Author's note: Thanks to all who've given an answer to my question in the last episode!:) Though I'm not giving my choice yet know I'm reading them and thinking on it and should have an answer by the next chapter or the one after that. Also sorry for taking so long yet again to update, I was waiting to see if more people would review before I updated again.

Chapter Eleven: A Heart is Returned
Harry's POV:
"You know your part my love." Spartacus said as I nodded and waited for the right moment. When the cart was close enough I quickly turned into my panther and walked into the shadows and reappeared on the path and laid down whimpering as if in pain.
"Hold!" the guards called and slowly they all walked up to me.
"What has happened to you little one?" one asked kneeling beside me to see where I was hurt.
The moment he reached for me I opened my eyes and bit his hand badly and backed up.
"You mangy beast!" he yelled only to turn when a girl screamed and saw Spartacus and the others fighting. The man turned back to me only to see I was human again and I smirked at him and cut his throat open then attacked the men as they came at me.
I cut the head off of one and sent a killing curse at another before turning and running to stand near Spartacus and the others. I looked to my left as I ran and saw Nasir stabbing a man sneaking up on Agron who smirked at him and probably said something to try and flirt with him and I smirked at them both.
I cry from Crixus had me looking to him quickly and I saw his opponent fall as he turned to another and killed him.
The last guy tried to sneak up on me but I sensed it coming and he suddenly fell twitching and screaming in pain.
"Harry love I asked you not to use that spell in all fights."
"Sorry love, but he snuck up on me." I told him as he walked over and pecked my lips before stabbing the man in the head and turned to the prisoners to start fearing them.
"Good start to the day." Crixus said then went about asking if anyone had seen Naevia.
"I hope we find her soon, for both her sake and his." I softly said to Spartacus.
"As do I love, as do I." with that we went about getting things from the fallen enemy that could be used later.
"Batiatus?" I prisoner asked and we looked to him. "You are Spartacus then?" he asked Crixus in hope and I laughed making him look to me.
"That's not Spartacus, the handsome moron beside me is. That fool there is Crixus." I said causing both men to playfully glare at me.
"The woman he seeks is of rare beauty, one who carries the mark of her Domina upon her back." Spartacus called out looking at them all.
When none answered Crixus walked up to us. "They add to number but not my cause." He said.
Spartacus went to answer when a cry rang out and we all turned to Agron and Nasir as they stood and turned to us.
"The man spoke of your woman." Nasir said and Crixus walked up to him in hope.
"What did you say?!"
"Dead." The word made Crixus look to Agron slowly in sorrow. "Naevia's dead." The words cut us all deeply and Spartacus pulled me tightly to him, tighter than he usually holds me and that's saying something.
I watched a man I considered an older brother crumble under his pain as he walked to us and I pulled from Spartacus just enough to pull him into a tight hug. He hugged me back tightly and I slowly led him back to the others with Spartacus' hand tightly in mine.
I suddenly just didn't want to let him go or out of my sight for a very long time.
Sirius' POV:
"Why did you call us here Albus." I said deadpanned. Since I watched my pup kill himself a year and a half ago not only Remus was able to get me to smile even if a little. The rest of the time I just sit at home praying for a chance to see Harry one more time, if only to make things right and say a proper goodbye to him.
I looked around at the people gathered here who loved Harry and saw that most carried a look of sadness now.
"I've called you all here to give you some heart lifting news." Albus' words brought me back to the present and I looked to him.
"What news is that sir?" Hermione asked.
"Harry's not been dead this whole time." You could've heard a quill hit the floor in that moment.
"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN?!" I hollered and Remus pulled me tighter to him.
"I mean that on that day a year and a half ago when he fell through something didn't add up to me. That day I came back here feeling older than I ever have and I felt something that I didn't think I'd ever feel again, Harry's tracker still active and ringing very loud I might add."
"Harry's tracker?"
"It's a spell within Hogwarts the Founders put on, more specifically this office. It works like the Ministries tracker only this one just allows the headmaster to know the whereabouts of the student and if they're alive or not. A tracker will go inactive the moment a student graduates, dies, or gets expelled from the school." (For the record, I made this up. I do know my Harry Potter so no crap about this! I needed SOMETHING that would make since on how Dumbledore would know Harry's still alive.) Hermione said and I smiled at her.
