Disclaimer: Hey guys! Summer vacation is here and I am back! Somewhat. Hopefully. *grins* Enough about me though. A new chapter of Fire Emblem has been formed and I would like you all to enjoy it to the fullest. I present to you Con Job!
I leaned against my mail box as I waited for a ride to base. A small part of me hoped it would be Optimus. He was suppose to be my guardian after all. But as we all know, he's busy being a supreme commander and all.
"Woah!" I yelped as a honk distracted me from my thoughts. I looked up and it took all of my willpower not to grin like an idiot. "Optimus."
"Hello Terra." My guardian greeted as he opened his passenger door. "I apologize for startling you."
I blinked. "Huh? Oh! Um, that's okay Boss Bot." I grinned nervously. "Just lost in my thoughts I guess." I hopped in the passenger seat of his alt. mode and he closed the door behind me.
The seat belt wrapped around me and I leaned back in to the seat which was surprisingly comfortable. Optimus pulled off from the front of my house and started driving back to base. I leaned against the window and watched the outside go by. However, the silence started to kill me.
"Boss Bot?"
"Yes Terra?" Prime's voice came through the speakers.
"What was life like back on Cybertron?" I was honestly curious to what the 'Bots were like before the war.
"It was," Optimus paused. "Different from the way things are now, I suppose."
"Different how?" I raised an eyebrow.
"There was a caste system." Optimus began. "When Cybertronians came from the Well of Allspark as a sparkling, or baby in human terms, they are placed into what you humans would call a nursery until they are old enough to be cast into the caste system."
"What's the caste system?" I asked.
"It's...rather complicated to explain Terra." Optimus sighed. In other words, he didn't want to talk about it.
I smiled slightly and patted the dash board. "It's okay big guy. I won't push it."
As soon as I said that we pulled in to the base. I smiled. "Thanks for the ride Boss Bot." I hopped out before he could say anything.
I looked around and found my best friend. He saw me walking over to him and smiled. I returned the smile, ignoring the way my knees went a little weak when he looked at me like that. I shook my head ever so slightly. Come on Terra, get a grip. What's wrong with you?
"Good to see you and Optimus finally spending time together." Jack commented as I walked up to stand beside him.
I chuckled. "Yeah, well, it had to happen sooner or later right?"
"I suppose so." Jack laughed sheepishly as he rubbed the back of his head before he noticed something and his eyes narrowed. "Did you get a tattoo or something?"
"Huh?" I frowned before I followed his eyes and swore under my breath as I pulled my jacket up some more to cover phoenix symbol on my right shoulder. "No that's just something that comes with being me."
Jack got the hint pretty quick and groaned. "Is there anything else you haven't told me?"
"Hmm." I pretended to think. "Given the fact, we were pushed into the lives of giant robots pretty suddenly I think I actually do have a lot to catch you up on."
Jack checked an imaginary watch causing me to laugh. He laughed as well before looking at me with those warm blue eyes. "I think I have time. Spill it Terra."
I smiled and told Jack about the dream I had with Solaria and how she granted me my new powers. I told him about how I tested the serpent during the whole scraplet incident and how it tired me out. I told my best friend everything. It felt so good just to talk to him again with the all the craziness going on with the Autobots and Decepticons. It was kind of refreshing.
"Wow." Jack blinked. "So what? You're even more powerful now?"
"I suppose so." I held my hand to where only he could see it and let tiny little flames flicker across my fingers. "I won't be testing it out anytime soon though. Hopefully."
Before Jack could respond, a beeping sound came from the monitors followed by the voice of our favorite medic.
"Optimus," Ratchet started. "I'm receiving a signal on a restricted band. It appears to be coming from a starship inside this solar system." Ratchet typed a few more things in on the monitor before his optics widened. "It's an Autobot identification beacon."
"So there are other 'Bots out there?" Jack asked in shock.
"The masses scattered to the galaxies when Cybertron finally went dark." Arcee explained. "But, 'Cons have been known to bait traps with false beacons."
"Only one way to find out if this is the real deal. Right?" I smirked.
"Unknown vessel, this is Autobot Outpost Omega-1. Identify yourself." Optimus commanded.
"I've had warmer welcomes from Decepticon combat brigades." A male voice came through the speakers with a snarky reply.
"Wheeljack?!" Bulkhead exclaimed in shock as he suddenly rushed forward. "You old 'Con crusher! What are you doing all the way out here?"
"So apparently he knows the guy." I sent Jack a quick smirk, which he responded to by laughing.
