirked, "You are my witch."

Well, that's it! I hope you enjoyed it! It was full of CluClu! Now, let's try for more than ten reviews, kay? Tell me what you think of the chapter in your reviews!