'Always one with answers.' I thought fondly and hugged her as Albus answered.
"Quite right, thank you Ms. Granger." He then looked to us when she nodded. "The fact that Harry's are still active means he's alive somewhere."
Anger coursed through me then. "And you just now thought to us all this when you learned of it that day?!" he sighed then and shook his head.
"I needed to know for sure he was alive and not just the hope of an old man wanting to make things right." He said sadly and looked back to me. "This whole time I and Severus have been working whenever possible to figure out just what happened to Harry, and just last night I learned he is in fact alive and where he is."
"So where is he?! Let's go get him already!" I said hopefully and happily.
"I'm afraid it won't be as easy as apparting to him Sirius."
"And why not?"
"Because Mr. Potter's currently hundreds of years in the past." An annoying voice said and I turned to see Senvilus walking in.
"What do you mean?" I asked and he glared.
"I mean what I said you mutt! When Potter through himself selfishly into the Veil he went back in time instead of dying like he clearly wanted."
"Don't speak about Harry like that!" I growled and stepped closer.
"What hate the truth? If Potter hadn't done what he did we wouldn't be fighting Death Eaters nearly every day! My cover got blown because of his selfishness!"
"He was in pain you git! He needed us to listen and when no one did he was done! We're just as guilty in this." I growled and Remus pulled me to him.
"Not now love." He whispered and I calmed in his arms.
"I'm afraid he is correct Sirius." Albus said and we all looked to him.
"Okay, so is there a way to get him home? And just where did he land?" I asked and Albus sighed and held a book to us.
"This passage should tell you all you need to know." Curious, we all walked up and looked at the moving picture a wizard artist made and looked down at the face of Spartacus in a fighting stance with his swords and a very familiar face in his own fighting stance and swords right behind Spartacus with scars littering his body, both had dead bodies surrounding them and blood was all over them and the ground and tiny people could be seen fighting in the background. There was a caption underneath the picture.
This picture was drawn no later than three years after the war Spartacus and the rebellion fought in order to try and gain their freedom. The picture is of Spartacus in a moment in the battle with his lover, a sixteen year old boy who Romans believed to be a god trapped in his vessel due to the rumor of magical powers the boy possessed.
We all looked at the picture in shock before I finally broke the silence when I looked to Albus.
"Please tell me this isn't him." Albus sighed sadly at my begging tone and nodded.
"That's Harry Sirius, right now he's fighting alongside Spartacus and his men, apparently, that is if you read this chapter, Harry was happy with this men. And loved Spartacus with his whole being."
"Why are you talking like Harry's already gone?" Ron asked.
"Because, even though this isn't this last thing drawn, or made, or Spartacus and Harry, the wizard that drew this at the time made it as how Spartacus' followers would have seen these two just moments before the end of the battle. Moments before they disappeared, never to be seen again."
Albus' words made my blood run cold.
"Disappear? What do you mean?"
"As in no one ever saw them again you stupid mutt." Senvilus huffed and I turned to glare at him before looking to Albus.
"No one really knows my boy, just that the battle ended with a lot of men on both sides dead and the two leaders of the rebellion just vanished." He said then turned a smile to me. "But, if you look closer at the picture, there's something that could possibly give us hope." That said we looked down closer at the picture.
It was then a white blur flew across the sky in it. "Hedwig?" Remus asked and looked to Albus who had that twinkle in his eyes again.
"She was seen for many years flying around after the battle, I believe she was pointing to where Harry and Spartacus went. There's a statue of her in our world right near the grounds of the final battle. They say surviving rebels made the statue with her flying the one way she flew the most. Maybe that statue will lead us closer to what happened to them." He said and hope and fear entered me.
"When do we leave?" I asked.
"We leave this weekend. For now it will just be me, you and Remus. Too many people leaving school at once will bring unwanted attention to our quest." We all nodded at him then.
"In the mean time I made many copies of this section of the book, I would like you all to read it in hopes of learning just what happened to Harry before the war." I groaned in annoyance but took the packet anyway and looked to Remus.
"Think you could just tell me what I need to know?" at the shake of his head I groaned louder and walked out with everyone's laughter behind me.
Spartacus' POV:
I watched as Harry allowed Crixus to lean on him as we slowly walked into our home. Harry looked behind him to me with a sad look and let Crixus go when he moved to be released.
