"Are you done yet?" Isaac asked, calling through the train cart door. I pulled on my black boots before walking over and sliding the metal door open, revealing Isaac leaning against the cart wall on the other side.

"This answer your question?" I smiled as he glared playfully at me. I stuck my tongue out at him and he chuckled, grabbing my wrist and pulling me out of the train cart; making me trip and fall against his chest. Isaac caught me round the waist and I could feel my cheeks warming up as a pink blush flushed through them.

"It does, but that doesn't mean you have to throw yourself at me." he teased, looking down at me. I pushed myself off of him and stood with narrowed eyes as I looked up at the tall beta werewolf.

"You should know by now that I'm clumsy, you yanking me around won't help with the matter." I remarked, making a grin appear on his face. He laughed and hugged me tightly, chuckling by my ear.

"I do know that, but it's cute when you get frustrated." I scowled at him and he ruffled my hair with a smile before dropping a kiss onto the top of my head. "You look beautiful by the way." My cheeks tinted pink and I heard a honk come from outside.

"Scott and Allison are here!" I heard Derek yell out. Isaac took hold of my hand and gently pulled me towards the entrance of the subway station where Derek was standing. The Alpha smiled at me before we left and I climbed into the back of Melissa's car which Scott had borrowed off her for the night.

"Steph, are you any good at bowling?" Allison asked, turning round in her seat slightly to look back at me. I shrugged lightly.

"I haven't been in years, who knows what my bowling skills will be like." I smiled as she laughed before sitting properly again. "Maybe you could help me." I smiled over at Isaac. His face broke out into a grin and he nodded rigorously.

I blushed as I felt Isaac standing behind me with one of his hands resting on my hip while the other had a secure hold on my wrist which had the bowling ball. He pulled my arm back slightly before I released the ball when my arm swung forward again. I watched as all of the bowling pins fell down and squeaked as a smile appeared on my face.

I heard Allison cheer from behind me as I looked at Isaac who had a grin on his face as he looked down at me. I flashed him a smile and he chuckled, pressing a kiss to my forehead and making me blush lightly before we returned to our seats as an annoyed looking Jackson went up for his turn. Allison started making suggestive faces at me from behind Isaacs back and I mouthed at her to stop it, successfully earning myself attention from Isaac.

"What are you doing?" he asked, laughing a little.

"Nothing, Allison was being silly behind your back." I replied, making the accused girl stick her tongue out at me which Isaac caught and laughed at. I noticed Jackson staring at me with narrowed eyes and turned my head away from him, trying to ignore the feeling of his gaze.

I found it strange that everyone who knew he was the Kanima was still willing go out somewhere with him, to be honest I was completely terrified of him. I unconsciously pressed closer into Isaac's side, making him look at me.

"What's wrong?" he asked, frowning a little.

"Jackson scares me." I whispered softly so only he would be able to hear me. His expression softened as he looked at me, reaching his hand out and lightly stroking his thumb over my cheek.

"I'll look after you, I won't let him touch you." he said softly, resting his forehead against mine as his large hands held my face. Butterflies erupted in my stomach and I reached out, my hands finding his middle and grabbing hold of his shirt while his breath gently fanned across my face; mixing with my own.

His face slowly came closer until his nose bumped mine and his mouth was barely an inch away from my own. My hands tightened around his shirt and found my eyes fluttered shut on their own accord as I felt his warm lips pressed gently against mine. It was only now that I realised how long I'd wanted him to kiss me, and that the fluttery feeling I would get when I'm with him was because I had grown feelings towards him.

He pulled away slightly and his blue eyes connected with mine. I felt myself smile which in turn made his face light up in a grin.

"You have no idea how long I've wanted to do that for." he said quietly, allowing himself to peck my lips again.

Someone cleared their throat and the both of us turned our heads in the direction it came from, seeing Scott and Allison as well as Lydia staring at us with smiles on their faces. I felt myself blush from their stares and leant into Isaac to try and hide.

"It's about damn time!" Lydia remarked with her hands on her hips, smiling at me.

"You guys mind if we break off from here?" Isaac asked. The three shook their heads and I let myself be led away by Isaac, following him out of the bowling alley where we swapped our shoes again before walking hand in hand down the darkening street.

The evening was a little cold and Isaac seemed to realise this and wrapped his jacket around my shoulders before winding his arm around my waist as he looked down at me.

"You know when I said I had an anchor?" he asked, making me nod. "Do you know what an anchor is for a werewolf?"

"It's what Allison is for Scott. She's his mate because she's his anchor." I replied, looking up at him as Isaac stopped walking and seeing him nod.

"You're my anchor Steph." he said softly. "Please don't freak out." I giggled a little as he added the end bit and saw him smile.

"I trust you Isaac, I have ever since I met you."

His expression softened and he leant down so he could rub the tip of his nose against mine in an Eskimo kiss. I wrapped my arms around his neck so he stayed in place and made my blue eyes look into his.

"Steph, will you be mine?" he asked quietly. I smiled and nodded, making his grin widen. I squeaked in shock as his arms wound around my waist, lifting me off the ground, and twirled around in circles. I giggled and held onto him tightly with my cheek pressed against his.

He stopped and bent down so both my feet were touching the ground do again before peppering my face with small kisses, making me laugh and push his head away. Isaac kept his arm wound tightly around me as we walked back to the abandoned subway station we called home.

My legs began to ache and I was growing tired. I heard Isaac laugh quietly as I forced my eyes to stay open and felt his scoop me up and place me on his back. I hung my arms around his neck as I lent my cheek on the back of his head.

Isaac's POV

I heard Steph's heartbeat slow and become steady, signalling that she had fallen asleep and I smiled; moving my arms carefully so that I had a better hold on her but didn't wake her up. I walked into the old station and was careful not to jostle her as I went down the stairs. Derek looked over at me and saw that Steph was asleep on my back and I saw a small smile on his face.

"I'm taking it that you've told her?" he said so only my wolf ears would pick the sound up. I nodded. "She's very fragile Isaac, just remember to be gentle with her."

"I know." I smiled as her scent was masking me and filled my senses. Derek nodded and I continued my way towards the train cart we shared. I gently set her down on the mattress and pulled her shoes off so she could sleep comfortably. A soft smile tugged at my lips as I stared down at the beautiful girl lying in front of me.