"Bulkhead? That's you? What's with all the security?" Wheeljack asked.
"The rock we're on is crawling with 'Cons. How soon can you get here and even the odds?" Bulkhead asked his old friend.
"Sometime tomorrow. If I put medal to the pedal." Wheeljack sounded like he was smirking.
"Hmm. I like this guy." I grinned.
"Oh boy." Jack sighed.
"Another 'Bots coming here. How cool is that?" Miko was excited as always.
"Wheeljack. I know of him by reputation only. Can you verify his voice print?" Optimus looked down at Bulkhead as he asked the question.
"He is one thousand percent the real deal Optimus." Bulkhead confirmed.
Optimus nodded before facing the monitor. "We will send landing coordinates Wheeljack. Safe journey."
"See you soon buddy. I'll make sure you get a proper welcome!" Bulkhead exclaimed just as Ratchet cut the link.
"So who's the boyfriend?" Arcee asked with a smirk as she walked up beside Bulkhead.
Bulkhead chuckled. "Me and 'Jackie go way back. We were apart of the same war unit: the Wreckers. Which means the 'Cons are gonna wish that we never found him."
"And it also means Team Prime gets one more member." I added.
"The more, the merrier I say." Bulkhead smiled.
Few Hours Later
"So this is where the magic happens, eh?" Jack looked around my little cave. "I still can't believe you showed Arcee before you showed me."
"Look at the bright side Jack. At least she showed you." Arcee teased.
"Haha. Very funny." Jack rolled his eyes.
"Oh, quit it you two." I laughed. "Okay Jackie, what would you like to see first?"
Jack thought about it for a minute. "Have you tried any of the other tattoos yet?"
"Tattoos? What tattoos?" Arcee was confused.
"Some girl came to me in my dreams and granted me new powers in the form of tattoos." I gave her the short version. "And to answer your question Jack, no I have not because the powers I get from them drain me extremely fast."
"Maybe it's because you harnessed the whole tattoo. Maybe if you just tried tapping into it a little?" Jack suggested.
I thought about it for a minute. "Trying can't hurt." I closed my eyes and took a deep breath before lighting my hands on fire.
The serpent tattoo heated up and I hissed. I pulled back a little from the powers that came with it until I felt only a little and the pain had dulled. I moved my hands in front of me and a few tiny fire serpents flew out. I waved my hands around slowly and tapped into the power some more. The serpents grew larger and formed together to make a bigger one. It wasn't as big as the one that fried the scraplets though.
"Jack, oh Jack, what would I do without you?" I smiled as I let my hands drop and the fire extinguished.
"Who knows Terra?" Jack smirked.
I smiled. Honestly, what would I really do without my best friend?
The Next Day
"Wheeljack's ship is approaching the landing zone." Arcee announced.
From my spot beside Miko, I looked up at the monitor and noticed the blinking dot that was Wheeljack's signal. I smiled and my amber eyes gleamed behind my sunglasses. I had to admit that I was kind of excited to meet this new Autobot.
"You think he's here to visit?" Raf asked.
"Maybe he'll stay." Miko seemed just as excited as me, if not more. "Hmm. He'll have to find his own human though."
I couldn't help but laugh. "I don't know about that Miko. I think we're enough."
A beeping noise made me look up. I turned towards the noise and saw Ratchet by the ground bridge. He pulled the lever and said, "Ground bridge cycling up." He yelped, however, when the ground bridge started sparking. The medic growled before slamming his fist on the controls. "Blasted scraplets! Equipment hasn't been the same since the infestation."
It was quiet for a minute before Jack asked my guardian, "So Wheeljack's going to land halfway across the world and then you'll bridge him here?"
"We can't risk revealing the location of our base." Optimus explained. "Just in case the Decepticons are tracking Wheeljack's ship."
On the other side of the room, Bulkhead was pacing a hole in the floor. Miko and I look at each other before laughing and walking over to him.
"Dude!" Miko laughed. "I've never seen you so stoked."
"And that's saying something considering your charge over here." I gestured to Miko.
"Hey!" Miko yelled indignantly.
Bulkhead laughed. "You guys are gonna love Wheeljack! We were like brothers. And tonight, we are gonna party!"
"Sweet!" Miko grinned.
I groaned. Miko and a party equals a huge headache for all of us. I yelped when suddenly the monitor started beeping really fast and I looked up to see a bunch of red dots. Oh boy...
"Boogies. Closing in fast on Wheeljack's position." Arcee informed.
"Con scum." Bulkhead scowled.