I walked up to Harry and pulled him tightly into my arms as we followed behind.
"I can't believe she's gone." He said.
"Yet another blessing taken from us." I said and watched my brother walk in the middle a clasp to his knees as he let his pain be heard by the sky.
"I hold no love for the man, yet it tears heart to see him so broken." Agron said as we watched our brother cry.
"How'd she die?" Harry asked.
"She died of injuries and torment." Agron said. I felt Harry hide his face in my chest and I looked down upon him and saw his shoulders shake in slight.
"It was mercy love. Had she not died then she would have suffered the mines and that's a fate worse than death." I said to him.
Harry nodded but didn't look at me. I sighed and went back to watching my brother in sorrow as his men tried to calm him.
Giaus' POV:
I watched as the old Doctore of this house get his wounds closed with a hot rod and didn't mutter a sound.
"This is what you bring? A statue that bleeds?"
"Oenomaus believes himself a man of honor. It will take more than pain to make words escape his lips of his brothers." Ashur said. "But I know the man well. Should you leave him in my hands-."
"I know all too well what your hands are capable of." I interrupted him.
"I just did as my Dominus commanded. Should you have me, I would gladly serve you and aid in the fall of Spartacus." I stared at the man for a moment before handing over my knife to him.
"The mark of Batiatus rises doubts." I said and he looked from the knife to his arm where the brand lay. "If you were to remove it I would take your loyalty with calmer mind." He hesitated before he took the knife and smiled at me.
"Your will, my hands." With that he slowly cut the mark off his arm.
"You must be patient." Lucretia said a short time later.
"Patience is something I have no time for with Spartacus still drawing breath." I turned the corner and saw Varinius laying his filthy hands on my wife's pregnant belly while she offered him kind smile and laugh.
"Apologies, I did not know of your arrival." I called making everyone turn to me.
"The fault is mine, with happy reunion with father, and news from Rome." Ilithyia said offered a kind smile to Varinius.
"So this is the wife of Batiatus, who miraculously survived such horrors." Varinius said as everyone looked to Lucretia.
"Lucretia, such a wonderful sight-seeing you draw breath." Ilithyia's father said walking up to her.
"I have been brought back to serve." She said humbly.
"Varinius comes to present games." Ilithyia said taking Varinus' arm.
"Games?"
"To take the people's minds off troubling thoughts of Spartacus and thoughts of the vessel he captured." Varinius said as I glared at his back.
"It will be a glorious sight." Ilithyia's father said as he turned to me. "With Lucretia sitting with us it will help to calm the people more."
"An honor I am grateful for, if it weren't for my men out looking for Spartacus.
"Have they yet to succeed?" Varinius asked and I glared at him.
"Perhaps Seppius' men can march in your games?" I offered.
"They do not bare the mark of Rome!" Ilithyia's father yelled.
"See Varinius to whine and view of city. I will have no more argument." Ilithyia nodded and took Varinius' arm.
"Come, I will see you properly tended." With that she left with me glaring at them.
Spartacus' POV:
"We are here, the mountains to the east." I said pointing at the map.
"Strong place to make camp." Agron said then pointed to the map. "We could go northwest to the docks Naples. Men and women are sold into slavery there, as my brother and I were." He said and I looked at the map.
"I was brought from the east I know nothing of Naples, there's fighting me there?" Agron nodded.
"I shall break words with Crixus."
"To what end?" he asked.
"He stands with the Gauls."
"Why he is knee deep in shit." He growled and I turned back to him.
"They hold more number than us, numbers that will be needed should we go to Naples." I said and he just looked at me. "The man is also in need of distraction from wounded soul." With that I left to find him.
I found him sitting with his back resting upon a wall staring off into memories.
I sat beside him and waited for him to speak.
"How did you survive, after your woman was taken from you?" the question through me as it was so long ago.
"I found Harry." I answered simple and he looked to me.
"And when he was taken from your arms?" I hesitated on that one.
"I nearly didn't." I admitted and looked back to him. "But I tried, knowing that there was a slight chance I could hold him once more in my arms. I also knew he would want me to survive, to fight for freedom." I told him.
"I am but bone, flesh, void of a beating heart."
"I will see empty chest filled with the blood of Romans." I smiled at me but shook his head.
"It will not wash away what I've done." I was confused then.
"What you've done?"
