Chapter Eleven – The Chapter With No Name! (omg such a short chapter)
I think I'll call it….
We got back to the house and I rushed to where Lucy said all the instruments would be. I began writing chords, notes and a neater copy of the lyrics out. I was working quickly through everything when I heard a shout from somewhere in the house.
"Levy!" It sounded like Gajeel.
"What?" I shouted back.
"Dinner's ready. So you know, come and get it." Gajeel shouted and I giggled at want he said since it sounded kind of sexual.
"I'll be there soon!" I started working twice as fast now and it seemed everything was finished I just needed to get everyone here and to practise. Just to make sure.
I quickly ran to the dining room and everyone was finishing their meals. I ran and sat down in the empty seat and smiled at the others.
"And where were you?" Lucy asked standing up and grabbing her empty plate.
"Just doing something important." I said smiling. Lucy quickly got what I was implying and started jumping around like an overexcited school girl. Well she technically was an overexcited schoolgirl since we're still in school but that's only the details!
"Is it finished?" She asked eagerly. I nodded my head and she squealed even louder than before.
"Just let me finished my food then I'll show you" I said smiling.
"Show us what?" Natsu said clueless. Boy that guy is dense!
"The song you idiot!" Gray said face palming. Natsu's face lit up and he suddenly grabbed Lucy's hand and dragged her across the room.
"Come on Luce! If we get there now we can take a peak before anyone else!" He shouted and froze right before he walked through the now opened door. His face suddenly turned the colour of his hair and his let go of Lucy's hand and shot it up behind his head. Lucy looked away to hide her flustered face. "Maybe we should wait for Levy." He tried to make it sound normal but it faulted in the middle causing his true feelings to shine through. Too bad Lucy was too busy worrying about her own blushing face to notice Natsu's. I need to confront them soon.
The two awkwardly stood in silence while I finished my food. When I finished my meal they all ran off downstairs leaving me with Gajeel. I sighed and moved my plate to the dishwasher and joined them in the 'music' room.
They were all standing ready to get given their sheets of music for them to begin practising. Even Wendy was waiting patiently next to Lucy. She looked so cute. I started passing out the sheets of music out and then the noise started.
"Hey Levy can you come here for a second?" Lucy said waving me over.
"Yeah what's up?" I said walking over to her.
"Can you sing through the song so I know the tune?" Lucy said mischievously.
"No." I said bluntly. "I will say it but not sing." Lucy sighed.
"Why?" She whined.
"Because I can't sing." I said rolling my eyes.
"But what about when you're in the shower? You sing fine there." Lucy said smiling.
"No I don't… wait you listen to me in the shower?" I raised an eyebrow at her.
"Maybe." She giggled to herself. This is a perfect time to confront her about Natsu.
"So… do you listen to Natsu when he's in the shower too?" Her face turned red.
"N-no." She said trying to laugh it off.
"But I thought you liked Na…" her hands quickly covered my mouth and she gave me the death glare. She then let go and put her finger to her lips.
"Shh, it's our little secret." She whispered. I nodded my head.
"I'll play you the song on the keyboard and hum where the lyrics will go." I said walking to my instrument. Lucy bounced over and grabbed the lyric sheet off the stand she was using. She put the lyrics in the stand on my keyboard and smiled, signalling for me to begin.
As I played through it humming along, Lucy closed her eyes and just listened. She looked so peaceful, she kind of looked like a real sleeping beauty but she wasn't asleep or was she? Is this song that boring? I suddenly stopped playing and humming. Her eyes snapped open and she looked confused.
"Why'd you stop?" She said, squinting her eyes.
"N-nothing." I said and continued playing. I'm too self-conscious.
Once I finished, Lucy was clapping her hands.
"Thank you." She said grabbing the lyrics and bouncing away. I laughed to myself. She's just like a little kid.
I sat down watching everyone smile while they were practising. It feels good knowing that people like my music.
We practised every day and got better and better each day. It was amazing! Though Lucy kept forgetting to come in because of the start but she's getting there.
Anyway we're now on the boat back. Wendy forgot to bring more of that medicine thing so Gajeel and Natsu have their head hung over the boat. It's actually quite funny and Gajeel totally deserves it for pushing me over.
While we were on the way to the boat Gajeel pushed me over. He said he 'tripped' but I doubt it. He's always lying and being mean so he deserves it!
That reminds me Natsu still has to do the song in his underwear, I bet Lucy would enjoy that. I started laughing uncontrollably and got odd stares from everyone else.
"What's so funny?" Lucy said rubbing her chin while giving me strange looks.
"N-nothing, Lu-chan." I said giggling. Lucy just shook it off and smiled.
"Hey last night I was thinking and well, what are we going to wear for battle of the bands?" Lucy tilted her head to the side.
"Hmm. What about normal clothes?" I said winking at Lucy.
"No no no, that won't do! We need a theme! I was thinking maids and butlers but then again I don't think it goes with our genre." Lucy said rubbing her temples. "What about bunnies!" I shook my head violent e. I'm not going to dress up as something as embarrassing as that.
"How about we ask the others when we stop, okay? For now we can ask Wendy and Gray." I said smiling. Lucy nodded her head and pulled me towards the other two who were playing snap, I think.
"Hey what do you think we should wear for battle or the bands?" Lucy said interrupting their game.
"Do we really need to have matching clothes and whatnot?" Gray said placing down a card onto the pile.
"Why not wear something related to your name?" Wendy suggested. She placed down a card that matched Gray's. "Snap!" Wendy shouted picking up the card pile and adding it to her own pile. "You're going to lose at this rate, Gray-kun."
"Yeah, whatever." Gray said rolling his eyes. What even relates to our name? I turned to Lucy, who was obviously thinking the same thing.
"Alice in wonderland!" Lucy shouted.
"What?" Gray and I said in sync.
"The theme will be Alice in Wonderland!" Lucy said shining.
"But that doesn't match our name. That's the other type of fairy tail." I said face palming.
"Yeah but it can be like a joke that we spelt our name wrong or something!" Lucy explained but I still didn't understand what she was getting at. She sighed and grabbed a piece of paper and began scribbling on it. She lifted the paper up and shoved it towards us.
It had 'Fairy Tale' written on it but 'tale was scribbled out and 'Tail' was written above it in swirly letters.
"Do you understand now?" Lucy said.
"Yeah, it's actually really cool." I said smiling "but I think we should check the outfit idea through them guys" I pointed towards Gajeel and Natsu.
After the boat docked we started discussing the outfits and it seemed like everyone was on bored with the Alice in wonderland theme. Now was the challenge of where to find the costumes.

I've finally wrote this chapter! It's taken me so long and i don't even know why! I don't even have writers block or anything!
so i go on holiday tomorrow (it's still the holidays for me xD) and i promised myself i would get it done before i left and i managed it!
i do hope you like this chapter cuz at some point it turned into nonsense and had to delete it so if some nonsense in there just ignore it
