So I think all you 86/60 supporters should go read this story 'The Couple Everyone Saw Coming' it has a lemon in it and probably another couple down the line. Pretty much Fanny and Patton have a drunken one night stand and then start to date I guess, it's very good and the author needs ideas so read and review!

This chapter takes place very close to Operation: FUGITIVE, this is kind of my excuse for Fanny's behavior in there because she's angry in her episodes but not as bad as she was in FUGITIVE.

Flashback:

Fanny huffed and threw the papers for decommissioning down on her desk then dropped her face into her hands "I hate doing this every day." She stood up and walked out of her office toward the bridge to see numbuh 274. They had become good friends during training, along with Rachel and Patton. He was standing next to the monitors looking at some papers "Hello sir."

Chad turned to face her "Hello numbuh 86."

"Have you seen numbuh 362 or numbuh 60 around anywhere?"

Chad looked around him "Well I know numbuh 362 was on a scouting mission a little while ago, I think numbuh 60 left and headed for Arctic Base."

"Okay, thanks sir."

Fanny headed on down to Arctic Base and after sending a glare toward the 44 twins, headed to Patton's office and knocked on the door "Hey numbuh 60, you in there?" she heard a giggle through the door, it was a girl's giggle "Patton?" she slightly pushed the door open to see Mary-Lou leaning against the wall and Patton kissing her "PATTON DRILOVSKY!"

He pulled away and looked at her, rolling his eyes "What? What!?"

Fanny just stuttered and looked at the two of them as Mary-Lou giggled "Calm down Red, he likes me, something you wouldn't understand. Now where were we Patton?"

Patton chuckled and ushered for Fanny to leave "Go away Fanny cause mój Boże I'm a bit busy at the given moment."

Fanny stomped away and made sure she was well away from the base before she let the tears flow.

End Of Flashback

Fanny wiped the tear that was threatening to run down her cheek, she needed to stop thinking about that. Sure it'd been the last time she'd had a civilized conversation with Patton, sure she now hated Mary-Lou's guts even more than she did before, and sure she was now very mean and loud and everyone hated her. There was a knock on her office door and she groaned, why didn't these people understand that she wanted to be left alone!?

"What?" she yelled

"Fanny, its Rachel, unlock this door! It's an emergency!"

Fanny jumped up and ran over to the door, unlatching it; she pulled it open to allow Rachel entry "What's wrong? Something with our stupid brothers?!"

"No its Patton! He's in the ER! Apparently he was in a lot of pain this morning and then he just passed out! Natalie came running over to tell me!" before Fanny could even react, Rachel grabbed her hand and started to run toward the docking bay "Come on we gotta go!"

As they ran into the emergency room, Fanny spotted CeCe and Natalie right away. They didn't look very worried, not like she expected them too for the exact same reason Bo was nowhere to be seen, Natalie was probably the only one who kind of cared. Rachel and Fanny ran over to the two Polish girls "Where is he? What happened?" Rachel asked panicked

CeCe sighed "He's gonna be fine. He just has appendicitis and it burst so he had to have surgery. He'll be out soon."

"Where's Bo?" Fanny asked

"Mom has a date." Natalie said rolling her eyes

"Figures." Fanny thought, of course Bodanah would take advantage of Patton not being able to complain about her latest boyfriend. They waited there for about 10 minutes before Bo showed up wearing a nice gray dress and heels, some guy was with her wearing a suit and he seemed confused, Fanny later learned the guy's name was Henry and Bodanah's motherly feelings had guilted her into dragging him to the ER to wait for Patton to get out of surgery. The doctor came out about 15 minutes later and said Patton was fine but probably wouldn't wake up for another hour. Fanny and Rachel stayed seated allowing his family to go first…no one moved though, they hadn't even seemed to be listening as Bodanah was arguing with Henry, Natalie was talking to what sounded like Sonya on her aunt's phone, and CeCe had disappeared with a young doctor. Fanny cleared her throat and everyone looked around, Bo seemed to realize what was going on so she grabbed Henry and Natalie and started walking with the doctor back to Patton's room.

About an hour and a half later Natalie came out "You two can go back now, he's been awake for a while."

Rachel and Fanny slinked around the door, Patton was sitting up in the bed staring at Bo and Henry with a baffled face "What do you mean boyfriend?"

"What the hell do you think I mean, stupid! God! We're dating. Get used to it." Bo said as she grabbed Henry and drug him past the girls and out of the room. Patton raised an eyebrow but grinned when he saw Rachel and Fanny.

"Hey, you got her to come then?"

Rachel giggled "Of course, she's not that mad at you Pat."

Fanny growled "Stop talking about me like I'm not in the room!"

Rachel looked between Fanny and Patton "I'm gonna leave you two alone. Maybe you can start talking like you used to instead of avoiding each other."

Fanny reached for Rachel as she headed out the door but she just shook off Fanny's hand and left her with the Polish boy who was now sighing and lying back on the bed "If you really can't stand to talk to me for 5 minutes then you can go, I don't care anymore Fan, I really don't!" he put his hands over his face and sighed "I'm really not in the mood to hear you whining about something shouldn't even matter to you!"

Fanny opened her mouth to scream at him but stopped when she saw him groan and reach for his stomach "What's wrong?" she asked running over to him, he laughed and lifted up the blankets letting Fanny see the bandage over the place Fanny assumed the surgery had been "Does it hurt?"

"Just kinda sore, that's all." Patton sighed and looked at her "They had me in one of those freakin' hospital gowns so I changed as soon as I woke up enough."

Fanny grinned at Patton "Come on Mr. Tough Guy, it's me you're talking to. How are you really feeling?"

Patton groaned "Did I ever tell you about the time that gangster shot me in the shoulder back in Pragna?"

Fanny gasped "No! Someone shot you!?"

"When I was 5. Wrong place, wrong time. It wasn't that bad, didn't hit any arteries or anything. Dad went ballistic, chased the guy down and beat the absolute crap out of him." Patton chuckled thinking back on the event "That was still a pretty good week." Fanny laughed and Patton smiled at her "So you still PO'd?"

Fanny kept giggling "Yes, I'm laughing because what you said was funny, not because I'm proud of you for making out with numbuh 14."

Patton chuckled "The seriousness of that sentence is lost in the giggle fit."

Fanny's giggles stopped and she tried to look serious "I really am still mad at you. I only came because Rachel made it sound like you were dying or something."

"Yeah? So you don't really wanna be here?" Patton asked raising an eyebrow

Fanny scoffed "No."

"Fine, then leave. I'm not gonna force you to stay." Patton reached over and grabbed the crossword puzzle next to him; Fanny smirked knowing that if anyone but her or Rachel was in the room he would have grabbed the video game next to the puzzle. Fanny walked toward the door but stopped when she heard Patton muttering to himself "Damn I wish I knew how to spell pizza, I can hardly even pronounce it."

Fanny giggled "That's because your brain is hardwired for Polish…not English, let alone Italian."

Patton looked up at her "You gonna tell me how to spell this freaky Italian word or…."

"P-I-Z-Z-A."

"Thanks." He looked up to see Fanny sitting on the edge of the bed „Does this mean you're staying?"

Fanny looked at him and grinned "Only cause I like watching you struggle with crosswords."

Patton scoffed and rolled his eyes "Right."

This chapter may have been short but it's also very important. You know how in SLUMBER Fanny says she has no friends? Even after this she still doesn't consider Patton a friend but it's more on his end than hers, she doesn't believe at this point that he wants to be her friend again, that's something that just gets worse as time goes on.