"I chased her without care of what happened. She is gone from this world because of me."
"We do not choose love brother, it takes hold of a man and refuses to move." I told him and he looked forward.
"It grips, until there is nothing left."
"And yet it can become a fist. How many more have to suffer what she has?"
"I have heard your thoughts. Now leave me to yours."
"She was a rare woman, but she died a slave. I will not let a man who can make difference for others sit upon the wall." I said and left him as he asked.
Nasir's POV:
I watched Spartacus leave Crixus to his thoughts and I couldn't stop the guilt that entered me.
I felt a presence behind me and turned to see Agron standing there.
"A sword to chest would be a blow less felt." I said with tears.
I felt his gentle touch upon my arm and I turned to face him. "One of many sacrifices." He said.
"I would speak to him."
"Your words will cause more suffering." He said and looked to Crixus. "If he knew the truth." He put his hand to my face then. "I would not have you or countless others die for his cause." He vowed.
I smiled at him sadly and watched him leave before turning to Crixus once more and followed Agron.
Sirius' POV:
"How could these people be so stupid?" I asked Remus.
I had only read the first page and I wanted to jump back in time with Harry and kill Romans myself.
"Back then slaves were normal. What you're reading about how they were treated wasn't considered cruel or evil, well to Romans anyway."
"Still, what these people went through…."
"Enough of that love, we need to find the section where history first brings Harry into it."
"How though? Not much is in this passage and I've already read page one."
"I know what you mean. I'm on the fourth page and still no Harry, just some horrible things being done to people."
"If Albus found it already why are we trying to find it?"
"He's not found all of it love, just the passage itself. He has a copy too, but he needs our help if we want to find out what Harry's been going through and what might've happened to him and Spartacus."
"Did it occur to people they may have just started a life together in hiding? Just the two of them?"
Remus shook his head and looked to me. "It's clear they disappeared, and they may very well go into hiding, but I don't think that's the case."
"What do you mean?" I asked and he sighed as he looked at the paper.
"When Albus told us about it, it was almost as if he suspected something bad had happened." Fear washed over me then.
"What do you mean Remmy?" He sighed again and looked at me.
"I think, they did go into hiding, but I don't think they got the happy ending you're wanting to believe they got. If Albus' look was anything to go on."
"Maybe it was just a tired look?" I asked hopefully.
"Maybe." He said distractedly.
"Let's just find Harry in this damn passage." I said and looked back to the page ignoring him eyes that I felt on me.
Spartacus' POV:
I walked in with Harry to men fighting each other.
"Dammit." Harry groaned as we both rushed in to pull the men from one another.
"The mountains will be a good place to settle. "Agron speaks of men to be liberated at Naples just under their wake."
"Agron can suck the piss from my cock." Someone yelled.
"It'd be too small of a drink for a man like him." Harry said. The man went to charge him but Harry petrified him as I pulled him closer.
"The mountains will give us cover as we take Naples!" I yelled over the men.
"Let us hear from Crixus!" a Gaul called.
"And what would he say?" his voice suddenly appeared as we all looked to him. "What words would make difference?" he looked around at the people before making his way to me and Harry. "The ones I taught myself? The ones of hope and promise?" Crixus stopped and looked to us.
"Spartacus lost a wife, and nearly lost his heart, yet his fire still burns." I pulled Harry to me. "Agron, a brother, yet his fire still burns." Agron nodded and looked to Nasir. "Harry, Harry fell from his own time where those he was to call family hurt him, held from his loves arms, and is now hunted for a false title, yet his fire still burns." I tightened my hold on Harry then.
"We have all lost. We have all seen those we call friends and family and lover ripped from grasp by the Romans." He turned to look at everyone before stopping facing me. "Yet our fire still burns." I nodded at him and watched as he began to walk again.
"Together we shall ignite an inferno." He stopped right in front of me and Harry then. "I move with Spartacus and Harry." He held his hand out for me to take as he did so for Harry. We both took it and looked to our people as they cheered.
Ashur's POV:
I had been whipping Oenomaus all day and I had to stop as pain rain through my arm where the brand once was.
Pissed, I walked up to him and got into his near dead face. "You will speak. You will speak, and tell me where Spartacus and his men are. You will tell me as you take your last-." I paused when he spit blood onto my face.