"Ratchet, prepare the ground bridge." Optimus requested. "Arcee, Bulkhead, and Bumblebee, get ready for departure."
Ratchet got to work on setting the ground bridge to Wheeljack's coordinates. It took longer than usual though because of the damage left behind by the scraplets. And unfortunately, Bulk got restless pretty quick.
"Open the bridge Ratchet. We're missing all the action!" Bulkhead exclaimed.
Ratchet finally managed to open the ground bridge. "I'll prepare sick bay."
"Who for? The 'Cons?" Bulkhead scoffed. "This is Wheeljack we're talking about." With that being said, Arcee, 'Bee, and Bulk ran through the ground bridge.
"Wheeljack must be a war hero or something?" I couldn't help but ask. "Bulk sure seems confident in him."
"Come on Terra! Lighten up." Miko swung an arm around my shoulder. "If he's anything like Bulk, then why not be confident in him?"
I simply shrugged. A bad feeling was forming in the pit of my stomach and after the scraplet incident, I learned to trust that feeling. I looked up when the ground bridge opened again and the 'Bots came through. I finally got a good look at Wheeljack. He had a white paint job with red and green in some places and it looked like he had a mouth guard. He also had two swords on his back.
"Jackie, come here. Meet my other two best buddies." Bulkhead said, making me look up in surprise. "Miko and Terra. They can wreck with the best of us."
Miko smiled at Wheeljack. "Hiya." I, on the other hand, simply waved.
"You two keeping Bulkhead out of trouble?" Wheeljack asked.
"We try. But trouble finds us anyway." Miko laughed.
"More like you bring the trouble to us." I grinned at Miko.
"Hey! I do no such thing!" Miko punched me in the air.
"We're gonna get along just fine." Wheeljack looked back at his old friend.
Heavy footsteps caused us all to look up. Wheeljack straightened and walked over to Boss Bot. "Optimus Prime. It's a privilege."
"Likewise soldier." Optimus nodded. "What have you to report from your long journey?"
"Been bouncing from rock to rock. Searching for signs of friend or foe." Wheeljack shrugged. "Here, I find both."
"We are few, but strong. We have suffered losses, but we have grown." Optimus glanced towards us humans and I smiled at him. "And we would relish welcoming a new member into our fold."
"I'd be honored." Wheeljack smiled.
"Then let's get this party started!" Bulkhead clapped his old friend on the back. Wheeljack turned around and the two former Wreckers chest bumped.
"Oh joy." Ratchet mumbled, causing me to laugh.
I looked at Wheeljack again and I hissed when my serpent tattoo suddenly burned. It was over as soon as it began though.
"What the heck was that about?" I mumbled.
"Terra!"
I looked down at Miko from my place in our little human area and raised an eyebrow. She continued, "Come down and join the party spoil sport!"
"I think I'll take my chances up here." I snorted. The word party and giant robots don't even sound right in the same sentence.
"Suit yourself." Miko shrugged before going to hook up her guitar.
I chuckled before leaning on the railing. I played with the zipper on my leather jacket while I watched Miko prepare for this so called party and Wheeljack and Bulkhead talking in a corner catching up. Jack walked up next to me and leaned on the railing beside me. I glanced over at him and, after making sure nobody was looking, carefully raised my sunglasses up so he could meet my eyes.
"You keep your sunglasses on so much, I forget what they look like sometimes." Jack shook his helm with a smile.
"Well," I smiled after putting them back down. "That comes with the price of being me."
"True." Jack admitted. "Have you thought about telling the 'Bots yet? You know, besides Arcee?"
"Not really, if you want the truth." I sighed.
"Terra..." Jack gave me a look.
"I know, okay?" I snapped. "Just...I'll tell them when I'm ready Jack. Okay?" I looked at my best friend with pleading eyes even though he couldn't see them.
Jack sighed. "Okay, okay. Just make it soon please. I'd hate for them to find out on their own."
"Tell me about it." I snorted before a piercing noise came through the air. "Scrap!"
That piercing noise came from Miko's guitar. I looked down at her and she was playing it like she was a pro. You know, if you liked heavy metal that is.
"Come on Jackie! Show me what ya got!"
"Holy crap." I stared in amazement as a giant ball of metal went sailing over my head. I looked at where it was heading and I saw Bulkhead catch it, even though it pushed him back quite a bit.
"Huh. Nice lob." Bulkhead complimented his friend before throwing it back.
Arcee walked up and stood beside the railing where Jack and I were. I turned to her and asked, "So what's that about?"
