A/N: I'm sorry, but this one is also pretty short and I'm sorry. The last chapter, this chapter, and there's a 50/50 chance that the next chapter (I'm not sure yet about it) are kind of filler chapters-to pass the time to the other important events in this story.

After that, everything went by in a blur of painful contractions, excited faces, doctors and nurses' covered faces, and people telling her to breathe. When she felt she could finally halt and take in what was happening, she was in the only hospital in Morganville and it was nearly time to push. They allowed her two people in the room and Jason and Eve were the two. She's not sure who she would have wanted in there with her because they made the decision for her. Michael didn't want to risk it with the blood and Shane just said no. The rush at the beginning felt like seconds to the slow passing of her labor. It was hours before her little girl came into the world and another half an hour before her little boy made his entrance.

Everyone's emotions were everywhere. Claire cried a lot when they finally let her hold them both. She was happy yet doubtful: how could she have made anything so perfect and beautiful? Jason looked in awe as he held them individually. He couldn't believe that after all the bad things he'd done he was a father and would actually have the chance to act as one. Eve was delighted. She had a niece and a nephew and Claire was their mother! She always saw Claire as a sister but this made it even more real. Shane and Michael came in and Shane was somewhat indifferent somewhat sad as he held the little boy. He had always pictured him and Claire getting married and her having their first child. Michael decided to wait til they were older to hold them but he was very happy for Claire and that her children were safe.

After a while, Claire was left alone with her two bundles and couldn't help but smile. They were perfect. They were both her skin tone and had dark hair like she and Jason but that was where the similarities ended. The girl had light brown eyes while the boy's were a dark, dark brown: almost black. He had what seemed to be Claire's nose; she seemed to have Jason's. She had what looked to be a birth mark under her left ear while her brother had a few freckles lightly coloring his cheeks.

They were so perfect that Claire could barely stand it. They were so little, so young, so helpless that they now depended on her for every little thing. She now had two little people depending on her to give them the best lives possible and to protect and care for them. It was a big order and she wasn't quite so sure she could fill it. Barely a month into her seventeenth year, she was a mother already. She never thought she'd be a mother so early, but, looking at her two angels, she couldn't bring herself to regret them.

Crying knocked her out of her thoughts. It happened to be her little boy. She was confused a little about what he wanted until a nurse came in and told her he was most likely hungry. This led to the important conversation of whether she'd be breastfeeding or bottle feeding. Claire, of course, chose breastfeeding and the nurse went on to show and explain to her what she needed to do. After all was said and done, he was fed and Claire was just pulling up her gown when Jason and Even walked in.

"How's my favorite new mother?" Eve smiled as she hugged Claire.

"Good, but what are you guys doing back so soon? You just left like an hour ago."

Eve shrugged. "We just couldn't stay away." She said and moved to hold one of the babies from Claire's arms after Claire nodded. "Who would want to be away from these cuties anyway?" She cooed and snuggled the little boy.

Claire smiled before looking at Jason who had, during the conversation, gotten their little girl in his arms and was smiling down at her like the new father he was. She just watched as he bounced her and spoke softly to her and couldn't help but laugh when he was startled to see her watching.

He blushed. "Sorry. I got lost in just how perfect she is and how I'm her father."

Claire nodded. "I feel the same. It's really hard to swallow but it's true now: baby girl and baby boy are our life changers."

"C'mon you guys!" Shane said as he walked into the room with Michael. "You can't keep calling them that. They need names…real names."

Everyone looked to Claire and she scratched her head.

"I haven't really thought about names." They all stared at her longer. It lasted a long minute before Claire got annoyed. "What?"

"You seriously haven't thought of any names for them?"

She shrugged. "It either wasn't on my mind or it slipped my mind. Anyways, we can decide now. Jason?"

He shrugged. "I don't know. I've always like the name Nathan."

'Nathan?' Claire thought. Could she name her son Nathan and live with it? It was a nice name. She nodded. "Nathan is good. Nathan what?"

"How about Nathan Alexander?" Shane offered.

"I like that."

Eve smiled down at the baby in her arms. "Hiya Nathan! Hi! You know who this is? This is your Auntie Eve and I love you very much!" She cooed. "Now what about our little girl?"

Claire scratched her head. "How about Natalie? It's really pretty."

Jason smiled. "It's perfect."

"Natalie Marie." Michael suggested and nods went around the room.

So Nathan and Natalie Danvers-Rosser became the newest members of the Glass House.

Sorry again that it's short. Expect the next update in either two weeks or, if not, then near the middle of January because we have a month long winter break from college and I'm not sure if I'll be around internet in that month.