I touched it and slowly turned to him. "You fucking cunt! I shall tear the words out of your fucking mouth!" I yelled and began to hit him over and over with the whip handle.
"Ashur!" a voice called and I looked behind Oenomaus to see Lucretia standing by the gate.
I walked over to her leaving Oenomaus to his pain. "Oenomaus must not die before prophecy is fulfilled." She said.
"His fucking tongue will not give word."
"Your tongue will give no more should he die." I turned and smirked at her.
"I should never have come back to this house." I said and looked around. "These walls hold to many memories that I no longer want."
"Look to the gods."
"The gods?" I asked turning to her. "Was it the gods who found you near death? Sowed your mangled womb? Seen you fed and clothed? Seen Oenomaus to your arms? No! That was Ashur." I said pointing to myself.
"You but serve." She hissed and I smirked at her.
"I was serving you."
"And I them."
I sighed then and laughed at her. "I fear we're forsaken then." I turned and pointed to Oenomaus. "He will not speak!" I growled.
"Even the dead have words." She said with a smirk and I huffed in annoyance. "There is a secret buried within these walls." That claimed my attention. "You will see it brought to light once more."
At that I smirked.
Spartacus' POV:
I watched my people as they slept when I felt familiar arms snake around my waist.
"It's late love, and our beds cold without you in it." Harry whispered and I shivered at his touch and looked down at him.
"Fall to it my love, I shall join you presently." He pouted at me and moved closer.
"It's not easy, you know, being from your side."
"It's not always the safest place." I argued.
"It is for me. If I'm beside you I know you're still breathing, still just an arm's reach from me and not laying on the ground with a sword in you." He whispered and kissed my chest.
"I love knowing you yet draw breath as well love, but I fear the longer you're at my side you shall cease breath, something I cannot handle should it happen." Harry side and took my hand and placed it to his heart.
"This Spartacus, this is beating now. It beats because I'm with you. Everyone dies Spartacus, but if you left me or died I'd end up dead. By your side I'm alive and it's where I want to be. Swords in hand and kill all those fucking Romans who took your freedom. If at the end of this we are to die, then let's die together, and show not all go quietly." He smirked at me.
I looked at my hand upon his chest and felt the beating of his heart underneath the soft skin the up into his eyes and pulled him into a deep kiss as I carried him back to our chambers.
I laid Harry down and rolled him over and entered him without a moments wait. He moaned and laid his head on my shoulder as I slowly moved in and out of him.
He moaned louder and turned to kiss me and smiled up at me. I smiled at him and rested my forehead upon his back and moved faster within him.
Our moans filled the chamber as we both came closer to climax.
"S-Spartacus!" Harry gasped as he climaxed. Seeing his face as he finished caused me to come to my climax and I screamed his name as I finished inside him.
I slowly I pulled out of him, Harry moaning in protest as I did, and rolled him over. I wrapped my arms around him and gently laid on top of him as his arms went around my neck.
This night I shall go to my dreams knowing Harry is completely safe underneath me.
NEXT MORNING
Nasir's POV:
"You plan on bringing the whole building with you?" a voice asked. I looked up into the face of Harry as he smiled in amusement at me.
"We travel far, Agron has asked me to pack all that will be needed.
"My brother does like to be prepared for anything." He said with a sigh. I looked up at him as he walked over and knelt beside me.
"Brother?" he nodded at my question.
"I see all, besides Spartacus of course, that came from the House of Batiatus as my brothers. They love me and I love them. We've become a sort of family and it's just getting bigger the more people we save, like you." He said with a smile and I blushed a little.
"You've come a long way from the night you tried to take Spartacus from me." I looked down in shame at the reminder.
"Apologies, I see now I was foolish."
"Be that as it may, I've already forgiven you the night you turned and saved him." I looked up at Harry's smiling face in shock. "Back to Agron though, I see the way you two look at each other." His smile turned to a smirk and I quickly looked away and began packing once more.
"I know not of what you speak."
"Oh don't play dumb! I've seen the way you look at him and the way he looks at you! I've also seen the two of you alone in dark corners talking and the blush that appears when he's close to you, kinda like there's one now." I blushed deeper and he laughed.
"Anyways, you should tell him how you feel, he's a great man and I know for a fact he feels the same." I looked to him and he placed a hand upon my shoulder. "Give him a chance, give you guys a chance. I promise it'll be worth your while if you do." I said. I smiled at him and nodded.