"Lobbing. A favorite pastime on Cybertron. Especially among the warrior class." Arcee explained.
I nodded before I noticed one of the most memorable sights in my 16 years of life. Raf was doing the robot dance and Bumblebee was trying to mimic him.
"A robot doing the robot dance?" I was amused by the whole thing.
Jack laughed before he looked around and asked, "Where's Optimus?"
"Went for a drive." Arcee said. When I raised an eyebrow, she elaborated, "Primes don't party."
"Ah." I nodded.
The serpent tattoo heated up again and I bit my lip to keep from making a sound. I looked in Wheeljack's direction and saw him talking to Ratchet about something. The way he kept looking at the ground bridge made me narrow my eyes. Something isn't right.
"Hey Terra? Jack?" Raf called out. My best friend and I looked down and he continued, "Wheeljack and Bulkhead are about to tell us some war stories. Do you wanna come?"
"Sure? Why not?" Jack shrugged before looking at me. "You coming?"
"Why not?" I shrugged. I wasn't going to listen to war stories however. I wanted to keep an eye on Wheeljack. Something has to be up with him in order to set the serpent off.
Jack and I walked down the stairs and over to Raf who led us over to Miko, Bulkhead, and Wheeljack. I leaned on a nearby crate and got ready to listen to the story. I kept my eyes on Wheeljack the whole time as Bulkhead began to get excited as he got to the good part of the story.
"So there we were, no communications, low on energon, surrounded by 'Cons, and what does Wheeljack do?" Bulkhead was grinning from ear to ear.
I couldn't help but smile at how he paused for dramatic effect. This was honestly a good war story. I kept an eye on Wheeljack however.
Bulkhead laughed loudly. "Tell 'em 'Jackie!"
I narrowed my eyes at how Wheeljack laughed. He seemed nervous as he smirked and said, "Well, what I do best."
"He chucked his only grenade smack in to the primary heat exchanger!" Bulkhead exclaimed.
"Yeah. Seemed like a good idea at the time." Wheeljack shrugged.
"The joint went supernova!" Bulkhead gestured with his hands.
"Awesome." Miko breathed in awe. I, on the other hand, was considered with the fact that Wheeljack was pretty nonchalant about a war story that he was in.
"Yeah. I'm still picking shrapnel out of my back side." Bulkhead rubbed his back.
"I'm not surprised. Given the size of your back side." Arcee smirked.
I laughed when Bumblebee said, "Oh she got your there Bulk."
"There's 'Jackie's signature. One grenade, one shot." Bulkhead paused before waving his hand in front of his friend's face. "Hey, you alright?"
"What?" Wheeljack snapped out of his thoughts. Or should I say his staring at the ground bridge.
"You don't seem like yourself." Bulkhead gained a worried look on his face.
"What do you mean?" Wheeljack stood up, as if he was offended.
"You seem...quiet." Bulkhead struggled to find the right word.
"Ah." Wheeljack shrugged it off. "Been stuck in a can too long. Should go topside before I get stir crazy."
"I have patrol in the morning. You can come with." Bulkhead offered.
"Let's go now." Wheeljack looked towards the entrance of the base. I scowled. Why was he so determined to get outside our base?
"And break up the party? Come on! The gang's loving you!" Bulkhead exclaimed. "You gotta tell them about the battle of Darkmount Pass."
"You tell 'em." Wheeljack said, causing Bulkhead to look at him in shock. "You're better at it. How about if Miko here shows me the rest of your base?"
"Well...yeah." Bulkhead seemed kind of dejected but he didn't let it show. "Sure 'Jackie." He chuckled. "Go ahead."
"Tour starts now." Miko smirked.
The serpent tattoo burned severely and I hissed in pain. I guess I was joining the tour. "Wait up Miko! I wanna go with."
Miko grinned. "Sweet!" She then turned to Wheeljack and started firing off questions. "Can you play any instruments? Can you fly? Have you ever thrashed more Decepticons than Bulkhead?"
I sighed. I was beginning to regret coming already. I played with the zipper on my jacket as Miko went in to full on tour guide mode for Wheeljack. My eyes burned in to his back and I was surprised he couldn't feel me staring at him. I sighed and went to stand beside Miko. The base wasn't that big so this shouldn't take long.
After a while I was relieved to hear Miko say, "So that's pretty much it. Energon stock pile, power generator, armory. Everything you need to blow the joint sky high." Okay, maybe not that last part.
"How do you know your way around anyway Miko?" I couldn't help but ask.