"Gratitude Harry." He smiled at patted my shoulder before standing and running to take Spartacus' hand within his own.
Once the trunk was full I began the slow process of dragging it to where it was needed.
The trunk was heavy, and hard to carry on my own, when suddenly some weight lifted and I turned to see Crixus.
"Crixus." I acknowledged and turned around and began leading him.
"I was not in favor of your training, do you know reason?"
"I tried to kill Spartacus?"
"So have I, on more than one occasion, but that is not the reason." I felt him stop and I turned to face him. "The reason is because a Syrian hurt Naevia in the worst way, and betrayed his brothers." I looked at him in sadness as he lost himself in memories of this Naevia they used to speak of. "But she would not have me hold grudge on you as well. You may be a Syrian, but you are not the one that gave cause for her to be ripped from my arms. She was a gentle soul, and would not hold a grudge for another's evil." He said.
I smiled sadly at him then sighed, knowing full well I was about to in danger the man I secretly love but also knew this was right.
"There is something I must tell you."
Argon's POV:
I was laughing with our men as we prepared to leave when suddenly Crixus was crying and running for me.
He grabbed me and through me into a pillar. He hit me and I blocked the next one and hit him as he brought his other hand and hit me.
Men tried to pull us apart but we pulled from grasp and ran for each other.
That is, until we were both suddenly no longer upon the ground.
"The hell's going on here?!" Harry's voice rang out as he and Spartacus ran into the room and looked up at us.
I was trying to get over Harry being able to make a human float in the air when Crixus spoke.
"Naevia lives!" that had them both looking to Crixus.
"How did you come by this?" Spartacus asked.
"The boy Nasir told me the man they killed spoke of her being taken to the mines!" he yelled and I looked to Nasir who turned his gaze from me.
We were suddenly being lowered and everyone looked at me in shock.
"You lied Agron?" Harry asked.
"What of her life?" Spartacus asked.
"What of our lives?" I asked and looked around. "Crixus has no thought towards any but Naevia and would have us all to the mines in vain attempt to rescue her!" I yelled and gabbed Spartacus' arm.
"I did what needed to be done Spartacus you must believe that." I begged. He looked to Crixus then me only for a sudden fist to connect with my nose.
"You fucking jerk!" Harry growled and I looked to him.
"Had Duro been in her place such a lie would never pass lips!" Spartacus growled stepping to Harry.
"If a single life doesn't matter then none matter!" Harry yelled to everyone.
"We stand with Crixus, and shall see Naevia from the mines." Spartacus said and I just shook head.
"I will not fucking die for this." They all looked to me. "I move for the mountains, those who would live, join me." With that I left the room along with those that wished to follow my lead.
Ashur's POV:
A groan brought my thoughts from food to man. "He returns to us." I said cheerfully as Oenomaus awoke. "I thought for sure you left for the afterlife in the night." I said and stood up as he looked to me.
"Still no word?" he remained silent and I nodded. "Very well, I shall have mine." I looked around the Villar. "Some many memories. Like over there, where I first learned of Naevia being involved with Crixus. And there Dominus gave me rank for helping in the death of the Magi Straight. And further inside where Gannicus took her wife as entertainment to noble blood." At that Oenomaus looked to me.
"Lie." I sighed and smirked at him.
"So he breaks silence at last, and for what, a whore." He got an angry look upon his face and I just looked at him. "Were you really so blind? Did you not see the changes in behavior or the lingering gazes at each other? Did you ever wonder how she came upon a poisoned drink meant as gift to Batiatus' father? She was not one to steal nor one to drink alone." I watched his face as he slowly began to believe my words and I smirked.
"The night she died you were conveniently taken to market with Dominus and Gannicus to be sold the next morning and your wife slipping away into Gannicus' cell. One last drink, one last fuck." He leaned towards me in anger and I smirked at him.
"They're all the same. Spartacus, Crixus, Gannicus, but the noble Oenomaus? Tsk, tsk, tsk. Fallen to ruin for a woman plowed by another man's cock" I walked a little closer to him and kept smirk upon face.
"Your wife betrayed you. Your brother. Betrayed by those you love." I looked at him in fake sadness as he began to believe.
"What does a serpent know of love?"
"That its bite is often fatal." I answered him as he looked upon me.
"Your wife fell for it, Spartacus fell for it only to gain a new heart that I'm sure will eventually find a similar fate, even the mighty Gaul fell to its venom."
"They will find her." He said and I looked to him in shock. "One day, they will find her." I looked at him as I began to figure it out.
"They will find her?" he then knew he just gave information unwillingly of his brothers. "So that's why they headed south!" I understood then.
They were on the trail Naevia left behind in her wake.
"Spartacus is not the one that gives intent."
Spartacus' POV:
"Remind us where Harry is?" Varro asked as we all dressed ourselves to look as slaves once more.
"In our room changing. I would not let anyone's eyes but my own gaze upon him."
"Such a shame too, I would so like to see what he looks like." Rhaskos hollered as he fucked his woman on a pillar.
I turned a deathly glare to him and he lost his smile.
"Do not take words to heart, they hold no truth in them." He quickly said and looked back to his girl.
Approving of his answer I turned to Crixus as he spoke.
"We are to attack naked? Use our cocks as weapons?" we all laughed at that.
"It serve you just as well." A voice answered. We all turned and saw Agron and Nasir watching us.
"Remove from fucking sight." Crixus growled and looked away.
Agron looked to me and I nodded. "Go."
"Seek us out in the mountains should you survive."
"Pray I do not." Crixus threatened. Agron nodded and went to leave but Nasir's voice stopped him.
"I often accompanied my Dominus to the mines, I may be of some aid." He said and I nodded.
"Gratitude." Crixus said and Nasir looked to Agron.
Agron smirked at him and shook his head amused. "Fucking Syrians." With one last smile to Nasir he left.
Harry came out then in only his subligaria as the rest of us and pointed. "The wagon's ready." I nodded at him and turned to see most men with drool on chins.
"Turn fucking gaze or see eyes leave your skulls." I growled causing everyone to look quickly away and Harry laughed as he turned to Barca and Pietros.
"Use Hedwig should you need aid." Barca said and he nodded.
"You two stay safe and help Agron protect our people." They both nodded to Harry and left to follow Agron.
The men left then and I went to follow only to feel Crixus' hand on arm.
"Spartacus." I stopped him and placed hand on shoulder.
"Save words for Naevia, when we've returned her to your arms." He smiled and nodded then followed me out to the wagon.
IN THE WAGON ABOUT JUST AS THEY MAKE IT TO THE MINES
Harry's POV:
I sat by Spartacus as we all sat in silence until we finally reached the mines and the wagon stopped.
Nasir opened the door then and looked to a disguised Rhaskos. "See them from fucking wagon!" he yelled and turned to the men waited to speak to him as Rhaskos pushed us out to keep the appearance up.
He seemed to be doing good as we lined up but I was too far down the line to hear what was being said.
The guy suddenly looked pissed and I just moved on instinct when I saw Spartacus make a move to attack. "Am I to present myself now?" I asked as innocently and scared as I could.
I felt Spartacus' gaze on me and looked to see him both pissed and scared and I looked away not wanting to lose my courage.
"Yes." Nasir said and turned to me also glaring.
'Is there someone in this fucking group that doesn't think they need to be overprotective of me?!' I thought as I suddenly felt smaller under the ugly guy's stare.
"A special offering to apologize for troubles."
"Wait here." The guy said getting a little too close to Nasir. "Rotten ass serves no trade!" he growled and walked over before roughly grabbing me.
I turned and saw Crixus and Varro holding Spartacus back and I was grateful they weren't going to jeopardize the plan for me.
The man dragged me to his ten and threw me onto the table and was on me.
I slapped and pushed at him as he got his pants off and mine off as well and I grabbed his knife and held it to his cock as he went to turn me around.
"I have questions, and you will answer them unless you want your cock on the floor." I growled as he went stock still.
"There was a woman brought here from the House of Batiatus. She's beautiful and young, one fat shits like you would easily spot out!" when he didn't answer I pushed the knife closer and harder. "Speak!"
"I know of no such woman." He tried to growl but I pushed harder.
"Think then! She's dark skinned and a mark on her back of a Domina." I explained and pushed a little more.
"I do recall such a woman." He said and I looked at him.
"Does she live?" I asked.
"I believe it so." I pushed more and he stiffened.
"Where?"