Miko shrugged. "I have a lot of free time when Bulk is away on missions."
"Where is this bunker located exactly?" Wheeljack suddenly asked.
"Wouldn't you like to know?" I mumbled. I winced when I felt his optics on me. Stupid Cybertronians and their advanced hearing.
"If I told ya, I'd have to rip out your spark chamber." Miko said in a threatening voice.
I couldn't help but stare at her. Does she really think that's going to scare him?
"Kidding." Miko grinned. "Just outside Jasper, Nevada. Though I don't expect it to mean much to ya." Sometimes this girl makes me want to severely burn her.
"Can't say it does." Wheeljack said and I saw him narrow his optics at me out the corner of my eye and I winced. "Hey, uh, is there any way out of here besides bridging?"
"Why? You're not going to leave so soon are you?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Aw come on spoil sport." Miko flicked me on the head. "Lighten up." She looked at Wheeljack. "Come on, we'll show you."
I grumbled under my breath as I walked alongside Miko. After showing Wheeljack the entrance to base, which I truly did not want to do, Miko and I led the way back to the main room. I heard loud talking and I frowned. What was going on?
"Hey." Wheeljack called out, causing everyone to be quiet. "What are you guys talking about?"
"I was just telling the guys about you and me." Bulkhead replied."At the battle of Dark Mount Pass."
"That's a heck of a story." Wheeljack commented.
"Yup." Bulkhead's optics suddenly narrowed. "Tell it." It was good to know I wasn't the only one who noticed something was off about Wheeljack.
"Talk, talk, talk." Miko rolled her eyes. "How about after we go off-roading?"
"Miko! Not now!" I hissed.
"Miko, stay out of this." Bulkhead ordered.
"Bulkhead, easy." Arcee chided.
"I'm not sure I..." Wheeljack was cut off.
"Tell it!" Bulkhead snapped.
"Fine. You wanna live in the past Bulkhead?" Wheeljack scowled. "The Wreckers were stuck between a Decepticon patrol and the smelting pit. 'Cons were vicious. Bearing down on us with everything they had. Bulk and I engaged the enemy, left 'em for scrap. Then I made us a way out. Used their back sides to make a way across the molten metal. Isn't that how it happened?"
"Yeah. That's exactly how it happened." Bulkhead said slowly. "Except for one little thing." Wheeljack's face was priceless. "I wasn't there."
I smirked and crossed my arms. This was getting good.
"I'd already left the Wreckers to join up with Optimus." Bulkhead pointed a finger at the fake Wheeljack. "But you wouldn't know that if all you did was access Wheeljack's public service records!"
"Bulkhead, what does that have to do with...WOAH!" Miko yelled as Wheeljack reached for her.
I made a split second decision and pushed her out of the way. I yelped as big metal hands wrapped around me and I was picked up. I gulped as I saw how far I was from the ground. If I fell, I was done for unless one of the 'Bots caught me.
"Terra!" Jack yelled.
"Stay back or I'll squeeze her into pulp." The imposter growled.
"Ugh! Let me go bolt for brains!" I yelled. I resisted the urge to heat my body up so he would be forced to drop me.
The look on Bulkhead's face was enough to make me relieved that the expression "looks can kill" is JUST an expression.
"Wheeljack! What are you doing?!" Miko exclaimed.
"Idiot!" I growled. "This isn't Wheeljack!"
"Con scum! Put the girl down and face me!" Bulkhead demanded.
"Don't fret." The imposter chuckled. "Plenty of fighting to come." I wish I knew this guy's name!
The serpent tattoo burned and a name was shown in my mind. Makeshift.
Okay, that's just creepy.
"Is there a real Wheeljack?" Jack looked on the verge of having a panic attack.
"Oh indeed." Makeshift chuckled. "And I expect Lord Starscream is making sport of him."
The urge to heat up was incredibly strong. And I mean literally. My body was starting to heat up against my will and pushing it down was no easy task. I scowled, however, when Makeshift started messing with the ground bridge. My eyes widened when he sped up the de-frag process. The ground bridge was up and ready and it didn't take me long to figure out what he was planning to do.
"About time." Makeshift commented. He typed in the coordinates for what I assumed was a meeting place with the 'Cons and opened the bridge. I gulped. Now was one of those times I wished my powers weren't a secret.
"Let's get this party started." Makeshift smirked as he stood in front of the ground bridge.
The next thing I knew, Makeshift was flying forward and he let me go and then I flew forward with him. Before I left his hands however, I made sure to leave a nasty burn mark on his servo. After that, I focused on screaming my head off.