"Assigned to dig the eastern wall!" I pushed harder and he looked at me. "There is a map." I brought the knife up and held it under his chin.
"Show me, nice and slow." I demanded.
Spartacus' POV:
"Harry's been in there far too long." I said and a man hit one of ours and walked up to me.
"You there, where do you come from?"
"Sicilia." I answered not looking at him.
Harry's POV:
I slowly pointed at something behind him. "In the tunnel, it branches off here." I went to look but he suddenly tried to turn me around and shoved me to the table.
Spartacus' POV:
"I've seen you somewhere." He lifted my face and looked at it and dawning came to his eyes.
"The arena." He gasped and I head butted him and turned to my men as we freed ourselves and began to fight.
Harry's POV:
I pushed him away and turned only to kick him in the balls and started to stab him in the neck over and over when he leaned forward.
When I knew he was dead I backed up and put my subligaria on and grabbed the map as I headed for Spartacus.
Spartacus' POV:
I turned and saw Harry walking to me with a map in hand.
"Harry!" I called in relief only to feel fear when I saw blood.
"It's not mine, it's Roman." I sighed and kissed him before looking at the map in his hand.
"Does Naevia live?" Crixus asked in hope.
I smiled, feeling good knowing I was telling him such great news. "She does brother, she lives." He sighed and patted my shoulder and looked to Spartacus as he told men what to do.
"Into the mines!" Crixus called to the rest as the piled in after me.
Before I got too far though I did hear Spartacus speak to Crixus.
"Come brother, let us see heart restored." I smiled at how loyal Spartacus was to those he claims close to him and led the men through the passages.
"I shall see them freed." Spartacus said and I looked to him.
"Baby there's too many, we'll get discovered if we do." Spartacus nodded and looked to them all.
"Live, and know I will return." With that he followed me.
We walked quickly until we got to the passage Naevia was meant to be in.
"She is here?" Crixus asked and I nodded.
"Search everyone!" Spartacus said and we all spread out in the passage looking for Naevia.
"You positive it is the passage?" Crixus asked and I nodded.
"Crixus there's one here that fits description!" Nasir called causing us all to run to him.
We all saw the mark on her back and Crixus slowly walked up to her.
"Naevia?" a cry was heard and a woman tried to stop him but he gently pushed her aside and knelt behind Naevia.
"Naevia, it's me, you are safe." He said as he slowly touched her arm. He repeated the words even as he stood her up and she tried to fight him.
When she finally looked up at him hope entered her eyes. "Crixus?" he nodded. She let out a sob and wrapped her arms tightly around him.
The moment did last though.
"Spartacus men come this way!" a boy yelled only to get stabbed from behind.
"Run!" Spartacus yelled pushing me in front of him as I tried to lead us all out safely he and Varro killed the men.
"Ashur!" Crixus yelled and I turned just in time to see Ashur flee the passage.
'Fucking coward!' I growled and turned back to lead us out.
I was freaking out some and accidently led them to a dead end.
"He leads us to our fucking death!" someone yelled and I looked with shaky hands at the map.
I felt familiar, safe arms around my shoulders and a breath in my ear.
"Breath and gain surroundings." Spartacus said and I took a deep breath and looked at the map.
"I missed a turn, it'll lead us to the woods." I turned and looked down a passage. "This one!" I yelled and ran forward.
We ran until we saw a guard try to lock the gate and Spartacus threw a rock at him knocking him down dead and the keys near the door. I ran forward and reached for the keys as everyone piled into the room.
"I shall give them pause!" Crixus yelled and I turned to him to see him looking at Naevia. "To give you time to slip through their grasp." She shook her head at him and I finally reached the keys and unlocked the door just as soldiers filed in.
"Run!" I yelled to the men and went back to help Spartacus, Crixus, and Varro as Nasir helped everyone outside the door.
When most were out Crixus pushed Naevia to me and Spartacus. "See her to safety." With that he ran at them.
"Crixus!" Spartacus called and Naevia tried to get him.
I grabbed her and pulled her through the door, her screaming the whole time, and Spartacus closed it behind us and we turned to watch Crixus fight only to be knocked down by a stab to a leg. Rhaskos had also stayed behind but four soldiers surrounded him and took him down.
Crixus looked to us and Spartacus locked the door and helped me drag Naevia away just as Ashur raised a blade was raised at Crixus.