I grunted when I felt myself land on metal. I opened my eyes and sighed in relief when I saw the familiar baby blue eyes of Bumblebee.
"Terra! Are you okay?!" Bumblebee asked. He looked on the verge of panicking.
"I'm fine." I flopped down on his servo. "Perfectly fine." I was breathing heavily. Near death experiences have become an everyday thing for me recently.
Bumblebee sat me down on the floor and I stood up beside Jack who smiled at me in relief. I smiled back before focusing on my rescuer. The real Wheeljack.
"I'd shut that hole before the stink comes through." Wheeljack advised.
Ratchet didn't hesitate to close the ground bridge once Wheeljack's meaning sunk in. 'Cons were on the other side of that bridge and were probably waiting to come in. I shook my head and and focused on Wheeljack. Well, I tried to. I couldn't tell the two apart.
Bulkhead smashed his fist together and prepared to join the fight. Wheeljack stopped him by putting his sword in front of him and proclaiming, "Ugly's mine."
I liked him already.
Wheeljack and Makeshift started circling each other again. I scowled when I lost track of who's who's again. All I saw were two Cybertronians who looked alike trying to kill each other.
"Which one's the real Wheeljack?" Raf asked frantically.
"Uhhh..." Miko looked between the two quickly. "Ugh! I lost track!"
I couldn't help but smirk when Makeshift started to lose the fight, allowing me to tell the difference between the two. Wheeljack disarmed him and knocked him the floor, ending the attack by pointing his sword at him to keep him from standing.
"That's my 'Jackie." Bulkhead stated proudly.
"You. Hit the switch." Wheeljack told Ratchet. "It's time to take out the trash." He smirked at Bulkhead. "All yours buddy."
Bulkhead started to pick Makeshift up but not before Wheeljack stuck a grenade on to his body. Oh yes, I really like this guy. Bulk swung Makeshift around in a circle before giving a mighty cry and throwing him inside the bridge. We all watched him disappear in to the ground bridge.
"Nice lob." Wheeljack complimented.
An hour passed before Optimus got back. We all explained to him how Makeshift had pretended to be Wheeljack and how the real Wheeljack showed up. And everything else that happened.
Tonight has been a long night.
The Next Day
Today I was dressed in a black hoodie vest with a black tank top underneath, black skinny jeans, and my favorite black combat boots. Black and orange seemed to make up my whole closet now. My shades were of course resting over my eyes. I was leaning against a nearby crate as Miko got the party started that was interrupted last night. It was going great until we all overheard Wheeljack saying one simple sentence.
"Uh, about that Bulk. Now that my ship's repaired, I'm itching to know what all I might find out there." Wheeljack rubbed the back of his helm.
"Wait. You're leaving?" Miko asked in disbelief as all of us humans ran up to them. "Why?"
"Well," Bulkhead started off sadly but then ended in a smile. "Because some 'Bots never change."
"Wheeljack," Optimus gave a rare smile. "Know that you will always have a haven here."
"Jackie never stays," Bulkhead clapped his old friend on the back, making him jump forward a little. "But he always come back." The two friends fist bumped.
Later
I stood beside Jack as everyone prepared to see Wheeljack off. I couldn't help but be sad, even though I'd only known him for a day.
"There's room for two Bulk. Even with a backside like yours." Wheeljack joked before turning serious again. "Who knows what we might find out there? Some of the old crew..."
Bulkhead looked torn before he looked back at us. Specifically Miko. He then chuckled before turning back to Wheeljack. "Sounds like fun 'Jackie. But my ties are here now. With them. With her. And her."
I looked up in surprise. Me? Miko and I shared a look before smiling at Bulkhead.
"If anything happens to my favorite Wrecker, I'm coming after you two." Wheeljack smirked at us.
"We'll take care of him." I promised.
"Now, say cheese." Miko smiled as she flipped open her phone and snapped a picture of the two.
I smiled. Life with Team Prime was getting better everyday. But I couldn't shake the feeling that tomorrow, everything would change.
And DONE! *smirks* Oh Terra, how right you are that everything is about to change. Because as we all know, next chapter is CONVOY! Oh, Primus knows how ready I am for that chapter. The actions, the emotions! *pauses* Okay, maybe I need to calm down just a tiny bit. But I will see you all another time, my dear readers. Next on my list of updates is The Spy and The Saber and now that I'm back in business I would like to get it done hopefully before I leave Sunday. So until next time, Shadow out!
